Yamê

When Yamê released the COLORS version of his single “Bécane” on June 1, 2023, he took the world by surprise. The French-Cameroonian rapper is relatively new to the scene and released his debut mixtape, Bantu Mixtape Vol. 1 in 2020. However, he’s no musical novice, and his big break was inevitable. That breakthrough came with “Bécane,” which he quickly followed with his debut album ELOWI (2023). Since his 2020 debut, the rapper has released several singles, as well as a second mixtape. You should definitely check out his growing catalog.

Niska

With five studio albums to his name, Niska is certainly not a newcomer in the French rap scene. He debuted in 2015 with Charo Life, and since then, has made a name for himself. His discography is filled with many hit songs, including “Médicament” and “Du lundi au lundi.” However, his biggest song to date is the SNEP Diamond-certified single, “Réseaux” (2017).

Bu$hi

On December 13, 2017, Bu$hi released “La la,” a collaborative single with fellow French rap artist Jorrdee. Since then, he has released many more singles, both solo and with features. Additionally, the rapper has dropped four impressive solo studio albums: Bushi (2020), Bushi 1.5 (2020), Bushi Tape 2 (2022), and Interlude (2022). As aforementioned, his most recent offering is a collab with Quavo, who recently appeared on Kanye’s Vultures 1, titled “What We Doing!? / Qu’est-ce qu’on fait!?” Bu$hi is a fast-rising act in French rap right now, and you should definitely look out for him.

Kalash Criminel

This balaclava-wearing French-Congolese rapper broke into the scene with R.A.S in 2016. The album contains “Arrêt du cœur,” the standout track that launched his career. Despite the passage of time, the song continues to contribute to his success. Kalash Criminel is one of the most exciting acts in French rap right now. Altogether, he has released four solo studio albums so far, and is primed to take over the world.

Maes

Maes is a 29-year-old French rapper of Moroccan origin. In 2017, he introduced himself to fans of French rap with his debut mixtape, Réelle Vie. Since then, he has released two more volumes of Reélle Vie (2.0 and 3.0), and many singles. In addition, the rapper has three albums to his name, including Pure (2018), Les derniers salopards (2020), and Omerta (2023). Some of his standout tracks are “Madrina” ft. Booba, “Fetty Wap,” and “Galactic.”

Quavo Bounces Back On His Latest Solo Single, Proving He’s ‘Himothy’

For the past year or so, the internet’s favorite go-to term for praising a master of any given craft has been “him.” Watch a basketball player put up an effortless 30-point game. He’s him. An award-winning actor gives a generational, culture-changing performance in a film role. He’s him. A rapper who delivers a verse that blows all others out of the water, stealing not only the spotlight but also the social media discourse for days at a time? He’s him. This term can also be embellished in all sorts of ways, including turning “him” into “Himothy” — which is, incidentally, the title of Quavo’s latest solo single.

The lyrics clearly demonstrate why Quavo feels so confident. “I told the gang we gon’ eat forever /I’ll never let ’em starve to death / Quavo how you manifestin’ / Cuz I’m HIM in the flesh,” he raps over a rumbling Budda Beats production.

The song is Quavo’s first new solo single since releasing Rocket Power last August. The Atlanta rapper hasn’t announced a new project yet, but it sounds like it will probably be another solo album, despite him apparently patching things up with fellow former Migo Offset in the wake of their bandmate Takeoff’s death in 2022.

Quavo Labels Himself As “Himothy” On Latest Single

While the Migos are not really together anymore, Quavo and Offset and trying to carry the torch by going solo. Last year, both dropped their sophomore LPs with Quavo going first with his tribute to Takeoff, Rocket Power. Then, a month later, Offset would follow that offering up with SET IT OFF. Both did well amongst the fans and now Quavo is looking to have another solid year in 2024 with “Himothy.”

While he was taken off Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s “FUK SUMN” to the fans dismay, he did still land on VULTURES 1 with “PAPERWORK.” After that Quavo and Travis Scott were getting the fans amped after they teased a new collaboration together at a Super Bowl bonanza. Hopefully, this is a sign of Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho‘s sequel. In the meantime, Quavo is here with a new solo release “Himothy.”

Listen To “Himothy” By Quavo

“Himothy” is a popular term with the Generation Alpha kids. It de when you feel like you are really good at something. That is how Quavo is feeling when it comes to how successful he is in the rap game. He does bring a lot of energy to the track. However, there is a message in the lyrics to take note of. It appears that he presumably wants the media and others in general, to drop anything surrounding Takeoff. Unfortunately for Quavo, that might not ever happen, especially with social media. But for what it is worth, HNHH continues to send our best wishes to the Migos and their closest family and friends.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Himothy,” by Quavo? Is this his best solo single in the last year or so, why or why not? Does he need to drop another solo album this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Quavo. Y’all n****s outside tellin’ on somethin’, makin’ citizens arrest (Woo)
I told the gang “We gon’ eat forever”, I’ll never let ’em starve to death (Forevеr)
Quavo, how you manifest?, ’cause I’m him in the flеsh (Him)
In the same breath, I can show ’em how to scam American Express (Swipe)
I’m tired of you talkin’ ’bout him (I’m tired), please, let my nephew rest (Please)

Quavo Returns with New Single "Himothy"

Quavo has unveiled his first track of the year titled “HIMOTHY.” With his signature swagger, Quavo navigates the track’s orchestral melody and booming 808 bass, showcasing why he’s regarded as one of the most dynamic artists in the rap game.

Teasing fans earlier in the week on Instagram, Quavo hinted at the impending release of new music, culminating in the drop of “HIMOTHY.” This follows a stellar 2023 for the QC megastar, which saw the release of his highly acclaimed second solo studio album, Rocket Power, in August.

Travis Scott & Quavo Perform At Fanatics Super Bowl Party: Watch

Quavo and Travis Scott were among many stars at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl party on Saturday (February 10). Then even performed their smash hit “pick up the phone” with Young Thug together, and it looks like everyone present had a great time. Of course, this is far from the first time that these two link up together for a show or for a special appearance; they have a collab album, after all. For example, La Flame recently brought the former Migo out at his Miami concert during his CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour, and to no one’s surprise, they absolutely rocked the crowd.

In fact, this record of collabs and joint concerts isn’t restricted to just concerts or parties, but also more official and philanthropic fare. Travis Scott and Quavo hit the stage at Jay-Z’s blackjack tournament, in partnership with Michael Rubin for the REFORM Alliance. Lil Baby also joined the festivities, and it shows how folks are combining a lot of entertainment elements when hosting events or activities like these. It’s nice to see this balance play out, especially in an environment where artists are already having fun to begin with.

Quavo & Travis Scott “pick up the phone” Ringing At Fanatics Super Bowl Party: Watch

Meanwhile, their aforementioned team-up tape, 2017’s Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, is still a pretty beloved release among hip-hop fans. Sure, it’s not Watch The Throne, but a lot of fans would love it if they reunite on wax more often… which might be a solid chance. Moreover, Quavo recently celebrated the success of this first installment and teased another joint effort with Travis Scott. Considering bangers like “Motorcycle Patches,” “Modern Slavery,” “How U Feel,” and more, we can only imagine it’ll be similarly full of jams.

As far as recent activity, both MCs featured on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new album Vultures. The Houston artist appears on “Fuk Sumn,” whereas Huncho shows up on “Paperwork.” What did you think of their contributions? Let us know in the comments section down below. Also, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Travis Scott and Quavo.

Lana Del Rey And Quavo Sparked Dating Rumors, And Quavo Had A Playful Response To The Speculation

Lana Del Rey Grammys 2024

Lana Del Rey was Taylor Swift’s plus-one on the red carpet at the 2024 Grammys on Sunday night, February 4, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. But some people were more interested in Del Rey’s company while hitting up a pre-Grammys party on Saturday night, February 3.

Del Rey and Quavo were photographed showing up together, as per Entertainment Tonight and The Daily Mail. Photos from various sources quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), and some people noticed that Quavo recently followed Del Rey on Instagram.

Paparazzi from The Hollywood Curtain went ahead and abrasively asked Del Rey and Quavo, “Are you guys dating?” Both laughed — scoffed, really. It sounds like someone in the entourage clarified they were just “friends, man” before Quavo said, “We having hits,” which (obviously) indicates they are spending time together for musical purposes — not romantically. Let the collaboration rumors commence.

At the Billboard and NMPA Songwriter Awards on January 31, Del Rey confirmed her next album, Lasso, is due out in September.

“If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country,” she said, as per Billboard. “We’re going country. It’s happening. That’s why Jack [Antonoff] has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

As for her personal life, Del Rey told Harper’s Bazaar last fall, “I’m definitely not in love right now. No. Absolutely not in love. Have been, but no.” It was previously reported by Billboard last March that Del Rey had gotten engaged to Evan Winiker.

Quavo last released Rocket Power in August 2023 and has most recently at the center of dating rumors involving Chlöe, though it seems those were only rumors. Quavo dated Saweetie for over two years before their very public split in early 2021.

Kanye West Hints Quavo & Rich The Kid Collab Is On The Way

Kanye West may be in a lot of public hot water right now, but that hasn’t stopped collaborations from coming his way. What’s more is that, with how cryptic and frankly misleading his movement tends to be, these could sprout up out of nowhere and be dismissed within a few hours. In this instance, speculation around a new team-up stems from the Chicago artist’s recent Instagram Story post about another rap duo. Quavo and Rich The Kid spent their time at an Atlanta Hawks game filming a music video, and Ye reposted this clip on the social media platform. As such, fans theorize that he could hop on whatever this video is for.

Of course, this is all just part of the rumor mill right now, and it’s likely that Kanye West just wants to shout some rappers out. In fact, Quavo supposedly features multiple times on his Ty Dolla $ign collab album Vultures, whose first volume reportedly got a tracklist revision. Furthermore, the former Migo appears on “F**k Sumn” with Playboi Carti and “Back To Me” with Freddie Gibbs, or at least he did on previewed versions of these songs. As is typical with a Yeezy rollout, we can’t really say anything is set in stone until it’s released, and even then, folks could edit and revamp elements as proven with 2016’s The Life Of Pablo.

Kanye West Reposts Quavo & Rich The Kid Filming Music Video

However, with all these previews, premieres, and more potential collabs on the way, this means it’s hard to find surprises these days. Leak culture sees Kanye West tracks as the cream of the crop, and he’s well-aware of how many people release his material without permission. Recently, he confronted one of these leakers via Instagram, and it was curious to see given his leak history. Some of the 46-year-old’s scrapped albums and fan-favorite unreleased tracks still made a massive impact on many rap fans out there.

Meanwhile, his recent appearance during Travis Scott’s tour sent concertgoers into an absolute frenzy. The “Jail” provocateur has a lot to atone for, but his listeners remain loyal for better or worse. We’ll see if a collab with these two MCs includes any progress in this regard. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, Rich The Kid, and Quavo, check back in with HNHH.

Quavo Teams with Sazerac to Introduce White X Cognac

1960539521

Grammy-nominated artist and entrepreneur Quavo, in collaboration with global spirits company Sazerac, unveils White X Cognac, a fresh and modern addition to the cognac scene.

White X is set to become one of the first and only white cognacs available in the United States, aiming to redefine the category and make the spirit accessible to a broader audience. The initial release of 100 bottles will be exclusively offered through online retailer BlockBar starting on February 7 at 10 AM EST, each priced at $60 and presented in a limited-edition box.

“What I love about White X is that it’s an entirely different drink experience than any other type of cognac,” said Quavo. “I’m a big believer in challenging the status quo, and I think that’s the role of white cognac. White X is for those who aren’t afraid to shake things up, put in the work and celebrate their accomplishments. This is the drink they’ve been waiting for. Neat or in a cocktail, White X is smooth and sippable – a reward for the hustle.”

White X, with its clear and golden straw color, promises a smooth and sweet experience with rich flavors. It features delicate yet lingering notes of white and yellow peaches, elegant vanilla, and a hint of dried rose petals. The palate offers gentle white stone fruit, creamy vanilla, and subtle tannins without bitterness, culminating in a smooth and long finish.

“White X challenges the traditional cognac category with its fresh and light taste – it’s a total departure from many pre-conceived perceptions about cognac overall,” said Global Cognac Brand Director at Sazerac, Jess Scheerhorn. “Quavo’s electrifying style and willingness to break down barriers makes him the perfect fit to help us debut this brand.”

Following the BlockBar sale, White X takeovers will commence in Atlanta, with subsequent launches in Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, and Dallas, before a nationwide release in June 2024. For more details, follow @WhiteXCognac on Instagram and visit whitexcognac.com.
