Nicki Minaj is on a high at the moment. The rapper’s Pink Friday 2 album was a success, and the accompanying tour has been even bigger. Minaj is currently on the highest-grossing tour ever by a female rapper, and to celebrate she’s dropped off a remix to “FTCU.” The original version of the song was a standout on Pink Friday 2, with its bass-heavy instrumental and Minaj’s ferocious delivery. The remix, however, takes it to a whole new level. “FTCU (Sleeze Mix)” is an upgrade from the original.

“FTCU (Sleeze Mix)” works so well because the simple production allows room for Minaj to share the spotlight with her superstar guests. She really brought the heavy hitters on this one, as the remix has verses from Chris Brown, Travis Scott and Sexxy Red. Minaj and Brown have collaborated many times over the years, but Scott is an unexpected inclusion. Scott and Minaj had beef back in 2018, when the latter accused Scott of using bundle deals to outsell her Queen album. It appears things are cool now, which is a plus for fans. Both Brown and Scott deliver here, yet it’s Sexxy Red who steals the show.

Ice Spice has been keeping it very busy recently. After promising that she had big things coming in 2024 she’s well on her way to delivering on that promise. She led off the year with her new single “Think You The Sh*t (Fart).” The track was viral before it even dropped because of a hilarious teaser she shared to social media. She also recently unpacked two unreleased songs at her debut Coachella performance over the weekend. All those tracks will likely land on her debut album Y2K, which is expected to arrive this year.

In the short term though, her next release may be a contribution to someone else’s song. Cash Cobain scored a viral hit earlier this year when the New York rapper’s single “Fisherrr” gained a ton of traction online. In a new tweet, DJ Akademiks shared what he claims is a leaked version of Ice Spice’s remix of the song. “So um woke up and had an Ice Spice remix of “Fisherrr” in my inbox. F*ck it I’ll share w yall …she went crazy or na?” the caption of his post reads. It’s accompanied by a video playing the leak where Spice shows off a more relaxed style of rapping that’s closer to singing than her usual intensity. Check out the leaked song below.

Now fans got a surprise last-minute announcement not only revealing the track would drop tonight, but it features more contributions than originally expected.

Nicki just announced the “SLEEZE Mix” of “FTCU” which features a trio of artists with a variety of different styles. As previously announced, Sexyy Red will make an appearance on the track likely delivering her usual mix of hard-hitting and raunchy bars. Polo G has been dealing with quite a bit in the last year. It began when his home was raided by police and he was arrested as part of a kidnapping investigation. That caused him to delay the album he had originally announced. The album still hasn’t been released yet, though it has a rumored release date in August of 2024. Even that release date could face turbulence following more legal trouble that Polo has been in recently.

Last week, he was arrested at a NYC hotel after the staff found a loaded gun in his hotel room. He was hit with two charges for illegal possession of the weapon and released on bail earlier this week. As he exited the courtroom a member of his entourage got in a physical altercation with a photographer trying to get a pic of the rapper. With everything going on in his life Polo has apparently fallen into some bad habits. He made a tweet that left fans concerned for his well-being and added some context to his current state of mind.
