Snoop Dogg Reacts To A Proposal Happening Right In Front Of Him In A Funny Meet-And-Greet Video

With how over-the-top proposals can get, it’s hard to have one that stands out above the rest. Recently, though, one fan did just that by getting Snoop Dogg involved.

On May 19, concert and tour producer Ian Vaughn shared a video on TikTok, of a couple posing for a photo with Snoop. The video has recently gone viral, as ET Canada notes, because of what happened next: The man got down on one knee, in front of both Snoop and the woman he was with, and pulled out a ring, to which the woman responded, “Oh sh*t!” The man then said, “Would you make me the best man in the world, right next to Snoop?”

She covered her mouth before responding with an excited, “Hell yeah!” She looked at Snoop, who offered a “wow,” as her now-fiancé tried to dap her up but was left hanging. He then stood up and the three shared a group hug.

Snoop, meanwhile, has been celebrating his own marriage recently, as he and Shante Taylor, formerly his high school girlfriend, marked their 25th anniversary on June 12. Snoop shared multiple Instagram posts about the occasion, noting in one of them, “Thank you for 25 beautiful year[s]. We are stronger together.”

Snoop Dogg Will Be The First Guest On Martha Stewart’s New Podcast

Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s friendship isn’t one that many people originally expected, but it’s one that has lasted quite a while. The two have paired up for television appearances on several occasions including their 2016 VH1 series Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party which featured games, recipes, and musical guests. Three years later it spawned a spinoff, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Party Challenge. Snoop and Martha have also starred in a T-Mobile commercial for Super Bowl LI and they co-hosted The Puppy Bowl XVII earlier this year. Now, the duo will bring their talents to the podcast world.

Martha Stewart will launch her new podcast, appropriately titled The Martha Stewart Podcast, later this month. She recently released a brief introduction clip of the iHeartRadio Original Podcast where she revealed that Snoop will be her first guest for the show. “Every time I go anywhere all they want to know is ‘How’s Snoop?’” Stewart says in the clip. Snoop replies, “You don’t think I get approached all the time by people that say ‘Do you think you can get me a picture of Martha; do you think you can get an autograph?’”

According to Billboard, future guests on The Martha Stewart Podcast include Kris Jenner, Alex Rodriguez, “plant explorer” Dan Hinkley, and Stewart’s friends and creative collaborators Kevin Sharkey and Douglas Friedman.

Snoop Dogg, Chaka Khan, Madlib, And A Third Day Were All Added To The Blue Note Jazz Festival In Napa

The brand new Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa Valley was already sporting one of the more unreal music festival lineups of the summer. With Robert Glasper as the artist-in-residence and Dave Chappelle hosting the festivities, the slate of performers features Erykah Badu; Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli performing as Black Star; Thundercat and Maurice Brown, joined by Anderson .Paak; Flying Lotus and The Soul Rebels, joined by GZA and Kweli; and Maxwell. Not bad right?

But this was merely the two-day slate, as the Blue Note Jazz Fest has now added a third day and a ton of new big-time acts. The most significant addition is easily Snoop Dogg, who’ll be performing a set alongside Dinner Party, the Uproxx-favorite project consisting of Glasper, 9th Wonder, Terrace Martin, and Kamasi Washington. Also added to the lineup are R&B and soul legend Chaka Khan, hip-hop production mastermind Madlib, Chris Dave & The Drumheadz, pianist Kiefer with Moonchild’s Amber Navran, and more.

Suffice it to say, a great thing just got even better. The festival will be going down from July 29 to July 31 at the Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, CA. This is in the heart of Napa Valley’s wine country and all in all is a stellar addition to the summer festival circuit.

‘P-Valley’: Here’s All The Music You Heard In Season 2, Episode 2

(SPOILERS for this week’s P-Valley episode will be found below.)

Last week, during the season two premiere of P-Valley, we returned to the lives of Uncle Clifford, Mercedes, and Hailey (fka Autumn Night) to see that The Pynk is struggling a bit due to the coronavirus pandemic. Chucalissa, the city in Mississippi where the strip club is located, eventually lifts COVID restrictions, allowing The Pynk to work its way to a “grand re-re-re-opening.” Things are also different now as Clifford and Hailey are now co-owners of The Pynk.

Furthermore, The Pynk is welcoming a new cast of strippers to P-Valley ahead of The Pynk’s “grand re-re-re-opening.” In episode two, we see which strippers are selected while we also get a look into Mercedes’ struggles, Hailey’s complicated relationship with Andre, Uncle Murda’s career and relationship with Clifford, and Keyshawn’s own aspirations.

The aforementioned events in this week’s episode are soundtracked by songs that help to accentuate the emotions behind each scene. They include Jucee Froot’s thumping “Down In The Valley” which serves as the theme song for the series.

What Songs Were In ‘P-Valley’ S2E2?

The songs that soundtracked the standout moments on this week’s episode of P-Valley are DJ Chose’s “Thick” with Beatking and Bubba Sparxxx’s “Ms. New Booty” with Ying Yang Twins and Mr. Collipark as well as Beyonce’s “7/11.” DJ Chose and Bubba Sparxxx’s records appear in the first few moments of the show as Uncle Clifford, Hailey, and Mercedes hold auditions for new strippers at The Pynk. The ladies wait in line – as one even flirts with Big L – and later show off their skills on the pole.

Beyonce’s “7/11” plays during the “grand re-re-re-opening” of The Pynk. It’s here that Mercedes takes the stage with two of the new strippers. Unfortunately, Mercedes takes a big fall as a result of her shoulder giving out due to an injury she let linger for too long. The fall reunites Clifford, Hailey, Dante, and Mercedes for the first time since the chaos that went down during Murda Night.

The soundtrack for this week’s episode also includes the following songs:
Rick Ross – “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” Feat. Styles P
S3nsi Molly & Lil Brook – “Texas
DJ Zirk – “Lock’em N Da Trunk
DJ Jimi – “Where They At
Snoop Dogg – “Down 4 My N’s” Feat. C-Murder & Magic
Shawnna – “Gettin’ Some
Darondo – “I’m Lonely
Valerie June – “Stay

STARZ’s ‘P-Valley’ airs on Fridays at 9:00 pm EST.

Snoop Dogg Says He Gave His Full-Time Blunt Roller A Raise: ‘Inflation!’

Snoop Dogg has a full-time blunt roller. Full stop. Where was the job posting for this dream job when it became available? Because I’m pretty sure I missed my calling. At any rate, a few years ago, Snoop Dogg was on The Howard Stern Show alongside Seth Rogen and the three of them spent some time talking about this dream job.

Snoop said the impetus for the hiring was that he simply didn’t have the time to do it himself anymore. “If you’re great at something that I need, Im gonna hire you,” the new Death Row Records honcho said. “He’s a PBR: Professional blunt roller.”

He then indicated that he made, “Somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year… and all paid expenses.” He added, “Everything free I get, he gets. So if I’m gonna go get some free clothes, I’m gonna give him some.”

Not a bad deal right? But that was in 2019 and looks like the price for a PBR has gone up. In response to a tweet from factoid aggregator Twitter account UberFacts about Snoop Dogg’s blunt roller making “between $40,000 and $50,000 a year,” Snoop quote retweeted and added, “Inflation. Their salary went up!!”

The PBR job description just keeps getting better. And look, if Snoop Dogg can adjust his professional blunt roller’s salary to account for the mounting cost of living in today’s modern world, then certainly corporate American can do the same.

Ice Cube’s Big3 Basketball League Adds Snoop Dogg As An Owner — And Will Let Fans Buy In, Too

As members of the California-based supergroup Mount Westmore, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg have been working closely together with E-40 and Too Short on their new album, Bad MFs, which is out now via Gala Music. However, it appears they liked working together so much that they’re expanding their endeavors. With Cube’s summer basketball league, Big3, returning for its fifth season, Snoop is joining the fun as part-owner of team Bivouac, which Cube revealed to TMZ Sports. In addition, they’re offering fans the chance to buy in, too.

They’ll do so with a custom cryptocurrency called FEAT — Forever Experience Action Token — dropping on Friday, June 10. “It’s better than an NFT,” he said in the interview. “I think people who can see the future of sports wanna be closer to the action. I don’t think any other league can offer something like what we’re doing… In a lot of ways, we’re in the perfect spot.”

Of Snoop’s involvement, he said, “Snoop is always at the cutting edge. He always wanna be first. When we said we was gonna start selling teams, he hit me right away saying, ‘I need to be a part of that.’”

That’s certainly characteristic of the Doggfather, who also said he wanted to make Death Row Records “the first label in the metaverse” after acquiring it earlier this year. Meanwhile, we’ll see if he can make Bivouac, which boasts a roster including Corey Brewer, Gerald Green, and Will Bynum coached by Gary Payton, a contender this season, which starts June 18 in Chicago.

Snoop Dogg Raises His Personal Weed Roller’s Salary Due to Inflation

snoop lede

Usually, when we read about Snoop Dogg in the news, it’s about him making money, not about him spending it. But we all know Snoop loves marijuana, so if it’s anything Snoop D.O Double G would spend money on is something about his weed habit.

Uber Facts reported that Snoop Dogg pays a person $40-50k a year to roll his joints. Snoop responded by saying he pays them more because of inflation.

This news came in 2019 when the new owner of Death Row Records made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

Stern asked the Mount Westmore Rapper if he really hired a person for that duty, and he replied, “that’s his J-O-B, his occupation,” said The Dog Father. “On his resume, it says, ‘what do you do? I’m a blunt roller,” he said. “P-B-R, professional blunt roller. If you’re great at something I need, I’m hiring you.”

On top of getting $50,000 to roll up, the job comes with a few benefits. The person hired is welcome to smoke the marijuana as long as they roll it. They get to travel on all-expense-paid trips with Snoop on tours and get free items like clothing whenever companies give their products to the artist.

Can you imagine being a weed roller for Snoop Dogg? Comedian Haha Davis did a skit of him smoking with Snoop. In the video, Haha is overwhelmed with Snoop’s weed tolerance. Being Snoop’s personal weed roller may come with a ton of weed, but for more than $50k a year, I doubt that the job would be a hassle.

Mount Westmore Releases Their Album ‘Bad MFs’ On Gala Music’s Metaverse

Mount Westmore, the supergroup consisting of California rap pioneers E-40, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Too Short, has released their debut album, Bad MFs, but there’s a catch: Right now, it only exists in the metaverse. The album can be streamed on the blockchain-based platform Gala Music for a limited time, then it will be given a traditional release. The group premiered the project at Gala Music’s Galaverse event in Malta, dropping an introductory video to announce its release.

The album’s release could provide a clue about Snoop Dogg’s plans to bring the Death Row Records catalog, which he recently acquired, to the metaverse. Shortly after he secured the label and its music, Snoop said he wanted to make Death Row the “first NFT label” and this could be what he means.

Mount Westmore kicked their album’s rollout in the spring of 2021, when they announced their union’s official title during E-40 and Too Short’s Verzuz battle, where they also debuted their first group single, “Big Subwoofer.” They followed up the video for the single in October of 2021, then kept the ball rolling with the “Bad MFs” video in March this year.
