Quavo just took to Instagram to tease a new song, and took some time to honor his fallen nephewTakeoff in the process. Moreover, he posted a black-and-white picture of what seems to be a music video shoot, as you can see a rig and some cameras in the right corner of the snapshot. However, it could also be the single cover art. Regardless, the Atlanta rapper looks somber in a fuzzy coat while smoking in front of a truck. Furthermore, he captioned the post with presumably the song’s title. “Honey Bun Friday! #ForTake,” he wrote.
This announcement follows the Migos member’s previous single “Greatness,” on which he addressed the iconic rap group’s future. Without Take, he says in the song, the group is no more and isn’t coming back. However, he didn’t explicitly mention remaining member Offset in the track, so we don’t know for sure if their rocky relationship also primarily motivated him to bring the trio to an end. Still, many fans caught potential disses via subliminal lines on the song, and the context is hard to ignore.
Quavo’s Dropping A New Song Soon, Honors Takeoff In Post
Despite the falling out that Quavo and Offset experienced some months before their partner’s loss, it’s not something that he brought publicly into the fold. Moreover, a lot of their falling out and the details of their feud were mostly speculated online given some indirect comments and their public movement. As such, Huncho’s always put that to the side as has Offset, who hasn’t given a lot of public statements directly addressing his cousin. Furthermore, Quavo instead focused on honoring Takeoff’s untimely passing through statements, personal grieving, and probably uniting with his family.
Meanwhile, the most significant public tribute that Unc gave Phew was his track “Without You,” which is completely dedicated to the Rocket’s memory. Not only that, but he also performed the track at this year’s Grammys ceremony, which made for a heartfelt, powerful, heartbreaking, but also cathartic moment. He still watches over the rap game, and it’s that love, determination, and connection that will continue to support the Migo on his artistic journey. Hopefully one day him and Offset can reconcile in the public eye, or at least find personal closure in healing from this tragedy. Let us know if you’re looking forward to more music from the “Bars Into Captions” MC and return to HNHH for the latest on Quavo.
Offset shared a snippet of new unreleased music featuring his late cousin and fellow Migos rapper, Takeoff. This follows after Offset’s continued efforts to honor the late rapper since his death in November 2022. Atlanta rapper Offset shared a snippet of new music on his social media accounts that feature a new posthumous verse from […]
Rapper Quavo has earned his spot in the hip-hop textbooks for having one of the smoothest flows in the game. As a former member of the rap rap trio Migos, he, along with his former groupmates, has been credited as a formative force behind the now-thriving Atlanta rap sound. Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz have also been deemed pioneers for a cultural wave in Atlanta’s music history.
The “Greatness” rapper’s appearance on NBC’s latest music show, That’s My Jam, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, put his buttery smooth flow skills to the test. Quavo was prompted to perform a hilarious cover of Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz’s classic song “Get Low,” however, due to the rules of the Nonsense Karaoke segment, all of the song’s lyrics were changed.
Swapping out the beloved chorus for, “Pickle brine / Taste like wine / Straightening my teeth with Invisalign / Jello, Jello, Jello, Jello, Jello, Jello / I bought a Kindle at the mall / Belly flop’d Niagara falls / Read a book opened by Roald Dahl,” the musician didn’t miss a beat.
As an Atlanta native that grew up hearing the song and a successful rapper in his own right, it probably wasn’t as difficult as it may have seemed. But nonetheless, the Hunco knocked it out of the park.

Eladio Carrión is ready to make Latin trap global with his new album 3MEN2 KBRN. After solidifying himself as one Latin music’s leading rappers, he proves that his knockout flow can hold up alongside the icons of American hip-hop. Carrión’s latest LP includes features from Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Migos’ Quavo, and Future.
Carrión has set himself apart from other Latin rappers thanks to his bicultural influences. He grew up living his life between the states and Puerto Rico. Throughout his career, Carrión has teamed up with Latin superstars like J Balvin, Rauw Alejandro, Arcángel, Bizarrap, and Karol G. He broke through in 2019 thanks to Latin Grammy-nominated hit “Kemba Walker” featuring Bad Bunny.
Like his Walker tribute, Carrión continues to salute sports superstars who inspire him like with the fierce “Mbappé” remix featuring Future. He also teams up once again with Bad Bunny in the swaggering “Coco Chanel.” 3MEN2 KBRN is Carrión unleashing his full force as a Latin trap star alongside his idols and close friends.
“As a kid, growing up, listening to these artists, and now collaborating with them, it’s a dream!” Carrión says about his album’s all-star ensemble.
In April, Carrión will be performing at both weekends of Coachella. That will lead up to his Sauce USA Tour, which kicks off in May. Over Zoom, Carrión caught up with Uproxx about his latest LP, the mind-blowing collaborations, and hitting the road in our latest Q&A.
What was the experience like to blend the Latin and English rap worlds on your album 3MEN2 KBRN?
I just keep trying to build that bridge between Latin and American culture because I’ve been influenced so much by American hip-hop, but you know I do Latin music. It’s just that: making that connection stronger.
How did the “Gladiador” remix with Lil Wayne come together?
Bro, I manifested the sh*t out of that. Ever since I made the track, I always said, “I’m going to drop it, but if Wayne wants to hop on it, I’m doing the ‘Gladiador’ remix any time he wants to jump on.” Thank God, he got on it for the album. It was perfect.
What did you think when Lil Wayne was down to team up with you?
That’s my favorite rapper! He’s the reason why I go hard on this so much with my punchlines. He’s the reason why I’m picky with my bars. “Gladiador” is one of my favorite intros that I’ve done in my life. Just having him on that song specifically and knowing that it was meant for him and that he liked it. That he heard it and said, “Oh sh*t!” It’s a very big thing for me. He was amazing!
What was the experience like to work with Future on the “Mbappé” remix?
We met in Miami. We linked up over there. We talked for awhile. I had to go back in the studio to do my stuff and that’s when he killed it in his studio and recorded it. And we did the video the next day. It was dope! We closed out [Bad Bunny’s restaurant] Gekkō. There were a lot of people there. It was super cool.
What did you think when 50 Cent decided to feature on the song “Si Salimos”?
I couldn’t even believe it! 50 doesn’t record with anyone. He’s on his producer vibe right now. For him to take time out of his day to really kill that track — because he killed it — it means the world to me.
After years of grinding in the music industry, how do you feel to have an album with your idols on it?
That’s where you have to keep on grinding. That’s where the grinding gets harder. I’m just ready for more work. I’m going to keep on upping the bar.
What was the experience like to reunite with Bad Bunny for the song “Coco Chanel”?
It was cool! I went to LA. We met up. We were locked in for a couple of days. It was just cool to keep up with him because he’s a very busy person. I’m very busy too. To have a couple of days to sit down to talk and just make music, it was super dope to put something out with him again.
By having Quavo and Rich The Kid with yourself and Ñengo Flow on “Peso A Peso,” you’re definitely bringing the worlds of Latin and English rap together.
I think that’s one of the songs that people are going to most like because beat-wise and just how Quavo killed it too. He spoke Spanish. Rich spoke Spanish too. Ñengo killed it! I think that’s going to be one of the easiest songs for both the Latin side and American side to digest because the beat sounds kind of Latin and trap. It’s going to be one of the biggest hits of the album.
How do you feel to be performing at Coachella this year?
I feel amazing! For them to consider me, to go there off of Latin hip-hop, it’s a big thing. People who usually go there are more like pop singers. Just to be like an underground artist, to go there, it’s amazing.
What can we expect from your performances at Coachella and your upcoming US tour?
A lot of me sweating [and] jumping around. Maybe jumping into the crowd. Having people jump into the crowd. Just mosh pits. Just trap sh*t. A crazy light show. I always give it my all. My fans don’t expect me to do less, so I got to bring my A-game every day.
Bad Bunny is one of the headliners at Coachella this year. Is there a chance that we could see you two on the stage together?
Hey, you never know in Coachella! You never know.
What do you want to accomplish next?
Just get better at everything I do. Keep on practicing my art. Keep on going to the studio. Keep on writing songs and focus on tours to give my fans a good show.

Saweetie and Quavo, two of the biggest names in hip-hop, have had an exciting relationship. The couple has been the subject of much speculation and fascination, from their early days of dating to their highly publicized breakup. The fans cannot get enough. This article will deeply dive into the couples entire relationship timeline.
Early Days of Dating (2018)
The rumors of Saweetie and Quavo’s relationship were swirling in the fall of 2018 when the two were seen together on multiple occasions. The couple was spotted together in September at New York Fashion Week. They were later seen together at a nightclub in Atlanta later that month.
During springtime, Saweetie and Quavo made their relationship official by attending the 2019 Grammy Award. The couple walked the red carpet hand-in-hand and posed for photos together. During the event, the rapper was also kissing Saweetie on the cheek, confirming their relationship with the public.
During springtime, Saweetie and Quavo made their relationship official by attending the 2019 Grammy Award. Later on in June, the couple was featured on the cover of GQ magazine, where they talked about their relationship and how they first met. According to Saweetie, Quavo had slid into her DMs on Instagram after seeing her on the explore page. The couple then began talking and eventually started dating. Still together in September, the duo celebrated their first anniversary with a romantic trip to New York City. Finally, Saweetie shared a photo of the couple on Instagram and the caption, “Cheers to 1 year of shenanigans, travel, and love. I’m grateful for you every day.”
Breakup Rumors (2020)
In March 2020, rumors started circulating that the pair had broken up. The words were fueled by the fact that the couple had unfollowed each other on social media. However, the couple quickly put those rumors to rest by posting a TikTok video together, where they recreated a scene from the movie “The Lion King.” In April 2020, the couple made headlines again when Saweetie appeared on an episode of “The Quibi Show” and was asked about the most romantic thing Quavo had ever done for her. She revealed that Quavo had surprised her with a custom-made Birkin bag filled with money. The couple then shared a video of the surprise on Instagram, confirming they were still together.
Saweetie And Quavo Split (2021)
In March 2021, Saweetie announced on Twitter that she and Quavo had broken up. She wrote, “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
Quavo responded to Saweetie’s tweet with a message of his own. He wrote, “I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel like the internet and the blogs and the publications made it bigger than what it was.”
The breakup’s aftermath was messy, with both making public statements about their relationship. However, by May 2021, it seemed like the dust had settled. Saweetie told People magazine that she was healing and focusing on herself.
Reconciliation (2021- 2022)
Rumors of a possible reconciliation surfaced in November 2021 when the couple was first spotted spending time together and working on their relationship. Later on, in January 2022, Saweetie and Quavo fueled reconciliation rumors when they were again spotted on a date in New York City. The couple was seen leaving a restaurant together, and fans couldn’t help but speculate that they had gotten back together. However, by March 2022, it was clear that Saweetie and Quavo had indeed reconciled. They made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 Grammys, and Saweetie wore a stunning green gown while Quavo looked dapper in a black suit.
Saweetie and Quavo are still going strong (2023)
As of February 2023, Saweetie and Quavo are still going strong. They have been spotted on numerous dates and have shared pictures of each other on social media. They have put their past issues behind them and are focused on building a happy and healthy relationship.
Overall, Saweetie and Quavo’s relationship has had ups and downs over the past few years. However, they have worked through their issues and are committed to improving their relationship. Fans can’t wait to see what the future holds for this power couple.
For the most part, Quavo’s remained under the radar since the tragic loss of his nephew Takeoff. In recent weeks, the rapper began to pop out a bit more including a performance at the Grammy’s where he paid homage to Take. However, the murder investigation surrounding Takeoff’s death seems stagnant. Over the past few months, there hasn’t been many updates with the exception of J. Prince’s media run to clear his family’s name.
Though the police arrested a man they believed to be the gunman in the incident, they also said that not many witnesses are willing to talk. A few people have stepped forward, such as Migos Bands, with information but Quavo doesn’t seem to be one of them. According to 600 Breezy, the Migos rapper faces a predicament between trying to secure a conviction against the man who murdered his nephew or facing the repercussions in his career that come with the stigma of cooperating with law enforcement.
600 Breezy Doubts Quavo Will Snitch
During a recent interview with Vlad TV, 600 Breezy explained that things have taken a few unexpected turns since Take’s death. Breezy said that it’s expected that Quavo and Takeoff’s security issued a police statement since he’s basically staff. However, he said that he doesn’t think Quavo will speak on the matter. “It’d be different if Quavo was cooperating,” he explained, while Vlad said that it’s still a possibility. “I doubt it. I doubt one bit that Quavo will get on the stand and say anything that’ll make people say, ‘Oh, Quavo a snitch.’”
Vlad said that Takeoff was Quavo’s nephew, which would mean his perspective on the matter is different. “For the sake of his career and all that shit… His nephew dead and gone. Nothing he could do to bring him back,” Breezy continued. “He wouldn’t do that to himself. If Quavo sat there and took the stand to say anything about that situation, he got the snitch jacket on him now.” Check out 600Breezy’s comments above. Do you think Quavo would still have a career if he took the stand? Let us know in the comment section below.
While plenty of attention has been rightly heaped upon Halle Bailey for her role in the upcoming Little Mermaid remake lately, her sister Chlöe is also building her filmography — albeit, via some lower-profile releases. One of those releases is Praise This, a musical comedy coming to Peacock in April. Chlöe just shared the first trailer for the film on social media, and it looks like the perfect vehicle to show off her acting and singing chops at the same time.
According to Deadline, its studio, Universal Pictures, is apparently hoping for Pitch Perfect-esque franchise potential, and judging from the trailer, it certainly appears that the acapella comedy’s DNA is part of the genetic makeup of Praise This, along with a dash of Chlöe’s mentor Beyoncé’s own gospel-based musical comedy, Fighting Temptation.
Per Collider, Bailey will portray Sam, an aspiring singer who gets shipped off to Atlanta to live with her cousin Jess, played by Anjelika Washington. There, she joins Jess’s praise team as they prepare for a singing competition. The cast also includes comedian Druski and The Wire alum Tristan “Mack” Wilds. There’s also a cameo appearance by Quavo.
Praise This is coming to Peacock on April 7, 2023. You can watch the trailer above.
Quavo and Offset both went to watch the Atlanta Hawks game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday (March 3), but sat separately. Of course, this reflects the two’s falling out, which affected the Migos since last year amid Quavo and Takeoff forming their own duo. Moreover, both went to the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and it looks like they sat courtside in different sections. Furthermore, the most recent chapter in Migos’ saga was Quavo’s track “Greatness,” in which he suggested the group would be no more.
Unfortunately, any issues within the group fell under the shadow of Takeoff’s tragic loss last November. In the months following his death, many close to the late rapper including his group co-members embroiled in back-and-forth fights surrounding his passing. For example, Offset got into a spat with J. Prince over loyalty, accusations of leaking information, and how they handled the loss. While the group’s conflicts defined the final stages of their career, it’s unfortunate that these wounds seem harder to heal than ever. In fact, some reports indicate that the two surviving members of the legendary rap crew confronted each other face-to-face about Takeoff’s absence.
Quavo & Offset Sit Separately At Atlanta Hawks Game
Furthermore, the two got into an alleged brawl backstage at the Grammys after Quavo reportedly didn’t allow Offset to join him for his tribute to Takeoff. Moreover, the former performed his tribute track “Without You” during the “In Memoriam” segment. However, the latter denied such claims of a fight via Twitter, seemingly shutting down false reports. Still, alleged audio leaked of Cardi B, wife of Offset, trying to break the two apart during their reported spat.
Meanwhile, Offset’s probably busy handling backlash from McDonald’s franchises refusing to promote his Cardi B combo meal. Various locations said that there values do not align with those of the two artists, which in itself caught a lot of flack online. On the other hand, Quavo’s remained relatively quiet beyond the aforementioned track “Greatness” and his tributes to his fallen nephew. Hopefully the two can reconcile one day and keep honoring Takeoff together. With that in mind, stick around on HNHH for the latest news on Quavo and Offset.

On “Greatness,” the former Migos member addressed the gossip regarding the future of the rap group. He makes it clear that without his partner in rhyme, he and Offset couldn’t go on. Still, we do hope to see the family members put aside their differences and make music together in the future.
Chicago’s G Herbo shared his latest, “Raining” on Friday. The father of three chiefly worked with Murda Beatz for the single’s fire production. Additionally, he recruited Yung Bleu to put his R&B magic touch on the track as he prepares to drop off his next album in the coming weeks.

As for the latter, the California native has fans buzzing thanks to yet another collaboration with NBA YoungBoy. After connecting on the Louisana native’s Gangsta Grillz tape last October, they came together once again for “Shmunk.” Additionally, from Key Glock’s highly anticipated Glockoma 2 tape, we picked “Dirt” for your streaming pleasure.
Our final two fire picks of the week are EST Gee’s latest, “Undefeated,” as well as a link-up between Conway the Machine, Sauce Walka, and Juicy J. The trio celebrated the NFL Championship earlier this month with “Super Bowl,” a nearly four-minute-long banger that’s sure to satisfy fans.
