Doja Cat’s Paris Fashion Week Style Choices Continue To Entertain Fans

The queen of this season’s Paris Fashion Week? Doja Cat, no question about it! In the past, recording artists like Coi Leray and Cardi B had the privilege of sitting in the front row. This time, though, the Planet Her singer is having her moment in the spotlight.

In her usual fashion, the 27-year-old kicked things off with a dramatic flair at the Schiaparelli couture show. For that, she donned over 30,000 Swarovski crystals all over her body and sat beside Kylie Jenner. The reality star’s animalistic outfit also made headlines.

As Page Six notes, some social media users clowned Doja for not adding false eyelashes to her red ensemble. Ever the comedian, while attending the Viktor & Rolf show, she opted to stick fake eyelashes on her brows. They also appeared on her upper lip, and chin, mimicking facial hair.

That certainly earned a few laughs, but by Wednesday (January 25), the California native was ready to prove that she can still pull off glamorous looks too. For the Valentino Haute Couture runway, she stepped out in a long black trench coat. This was worn over a miniskirt and bra top in the same colour.

Rather than her usual bald head, Doja rocked a long black wig with straight across bangs. The outfit was far more toned down than others we’ve seen her in this week. However, her purse undeniably brings an element of drama to the otherwise neutral look.

The Chris Habana-designed bag is reportedly worth $20,000 and was 3D-printed to match the exact measurements of the “Say So” singer’s own hand. It can be worn as a glove or carried as a purse, and is covered in approximately 1,000 Swarovski crystals. Additionally, you’ll find 3,000 pearls and hand-painted gold fingernails to mimic a manicure.

In the iconic accessory’s hand sits a $179 bottle of Patrón El Alto tequila.

Doja’s stylist and creative director, Brett Alan Nelson, spoke about the outfit in a press release. “I always love some sort of organic gag. Nothing that feels forced but seamless to who Doja is as a person and as an artist,” he explained.

“My girl loves a tequila cocktail, so taking the idea of this couture-level bottle of Patrón El Alto to Paris but making it an accessory that doesn’t leave her side… I reached out to Chris Habana. I told him I wanted something that felt like it was off the Paris runway for couture but I wanted it to have a bit of a surrealist vibe to it.”

Before she got everyone talking with her unique outfits at Paris Fashion Week, last year, Doja Cat kept all eyes on her with some out-of-the-box eyebrow looks.

Doja Cat Wears Fake Eyelashes As A Mustache At Paris Fashion Week

After nearly breaking the internet earlier this week with her first Paris Fashion Week look, Doja Cat is back. The Hot Pink hitmaker stunned the globe after appearing in red body paint and 30,000 Swarovski crystals. The look was reportedly designed by Daniel Roseberry with makeup by Pat McGrath, and it was said to have taken five hours to complete.

If that wasn’t enough, she returned to social media today (January 25) with another show-stopper. This time, Doja decided to do a little experimenting with false eyelashes.

Doja attended the Viktor & Rolf Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture show dressed in a suit, glasses, and falsies on her face. She recently shaved her eyebrows and replaced them with lashes, also adding the accessory as a mustache.

“If lashes are all you want, the lashes you will get,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

It’s unclear what inspired Doja’s latest look, but she’s known for pushing against trends with eye-catching styles.

Kylie Jenner’s Givenchy Noose Necklace Earns Her Significant Backlash

Unfortunately for the Kardashian-Jenner family, it often feels as though they can’t go a day without being criticized. Seeing as they have a large family, most of whom specifically choose to spend their time in the public eye, it’s not exactly surprising. After so much criticism in past years, though, you’d think they’d stop repeating the same mistakes. Most recently, the youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, is facing significant backlash for some of her Paris Fashion Week outfit choices.

Firstly, the internet has been having a field day with the makeup mogul’s animalistic outfit for the Schiaparelli couture show. While sitting front row – alongside an equally as eye-catching Doja Cat – she donned a curve-hugging black dress, complete with a lifesize, realistic lion’s head on her torso.

While the materials used to create the majestic creature Jenner wore were faux, haters are still upset over her apparent promotion of wearing animals. However, PETA has made it known that they’re in support of her jungle-friendly fit, even publicly praising the socialite and brand for their creative work.

After obviously causing controversy at Schiaparelli, the California native stirred the pot with Givenchy. From afar, her outfit looks relatively normal, consisting of a bright blue dress and mid-length pink sparkly boots. Up close, though, you can see that the accessory worn around her neck actually doubles as a noose.

As Page Six notes, the controversial piece made its debut in the French brand’s Spring 2022 collection. It appeared on the runway in October 2021, at which time social media heavily criticized it.

Upon seeing new photos of the 25-year-old in Paris, outraged Twitter users have been speaking out. “@givenchy & @KylieJenner yall support slavery? Because why would Givenchy create a noose necklace understanding the atrocities of slavery globally?” one user pondered.

“And, why would you, Kylie, wear a damn noose necklace and you have a HALF BLACK DAUGHTER & SON?! True racists,” they added.

Another person openly asked, “This woman has no shame at all. Is she picking her outfits on purpose knowing very well they will create controversy?”

Kylie Jenner’s Controversial Lion Head Dress Faces Backlash

Kylie Jenner is facing backlash for her controversial lion’s head dress she recently wore during Paris Fashion Week. The black velvet gown features a life-size head of a lion.

The designer says on their Instagram page that it is “hand sculpted foam, wool and silk faux fur, and hand painted to look as life-like as possible, celebrating the glory of the natural world.”

They further emphasize: “NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN MAKING THIS LOOK.”

Creative director Daniel Roseberry says that he looked to Dante’s Inferno and the nine circles of hell for inspiration for the collection. He cites it as a metaphor for the doubt and creative torment artists suffer.

Despite not harming any animals to make the dress, plenty of fans still took issue with the perceived messaging.

“The only thing this is glorifying is the killing of these animals, even if this is fake,” one user wrote on social media. “The lion, cheetah and the wolf seem like they are literally meant to look as if they were killed and used for clothing. How is this celebrating the glory of the natural world. Make it make sense.”

Another added: “Sorry but it’s a no for me. Whether it’s fake or not, it promotes animal cruelty. Celebrate the glory of the natural world???? Doesn’t make any sense. This is so wrong. You are promoting animal violence and supporting trophy hunting and poaching.”

In addition to Jenner, Naomi Campbell modeled a black faux fur coat with a wolf’s head on it in a similar style.

Kodak Black’s Daughter Meets Lil Baby

Kodak Black’s daughter, Yuri Kapri, met Lil Baby at Paris Fashion Week as she celebrated her first birthday. Moreover, Yak announced her birth a year ago, which coincided almost exactly with the one-year anniversary of his early release from prison. While the two MCs kept busy at shows from the likes of Kenzo Menswear, Kodak’s little girl had her fun.

What’s more is that even streamers like Kai Cenat couldn’t soften their shock, whether on camera or online. Moreover, his thoughts and reactions went viral for some hilarious moments and observations. Kylie Jenner & Doja Cat’s Wild Paris Fashion Week Looks Have Twitter Talking: Photos

2023 has been off to a strong start so far. Several celebrities are already making major money moves less than a month into the new year. So far we’ve seen Iggy Azalea take over OnlyFans and Beyoncé’s long-awaited return to the stage. Now, the stars are markedly flocking to Europe for the various shows at Paris Fashion Week.

Over the years, some famous faces have established themselves as staples at runway shows. You can almost always guarantee that at least one of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters will be in attendance. This time around, it was the family’s youngest, Kylie, who carried the torch.

The socialite has had a busy few days out and about in the city of love. Over the weekend, the paparazzi snapped photos of her donning an extravagant blue coat, tiny purse, and minimal glowy makeup on her way to the Maison Margiela display. While that outfit was certainly noteworthy, it has nothing on what she wore to the Schiaparelli S/S 2023 show.

Jenner was born on August 10th, making her sun sign a Leo. This placement has undeniably bold confidence. It’s often symbolized by the king of the jungle. Designers at the brand put a clever play on this, dressing the 25-year-old in a larger-than-life lion’s head on her right shoulder.

The picturesque accessory was looking perfect alongside her curve-hugging black gown. The makeup mogul’s hair was worn back in an elegant updo, providing perfect contrast with the bright blonde mane she was carrying on her upper body.

Celebrating the big moment on her Instagram, Jenner shared a photo dump with more snapshots of the creative fit. “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for such a special morning. Wow, I loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. Beautiful beautiful.”

Of course, the Kylie Skin creator wasn’t the only one to capture the world’s attention with her outfit. Doja Cat similarly broke the internet, though her look was far more out of the box and saw her covered in red from head to toe.

Aside from her wild Schiaparelli outfit, fans of Jenner have also been discussing her son’s new name. He was previously given the name Wolf. Shortly after, the mother of two let the world know that she was hunting for something more suitable for the young boy.

Read all about the moniker that she and Travis Scott landed on here. Afterward, let us know which celebrities you think have been killing it at Paris Fashion Week in the comments.

Kid Cudi Unveils MOTR Fashion Line At Paris Fashion Week

Kid Cudi just debuted his MOTR fashion line at Paris Fashion Week on Friday (January 20). Moreover, the name stands for “Members of the Rage,” pronounced “motor” for short. Previously, the 38-year-old teased the event back in December, pointing to a unisex and boundary-pushing collection on the horizon.

However, Cudi wanted to start a fashion line about eight years ago, but felt “discouraged” by the process. While working on a sci-fi animated film in 2021, he revisited the idea. After losing Off-White founder, Louis Vuitton men’s artistic director, and good friend Virgil Abloh in the same year, he felt even more compelled.

“There is no way I could have designed this collection without thinking about him every single f***ing day,” he expressed to Vogue. “Every day, it was like, ‘What would Virgil do? What decision would he make and how would he handle his team? What type of vibe would he have in the office?’ Because he was the ideal designer, he was the template. He was nice, personable, open and friendly with people on his team, helped other people and lifted other people up, gave them opportunities, left the door open behind him.”

Furthermore, according to Vogue, the “GHOST!” artist held the presentation at a Paris showroom and showcased fall and winter pieces for the year. Moreover, it included polos, puffer vests, long skirts, leather jackets, grungy knitwear and furry coats. Also, there’s accessories and footwear such as fake fur caps, oversized sneakers, and a boom-box-like shoulder bag.

“I want people to feel like they’re walking on stage when they’re wearing this brand,” the Ohio native stated, “I want them to feel the feeling I get when I perform at Coachella, I want them to feel like superstars.

“I am kind of just putting my hands in the paint and just making stuff, just making what I think is cool and trying to just follow that vision,” he continued. “‘Is this something I would wear, that my friends would wear?’”

Regardless, what did you think of Kid Cudi’s new fashion line, MOTR? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for the latest crossovers in music and fashion.
