Is Megan Thee Stallion Going On Tour In 2024?

Just days after Megan Thee Stallion made headlines with her “Hiss” disses, the Houston rapper is once again dominating the conversation this morning — but for an entirely different reason. It was teased hours earlier that she would be stopping by Good Morning America to make a special announcement.

Now, fans know what Megan has planned for the rest of this year.

Is Megan Thee Stallion Going On Tour In 2024?

Megan Thee Stallion announced on GMA that she will be heading out on tour, which will kick off in the summer. It will be in support of an upcoming new album.

“Oh, we’re having the tour this year,” Megan said. “The Hot Girl Summer Tour is going to be 2024, summertime. I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019. So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.”

Over the past few years, she has made appearances at mostly festivals or one-off shows, so it will be a truly special return. Right now, not much else is known about the exact dates or stops that Meg will be making on the tour — but hopefully the Hotties get to find out soon.

Kelsey Nicole & Megan Thee Stallion Drama Continues As Nicki Minaj Reacts To Former’s “Big Foot” Remix

The falling out between Kelsey Nicole and Megan Thee Stallion has been one of the most publicized moments of the Hot Girl Coach’s career so far, as it came hand-in-hand with the charges pressed against Tory Lanez for shooting her in the foot. That trial was nothing short of a gong show, but all this time later, it’s evident that Nicole still has bad blood toward her former bestie. After Nicki Minaj shared her controversial “Big Foot” diss track aimed at the Houston native, her op was quick to tap her producer to remix the song to bring more negative attention to Meg.

Upon hearing the snippet Nicole’s been teasing online, the Queen of Rap shared a tweet praising her and her collaborators. “Oh I am moving to THIS hunty!!!!! Lemme get this up as an alternate version ASAP chiiii. Might call it: Kelsey’s Revenge,” she wrote over a GIF of Wendy Williams.

Nicki Minaj is Feeling Kelsey Nicole’s Version of “Big Foot”

“Stop hating! We working!” Nicole told social media earlier this week as criticism came flooding in. “Watch how this make mfs tap into the city for real! I was grinding in the city [before] I got on that road. Those that been watching me since 2017 know! When I was on the road, y’all’s s**t was getting turned down every time I tried to make s**t happen for y’all! I had to find nice ways to tell y’all it ain’t work out,” she ranted on her Instagram Story.

“I had to say certain things for the H-town legends to even be acknowledged for real! So yea, [shoutout] everyone that turned their back on me, f**k y’all… Respectfully. Can’t dim my mf light! This s**t is in my blood! And I don’t owe anyone a mf thang, I’m creating a way for me and mine!” she further insisted.

Megan Thee Stallion Declares She’s Going On Tour In 2024 And Her Announcement Reveals Other Big News, Too

Megan Thee Stallion has clearly been building towards a new era with her recent singles “Cobra” and “Hiss.” Now, we have some more concrete information about what’s going on: Meg’s going on tour this summer.

On Good Morning America today (January 30), Megan Thee Stallion made the announcement, also indicating that her new album will be out by the time she goes on tour, too. She said, “Oh, we’re having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Summer tour is going to be 2024, summertime. I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019. So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.”

Dates for Megan’s 2024 tour have not yet been officially revealed. What we do know, though, is that the rapper will be at festivals like Bonnaroo and BottleRock Napa Valley later this year.

This news comes after she and Nicki Minaj have been embroiled in beef, although Meg has so far seemed unbothered by Minaj’s diss track “Big Foot.”

Megan Thee Stallion Has Been Threatened With Legal Action Over Her ‘Megan’s Law’ Line In Nicki Minaj Diss Record ‘Hiss’

After years of subtle jabs, Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj have officially removed the sparring gloves. On Friday, January 26, Megan Thee Stallion dropped her latest single, “Hiss.” The venomous record is a striking lyrical act at several folks, including her ex-boyfriend Pardi, DaBaby, Tory Lanez apologist, and most viciously, Nicki Minaj.

As users online praise Megan’s display of wit, one family is calling the rapper out for being insensitive. In a conversation with TMZ, Richard Kanka expressed disgust with Megan Thee Stallion’s line and even threatened her with legal action.

With her eyes aimed at Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty’s past sexual assault allegations, Megan rapped: “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”

As one of the leading forces behind getting the legislation passed, Kanka didn’t take too kindly to his late daughter’s death being used as a punchline in a petty rap feud. Although Kanka admits that he didn’t listen to the entirety of the song, he had a chance to pull up the lyrics and felt that it downplayed the severity of his late daughter’s brutal death by a sex offender.

Megan Thee Stallion has not issued a response to Kanka’s remarks. But referencing “Hiss,” according to Megan, she’s Teflon in the courtroom.

Nicki Minaj “Big Foot”: A Lyrical Breakdown Of The Megan Thee Stallion Diss

It’s been nearly five years since “Hot Girl Summer” dominated the charts, and the track’s former collaborators are at war right now. Days after Megan Thee Stallion’s shots at Nicki Minaj on her new single “HISS,” the Pink Friday 2 rapper responded with “Big Foot” in the wee hours of Monday morning. This comes after a whole weekend’s worth of social media responses, Twitter rants, promo material, and more from the First Lady of Young Money. However, with this diss track, she goes into a little more detail when it comes to her main grievances toward the Houston superstar.

Naturally, fans are debating the meaning of certain lyrics beyond the standard “I’m a better rapper” talk, speculating on what else they could attack each other with, and ultimately, whether this cut is a solid diss. Does it live up to Nicki Minaj’s own hype for it, or does it fall short of expectations? No matter what you think or which side you fall on, there are plenty of lyrics to break down and comment on here. If Megan Thee Stallion doesn’t come through with a response… will “Big Foot” stand on its own two feet or will it limp to an easy “victory”? And if Meg does reply on wax, will Nicki’s diss come out on top, or will she need to scramble in the studio to improve her chances?

Nicki Minaj Takes On The Megan Thee Stallion & Tory Lanez Case

To answer these questions, let’s start with what most people probably wanted to hear about: the Tory Lanez case. Nicki Minaj thinks that Megan Thee Stallion is lying about the whole thing, and offered some particular jabs. For one, there’s the “Big Foot” and “good foot” reference about her being shot in just one foot, whereas she originally claimed it was both. “Bad b***h, she like six foot, I call her Bigfoot/ The b***h fell off, I said, ‘Get up on your good foot.’” Also, the “Everybody” hitmaker paints a picture of Meg “rubbing on Tory toupée” and asking her: “F**k you get shot with no scar?” For what it’s worth, the Hottie did post a picture of the injury on social media, although folks theorize that she was actually hurt by broken glass. Hence: “Glass fragment foot a** b***h.”

Not only that, but Nicki Minaj also roped Kelsey Harris into this, Megan Thee Stallion’s former best friend who got with Tory Lanez. They had a falling out as a result of all this, and Nicki took aim, claiming that Meg slept with Harris’ man and didn’t chastise a friend for speaking on her best friend’s child online. “F***in’ your best friend man is cr*zy, you the type, though” and “You know, whenever I meet a woman that would f**k her friend’s man (And let your friend talk about your ex-friend’s baby on the Internet), I know that they have a very evil spirit” are highlights in this regard.

Carl Crawford, 1501 Certified Entertainment & The Industry

B***h, you better stop that dialogue/ Before I hit Carl and buy your catalog,” Nicki Minaj warns in the song’s intro (which, by the way, is delivered in a slightly spoken-word style that the outro doubles down on much harder). With this, she opened the floodgates on Megan Thee Stallion’s animosity towards her former label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, and its CEO Carl Crawford. After many disputes about royalties, contract details, and attempted sabotage, Megan and 1501 settled a lawsuit, resulting in her current status as an independent artist with a lot of industry backing. Minaj also questions this, as she claims that she didn’t earn the space she occupies in the game by merit, but rather by connections and favors.

Uh, still ain’t topped ‘Red Ruby’/ Tryna steal the sauce, I said, ‘Get up out my cookbook,’” Nicki Minaj raps in reference to “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” That single from her included a line about “not f***ing with horses” that many interpreted as a shot towards Megan Thee Stallion. With it, she also suggests Megan is stealing from others and not implementing her own style. “They got you all them Grammys, but your flow’s still a no” also alludes to this idea that the “one flow h*e” bought her success. As such, Nicki might buy the 28-year-old’s catalog just so she can profit off of what she perceives to be lesser work than hers that is owed to her influence.

Megan’s Relationships With Other Rappers

“Big Foot” continues this line of thought by referencing Megan Thee Stallion’s past romance rumors with other rappers. Therefore, Nicki Minaj insinuates that she used these relationships as stepping stones, and uses sexual favors to rise in the game. Through some wordplay, Nicki names French Montana, Moneybagg Yo, Trey Songz, DaBaby, G-Eazy, and the aforementioned Carl Crawford. “Sort of like French… She wanna party with DaBaby while rubbin’ on Tory toupe/ I guess she needed Moneybaggs for them Trey Songz/ She G-Eazy, Carl made her crawl for it.”

Most notably, Nicki Minaj name-drops her ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine as a ghostwriter. Meg and Pardi had a rough split with a lot of baggage and accusations of cheating, fake artistry, and more. “For a free beat, you could hit Megan raw/ If you a ghostwriter, party (Pardi) in Megan jaw.” In addition, the 41-year-old alludes to a tweet she let out saying that Future “made [her] pay” $250K for a feature. Other lines from Nicki Minaj suggest Megan Thee Stallion is simply mad that no one loves her back. “She just mad that no n***a ever loved her/ No n***a gon’ stand ten toes behind her/ Is it my fault I got good vagin-er?

Thee Stallion’s Mother, Kenneth Petty & Megan’s Law

Nicki Minaj Megan Thee Stallion Big Foot Diss Song Lyrics Hip Hop News

Now we arrive at arguably the most controversial and heavy part of “Big Foot.” Megan Thee Stallion referenced Megan’s Law on “HISS” (a U.S. law requiring publicly available information on registered sex offenders), which most people thought blasted Nicki Minaj’s husband. Nicki and Kenneth Petty face backlash and scrutiny not just for his past, but for their alleged subsequent efforts to silence his accuser and erase this blemish. We bring this up because it gave the Barbz’s leader impetus to reference Meg’s family and condemn alleged hypocrisy. “This little begging wh*re talking about Megan’s Law/ For a free beat, you could hit Megan raw” and “Now, since you think it’s funny to speak about people’s families, we’ll all join in, we’ll all play the reindeer games” target this.

As such, Nicki Minaj mentions Holly Thomas (rap name Holly-Wood), Megan Thee Stallion’s mother who died in 2019 of a cancerous brain tumor. Connecting this to the Tory Lanez case again and other accusations, Roman invokes Thomas’ memory. “Swearing on your dead mother when you lie” is an example, and obviously, so are the chorus and outro: “‘Cause she was lying on your dead mama, on-on your dead mama” and “If you don’t apologize to your mama in 24 hours/ S**t gonna get uglier than KenBarbie, okay? Don’t play.” What’s more is that Nicki claims Meg slept with Holly’s partner (Sigh, how you f**k your mother man when she die?) and points to more alleged secrets. “But, I’m very serious, h*e, the things that you’ve lied about, even pertaining to your mom, you don’t want them out, okay?

Nicki Calls Out Alleged Lies & Warns Megan Of What’s Next

On that note, perhaps the most salient point of “Big Foot” is Nicki Minaj’s claim that Megan Thee Stallion is a false front. “How you go on Gayle King and can’t cry?” (plus “You was lying to the Queen, then you went lying to the King, Gayle“) tackles Megan’s interview where she didn’t shed a tear despite her emotional testimony. Additionally, Minaj brings up alleged liposuction (Why did you lie about your lipo?). The Kenneth Petty debacle also resurfaces, calling his crimes “30-year-old tea, so stale” and accusing Thee Stallion of being drunk and belligerent. “Kylie kicked you out and made you stumble to the car.” Finally, Nicki asks: “Why the f**k is you humping on a minor?” It’s unclear whether she’s mocking Megan asking her this question or accusing her of this behavior.

I don’t think you want the next installment of this song,” Nicki Minaj warns Megan Thee Stallion in the spoken-word outro. “Now listen up, Big Foot,
you know I got a lot of tea, I went easy on you
,” Nicki says. “Soon as your new nose heals, and soon as your -– well, let’s leave that for the second installment, brrr!” As such, she suggests another bombshell revelation or attack is coming soon. With all that in mind, what did you think of this diss track? Do you think Tina Snow will bite back harder, or is this a checkmate from the jump? As of this writing, Nicki Minaj has officially been going off about Megan Thee Stallion’s new song “Hiss” for about 89 hours straight. On Thursday, she began posting a nonstop barrage of increasingly unhinged tweets and today, released her own diss track, “Big Foot,” on which she joins the chorus of detractors alleging Megan lied about being shot by Tory Lanez.

Whew.

While Nicki has almost singlehandedly kept the promotion for “Big Foot” afloat, goading her Barbz into attacking critics, and lashing out at everyone from Jay-Z to TMZ, one might expect Megan to have something to say about “Big Foot” herself. After all, it was an outsized response for the one line on “Hiss” dedicated to Nicki, and she has her own upcoming project to promote. So…

Did Megan Thee Stallion Respond To Nicki Minaj’s ‘Big Foot?’

Although Megan has yet to return to Twitter, let alone drop a response track, over on Instagram, she did make one subtle reference to the beef. A screenshot of the Twitter account @chartdata proclaiming her the first female rapper to have multiple solo songs reach No. 1 on Apple Music’s global singles chart appeared earlier today (about three hours before this writing), suggesting she’s both heard “Big Foot” and seen Nicki’s as-yet ongoing rant, which has referenced Apple Music charts multiple times.

As to whether Meg will deign to letter another bar go in Nikci’s direction or just continue to let her spiral out remains to be seen. But for what it’s worth, this has resulted in a lot of free promotion for one of them with a lot less effort than the other has been putting in. Like another female rapper once embroiled in beef with Minaj pointed out, beef has proven to be bad for business; maybe everyone involved could just stick to promoting their respective albums for a while.

Nicki Minaj Set To Headline Wireless Fest Alongside Doja Cat, 21 Savage, And More

While it may not be the biggest news in Nicki Minaj’s world right now, she’s just been announced as one of the headliners of this year’s Wireless Festival. The fest will take place in July of this year in London and features an absolutely stacked line-up of rappers. Nicki will be joined by Future as a special guest while the other headlining slots are occupied by 21 Savage and Doja Cat. While there are still quite a few spots in the festival that haven’t been announced yet, it already has an impressive collection of talent. Ice Spice, Sean Paul, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Rema, Tyla, Teezo Touchdown, and more will take the stage. Check out the lineup so far below.

Much of the discussion surrounding Nicki Minaj right now has to do with her beef with Megan Thee Stallion. It started when she released her new album Pink Friday 2 last month. The record featured lyrics referencing Tory Lanez and his shooting incident with Megan Thee Stallion. Last week, Megan unleashed her new song “HISS” which took aim at numerous critics of hers. Among them was Nicki Minaj, though she wasn’t named directly in the song. That’s led to a pretty robust response from Minaj.

Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, And Doja Cat Headlining Wireless Fest

Since Megan dropped “HISS,” Nicki seemingly hasn’t been off Twitter for long. She’s posted dozens of responses and retweeted hundreds of fan posts across the past few days. One of her tweets in particular spanned hundreds of words and had fans talking about her incoherent demeanor.

Eventually she followed it up with a response track of her own called “Big Foot.” Unfortunately for Nicki, the song has been widely criticized online for it’s allegedly false statements and lyrics borrowed straight from her tweets. What do you think of Nicki Minaj headlining this year’s Wireless Festival? Do you think the announcement was made now to capitalize on her viral beef? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj’s Rap Beefs: Everyone The ‘Pink Friday 2’ Rapper Had (And Still Has) Beef With In Her Career

Getty Image/Merle Cooper

Over the past decade and a half, Nicki Minaj has been known for a couple of things. Yes, she’s garnered a ton of attention for her colorful outfits, her outsized multiple personalities, and her shapeshifting rhyme styles. But we’re here for the other thing she’s notable for: Rap beef.

Almost as soon as she appeared on the scene, Nicki was either being pit against other rappers by fans (remember when they tried to make Jean Grae vs. Nicki a thing?) or by cirucumstance. In more recent years, she’s been the one picking all of her fights, but in any case, rap beef has become as much a part of her brand as the color pink and associations with Barbie.

We’re going to skip over a bunch because we don’t want to be here all week and because some were about as one-sided as it gets (Azealia Banks, etc.). Here’s a list of (almost) everyone Nicki Minaj has had beef with in her career.

Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B

This is probably the biggest one, and the first of Nicki’s modern beefs, in which she appears to punch down more than up. We’ve broken this one down before but here’s the gist.

After Cardi B blew up in 2017 with “Bodak Yellow,” fans pushed hard to get the two rappers to either collab or diss each other. They did the former first, teaming up on Migos’ “Motorsport” late that year, but some scheduling conflicts and friction led to Nicki getting miffed at the new kid on the block and spending the next year sniping at Cardi for her perceived disrespect (this is a common thread in Nicki’s feuds, as you’ll see further down the page).

Unlike most of Nicki’s rivalries, this is the only one that culminated in violence, and since then, they’ve mostly waged war via proxies, like the United States and Russia in the ’80s.

Notable Tracks: “Motorsport.”

Nicki Minaj vs. City Girls

While one hasn’t exploded into outright hostilities, it’s been every bit as convoluted as the Queens rapper’s other vendettas. After JT tweeted that she “just don’t like Nicki” back in 2017, Nicki declared she would never work with City Girls. However, after a behind-the-scenes conversation (maybe they swapped Burn Books), she called a reset on their relationship, later employing JT on the “Super Freaky Girl” remix, leading to JT changing her tune and going after Cardi (Cold War tactics!).

Of course, helping Nicki to irritate Cardi only seemed to buy the Miami stars a few months of leniency, as she very quickly got into a heated back-and-forth with the other half of the duo, Yung Miami, on Twitter in May last year.

Notable Tracks: “Super Freaky Girl” Queen Mix.

Nicki Minaj vs. Latto

In 2022, Nicki Minaj recorded an incendiary episode of Queen Radio that led to two of her currently raging grudges with Latto and Megan Thee Stallion. Apparently taking offense to Latto’s assertion that women are currently thriving in rap, Nicki made it a point to throw the younger rapper under the bus.

However, Latto refused to take her insults lying down and has to date clapped back in a couple of songs, “Put It On Da Floor” and “Back Outside,” while Nicki supposedly issued her own diss on “Fallin 4 U.” Since then, it appears she’s assigned this beef to Ice Spice, who has made a few veiled references to “Put It On Da Floor” in her new music.

Notable Tracks: “Put It On Da Floor,” “Fallin 4 U,” “Back Outside.”

Nicki Minaj vs. Lil Kim

Before she was taking offense to every new girl getting love and not giving her credit, Nicki was being accused of doing the same by Lil Kim. It’s a little hard to hash out who actually started this one (thanks, Google, your new algorithm is great ), but basically, it was a reversal of Nicki’s reasoning with all the new women in rap.

While their beef has since simmered down (Lil Kim called Nicki a snake in 2017 and mentioned doing a Verzuz battle in 2021), Nicki has since included Kim in her assessment that pioneers deserve more credit for their influence.

Notable Tracks: “Black Friday

Nicki Minaj vs. Megan Thee Stallion

Possibly the reason we’re all here today, Nicki has been going off on Megan on Twitter for about 72 hours as of this writing, dropping the song “Big Foot” and claiming all kinds of conspiracy theories (she also maybe has to let go of the “#1 on Apple” defense because if we break that one down, it’s not going to go well for her). We published a full timeline of their beef earlier today, but here’s a summary:

Megan and Nicki went from being collaborators to enemies after Nicki felt Meg’s joke about abortion was a step too far. Meg also worked with Cardi, a violation of Nicki’s apparent “choose a side” policy, and went on to continue doing her own thing without paying sufficient homage to Nicki. While it could be argued that Meg’s less influenced by Nicki than anyone else out these days, it was enough to prompt Megan to clap back with “Hiss,” prompting Nicki’s current aggressive spiral.

Notable tracks: “Ruby Da Sleeze,” “Hiss,” “Big Foot”

Nicki Minaj vs. Remy Ma

The last of Nicki’s “punching up” beefs, this one similarly revolved around an older rapper feeling disrespected by Nicki apparently stepping over her to find success. Remy Ma had had a strong run in the mid-2000s with “Conceited” and “Lean Back,” but was incarcerated during Nicki’s early rise to fame. Feeling slighted by Nicki’s quick ascent (rap really is wrestling), she began “sneak dissing” the newer rapper before the two began trading salvos throughout 2017 (“Shether,” “No Frauds“.

Most recently, they appeared to have settled their dispute in November of last year, but with as mercurial as Nicki has proven in the past, there’s no telling how long that’ll be the case.

Notable Tracks: “No Frauds,” “Shether.”

Nicki Minaj & Megan Thee Stallion’s Beef: A Timeline Of Disses Including ‘Hiss’ And ‘Big Foot’

Lately, “Rap Twitter” has been in shambles over the genre’s latest high-profile feud between Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj. Today, Minaj released “Big Foot,” in which she disses her “Hot Girl Summer” collaborator after Megan deftly referenced her marital woes on “Hiss” last Friday (January 26). While fans fuss and fight over which of the two is on top (so far), here’s a timeline of how we got here.

Megan And Nicki Release “Hot Girl Summer” — August 2019

As Megan enjoyed her breakout year, she coined the phrase “Hot Girl Summer” to lay claim to the warmer months when her lively music would reign supreme. Naturally, when it came time to release a song of the same name — and its music video a month later — she recruited the woman who has arguably been the biggest influence on the modern wave of rap it-girls that have exploded onto the scene since 2017.

Unfortunately, it looks like love fest was short-lived, as things apparently soured between them rather quickly (you might notice that this is a common occurence with Nicki’s collaborators). A livestream in which the two women met for the first time could be the reason, as Nicki later cited Meg plying her with alcohol as one of her reasons for changing course on Thee Stallion.

Megan And Cardi B Release “WAP” — August 2020

So, a couple of things here: When Megan decided to accept Cardi’s invitation to collaborate on “WAP,” she surely must have known about Cardi and Nicki’s longstanding beef — and Nicki’s policy about picking a side and staying on it.

While Meg choosing to ignore Nicki’s dictate to shun Cardi almost certainly got under the elder rapper’s skin, the success of “WAP” in comparison to that of “Hot Girl Summer” might have been the factor that sent her over the edge. While “Hot Girl Summer debuted and peaked at No. 11 on the Hot 100, “WAP” not only started at No. 1 but it also spent four non-consecutive weeks there and became the hottest topic of discussion in that span, for good or ill.

Nicki Minaj Airs Out Megan On Queen Radio — September 2022

During Nicki’s September 11 episode of Queen Radio, she took the opportunity to declare a few of her latest rap beefs via a series of “blind items,” lashing out at Latto for praising rap’s newfound parity for women and insinuating that Megan had encouraged her to get an abortion while plying her with liquor during her “drive the boat” era.

Although Megan herself was skeptical that Minaj accused her of anything (bless her; she always looks for context before believing the tweets, which is a good policy for all of us, honestly), she was eventually forced to accept that Nicki had pulled a Nicki and decided her friend was actually her enemy. She’s basically the Joseph Stalin of the rap world.

Nicki Releases “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” Taking Shots At Megan — March 2023

When Nicki returned to the spotlight in early 2023 to release her single “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” sharp-eared fans quickly noted a line that appeared to be a shot at Megan Thee Stallion. “700 on them horses when we fixing to leave / But I’on f*ck with horses since Christopher Reeves,” she raps, seemingly alluding to Meg’s rap name, which is slang for for “tall, thick woman.”

She also seemingly cited Meg’s recent brand deal with a certain snack brand, sniping, “Dorito b*tches / Mad that they nachos (not chose).” The previous year, Meg had appeared in a Super Bowl ad for the flavored tortilla chips, making “Red Ruby” a pretty clear shot across her bow.

Megan Releases “Hiss” — January 2024

They say revenge is a dish best served cold and nearly a year passed before Megan got hers. In the meantime, she cleared her calendar, freeing herself of her label deal, and waiting for the outcome of the assault trial against Tory Lanez for shooting her in the foot. With favorable outcomes in both cases, she finally turned her attention back to rap beef, taking inspiration from a cold-blooded predactor on “Hiss.”

In addition to smacking down a bunch of her biggest detractors, she aimed a haymaker at Minaj, rapping, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” The line refers to a mandate requiring sex offenders to register with local governments and preventing them from living near schools — a law that applies to Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty. Nicki and Petty have been locked into a legal battle with his alleged victim over claims they’ve been harassing her to retract her 1995 testimony so he can get off the sex offenders registry.

Nicki Strikes Back With “Big Foot” — January 2024

All of which brings us to today. After Nicki spent the three days since the release of “Hiss” going off on Twitter — you can see a sampling of her tweets below — she responded with a diss track of her own, “Big Foot.” Lashing out with abandon, she repeats some of the most common complaints about Megan’s shooting ( “F*ck you get shot with no scar?”), the younger rapper’s label deal (“‘Fore I hit Carl and buy your catalogue”), and sales (“still ain’t topped ‘Red Ruby’”). This won’t be the end of the drama; all anyone can say for certain is, if you’re already tired of seeing Nicki and Meg on your timeline, it might be time to log out for a good long while.

Nicki Minaj just released “Big Foot,” a new diss track that goes after Megan Thee Stallion and doesn’t pull a single punch. Minaj really went all out, addressing a lot of personal and sensitive things about Meg.

What Did Nicki Minaj Say About Megan Thee Stallion On “Big Foot?”

Minaj said a lot about Megan on “Big Foot.” So, let’s break it down topic-by-topic (all lyrics via Genius).

Nicki Minaj On Megan Thee Stallion Getting Shot By Tory Lanez

“Bad b*tch, she like six foot (Ooh), I call her Big Foot (Brr)
The b*tch fell off, I said, ‘Get up on your good foot.’”

“Like a body builder, I keep raisin’ the bar
F*ck you get shot with no scar? (Brr).”

“Now listen up, Big Foot
