Rucci & AzChike Release 21-Track Album, “Kourtesy Of Us”

California’s Rucci and AzChike are no strangers to collaborating, but on October 8th, the pair dropped their first joint album, Kourtesy Of Us. The lengthy 21-track project includes “Hoodrat,” featuring Pjay, AzSwaye, and Boosie Badazz, which just received a music video last month.

In the clip, the five rappers can be seen hanging out at a car wash, throwing back tequila and Henny while making it rain. Like many of their songs, “Hoodrat” has been described as a “West Coast anthem,” the kind that you want to turn up so loud that it makes your vehicle visibly shake while you sing along.

Other noteworthy artists featured on Kourtesy Of Us include Cypress Moreno, Kamaiyah, Haiti Babii, and Capolow, among others.

Sleepy Hallow Drops Off “Still Sleep? (Deluxe)”

The Winners Circle is putting in work. Unfortunately, Sheff G remains behind bars but Sleepy Hallow has been holding down the fort in his absence. The rapper has been a pivotal force in the Brooklyn drill scene alongside Sheff but his ear for beats has certainly helped him stand out. The hard-hitting knock of drill music often contrasts the soft samples he chooses.

It was an aspect of his artistry that was further explored on his latest album, Still Sleep? On Friday, he delivered the deluxe edition of the project including 11 new songs. The Coi Leray-assisted “2055” remix makes the tracklist, along with remixes to hit singles like “2 Sauce,” including a new verse from Skillibeng, and “Mi No Sabe” ft. Chucky73 and Casper Magico.

Check out the latest from Sleepy Hallow below.

The Alchemist Drops Follow-Up EP, “This Thing Of Ours 2” Featuring Vince Staples

If anyone’s had a busy 2021, it’s the Alchemist. The 43-year-old teamed up with Armand Hammer for Haram, Boldy James for Bo Jackman, and still somehow found time to release an EP, This Thing Of Ours, in April.

The 8-track project saw features from Earl Sweatshirt, Navy Blue, Boldy James, Sideshow, Pink Siifu, and Maxo, and was quickly praised by listeners for its melodic beats that strongly support (but never overpower) the vocals.

On October 8, the Beverly Hills-born producer released the sequel to his April project, titled, This Thing Of Ours 2.

Once again, the Alchemist teams up with a star-studded roster. This time around we’ve got MAVI, MIKE, Bruiser Brigade, Zelooperz, as well as Vince Staples coming in on “6 Five Heartbeats.”

The EP is brief, coming in at just over 11 minutes, but the music will transport you to another world, full of nostalgia and intrigue.

Not only is the Alchemist celebrating the release of his new project today, he’s also kicking off his European tour, which includes stops in Portugal, Great Britain, France, Germany and Holland.
