Desiigner Taps A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie For “PMR”

Desiigner’s prepared for a major comeback, and this time, he brought along A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie with him. The Brooklyn-bred star came through with his latest single this week titled, “PMR.” With assistance from A Boogie, he provides a spacey banger that describes the good life. Desiigner and A Boogie’s short collab find them reflecting on sex, drugs, and rap as they reap the benefits of fame. While A Boogie brings out a calmer version of Desiigner, the “Panda” rapper pulls out high energy from the Highbridge rapper.

Desiigner’s slowly gearing up to make his official comeback to the rap game. Last year, the rapper began sharing a slew of singles in anticipation of his next project, which seems like it’ll have some solid collaborations on it at this point. Prior to releasing “Bigger and Bigger,” he teamed up with Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi for their joint effort, “Kilo.” Prior to that, he dropped off “My Brodie” and “Star In The Room” within weeks of each other.

Desiigner Ramps Up For New Album

We caught up with Desiigner in late 2022 following the release of “Bigger And Bigger.” The rapper confirmed his next project will be titled, New Color, and expects to drop it sometime this year. “New Color. The new album’s called New Color. I’m working on it right now. It’s fire,” he said at the time, though he confirmed that it was still a work in progress. “I got some features on it already. It’s lit. I’m just putting it together. Shout out to a couple of great producers, like Rich Skillz, ATL [Jacob]. You know what I’m saying, people like that.”

The upcoming projet from Desiigner will mark an interesting return to the fold following his departure from G.O.O.D Music. The former Ye protegé called out the label in the past and made it clear that he wasn’t happy how things panned out, despite giving Yeezy one of his biggest songs. New Colors will certainly be one of those make-or-break moments but “PMR” is a strong indication that he’ll have a grip on the clubs.

However, Rory eventually wakes up in a bathtub fully clothed, only to realize that it was just a dream.
