Cardi B says that her mother inspired her look for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. She shared the original inspiration from her mother in her 20s on her Instagram Story, Wednesday. In the post, she puts a side-by-side of her VMA’s performance next to the throwback photo.

“My momma in her 20s vibe,” Cardi captioned the post. At the awards ceremony, she and Megan Thee Stallion performed their new single, “Bongos.” ”I’ma throw it back like it’s Thursday / I got cake, I’m lit, it’s my birthday,” they rapped through the chorus.

Cardi is a mother of two in her own right. She shares both daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 5, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2, with Offset. Just earlier this week, she shared some advice for new mother Chrisean Rock. “Whenever you start feeling emotional, you might not think it’s postpartum, but it’s postpartum,” she said during an interview with TMZ. “When that happens, go outside, take a breather, go drink some coffee, go eat some lunch on your own. I should already start talking about the album because I’m going to be putting it out very soon,” she said on the show. “But it’s like I have to watch it because I always feel like somebody watching me — it’s going to come out when it’s going to come out.”

Bianca Censori Appears To Wear Nothing But A Pillow In New Photos

The model has even raised the attention of Italian authorities, who reportedly want her charged for public indecency. She was spotted making her way out of her hotel with Ye in Florence earlier this week, appearing to rock nothing but a pillow.

In new photos, Censori looks to be wearing a sheer, nude pair of tights. She didn’t go the typical route as far as tops go. The model instead opted to simply hold a purple pillow over her chest. She left little to the imagination with the bold fit, tying everything together with a simple pair of clear heels. Ye, on the other hand, kept things completely covered with a pair of oversized black pants and a breezy matching t-shirt. He complimented his mysterious fit with a black head covering, which also covered most of his face, and a pair of his signature sock-shoes.

This is far from the most scandalous thing the couple has made headlines for as of late. At the end of last month, they were photographed engaging in what appeared to be a sexual act on a riverboat, and Ye showcased his behind for the world to see. They were later banned from the riverboat company for life, and could even be facing some legal repercussions.

According to reports, police are looking into the duo for “possibly breaking standards of public decorum.” If authorities decide that they’re going to press charges against them, they claim they’ll be notified. He says that he turned up to the set in a straight jacket and mask. The outfit also appears in a picture he shares where he’s looking like Hannibal Lecter. Unsurprisingly, Good Morning America made him change his outfit for his actual on-air interview. He explains that the pink sweater and sunglasses he ended up wearing were his replacement outfit for the appearance.

Fans in the comments wondered why Juicy J chose that fit in the first place. “Lol wtf. Why pull up to Good Morning America in a straight jacket??? Though some of the details surrounding her death have been have been contested, the general consensus is that she died due to an accidental overdose. Through an Instagram post, the rapper showed off his outfit for the RENAISSANCE world tour, which was clearly inspired by the shimmer and metallic album cover. However, it clearly didn’t please everyone, as Hernandez had some harsh words for it in the comments. Fans responded in kind, and the reality TV star even came through with a response to all the backlash.

“We dress a certain way,” Bobby Lytes captioned the post. “We walk certain way, We paint a certain way, We make love a certain way. You know, all of these things we do in a different, unique, specific way that is personally ours. #RWT2023.” In Joseline Hernandez’s reaction, she made it clear that she’s not a big fan of trying too hard, and let that perspective cloud her judgement of the fit as it stands. “Your outfit did too much,” the Ponce native wrote underneath Lytes’ post.

Keke Palmer Drama Discussion Drags Chance The Rapper Into The Fray

Some of the spiciest pop culture drama this week is what’s going on between Keke Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson. For those unaware, the Internet stormed on Jackson after he expressed disapproval of Palmer wearing a slightly revealing outfit to Usher’s concert- and many think that he was jealous of him serenading her. Of course, like with any public drama between celebrities, people from every corner stepped in to give their take. In the process, people who called out double standards in this case actually brought up Chance The Rapper, referencing a viral video of him from not too long ago. According to these proponents, social media was happy to bash on Chance but let Keke do something similar.

However, when you really compare the two instances, it’s clear that Keke Palmer has much less to explain on her end than Chance. Moreover, someone filmed the Chicago rapper grinding with a woman that isn’t his wife at a festival, which many took issue with. Still, it’s not like it was complete backlash, as plenty of users still defended it as just harmless fun that we don’t even know if his wife approves of. Regardless, it seems like a stretch to compare an act to a dress, especially when its public nature wasn’t prompted by the couple itself as Jackson did in this case.

Chance The Rapper Video Gets Compared To Keke Palmer Situation

“If I remember correctly, everybody was calling out Chance the Rapper for letting a lady dance on him at Carnival,” one user tweeted about the Keke Palmer situation. “But not many are calling out our Beloved for dancing on Usher, basically doing the same thing as Chance but in reverse. He should’ve straight called her out on this because we all know the outfit wasn’t the real reason for him calling her out. Also should’ve did it behind closed doors. It is what it is though. Kendrick Lamar turned heads with his outfit at Chanel Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023/2024 show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. Attending the event, he was welcomed as a guest of honor of Karl Lagerfeld’s successor Virginie Viard. He rocked a full Chanel outfit, encompassing a bandana, cap, glasses, tweed jacket, pearl necklace, and monogrammed jeans– all of which were Chanel branded. Perhaps most notably, the entire outfit was comprised of womenswear.

Lil Baby Roasted For Glittery Outfit

Lil Baby has been a busy man as of late. Overall, it is easy to see why when you consider how he is currently one of the biggest artists in the world. When you are in demand, you are going to have to make some appearances. However, he seems to be taking it all in stride. He is embarking on a new tour, and with new music on the horizon, fans are excited about his next moves. Speaking of that new music, hopefully, he gives some of that to us, very soon.

In the meantime, Lil Baby has been living the life. For instance, last night he got to partake in a birthday bash for Quality Control’s Pierre “P” Thomas. This is the third annual party for “P” who has been responsible for the success of a ton of amazing artists. Had it not been for Quality Control, we wouldn’t have the likes of Migos, Lil Baby, or Lil Yachty. That said, the artist pulled up to the party in an outfit that has a lot of people shaking their heads.
