Lil Pump promised to make a strong comeback in the past few months. Somewhere in between the success of “Gucci Gang” and his cringey collab with Ye, his social media antics became monotonous. Ultimately, his hottest moment in the past few years was during the election, when former President Donald Trump referred to him as “Lil Pimp” and allowed him to speak at his campaign rally. He didn’t utilize the moment to gain supporters out of the right, though it seems like he’s now gearing up to return to the rap game.
After a whole makeover that included losing his lean gut and getting a new set of teeth, he began to embark in a new era of his professional career. The sequel to his self-titled debut is expected to drop later this week, which will include some big features. However, it feels like it could be a make-or-break moment that may or may not lead him to performing in front of similar sized crowds as his buddy, Smokepurpp.
Lil Pump Switches Up On “I Don’t Mind” ft. NBA Youngboy
Lil Pump is apparently exploring beyond the distorted bass of Soundcloud rap for a more melodic effort. This week, he returned with his latest single, “I Don’t Mind” ft. NBA Youngboy. Surprisingly, he brings out a more melodic effort that delves into a more vulnerable side. Pump shares his experiences of heartbreak and desire to be left alone. It’s truly a surprising 180 from what people expect from Pump. It’ll be interesting if Lil Pump 2 entirely consists of a sound similar to this.
NBA Youngboy evidently relates to the topic as he meshes perfectly within Pump’s new found. His muffled hums and passionate croons take center stage over Thank You Fizzle’s velvety production. YB will be among the group of collaborators that will appear on Lil Pump 2, alongside Ty Dolla $ign, Rio Da Yung OG, Smokepurpp, and G4 Boyz. Check out his new song above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.
Quotable Lyrics I was spending money, chasing you ‘fore you just started to do anything Go to war one more time behind your love, empty it all, I can never change But I can’t be dumb forever, I done moved on, took it up to another level Got no problem with being alone, I’ve been staying strong, getting money the best way
The famous duo Rae Sremmurds expects to wow the world with a much-anticipated album release. Sremm4life, the fourth series to their installment, drops this summer. The brothers have faced criticism before and have their sights set on a flawless lift-off. Having been away for some time, the “Mike Will made it” hitmakers have 4th April as the release date.
Following successful hits like “No Type” and a massive anthem in “No Flex Zone” would be a tough feat for any artist. Moreover, Rae Sremmurd never disappoints and Sremm4life should pack some heat. Mike Will’s beat flow and hooks in every pocket make these albums quality productions. His style also has upbeat hooks that are familiar to the pop-rap music industry.
After their breakthrough year in 2014, the duo followed up with SremmLife. This album highlighted their signature cartoonish voices that brought a different feel to rap music. Their inclusive style of rap yet again delivered a powerful composition that compares to the rarely found remedy to agoraphobia.
StremmLife Setbacks as Mike Will Made it!
Their previous hit debut album faced great challenges on its way up. Mostly, when Complex declared StremmLife as its third-best album. Some, like the former Hot 97 program director dismissed its success. Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi were likened to Milli Vanilli and accused of not writing their own songs. Furthermore, their voice range was dismissed as fabricated and they faced criticism for being unable to produce a “proper original rap album.”
In their defense, Mike Will Made – it, an alleged ghostwriter to the album addressed the allegations on Twitter. He stated that most critics were stuck in the old ways. He further stated that haters failed to embrace the changing style and beat acknowledged by the new generation. Stremm4Life is expected to add to its many accolades for its anticipated ability to transcend the traditional rap style. They mostly have a contemporary fresh beat in the party-rap growing recipe.
Tanisha Pump That Tease
This fourth installment is surely expected to overshadow previous critics. The brothers made their name known for their hits that make heads bop. With SR3MM released in 2018, the four-year wait could be over in about a month’s time. Moreover, fans expect Swae Lee and Slim to present another masterpiece.
Undoubtedly, fans can get excited having teased with “Tanisha (Pump That)”; a single that had Mike Will’s signature with a touch of Pharell’s signature in it. The duo is famed for releasing massive party soundtracks and SR4MM is expected to follow the trend and entertain fans throughout the summer.
Moreover, Swae Lee, during an interview on HollywoodLife, was confident that they found the solution to save summer. He encouraged fans to be on the lookout for a massive project. One thing he also revealed was that Lizzo was a featured artist on the album. Subsequently, with the currently hot-rated artist, this adds more spark to the anticipated release date.
Overall, following the previous success of their previous albums, fans anticipate Platinum certification from Sremm4Life. One of their hits, “Black Beatles” currently 7x platinum certified became a global hit. However, it remains unclear which of the tracks would emulate the achieved fete.
Rae Sremmurd Legacy Lives
Recently, Rae Sremmurd’s performance at the NFL Pro Bowl may have featured previous songs. However, they may get to play the new album soon. With the Coachella stage set in April, fans wonder whether they would get a taste of some hot tracks from the anticipated album. They also get a chance to perform some of the tracks off the new album at the European leg of the Twelve Carat Tour where they are set to feature as well.
The brothers intend to roll out this album as they’ve always done, together! With their street cred one of the best and style unique, Sremm4Life should be a club banger! The duo is tipped to give teasers on the tracks on this album in April. Therefore, whether Streamm4life would be a hit or miss, fans across the world eagerly await the release.
Clearly, from the track Tanisha, Mike Will’s impact on the beat is evident and sounds like a sure club banger. With the five years wait for the release of the LP almost over, fans have under three weeks to experience Sremm4Life. Additionally, the promise of what would be another platinum hit contender album is huge. Have a listen to “Tanisha”, the summer just got buzzing!

After delaying work on his sophomore solo LP following the tragic death of his cousin Takeoff, Offset recently revealed he’s back in “album mode.” Moreover, the former Migos member took to his Instagram Story to let fans know he’s hard at work on his next release. In fact, he had quite the busy weekend, as he attended Vanity Fair‘s post-Oscars party with his wife, Cardi B. At that gathering, he wore a jewel-covered face mask reminiscent of Kanye West’s Yeezus era. If that’s a sign, it looks like the Atlanta icon will either bring us his foray into industrial hip-hop or simply a new, unexpected turn in his career.
Furthermore, he recently released the track “2 LIVE” with Hit-Boy, which could be a pretty remarkable partnership. Unfortunately, though, the tragic loss of fellow Migo Takeoff brought a rift into some of Offset’s other relationships. For example, his battles and back-and-forths with J. Prince since Take’s passing became a morbid spectacle online. Not only are these two men in grieving, but both are already antagonized in this situation and chose to take things further in that direction. However, he did clear up some fake news that Prince was arrested for threatening him, which was not true at all.
Offset’s In “Album Mode”
Meanwhile, the rapper recently attended an NBA game, the same one that Quavo went to, and sat separately. Moreover, that’s another relationship that was apparently strained long before tragedy struck the trap group pioneers. Still, many hoped that in its aftermath, they could heal in the face of something much more tragic and pressing. With no luck, it seems the two still have their conflicts, which hopefully can mull over soon for both.
Despite these obstacles, Offset remains an important and impactful figure in the rap world. Recently, the Atlanta-Fulton Foundation gifted him the Legacy in Hip-Hop award from the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus. “Recognizing the many contributions you make to not only music but most importantly our community,” they wrote on Instagram. “Continue to give of yourself for betterment of the community.” Considering that, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Offset. Also, if you’re curious, check out the bejeweled face mask he wore to the Vanity Fair party below.
Is it time for another Megan Thee Stallion SZN? Her Hotties believe so, especially after the rapper made a grand return to the spotlight over the weekend. For months, sightings of the Traumazine hitmaker have been few and far between. She’s been laying low since the verdict was reached in the Tory Lanez trial, but it looks like we’re entering a new era for the Rap star. Megan looked stunning at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and hinted that new music was coming.
This look was Megan’s first time on the red carpet since December. She looked radiant in a Bach Mai custom gown while adorned in luxury diamond pieces, including a show-stopping ring. “The designer is from Houston, Texas! His name is Bach. He got me snatched tonight,” said Megan about Bach. There were also jokes about Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour tickets. Megan kidded she wouldn’t reveal who gave her the passes but confirmed she wouldn’t miss it.
Megan Thee Stallion Is Back In Action
The interviewer joked about Megan having a direct line to the Knowles-Carters. She’s managed by Roc Nation, so it was no surprise the rapper would attend. “You know I called them directly!” said Megan with a laugh. “Beyoncé! Let me get a ticket!” Additionally, every year, Bey and Jay-Z host their exclusive Oscars party—and Megan revealed she was also invited to that. “You know Beyoncé is my auntie!”
The Houston Hottie added that she had to stop by the Vanity Fair event for a “quick one, two.” She added, “This is my first night out, and I’m here, and I’m ready.” So, is she working on music? “Oh, I am. New album, f*ck you hoes, bye!”
A Rough Season For Thee Stallion
Megan faced public ridicule for over two years after she alleged Tory Lanez shot her in the foot. What unraveled was unlike anything we’ve seen recently, as Lanez and his supporters openly targeted Megan throughout. They argued that she was lying about what occurred, even pointing fingers at one of the only other witnesses, Kelsey Harris. The two women were once best friends, but the incident caused a divide.
Alternative theories were presented during the trial, but a jury found Lanez guilty. He was initially scheduled for sentencing in late February, but he reportedly has to wait until April to learn his fate. Check out Megan Thee Stallion enjoying her night out above.

It’s been nearly three years since August Alsina released a studio album, but the wait is finally over. On Friday, the “I Luv This Shit” singer dropped Myself, showcasing a more personal approach to his typically high-energy hits. Leading up to the release of Alsina’s long-due album, the 30-year-old teased fans with a few tracks earlier this year.
The first song of the project, also titled “Myself,” dropped in January and kicked off the tone for the intimate reflection revealed throughout the album. He added another preview in February with “Weekdays,” which features Zu and Deeno. As a more upbeat number to this 10-track project, this catchy and anthem-like song further self-reflects on the New Orlean rapper’s relentless hustling mentality.
August Alsina Showcases “Resilience” With “Myself”
The entirety of Myself unfolded on Friday (March 10), with tracks like “Lied to You, “August,” and “Party” adding on to the previously released teasers. Alsina joins forces with 4ayem for the soft number “Friends,” where he puts his own spin on the iconic nursery rhyme that Jibbs mashed up in 2006 on “Chain Hang Low.” In “On Me,” the singer collaborates with Layton Greene, resulting in a seductive track that beautifully fuses together both of their melodic voices.
All in all, this new album is an ode to independent hustlers who don’t need anyone else to flourish. From calling out fake friends to hinting at world domination, Alsina isn’t shy of sharing the self-sufficient nature that has allowed him to overcome hardships. When the Def Jams Recording artist revealed the release of Myself earlier this week, he added a promo video to the post explaining his inspiration for the project.
“I’ve gone from a young boy to a man… A man who’s wiser… smarter… stronger because of my experiences and adversities I’ve faced. And a man whose more resilient,” Alsina reflects. Stream Myself on DSPs below. For more news on hip-hop and pop culture, be sure to check out HNHH.
