Offset Originally Hated “Ric Flair Drip”

During a recent interview, Offset opened up about his 2017 Without Warning track, “Ric Flair Drip.” While the song remains a hit among listeners, Offset revealed that he actually wasn’t a fan of it at first. He says that after recording it, he told Metro Boomin not to put it on the joint album with 21 Savage. Metro Boomin clearly ignored his request, as he had a hunch that it would perform well.

“Just so y’all know,” he began. “I hated the song.” When asked who was able to convince him to put the song on Without Warning, he said “it was Metro for sure.” He went on to detail the recording process, revealing that he didn’t even put much effort into it. “It was a west coast beat … when I did it I didn’t take it serious.”

Offset Discusses “Ric Flair Drip”

“Like, y’all don’t even know. I cussed his a** out when the album dropped, cause you know, I’m like ‘bruh, don’t put this song on the album.’ [He’s] in charge of picking the songs and sh*t,” he explained. Metro chose to go against his wishes, putting the track on the LP regardless of his request. “I woke up to it in the morning,” Offset recalled. “I’m like, ‘man, this n***a put the song on the album!’” Obviously, Metro’s decision ended up working out in their favor, as the song went on to top the charts.

“I’ll never forget, like three days later,” he continued. “We number one on Apple. Meek Mill & Rick Ross’ ‘Fallon’ Performance Of Their Song ‘Shaq & Kobe’ Was An All-Star Showing

Yesterday (November 10), Meek Mill and Rick Ross’ joint album, Too Good To Be True, hit streaming services. To celebrate the milestone, both rappers gave an all-star performance of the project’s lead single, “Shaq & Kobe,” on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

As veterans in hip-hop and longstanding collaborators, Meek and Ross’ high-energy set wasn’t just limited to their latest body of work. The duo decided to surprise viewers with a performance of Meek’s 2012 “Ima Boss,” featuring Ross.

Ross shared what led to their collaborative album during an appearance on The Morning Hustle. “This was the right time,” he replied. “We’re both solo artists and both doing our thing. I’m building MMG, and he’s building Dream Chasers [Records]. I felt like this was the right time. You know what I mean, it just came together. So we spent a little time together and got into the studio. Sh*t just came together too easily; it just flowed,” said Ross.

NBA YoungBoy Refers To His Wife As “Property,” Wires Her $1M

NBA YoungBoy raised a few eyebrows with his recent Instagram post. The pair of images showed YB posing with a woman who he referred to as his “wife”, amongst other things. “My real day 1, y’all be dying to see my wife huh? Nah she too exclusive #mypropertyonly 💕,” the rapper wrote as a caption. This led to a wave of speculation across social media. “He must got a bunch of sister house in that house,” one person remarked on Reddit. Furthermore, fans questioned if the woman in the photos was Dej Rosegold, a previous flame of YB from a few years back.

Furthermore, in another post, YB was seen calling his bank and asking for $1 million to be wired to his wife’s account. After he hangs up, YB proceeds to vibe out to some music with a joint. Despite recent claims that house arrest was affecting his mental health, YB appears to be having a pretty great time right now.

YB’s Baby Mama Makes Horrifying Allegations Against Rapper

However, another thing that people were asking in the comments was if the woman in the pictures was the same woman making allegations against YB. One of the rapper’s baby mommas recently claimed that she was beaten by two women in YB’s home, all while she was holding her son. “Watch who you have kids by. My son dad let his wh-res yes wh-res with an S cause it was 2 of them weak a– h-es. He gave them an order to get me lol you know b-tches who never came from sh-t gone do it. My son was in my hands. His dad just sat back and watched smh. I would be wrong if I pressed charges on yall for doing me like this with my baby in my hand. But karma gone eat yall a–es up. I got my son back I’m happy that’s all that matters fr. 5 stitches later. And her punk a– fist ain’t do that shorty had sum,” the woman’s account of the attack read.

There appears to be a lot of violence following YB and his extended entourage lately. Last weekend, the rapper was seen celebrating the fact that his rival, Lil Rye, had been jumped in Atlanta. Also last weekend, there were reports that his ex, Arabian, had thrown down with the sister of King Von. YB has not responded to the claims made my his BM. Chrisean Rock is used to landing herself in serious trouble when Blueface is involved. This weekend, the 23-year-old is proving that she’s capable of landing in hot water on her own accord as well. She’s been focusing on the success of her music career in recent weeks, specifically her Blueface diss track, “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” with Lil Mabu. Thanks to the hard work she’s put in, Rock was recognized by R&B icon Tamar Braxton, and offered an opportunity to address the crowd at her Friday (November 10) evening concert.

In videos circulating from the event, the Baltimore native looks to be in good spirits while turning up with Braxton backstage. The pair show off their twerking moves for the camera. In another video, Rock speaks to the audience though there appears to be an effort to have her removed from the stage. According to initial reports, the new mother missed her opportunity to perform while attempting to grab a friend from the front of the venue. This set her off, and resulted in a physical attack on James Wright Chanel that reportedly sent him to the hospital.

Braxton’s good friend LeTroy has been breaking down the drama from his perspective. He alleges that Rock was actually never meant to sing to the crowd last night. “She come to Tamar concert drunk with 1,000 people, smelling like weed, looking d**b,” he yelled into the camera while defending his friends. “Apparently she makes music, I didn’t know that,” LeTroy’s rant continued.

“Apparently she wanted to drop a beat, you know what I’m saying? So, she was mad that she didn’t get to perform! I didn’t know she was a performer, and even if I did know she was, she was not getting on the stage that everybody has worked their a** off to make! Trippie Redd became a father this week, taking to social media to share images of his newborn son. However, the child, named Saint Michael, came as a shock to most of the rapper’s fanbase. “Bro just be randomly dropping bombshells like it’s nothing and then expecting us to pick up the pieces for him and create context,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “What i wanna know is who the hell did he get pregnant if that actually is HIS kid. if so then congratulations to bro but i got so many questions!! 💀 this past week has been one huge mind f-ck 😭,” added another. The shock announcement led made to wonder if this was just weird promotional material for Red’s upcoming album.

However, there were more than a few trolls reacting to the news. Trippie Redd Releases Half An Album

As mentioned, it’s been a very busy week for fans of the rapper. Earlier this week, Redd dropped one half of his new album, Saint Michael. Eagle-eyed readers will note that that is the same name as his newborn son. Despite this, fans have been left stunned and confused by the whirlwind of a week that Redd has subjected them to.

According to the song, He received $50K from Lil Baby, $40K from Lil Durk and 21 Savage, and $10K from Money Man.

Ralo Honors Young Dolph

Elsewhere, Ralo honored his friend Young Dolph on Instagram. “I’ma hold you down [no] matter what a mf say. I was your real friend and still is. I damn near cry every time I think about you…,” Ralo lamented. Dolph was killed in late 2021, right in the middle of Ralo’s six-year prison sentence. The murder trial surrounding Dolph’s death recently received a major shakeup as a new judge was seated.

However, Dolph wasn’t the only person to receive a lamentation from Ralo. In another post made prior to his release, Ralo spoke on the death of his friend Marlo. “Assalamualaikum. Marlo told me not to worry. He was going to be the first person at the gate waiting on me when this sh-t over. My release is in two weeks. I know life goes on, but this sh-t ain’t da same as when we was passing this money around. On Friday (November 10) evening, reports of physical violence between Rock and James Wright began circulating on various blogs. According to insiders, Tamar Braxton brought the 23-year-old to appear at her live show as a guest performer last night. When it was time for her to go on, she was unreachable.

As a result, showrunners had no choice but to skip over Rock’s track and move on to Braxton’s next guest. According to @theneighborhoodtalk, the Baltimore native was out front attempting to get her friend inside the venue when she missed her cue. Chrisean apparently went backstage to seek out more answers, and upon entering Tamar’s dressing room, she spoke with Wright. In the middle of the man’s explanation, the reality starlet allegedly punched him in the face several times as she was under the impression he was lying to her.

Ray J Roasted For Bizarre NSFW “Prank” On Instagram

Social media users tore into Ray J after the rapper uploaded a bizarre prank video to his Instagram. Ray J was seen lamenting about the need to apply lotion to his legs while a comically large bulge protruded out one side of his shorts. However, very few people, if anyone at all, were amused by the out-of-pocket video. Most people immediately deemed the appendage to simply be a dildo that Ray J had inserted into his shorts. Meanwhile, words like “cringe” and “corny” were thrown about liberally. Furthermore, many people pointed out that it had to be fake given his infamous sex tape with Kim Kardashian. “We seen the video tho….. We know this is fraudulent,” one person noted.

As the video quickly went viral, a number of big-name internet trolls found their way to the post. The most notable of these was ex-NBA player Nick Young. “These n-gga wearing strapon!! That’s sick lol I’m about to start a show your real print challenge lol.” Later, Ray J tried to deflect the negative reaction with a joking comment of his own. “Somebody please take my phone from me,” he wrote in the comments.

Ray J Beefs With Kodak Black

However, social media backlash isn’t the only thing that Ray J has been up to lately. Elsewhere, he has also been beefing with Kodak Black. The beef began after he reacted to Black’s recent appearance on Drink Champs. “We gotta help this dude. I took him to Trump house and he did the most. They were not happy with the experience bc he had no guidance and respect. Yo @wack100 let’s figure out how we can help this guy instead of watching him self destruct,” he said on social media. Responding in an Instagram Live, Black told fans he was fine and made physical threats against Ray J. However, Ray J responded in kind, telling Black to put his money where his mouth was and fight him.

A statement from Black and his lawyer then sought to address both the Trump claims while also furthering the beef. “Kodak was invited to Mar A Largo by Ray J for a fund raiser for another candidate, not for altruistic reasons,” the statement began before calling out unnamed people for speaking on Black now instead of when he was incarcerated. Furthermore, the statement thanked everyone from Lil Pump to Lamar Jackson for extending help and support to Black.

Young Dolph Was Killed Over “Some Rap Sh*t,” Mia Jaye Claims

In a recent Instagram Live, Young Dolph’s longtime partner, Mia Jaye, claimed that the rapper was killed over “some rap sh-t”. “I were to guess, based on the history of things…rap sh-t, bro. Dolph was killed back in 2021 after being ambushed outside a bakery in Memphis. Four men are currently facing trial for his murder. However, the case has been slow-moving in many facets and fans are beginning to tire of not seeing justice done for Dolph’s family.

Young Dolph Suspect Meets New Judge

Meanwhile, one of the men accused of killing Dolph, Hernandez Govan met with the new judge in his case, Judge Jennifer Mitchell. Judge Mitchell was assigned to the case after the original judge, Judge Lee Coffee was recused. Judge Coffee had been ruled to have disproportionally punished another defendant in the case for releasing a song while incarcerated. While Coffee ordered Justin Johnson to be placed in “administrative isolation”, the jail’s warden noted that Johnson had not broken any specific rules.

Furthermore, Coffee was not a fan of Govan either. Earlier this year, Govan had received a scathing courtroom response from Coffee after requesting amendments to the conditions of his house arrest. “I don’t see any reason at all why this court should relax those conditions and say ‘Mr. Govan, we’re going to let you go back to being a fully fledged person with no restrictions at all, go to work when you want to, go shopping when you want to, leave the county when you want go, go to other places when you want to. You are probably aware that Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee is the first most violent metropolitan area in the country. This case has generated a substantial amount of publicity. If you’re running around free in Shelby County, Mr. Govan, knock on wood, somebody might be trying to kill you, sir,” Coffee told Govan back in July.

Both G Herbo and Chris Brown have dismissed any speculation that there is any bad blood between them. Fans first theorized that this may be the case after Herbo said “Imma slap the f-ck outta you” in an Instagram Story post that appeared to be responding to an interview by Brown in which he asked Funny Marco about being “bullied” by Herbo and Southside. However, Herbo denied this. “Im not talking bout no f-cking Chris. Stop posting this gang y’all reaching,” he wrote in the comments.

Furthermore, a separate post from Brown himself appeared to corroborate the Chicago rapper’s sentiment. “Y’all gotta chill wit the negative sh-t. HERBO IS MY REAL BLOODA. NOW YALL CAN GO LISTEN TO THE ALBUM AND CHILL DA F-CK OUT. JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZUZZZ CHRIST,” Brown wrote on his own story. That should put any rumblings of a feud to bed, given that neither man in the “beef” appears to think there is one.

Herbo Gets Checked In Dating Show Fail

However, the allegations of beef with Breezy aren’t the only thing that people are coming after Herbo for. He recently took part in a YouTube dating show hosted by No Luv Mar. Entitled “20 WOMEN VS 1 RAPPER: G HERBO”, the show featured Herbo trying to find a new romantic partner before he heads to prison. However, while Herbo left the show alone, one interaction will stay with fans. The rapper cursed out one women after she asked him where he was from. The Chicago rapper was pretty offended that she didn”t know beforehand. “You ain’t look up nothing? Bye! How the f-ck you don’t know where I’m from and you talking to me? Get the f-ck on, bye!”

That wasn’t the end of the interaction, however, as the women didn’t leave without some parting shots of her own. “You could get the f-ck on! How the hell am I supposed to know where the f-ck you from? Don’t nobody know about you. Ain’t nobody looking sh*t up. Fuck you, n-gga. Light-skin a–. You look like Latto with your light-skin a–. Why your hairline so far back?” Regardless, as mentioned, he doesn’t have a lot of time for love right now. He is expected to begin a five-year prison sentence for fraud in the next few months.
