Finesse2Tymes Releases New Single And Music Video For “Can’t Go To Jail” After Recent Arrest

Polarizing and up-and-coming Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes recently got into some hot water with the authorities. With everything going on around him, he decided to make a new song around the situation. “Can’t Go To Jail,” released on September 1, also got the music video treatment and that has people buzzing. The visuals see Finesse2Tymes, in essence, recreating his arrest. He is driving fast in a Dodge Charger trying to lose the police. Eventually, they catch up to him and handcuff him.

In the chorus, the 2023 XXL Freshman raps that he cannot be behind bars because he feels he will not get a bail offer. As the one-minute and 58-second track comes close to ending, Finesse2Tymes also says, “I do this for C Murda (No Limit).” Lately, there has been a lot of noise and headlines around Master P’s brother C Murda. He is serving a mandatory life prison sentence for the murder of 16-year-old Steven Thomas at a closed club in Louisiana. A questionable line to spit in a song about his arrest.

Overall, the song is a typical trap song with the Memphis treatment. The beat is extremely aggressive and is provided by Memphis Track Boy. Finesse2Tymes is rapping like he is running from the police, which does add to the track. However, it is certainly a bold choice to make a music video and song around all of the legal trouble he is in.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new song and music video, “Can’t Go To Jail,” by Finesse2Tymes? Do you think the police were in the right to arrest him? Doja Cat Shares Music Video For New Song “Demons”

Doja Cat has had an up-and-down week packed full of controversies. Firstly, she faced controversy after announcing her new single “Demons.” Despite the pretty obvious implications of the title, fans thought that the artwork was too demonic or satanic. Doja didn’t mince words when clapping back at fans that couldn’t take the cover. “Y’all so b*tchmade you probably couldn’t make it through an episode of ‘Goosebumps’, f*ckin p*ssies,” she said on her Instagram story.

She also dealt with issues for another piece of artwork. She shared details of her new album Scarlet to social media including announcing the release date, September 22, and posting the album cover to Instagram. Some keen-eyed fans took notice of the fact that the album cover was eerie similar to one used by German metal band Chaver, and that the albums were set to be released on the same day. As it turns out the same artist made both album covers and Doja seemed fine letting Chaver have that one. She eventually deleted the original post and replaced it with a new album cover featuring a different spider.

Doja Cat Turns Into A Nightmare Demon

In the newly released video, Doja Cat herself plays a demon of sorts. She haunts the nightmares of actress Christina Ricci through a series of dark dreamy landscapes. While some fans have taken issue with imagery in the video once again, for the most part, Doja’s fans seem to appreciate it.

One thing that many pointed out about the song is how much it reminds them of one artist in particular. Doja Cat’s unconventional flows and hilarious background adlibs immediately reminded fans of the eccentricities of Baby Keem. The comparison is so strong that some even wondered if Keem himself had his hand in the song. Though a check of the track’s credits doesn’t include him he clearly influenced the sound and direction of the track. What do you think of the new music video for Doja Cat’s “Demons”? Man Alleges That He Was Cut From DaBaby’s Music Video Because Of His Sexuality

A former adult entertainer who goes by Mustang recently took to social media to make some allegations against DaBaby. He claims that he had been a part of one of DaBaby’s music video shoots recently, but was eventually cut. The video in question is for “Ghetto Girls,” and was released last night. Mustang alleges that he was removed from the video when people involved on set learned that he’s gay.

“They definitely cut me from the whole video because ppl couldn’t congratulate me or applaud but had to bring attention to my sexuality which had nothing to do with the video or my performance,” he wrote on Instagram. “So to all the ppl who went out they way to expose a part of my life that didn’t have nothing to do with this project thank y’all for getting me canceled.” Some people in his comments section weighed in to deny the allegations, claiming that he makes his sexuality known online. He then clapped back, arguing that there’s nothing on his page that references his adult content or his sex life. “I promote business that’s it,” Mustang writes.

Man Alleges That People “Exposed” His Sexuality

Others took the opportunity to bring up some of DaBaby’s previous homophobic comments. In 2021, the rapper took the stage at Rolling Loud Miami, and left many offended after he dissed the LGBTQ+ community. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, put your cellphone lighter up,” he shouted into the mic. “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.

Some feel as though Mustang’s claims don’t seem far-fetched based on DaBaby’s past. His allegations remain unconfirmed, however, the rapper could be in some hot water if they’re proven to be true. DaBaby has yet to respond to the situation. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on DaBaby.

Quavo Teases Moving Music Video For “Hold Me”

Quavo recently took to social media, sharing a preview of a new music video with followers. The touching video is for the song “Hold Me,” from his latest release Rocket Power. The performer is surrounded by friends and family wearing Takeoff t-shirts in the teaser, sending off memorial lanterns in honor of the late artist. Quavo raps about leaning on loved ones amid hard times in the emotional track, reflecting on his nephew’s passing.

Quavo dropped Rocket Power earlier this week, his second full-length solo album. It acts as a tribute to Takeoff, even boasting posthumous features from the artist on “Patty Cake” and “Back Where It Begins.” Quavo chronicles his grieving process on the LP, with lyrics about moving forward and celebrating Takeoff’s legacy. “Lost my nephew to gunplay and smoke sh*t / Lost my dawgs to some petty a** ho sh*t / I guess you look at me ’cause I’m the oldest
We was the closеst (On God),” he rhymes on “Hold Me.”

The new teaser has supporters eagerly-awaiting the music video, sounding off in the comments section. Rocket Power has already managed to become a fan-favorite, also boasting features from Future, Young Thug, and more. It follows his first solo effort, 2018’s Quavo Huncho. “This album is for the Rocket, our true fans, and also this is my therapy,” Quavo explained earlier this summer. “This album is a true reflection of how I feel right now.”

Takeoff was tragically shot in 2020, leading to his untimely death at the age of 28. Since his passing, both of his former Migos group mates have paid tribute to the late artist. Quavo and Offset gave a touching performance in his honor at the 2023 BET Awards, which gained the respect of fans and peers alike. Following the tragedy, Quavo told his late nephew, “You will continue to send your blessings down from Heaven and I will continue to keep your name alive as long as I live.”

Brent Faiyaz Shows Off His Film Buff Side In “JACKIE BROWN” Music Video

Even a year after its release, Brent Faiyaz’s WASTELAND is still in heavy rotation for many R&B fans out there. What’s more is that, with 19 different tracks to choose from, there’s still plenty of space to bring each song to new heights. Moreover, that’s exactly what the Maryland native and his team achieved with this new music video for “JACKIE BROWN.” If you’re a Quentin Tarantino fan, you already know that the song’s lyrics reference the titular character of one of his more underrated films. However, with a beautiful plane vista, it seems like the visual wanted to emphasize that comparison even more.

“The clip channels the aesthetic and spirit of the 1997 Quentin Tarantino classic flick of the same name, as it opens with Brent on a plane,” a press release of Brent Faiyaz’s newest video reads. “After cruising through the clouds, he visits the salon, hits the high seas on a yacht, tries on tailored fits, and enjoys a dinner surrounded by friends. These vibrant vignettes melt into one another, matching his smooth cadence.” Furthermore, through slick editing and a slow-paced but intoxicating vocal performance and instrumental, that melting effect certainly holds true.

Brent Faiyaz’s “JACKIE BROWN”: Watch The Music Video

For example, bubbles from a jacuzzi quickly morph into bubbles from a champagne glass at dinner. While it’s not the most narratively complex video out there, its vibrant and almost regal color palette and presentation makes it pure eye candy for fans of the track. Considering the lyrical themes of life moving fast and treating a woman to luxury, the visuals do a compelling job of representing that. Overall, it’s a nice treat to dive into WASTELAND again if you’re a fan who hasn’t revisited it in some time.

Meanwhile, considering his new creative agency in partnership with UnitedMasters, there’s probably going to be a lot more exciting projects from the 27-year-old coming soon. Sure, a new album will always take precedent, but Faiyaz is clearly an entertainer who thinks larger than that. As such, all we can hope for is that we see his growth with spectacular results. For more news and the latest updates on Brent Faiyaz, keep checking in with HNHH.

Rae Sremmurd Share New Music Video For “Sexy”

Rae Sremmurd are following up their new album earlier this year with yet another music video. Back in April, Rae Sremmurd returned with their first new album since 2018’s SR3MM. Sremm 4 Life had features from Young Thug and Future among its 14-song tracklist. The album went on to debut at number 28 on the Billboard 200, becoming their first studio album to peak outside the top 10. They’ve already released music videos for “Torpedo,” “Tanisha (Pump That),” and “Not So Bad (Lean Gone Cold).”

Now “Sexy” has officially become the 4th track from the album to receive a music video. The Ethan Iverson-directed music video dropped earlier today and features a number of memorable hip-hop motifs. In the clip the duo hang out with some of their famous friends, drinking, flexing expensive items, and causing trouble wherever they go. Locations in the video include a studio, restaurant, hotel room, and even out on a boat. Check out the extravagant new music video below.

Usher Taps Keke Palmer To Star In New “Boyfriend” Music Video

Keke Palmer is teaming up with Usher to turn some real life drama into a new music video. Last month the pair were wrapped up in a news story together when a dress Palmer wore to one of the R&B legend’s shows in Vegas got some surprising attention. The drama was sparked by Keke’s partner Darius Jackson who took issue with her outfit in a series of social media posts. Now, they’re making the most of the high profile drama.

Usher just dropped his new single “Boyfriend,” his third new song of 2023. For the video he fittingly nabbed Keke. In the accompanying video the pair have a chance encounter in where else but Las Vegas. Even the lyrics of the song itself seem to reference the viral drama. Throughout the song Usher makes references to somebody’s boyfriend looking for him, presumably because of perceived advances he’s making on girls. Check out the perfect new video below.

Last month, Usher announced that he has a new album on the way soon. He previewed a song called “Comin Home” which is expected to appear on the project. The two singles he’s released since then are also expected to make the cut. What do you think of Keke Palmer and Usher addressing their drama in a new music video?
