Pharrell Wins Paris Fashion Week With His $1M Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag

Paris Fashion Week has seen many of the biggest names in hip-hop take over France in style this month. Of course, none of them are doing it quite like Pharrell. The Virginia-born creative was actually one of the main events earlier in the week as he made his debut as the menswear designer of Louis Vuitton on June 20. As expected, the collection has been receiving rave reviews so far. However, internet trolls are comparing some of the looks to Minecraft characters due to their pixel patterning.

In the days since proudly unveiling his first collection, Pharrell has been spotted supporting various other designers at their runways. His longtime friend Nigo impressed with his work at the Kenzo show. As High Snobiety notes, he’s also been photographed at Junya Watanabe and Dior’s presentation. The producer’s wife, Helen Lasichanh, was by his side (cooly dressed and looking naturally radiant), and his eldest son, Rocket Williams, joined them to see Kim Jones’ latest work.

In many photos, Pharrell has been carrying with him a bright yellow, monogrammed Louis Vuitton Speedy bag – one of the standout pieces from his collection. It’s a good thing it’s so attention-grabbing, seeing as it’s worth an estimated $1 million.

It’s been nicknamed the “Millionaire” bag, and has such a hefty price tag because it’s “cut from crocodile leather and affixed with both a chunky gold chain and diamond padlock, all handmade in one of LV’s fairly young leather ateliers.”

Halle Bailey Stuns At Paris Fashion Week

Halle Bailey is looking incredibly elegant at Paris Fashion Week. There may be many celebrities in attendance, but Halle is definitely a standout. The actress and singer was photographed attending the Ami Alexandre Mattiussi menswear show. The 23-year-old Little Mermaid star showcased a classy all-grey ensemble. The outfit consisted of an oversized blazer, a matching top, and high-waisted flared trousers. Additionally, Halle added a touch of height with black stiletto heels. Drop earrings featuring beautiful pearls acted as the finishing touches to Halle’s look.

Halle’s makeup was just as stunning as her outfit. It featured a glamorous palette of different products. Her face was adorned with sparkling eyeshadow, thick eyeliner, and a bold plum lip gloss. Halle’s “Little Mermaid” Success

Halle Bailey has been receiving significant attention since her impressive debut as Ariel in the Little Mermaid reboot. The film has achieved the highest fan rating among live-action Disney movies on Rotten Tomatoes. It has a current approval rating of 95% based on over 5,000 ratings. This surpasses the previous record set by Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin, which had a 94% audience rating. Despite initial backlash over Halle’s casting, the movie performed exceptionally well at the box office. Furthermore, it debuted at number one with an estimated $118 million over the Memorial Day weekend in the United States. The casting of Halle likely has quite a bit to do with the film’s success.

The film received mixed reviews from critics. It has a current approval rating of 67%. However, it has garnered global praise for Halle’s performance as Ariel. The actress herself was moved by videos of children reacting joyfully to seeing a black woman portray a Disney princess. Halle expressed her gratitude for the emotional impact she has had on young viewers. She compared it to the effect that Anika Noni Rose’s portrayal of Tiana in The Princess and the Frog had on her own perspective. Jack Harlow Posts Slick Fit Pics From Paris Fashion Week

Dozens and dozens of celebrities have been drawn to Paris this week to celebrate Paris Fashion Week. Among the many, MANY musicians in the fold are Jack Harlow. Earlier today he dropped a series of pics displaying his adventures throughout the week so far. The post’s primary picture sees Harlow looking pretty dapper in an all-black Givenchy suit. Many fans in the comments were quick to point out the contradiction in some particular lyrics from the rapper’s biggest hit “First Class.” The track contains the lyrics “You don’t need Givenchy, you need Jesus,” the double standard is obvious. Elsewhere in the comments, numerous fans made similar connections, claiming Harlow looked like a Jedi from Star Wars.

Elsewhere in the photos, Jack Harlow can be seen hanging out with Halle Berry and on a plane with longtime friend Urban Wyatt. He also made it a point to show off a specific rare Pokémon card he acquired in one of the pictures. The post’s caption reads “Put a sweet potato on the mac and make u pick a side,” which also sparked some confusion from commentors. Harlow’s post follows similar fit checks from artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce following the opening days of Fashion Week.

Back in April, Jack Harlow surprise-released his new album, Jackman. The album has already received two videos most recently one for “Gang Gang Gang.” The somber and self-reflective video dropped a few weeks ago. Harlow posted teasers to social media of what the video would look like in the days before.

Jack Harlow has also been dealing with some beef recently. In a freestyle, he posted to his YouTube as part of an ongoing series, rapper Machine Gun Kelly brought Harlow up. Offset Performs “Rick Flair Drip” At Paris Fashion Week Show

Offset has made the most of his time at Paris Fashion Week so far. He was present for Pharrell’s debut as Head of Menswear at Louis Vuitton on Tuesday night. After the show he even linked up with Jay-Z and Pharrell himself. He was involved in a more direct way with sportswear brand Li-Ning’s show. His live performance soundtracked the models taking to the runway and he brought a fan-favorite song with him.

Offset brought out his 2017 his “Ric Flair Drip” in celebration of the event. The song comes from Without Warning, Offset’s collaborative album with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage. The album also spawned tracks like “Ghostface Killers” with Travis Scott and “Rap Saved Me” with Quavo. But “Ric Flair Drip” is by far the projects biggest hit and Offset performing it made major news. While Offset has walked in runway shows before for Off-White and Balenciaga, this time he was mostly just serving as the soundtrack for the event.

Earlier this week Offset linked up with fellow Migos member Quavo. The pair got together to celebrate Takeoff’s birthday. The third member of Migos was tragically killed late last year and would have been 29 this week. He also tributed his friend with an Instagram post calling the late rapper “the greatest to touch a mic!” Offset has also popped up with Cardi B and the pair’s children at a number of events recently. The most notable one being when Cardi spoiled the rapper for Father’s Day over the weekend.

Offset had been relatively quiet musically so far in 2023. That is until the release of Metro Boomin’s Across The Spider-Verse soundtrack where he appears on three different songs. He appears on one of the albums most popular songs “Annihilate.” The track also has features from Swae Lee and Lil Wayne. Furthermore, she recently sat down with Math Hoffa on his My Expert Opinion podcast. During their conversation, they spoke about the 26-year-old’s father Benzino and how she will always stand by and support him. Sure, they’ve had their differences in the past, but ones that that they’ve always been able to reconcile. In fact, Coi Leray said that said loyalty runs so deep that she would turn down an Eminem collab if he didn’t want it to happen, given their historic beef.

“I would sit down with my father, first of all, and bring it up to him,” she remarked “I wouldn’t even ask. I’d be like, ‘Yo, listen. This is what happened. I’m not even expecting an answer. Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns recently celebrated their third anniversary as a couple. Both had heartfelt Instagram posts ready to drop for each other to celebrate the occasion. Karl-Anthony Towns’ team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, fell to the eventual champion Denver Nuggets. The team lost 4-1 despite strong individual efforts from Town, Anthony Edwards, and D’Angelo Russell.

Karl-Anthony Towns caught some heart earlier this year for a comment about his unique NBA profile. Offset Links Up With Jay-Z And Pharrell At Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

Hip-hop showed out for Pharrell at his first fashion show as Virgil Abloh’s successor at Louis Vuitton. Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton named Skateboard P their new creative director following the death of Abloh. The show’s guests included pop culture’s most famed faces, from Rihanna and A$AP Rocky to Jay-Z and Beyonce, as well as Kim Kardashian and many others. Offset also came out, as expected. The Migos rapper showed out in Louis Vuitton from head-to-toe, with a glass of champagne in one hand and a joint in the other in celebration of Pharrell’s massive debut.

‘Set also linked up with a number of fellow artists at the event. One clip that’s circulating Twitter includes the Atlanta native and Miguel posing for a picture. However, ‘Set also made sure to link up with the star of the show – Pharrell. A video surfaced of the “CODE” MC and the legendary producer, who worked together in the past on hit records like “Stir Fry,” were all smiles as ‘Set praised Pharrell for his latest accomplishments as the creative director of Louis Vuitton.

Offset Links With Jay-Z & Pharrell

Another clip that made the rounds sees Offset and Jay-Z connecting briefly, exchanging a firm handshake in a second-long clip. Hov showed out front row for the festivities alongside his wife Beyonce, who is in the midst of her Renaissance World Tour across Europe and will perform in Hamberg, Germany tonight (June 21). Despite alleged tension between Offset and Jay-Z in the past, it’s nice to see them link up with smiles on their face.

Jay-Z also hit the stage on Tuesday night with Pharrell to celebrate the incredible milestone. For her most recent outing, Rihanna returned to Paris with the Testing rapper to celebrate their friend Pharrell Williams. The Virginia native made his Louis Vuitton menswear debut today and had plenty of famous faces in attendance to cheer him on. Among them were Jay-Z and Beyonce, Zendaya, and Megan Thee Stallion. While the Carters looked nothing less than regal in their fancy outfits, Rocky and his “Fashion Killa” captured more of a street-style vibe in their all-blue ensembles.

For his part, the soon-to-be father of two paired his denim LV jacket with jean shorts and tall white crew socks. His accessories definitely complete the look, consisting of various necklaces, sunglasses, and a comfy beanie on his head. Rihanna donned an oversized jumpsuit with a block pattern displayed across the denim. She kept the front undone, leaving her growing belly on display under a sports bra in the same design as her outfit. Like Rocky, she too wears a hat on her head. The couple is currently being praised (as per usual) online for their boundless creativity.

Pharrell To Showcase Debut Louis Vuitton Collection At Paris Fashion Week

Pharrell Williams will unveil his debut collection for Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week, next month. With the schedule for the week being released, the fashion house will showcase its newest designs on June 20 at 8:30 PM, local time. In addition to Pharrell overseeing the creative direction, artistic direction is credited to Nicolas Ghesquière.

“Since 1854, Louis Vuitton has placed fashion in the context of culture bringing unique designs to the world, combining innovation with style and uncompromising quality,” read a statement from the designer.

He continued: “Today, the Maison remains faithful to the spirit of its founder, Louis Vuitton, who invented a genuine ‘Art of Travel’ through luggage, bags and accessories which were as creative as they were elegant and practical.” Prior to being at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell worked with Nigo to create the streetwear brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream in the early 2000s. He also worked with Adidas on numerous occasions as well as several other brands.

Louis Vuitton announced Pharrell as its new Men’s Head Designer back in February, earlier this year. In accepting the role, he became the first in the position since Virgil Abloh, who passed away in November 2021. Following the brand’s announcement, they wrote in a statement: “Pharrell Williams is a visionary whose creative universes expand from music to art, and to fashion – establishing himself as a cultural global icon over the past twenty years. The way in which he breaks boundaries across the various worlds he explores, aligns with Louis Vuitton’s status as a Cultural Maison, reinforcing its values of innovation, pioneer spirit, and entrepreneurship.” Many voices in hip-hop celebrated the feat including Pusha T, Jim Jones, as well as Juelz Santana, and more. Avril Lavigne & Tyga’s Relationship Not For Publicity: Report

Avril Lavigne and Tyga are reportedly serious about dating, according to TMZ. While the couple hasn’t put any labels on their relationship, their recent trip to Paris Fashion Week wasn’t just a publicity stunt. Citing sources close to the two artists, the outlet reports that their hanging out has nothing to do with promoting an upcoming collaboration and that they are genuine about one another.

Lavigne and Tyga have since returned from Paris and are still spending time together. Over the weekend, the two were spotted at the Italian restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, in Sant Monica for a romantic date.

The news comes just weeks after Lavigne called off her engagement to Mod Sun. He had proposed to Lavigne just one year ago while also in Paris. Mod Sun confirmed the split in a post on Instagram afterward. “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all,” he said. “I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken [broken heart emoji]. Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.” Mod had recently included a track titled “Avril’s Song” about his love for Lavigne on his latest album, God Save the Teen. “She blew me a kiss, And I didn’t wanna blow my brains out anymore,” he sings. “And she is everything I’m not. Without her, I am lost.” The two also collaborated on the track “Shelter.”

Tyga was previously in a relationship with Kylie Jenner as well as Blac Chyna, with whom he shares a child. Chyna recently reflected on their relationship during an interview on The Jason Lee Show. She remarked that Tyga kicked her out of his house before he set his sights on Kylie Jenner.
