50 Cent Is Stunned (And A Little Concerned) By Mike Tyson’s Dark Answer To A Teen’s Question About Legacy

Tonight, November 15, is the much-publicized boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Ahead of the fight, which will stream on Netflix, Iron Mike was asked by internet-famous teen reporter Jazlyn Guerra, a.k.a. Jazzy’s World TV, for his thoughts on legacy. He took it very seriously.

“Well, I don’t know. I don’t believe in the word ‘legacy,’” Tyson replied. “I just think that’s another word for ego. Legacy doesn’t mean nothing. That’s just some word everybody grabbed onto. Someone said that word, and everyone grabbed on the words, and now it’s used every five seconds. It means absolutely nothing to me. I’m just passing through. I’mma die, and it’s gonna be over. Who cares about legacy after that?”

Tyson somehow wasn’t done. “What a big ego,” he continued. “So I’mma die. I want people to think that I’m this, I’m great. I’m, no. We’re nothing. We’re just dead. We’re dust. We’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing.”

Guerra responded to Tyson’s stream-of-consciousness existentialism with a polite “thank you so much for sharing that,” but 50 Cent had another takeaway. “G*ddam it! Mike ya scaring the kids, WTF chill,” the rapper wrote on X. “Note to self, keep the kids away from Mike.”

Mike Tyson Wallops Jake Paul During Weigh In For Boxing Match

Absolute chaos. That’s the phrase that comes to mind when describing the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul boxing match. These two celebrities could not be further apart in style and in approach, and yet, they are scheduled to get in the ring with each other on November 15. The evening before, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul did the customary weigh in. It all seemed like good fun until the former decided to start the fight a little early, and slap Paul in the face.

The actual weigh in went smoothly enough. Mike Tyson came in at 228.4 pounds, while Jake Paul came in at a slightly lighter 227.2 pounds. The two men then came off the scale and partook in a classic stare down. It’s a situation fans have seen Tyson in dozens of times before. Paul has even grown accustomed to these thanks to his recent career pivot towards boxing. What happened next, though, was anything but normal. Mike Tyson decided to haul off and slap Paul across the side of the head with his right arm. As was previously stated, chaos ensued. People rushed in to separate the two men, and all Tyson had to say was: “talk is over.”

Jake Paul didn’t miss a beat, to his credit. He answered right back with trash talk of his own. “I didn’t even feel it,” he barked back. “He’s angry. He’s an angry little elf. Mike Tyson, that was a cute little slap. I’m f*cking him up. It’s personal now.” Say what you will about the antics of professional boxing, but Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are selling it. Chaos the night before the main event is a great way to remind fans to tune in. In case you needed evidence for this, Netflix clipped and posted the viral slap moment on social media within an hour of it taking place.

Jake Paul proceeded to milk the moment on social media. He hopped on Twitter and decided to take the angle of being starstruck by a fighter of Mike Tyson’s pedigree. “This a pinch me moment,” the Vlogger-turned-fighter wrote. “I got slapped by Mike Tyson.” The internet flooded Paul’s mentions, of course, and the photo of Tyson making contact with Paul’s head went viral in what felt like nanoseconds. These two know how to play the game, and fans will be tuned in to see the fight on Friday.

Mike Tyson Is Shredded In New Photo Ahead Of Jake Paul Fight

On Thursday afternoon (Nov. 14), TMZ shared a photo of Mike Tyson in amazing shape as he weighed in for his anticipated fight against Jake Paul on Friday (Nov. 15). The 58-year-old icon is defying age and expectations with a shredded frame to match his well-known punching power. The Baddest Man on the Planet stood alongside his 27-year-old opponent, Jake Paul, emphasizing that age hasn’t dulled his edge or commitment to the sport. While the fighters have already weighed in, the official weigh-in is scheduled for 5 P.M. central at the Toyota Music Factory in Dallas, Texas.

The upcoming fight marks Iron Mike’s return to the ring after four years. Although Tyson last fought in 2020 against Roy Jones Jr., that event was only an exhibition. This time, he’s stepping in for a true professional bout against a much younger opponent. In stark contrast to his usual exhibition matches, Tyson seems particularly invested, hinting to fans that this showdown might be, as he put it, “the biggest in the history of life.”

Tyson Is In His “Ultra Form” For Jake Paul Fight

Iron Mike’s health has been questioned the entire campaign. He is a -200 underdog in the upcoming fight. Critics believe that Tyson will fatigue by Round 3. Paul’s overhand right has knocked out most of his opponents. In several interviews, Tyson doesn’t recognize as a “real fighter.” At Wednesday’s press conference, Paul promised the fight would end in a knockout. Tyson refutes the claim by promising to knock out Paul and continue his boxing career.

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul makes history as Netflix’s first live event. The heavyweight fight occurs on Friday evening at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The undercard includes the rematch between super lightweight champion Katie Taylor and featherweight champion Amanda Serrano. The rematch is for the undisputed title. With a Netflix subscription, boxing fans can watch the event for free.

DJ Akademiks Blames The Downfall Of ESPN On Skip Bayless

As DJ Akademiks watches rap star-turned-podcaster Cam’ron‘s sit-down interview with Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, he claims Skip Bayless is responsible for ESPN’s alleged downfall in sports media. Big Ak claims ESPN or Skip Bayless did not conduct the Tyson/Paul interview. In a clip of him commenting on the interview, Ak mentioned Skip, saying, “ESPN just completely fallen to shit? And I’m be honest with you: the fall of Skip Bayless was the pivot of sports media to podcasts. Because I’m shocked this face-off didn’t take place on ESPN.”

DJ Akademiks elaborated: “I listen to Gilbert Arenas, and I listen to usually former players sitting around nothing that resembles a sports desk; they’re just chilling. Talking about – not necessarily play-by-play – but they’re talking about it in a barbershop sense. But it’s way more engaging. I listen to Cam’ron and Mase talk about sports, tell their own personal stories, and relate them to the everyday man. Nobody wants to sit around with the highlights playing around them; it’s like, ‘Yo, watch the games on your own time.’ You got Cam’ron with chains on.”

Big AK Says Skip Bayless Caused The Fall Of ESPN

Skip Bayless ended Undisputed, his long-running Fox Sports sports talk show, in August. The show featured an original theme song by Lil Wayne. During the show’s eight-year run, Wayne appeared many times. Popular sports analyst Shannon Sharpe was Bayless’s former co-host before leaving for ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith in 2023. Skip and Stephen were also former co-hosts before they split in 2016. The two have discussed the break-up several times over the years.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is Friday, November 15, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Netflix will present the brand’s first-ever live event worldwide on the streaming platform. Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions will present the event. The fight will feature a co-headliner in Amanda Serrano vs. Katie Taylor. There is no word if DJ Akademiks will attend the event yet.

Holyfield and Tyson fought twice during their careers, with the second match featuring the infamous biting incident. In the years after their rivalry, they became much more close. The two even sat down together with Oprah in 2008 to make amends. “This is a beautiful guy,” Tyson said of Holyfield at the time. “Me and this guy both come from basically the sewage, and we watched each other grow to become established and esteemed fighters, you know what I mean? And I just want you to know it’s been a pleasure passing through life being acquainted with you.” In more recent years, the two teamed up to launch a line of cannabis edibles.

Conor McGregor Takes Shots At Jake Paul, Calls Him A “Dweeb”

Conor McGregor did not leave how he feels about Jake Paul up to interpretation. Ahead of Paul’s next boxing bout against mixed martial artist and bare knuckle boxer Mike Perry, McGregor put his stake in the ground. At a press conference in Spain, McGregor called Paul a “dweeb” of a thing, praising Perry for his career with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

“Look at what has happened to Michael Perry, one of our big stars here,” McGregor said. “He’s had such a rise in the sport. Now he’s up against a little dweeb of a thing in a fight this weekend. And we’re all rooting for him.” Perry has grown into a star for BKFC, winning the “King of Violence” Championship against former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez. It’s a symbolic, bragging rights title in the same way that the BMF Championship is for the UFC.

Conor McGregor Calls Jake Paul A “Dweeb”

Conor McGregor was supposed to return to MMA at UFC 303 in a fight against Michael Chandler, who he coached against in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. However, McGregor pulled out of the fight because of an injury. The UFC has yet to announce a new date. McGregor’s last fight ended quickly, when he broke his ankle in the first round of a clash with Donald Cerrone. McGregor’s trash talk is famous, and “dweeb” is remarkably low on the list of insults he’s hurled towards his peers.

Mike Perry replaced Mike Tyson, Jake Paul’s original opponent, for this weekend. Tyson pulled out of the fight out of suffering an injury in training. Paul and Tyson rescheduled the fight for November, which will be the first live sporting event to air on Netflix. Fans have been critical of Paul’s boxing career, calling out the fact that many of his opponents are non-boxers. Paul’s only loss in professional boxing was against Tommy Fury, the younger brother of Tyson Fury. Even in his late 50s, the legendary Iron Mike would have been a challenging opponent. Fans will have to wait a few months for that fight to take place. For now, Perry will aim to give Paul his second loss on Saturday night.

Mike Tyson Replacement Revealed As Jake Paul Eyes July 20th Fight Night

Mike Tyson recently had to pull out of his fight against Jake Paul. Overall, this fight was supposed to go down in Texas on July 20th. Furthermore, it was going to be broadcast by Netflix. This was going to be a huge event and fans were excited. However, following a medical emergency Tyson was forced to withdraw from the fight. It was subsequently revealed that Paul and Tyson would fight in November in the same place and the same platform.

Meanwhile, Paul is still looking to fight on July 20th. In fact, according to Ariel Helwani, the official replacement for Tyson was revealed today. The man in question is former UFC fighter Mike Perry. Perry and Paul will fight in Tampa Bay, and the match will be available through DAZN. Perry is also known as a bare-knuckle boxer, which is a pretty good test of Jake’s abilities. After all, fans have wanted to see Paul fight some real opponents, for quite some time.

Jake Paul Vs. Mike Perry Will Precede Mike Tyson Match

Since losing to Tommy Fury, Paul has fought two aging boxers who didn’t have all that much professional experience. While the wins were impressive knockouts, fans want to see a little bit more from Jake. If he can manage to defeat someone like Perry, he will certainly gain quite a bit of favor. Unless something goes horrible wrong, Paul is still on track to fight Tyson, regardless of the outcome of this match. Needless to say, this is all going to be very interesting.

Let us know what you think about Mike Perry as a replacement, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that Jake Paul will be able to defeat the bare-knuckle boxer? Jake Paul Fires Back At Critics Worried Mike Tyson Is “Too Old” For Their Fight

Jake Paul has responded to haters who think Mike Tyson is “too old” for his fight with the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Speaking with Babcock on the TMZ Sports TV show earlier this week, he argued that the legendary boxer is an adult and can make his own decisions. The interview comes after Tyson, who will turn 58 years old later this month, postponed the fight until November due to medical issues.

“Tell Mike Tyson that. Because he does not give a s*** what anyone thinks,” Paul said. “He’s his own boss. He wants to fight me. He told my team, ‘I don’t give a s*** about this. Like, tell Jake I’m still going to rip his head off and knock him the f*** out. And, this just bought him more time.’ Tell Mike Tyson not to fight and to chill and see how that goes.”
