DDG Addresses Rubi Rose Beef On “Way Too Petty,” Claps Back At Halle Bailey Fans Hating

The drama continues. If you thought DDG was done addressing the accusations Rubi Rose threw his way earlier this month, you’re wrong. After vehemently denying cheating on his girlfriend, Halle Bailey, the Michigan native has been regularly reminding Twitter precisely what it is that makes him such a great boyfriend. He’s made it clear that he wants to continue his relationship with the R&B starlet, though fans are becoming less and less sure they’re the perfect match.

Previously, the “Elon Musk” artist spoke about the situation in a YouTube vlog, which many viewers saw as a satisfactory explanation. Many also noted that Bailey made a brief appearance in the video, seemingly proving that their union hasn’t been tarnished as many outside spectators assume. Like any creative though, he also had to turn his pain into art, doing so in the form of a new single called “Way Too Petty” that arrived on Friday (February 24).

DDG Thinks Rubi Rose is “Way Too Petty”

Throughout his new track, DDG explicitly calls out Rose for attempting to expose him with screenshots of their alleged DMs. “Hoes screenshotting, that shit lame / Keep her on the side, she could never be my main,” he cooly rhymes. “She just wanna make it, she be f*cked for the fame / Posting pictures naked, baby, you should be ashamed.” Later on in the single, he also addresses his ex’s recent tweet about his current girlfriend wearing her old shirt.

“Tell them n*ggas do they research. I could fall off and come right back like it’s rebirth. Don’t believe the internet, it’s not that bitches t-shirt,” he cautions listeners, telling his side of the story. While her post at the time made it sound as though the Kentucky native had a problem with Bailey, she made it clear at the time that there was no beef between the two women. DDG, on the other hand, she chiefly called a “weirdo” for all of Twitter to see.

Halle Bailey Fans Come to the Rescue, DDG Responds

As the YouTuber continues to air out his drama for all of the internet to see, many of The Little Mermaid actresses’ fans are encouraging her to walk away from the relationship. “Halle get back in that sea and find another fish baby,” one Instagram user joked. “Is he trying to ruin her career?” another asked in wake of DDG’s latest controversial single. He’s clearly gotten wind of the critics and in a since-deleted tweet, he explained to them exactly why Bailey’s still standing beside him.

“‘Why tf she still fw him?’ I got a mean d*ck,” he explicitly wrote, only bringing in further backlash. As one comment on @theneighborhoodtalk’s post points out, “[DDG] is comfortable with [Halle] now and showing them true colours. Though she may have graced the ‘Gram with some new pictures to thirst over, it appears that she spent her actual Valentine’s Day with family. She shared a photo of herself with her sisters after she gifted them new cars – her older sister got a ‘23 hybrid Porsche while her younger sister got her hands on a Tesla. Halle Bailey Stands By DDG’s Side As He Addresses Rubi Rose DMs: Video

Today is Valentine’s Day, and love is definitely in the air. However, the past week has been anything but romantic for DDG and Halle Bailey. They had breakup rumours rapidly circulating the internet thanks to some telling posts from the YouTuber. As the weekend came around, things only got more dramatic when his ex, Rubi Rose, exposed him with a series of receipts.

The Kentucky native shared screenshots and recorded videos alleging that the “Elon Musk” artist hit her up last Tuesday, asking if she was in Los Angeles. Rose confirmed her location. Still, she didn’t hesitate to call out DDG for only contacting her due to his precarious situation with the R&B singer. While she was busy spilling tea on Twitter, he was in the midst of a live stream that caught his obviously angry reaction.

Rubi and her former lover continued to trade shots on social media. At one point, Blueface and Chrisean Rock were even pulled into the drama. In the midst of all the chaos, fans rode hard for Bailey. Some of them even launched a Change.org petition, demanding that she find herself a new man. Despite fans’ pleas, however, it looks like The Little Mermaid actress is standing by DDG’s side.

On Monday (February 13), the Michigan-born entertainer uploaded a new vlog to his channel. Throughout the 37-minute video, titled, “the WORST week of my life,” he markedly details some of the beef he’s been involved in lately. “I been in my cocoon. Doing my own little thing,” he tells the camera while walking through his house on crutches.

“Taking time to myself, trying to stay off the internet with all the shenanigans going on. But y’all know me deep down, and y’all know I’m a good n*gga. I always been positive, ain’t that right?” he asks a friend standing in the kitchen. “I don’t know why you folks tryna make me the devil, man!” he then yells with a smile.

“Stay away from negativity, man. It’s not 2020,” DDG also cautions viewers. “I just don’t like when people formulate opinions about me, and they don’t really know me. ‘Cuz that could be detrimental,” he goes on to say before explaining that he feels a need to clear the air about drama on social media because if he doesn’t, people will make assumptions about him that don’t align with his true persona.

According to the recording artist, having a “bad name” in the entertainment industry is a major faux pas. “Believe it or not, everything that you see on the internet isn’t true,” he then reminds subscribers. Elsewhere in the recently released vlog, cameras caught Bailey sticking by DDG. Though we don’t hear from her directly, she’s obviously at least willing to look past the social media spat to work on her relationship with the 25-year-old.

DDG’s Sister Slams Rubi Rose: “I Want All The Smoke”

There could be trouble in paradise for DDG and Halle Bailey. Over the past week, fans speculated that the couple broke up after DDG tweeted, “All these girls the same ain’t no wayy.” Then, fans realized that they split from each other. Though they later confirmed that they were still together, things took an unexpected turn when Rubi Rose leaped into the conflict. She called out Halle for apparently wearing a shirt of hers that she left with DDG before they broke up. Ultimately, this spurred a back-and-forth between DDG and Rubi Rose.

While DDG slammed Rubi Rose for her comments on Halle, the 25-year-old rapper and model shared screenshots revealing that the Michigan-born rapper slid into her DMs during a rough patch with Halle. “This is why im single,” she tweeted along with the screenshot. This ultimately led to further conflict with DDG suggesting that the DM wasn’t what it seemed. “the devil is working lol,” Halle said in response to DDG and Rubi Rose’s viral beef. “please don’t feed into the lies, especially from a third party.”

DDG’s Sister Wants All The Smoke With Rubi Rose

Just as Halle Bailey’s siblings leaped to her defense, DDG’s big sister, Tawanna Rochelle,  entered the chat. Following Rubi Rose’s numerous shots at DDG and Halle, the Pontiac-born rapper’s sister said that she’s prepared to go to war against the model. “Y’all can tell @rubirose I want all the smoke,” Rochelle wrote. Clearly, she feels some type of way about Rubi Rose’s issues with her brother but it appears that there may have been some other conflicts in the past between the “Moonwalking In Calabasas” rapper and his ex. 

“I owe that bitch an ass whoppin anyway for that shit she pulled with my mama and sister,” Rochelle stated in a subsequent tweet. Though she didn’t go into details, she made it clear that she doesn’t rock with Rubi Rose at all and is a far bigger fan of DDG’s girlfriend, Halle. “Bitches always wanna bully the sweet girls,” she added. At this point, DDG nor Rubi Rose have responded to Rochelle’s posts but it seems as though the former couple’s feud goes beyond the internet. Rubi Rose & Chrisean Rock Link Up Amid DDG Drama, Blueface Calls Them “Lame Bitches”

Aside from last night’s Super Bowl, and Rihanna’s iconic second pregnancy announcement, there have been plenty of dramatic celebrity antics lately. Firstly, we have Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s apparent breakup. Elsewhere, Halle Bailey and DDG have been surprisingly fuelling split rumours. These were only exacerbated by Rubi Rose leaking alleged DMs she received from the YouTuber.

Before the Michigan native and The Little Mermaid actress got together, he spent time with the Kentucky rap diva. They’ve obviously since gone their separate ways. However, it seems a recent fight between the two lead him to shoot his shot with his ex. On her Twitter page, Rose shared screenshots and a video of her messages from DDG. They began with him asking if she was in Los Angeles and ended with him saying he needs time to heal.

The “Elon Musk” artist was in the middle of a live stream when the 25-year-old’s tweets about him went up. His reaction was captured on camera and saw him yelling about the hatred he has for “this bitch,” or Rubi. In various posts on his own page, DDG called cap on the comments. Specifically, he told his former lover that “n*ggas ain’t pressed” over her.

As he continues to deny the drama, things have only become more interesting. The rapper’s friendship with Blueface has never been a secret, and in the past, two men and their partners, Chrisean Rock and Bailey, have even gone on double dates together. Now, though, it looks as though the Crazy In Love starlet is taking Rose’s side, as she and the “Wifey” hitmaker linked up and went live together on Instagram.

Upon seeing the clips, the “Thotiana” lyricist used Twitter to get a few things off his chest. “Leaking DMs is lame AF FR,” he began. “I knew Rock had [something] to do with that, I’m sorry @PontiacMadeDDG.” In the following posts, Blue added, “When life gives you a rock, throw that mf,” and “One lame bitch always makes two lame bitches if easily influenced.”

While Chrisean Rock has been happily cheering up Rubi Rose in the midst of her DM drama, she’s also been accused of faking her pregnancy by Blueface’s mother. Just last week, a video of the Baddies cast member in the gym with her man and a personal trainer began circulating online. In the now-viral clip, Rock deadlifts over 300 pounds, proving just how strong she really is.

Rubi Rose Exposes Alleged DMs From DDG, His Reaction Caught On Livestream

DDG may be denying that his relationship with Halle Bailey is over, but Rubi Rose has receipts that prove otherwise. Earlier this weekend, the Kentucky native caused a stir online when she seemingly threw shade at the couple on Twitter. At the time, Rose markedly shared a message about an ex of hers letting his “new bitch” wear her old clothing. Internet sleuths immediately realized that The Little Mermaid actress wore an all too familiar shirt in a recent Instagram Story, quickly pointing fingers toward her and DDG.

In another post, the “He In His Feelings” hitmaker made it known that she has no direct beef with Bailey. However, she does think the Michigan native is a “weirdo,” and she didn’t hesitate to tell him so. As a result, hundreds of his fans flooded the replies with receipts proving that Rose herself isn’t exactly innocent.

Most of the drama between DDG and his former lover played out yesterday. On Sunday (February 12) afternoon, though, Rubi added more fuel to the fire with some screenshots from her DMs. The image shows alleged messages sent to her from the YouTuber’s verified account. “[You] still in LA?” he seemingly asked her on Tuesday (February 7). “Yeah,” she replied 16 minutes later.

When Bailey’s beau asked Rose what she was doing, she wrote back, “Getting ready, hbu?” Then, in another message, called him out for reaching out to her while apparently fighting with his girl. “[You] hitting me the day y’all argue is so [you] lol.” DDG wasted no time in responding, “Lol [you] right, lemme go heal first.”

After dropping the receipts, the 25-year-old continued to speak her truth on Twitter. “All boys are the same,” she sent out this afternoon. Afterward, she clapped back at a now-deleted tweet from the Epic Records artist. “[You] so f*cking sassy wtf lol,” Rubi clowned him. “He mad I wouldn’t go home with him after Caresha’s party,” she additionally explained.

Upon seeing the latter comment, DDG vehemently denied the allegations. “Superrr [cap]. N*ggas is not pressed over you.” At this point, Rose took extra measures to prove that she didn’t alter the previous screenshot. The recording artist took a video of her creeping her ex’s profile and subsequently opening the DMs from him.

Unfortunately for the “Elon Musk” hitmaker, he was in the midst of a live stream when notifications from Rubi began pouring into his phone. Rubi Rose Calls DDG A “Weirdo,” Denies Disliking Halle Bailey

DDG is calling the internet “gullible” for believing the rumours about him and Halle Bailey ending their relationship. Despite his denial, however, the drama continues to surround the pair. Now, the rapper’s ex, Rubi Rose has entered the chat. Earlier this weekend, she seemingly called out the Michigan native for passing along one of her old shirts to his new boo.

The Little Mermaid actress recently posted a Story to her Instagram page. She wished her followers a good morning while sporting a bare face and a black and white tee. The clip’s focus is more on Bailey’s face than her outfit, but internet sleuths still quickly noticed the top is identical to one Rose previously wore in 2020. At the time, she posted a series of selfies with the caption, “I know he lying… But f*ck it I am too.”

Shortly after the R&B songstress posted her Story, DDG’s ex shared a telling message on her Twitter page. “Having [your] bitch [wear] my clothes is crazy lol,” she wrote on Saturday (February 11). Of course, followers instantly assumed the message had to be about Halle. “You coming for the little mermaid, your mentions ’bout to be a mess fr,” one person pointed out.

“She probably got that shirt off Fashion Nova just like you did, relax,” another troll chimed in. In her usual fashion, Rose didn’t hesitate to address the drama unfolding in her mentions. She firstly defended her typos in the initial tweet, explaining, “I’m still lit off the ‘migos bae, my b.” Then, in another post, made it clear that her beef is with her ex, not with his new girlfriend.

“I like Halle,” the 25-year-old confirmed in a short and sweet post. “DDG a weird tho fasho.” Unfortunately for her, fans of the YouTuber were quick to pull out receipts of movements when her behaviour was nothing short of unsavoury as well. Among them are screenshots of social media posts saying things like “DDG f*cks my p*ssy so good,” and “DDG got the best d*ck in the world.”

Those responses have received far less attention from Rose, though they continue to pour in on her page. Elsewhere online, some are taking advantage of Bailey’s breakup rumours, going so far as to create a Change.org petition demanding that she find a new man. It was officially launched earlier this week and has already received upwards of 1,600 signatures.

“Halle Bailey is black royalty and she has a childish peasant attached to her,” creator Lindsey Williams wrote in the page’s description. “We want better for our princess. Her celebrity shouldn’t be used for YouTube views and clicks. She’s unproblematic and her childish (hopefully ex-boyfriend) thought it was funny to sub her when she’s about to have the biggest year ever.”
