GloRilla Defends Her Kamala Harris Rally Performance Amid So-So Crowd Claims

GloRilla is one of many hip-hop artists who endorsed Kamala Harris in her campaign for president of the United States, which citizens will vote on tomorrow (Tuesday, November 5). In fact, she even popped out to perform at Harris’ rally in Milwaukee on Friday (November 1), offering a medley of her smash hits “TGIF,” “Yeah Glo!,” “HOLLON,” and more. But not everyone seems impressed with the live show, as some critics online posited that the crowd wasn’t really feeling it. Well, the Memphis femcee recently took to Twitter to directly combat this narrative, responding to a user who lamented the censorship of much of her lyrical material.

“GloRilla performing at Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee. She had mute every other word to make it somewhat appropriate. The crowd is CLEARLY disappointed,” a Twitter user wrote. “Da crowd was lit you trippingggggg,” she quote-tweeted in response. While it’s certainly true that we’d rather head the GLORIOUS spitter uncensored, it’s a Kamala Harris rally; what did people expect? Either way, the amount of support and acclaim she garnered online shows that these moments transcend their physical boundaries and are about something greater, much like politics themselves.

Other GloRilla fans are instead excited about her possible next career moves, including a teased collab project with Megan Thee Stallion. Whether or not this actually comes out is anyone’s guess, but there’s a lot of hope for it within their fanbases given their chemistry. It’s been a big year for Glo outside of electoral politics, dropping her debut album and a mixtape plus plenty of hot collaborations and singles. Hopefully this momentum persists into 2025, as hip-hop listeners have been bumping her hits all year.

Meanwhile, there are some Internet sleuths out there raising their eyebrows, but it’s not because of this Kamala Harris rally performance. It’s because of pregnancy rumors that GloRilla sparked during the GLORIOUS rollout, both through lyrical content and through baby bump pictures. Presumably, this could just be promo for a music video or something like that, as she sent various mixed signals on the subject. We’re sure that the near future will hold an answer.

Yesterday, Kamala Harris was joined by several special guests at her rally in Milwaukee, including Cardi B and GloRilla. Cardi delivered a speech about women’s rights, the economy, and more. She also slammed her opponent Donald Trump, referring to him as “Donny Dump.” One of the most notable moments of the evening was GloRilla’s performance, which included a medley of her hits. She performed “TGIF,” “Yeah Glo!,” “Hollon,” and more.

Her performance took place just a few days after she endorsed Harris on TikTok, sharing a few of the reasons she believes the Democratic nominee deserves her vote. “A woman’s right to choose, Protect the LGBTQIA+ Community, Funding for Public Education and $15/hr minimum wage,” she listed earlier this week.

It also took place months after Glo was given the opportunity to meet with President Joe Biden and Harris at the White House. She opened up about the experience during an interview with CNN. “It was so cool, I was geeked,” she told the outlet in March. “Everybody don’t get to meet the President and the Vice President. […] I never thought in a million years I’d be in the White House. Then, I was in the White House and got to meet the President and Vice President? I was like, ‘Now, they can’t mess with me!’”

GloRilla’s mother even weighed in at the time, making it clear how much the opportunity also meant to her. “I’ve come with being the woman with a bunch of kids, living in a blue house with no furniture in Frayser to the classiest, most beautiful, and most talented rapper of this generation’s mom who’s moved on up to a beautifully furnished house. Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris endorsed Donald Trump with a passionate speech at the former president’s rally in New York City on Sunday. In doing so, he thanked Trump for commuting his prison sentence in 2021. He was one of several celebrities Trump pardoned in the final hours of his presidency, including Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, and more.

“If it wasn’t for Donald Trump, I wouldn’t be standing here today,” he said. “So I wanna thank President Donald Trump for allowing me for stand here in front of you today. It’s a bigger story — gotta let you know about it! God spoke to his heart and Donald Trump signed with his heart my release after 33 years. God spoke to his heart.”

The endorsement comes after Trump praised Harris in a post on his Truth Social website, earlier this month. “Michael Harris (Harry O), is working hard to support and build on what my administration did for Black Americans in the first term,” Trump wrote. “Good luck to Michael and the Community First team. Working together, we will Make America Great Again for everyone!”

According to multiple reports, Beyonce is planning to attend Kamala Harris’ rally tomorrow (October 25). The rally is set to take place in the songstress’ hometown of Houston, TX. At the time of writing, it remains unclear whether she’ll perform, address the room, or simply watch the Democratic candidate deliver one of her last speeches before election day on November 5.

The DNC’s event posting for the rally has already confirmed that Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, as well as Willie Nelson, will be in attendance. This is far from the first time Beyonce has been linked to Kamala Harris, however.

Back in August, it was rumored that she’d appear at the Democratic National Convention, which didn’t end up happening. According to Billboard, some event staffers were even led to falsely believe that she was on the premises. Beyonce’s song “Freedom” has also been used heavily throughout Harris’ campaign. Over the summer, CNN confirmed that she was given direct approval from Beyonce to use the song.

Bey won’t be the first female celebrity to support Harris at a campaign event either. In July, Megan Thee Stallion also performed at her rally in Georgia. Police Arrest Man With Guns And A High Capacity Magazine Outside Donald Trump Rally In California

Authorities in Coachella Valley, California seemingly thwarted another assassination attempt on Donald Trump after arresting a man allegedly found to be carrying multiple guns and a high-capacity magazine outside of his rally over the weekend. They charged him with possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco discussed the arrest at a press conference on Sunday. “The way it worked yesterday is only people that were allowed inside the perimeter, the outside perimeter, inside a vehicle was if you lived there or if you had documentation that said you were going to this rally,” Bianco said, as noted by CBS. He further explained that Miller “gave all indications that he belonged there,” but authorities noticed his car was in disarray. They searched his vehicle and found him to be “illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.”

He further described Miller as a “lunatic” and an alleged member of Sovereign Citizens. “They are certainly considered a far-right group,” Bianco said of the organization. “I wouldn’t say it’s a militant group. It’s just a group that doesn’t believe in government and government control.” He added that he believes Miller intended to commit an assassination attempt on the former president.

As for whether he will face federal charges, the United States Attorney’s Office said in a statement caught by CBS: “The U.S. Secret Service assesses that the incident did not impact protective operations and former President Trump was not in any danger. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs, and another who was fist pumping after getting shot.” From there, he led the crowd in a “Fight! Fight! Fight!” chant and discussed the importance of the election. “Yeah, absolutely. And I think this, this, this election, I think the most important election of our lifetime, this is — this is no ordinary election,” he said.

During his speech at the rally in Pennsylvania, Trump ranted about the New York Times while labeling journalists the “enemy of the people,” called out “Comrade Kamala [Harris],” and “Tampon Tim [Walz],” and more. And I think it’s absolute bulls***.” She continued: “I think that people in general just wanna know the policies. Donald Trump Shooter Spotted Crawling On Roof Before Firing At The Former President

More disturbing footage and accounts continue to emerge from the assassination attempt against Donald Trump at his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday (July 13). A new clip going viral online shows how the shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, crawled onto the roof of a building just outside of the rally’s perimeter, with attendees seemingly attempting to notify law enforcement of their suspicions. It’s a very harrowing and dark moment to witness, so viewer discretion is advised for the clip below. This adds onto the rampant search for more information on this attack, which left a rally-goer dead and two more injured.

As for Crooks, Trump’s attempted assassin was shot and killed within a minute of him firing his AR-15 from about 130 yards away. In addition, once information emerged about his identity and background, more folks and media publications came forward with details. One recent alleged report from The New York Post claims that Crooks’ high school rifle team rejected him, due partially to his poor accuracy. However, other supposed testimonies painted him as a bullied outcast who had odd interactions with his fellow schoolmates, coaches, and teachers.

In addition to all this, Trump’s shooting caused a lot of debate when it comes to his presidential bid against incumbent Joe Biden, and around folks who vehemently oppose the former and convicted president politically. For example, DJ Akademiks recently blasted Amanda Seales for suggesting that Trump’s team staged all this. “Some of y’all are so into whatever political view y’all have, y’all dismiss reality,” he remarked. “B***h, wake up. There’s a f***ing whole investigation by the FBI outside in Butler. Drive over there and go see if they’re investigating staged s**t.”

Elsewhere in the hip-hop world, a lot of rappers clowned the former president for this or made light of the situation despite their sympathy. On the other hand, many of Trump’s MC supporters stood up to defend him amid others wanting to take this chance to criticize him. One of these defenders is Kodak Black, who recently clapped back at Plies’ takedown of No. 45. We’ll see how this debacle continues to spiral…

Fat Joe & E-40 Support Joe Biden At Rally In North Carolina After Brutal Debate Performance

Despite coming off of a now-infamous debate performance against Donald Trump, President Joe Biden was able to land appearances from two legendary rappers during a rally in North Carolina on Friday. Both Fat Joe and E-40 performed at the event, during which Biden attempted to restore confidence in Democratic voters.

Taking over the stage, Joe performed his hit song, “All The Way Up,” and reminded the audience of the importance of healthcare transparency while encouraging them to vote for Biden. E-40, on the other hand, performed the iconic, “Tell Me When to Go,” to get the crowd excited.

As for Biden, he attempted to convince his base that concerns about his health are unfounded. “I know I’m not a young man — state the obvious,” Biden said during the event. “Folks, I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth.” He added: “Folks, I give you my word as a Biden I wouldn’t be running again if I didn’t believe with all my heart and soul I can do this job. Because quite frankly the stakes are too high.”

The concerns for the incumbent candidate began immediately after the start of his debate against former president Donald Trump, earlier in the week. He slurred his words and appeared confused throughout the night. Regardless, he still intends to participate in the second debate later this summer.
