50 Cent Thinks Lawsuit Against Megan Thee Stallion Should Be Thrown Out

50Cent024

50 Cent is not here for the lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion. Hitting Instagram, 50 shared his opinion, thinking the case should be thrown out.

“This Camera man and the lawyer who made this claim should be punched in the head,” 50 wrote. “I’m sorry 2 women start making out, I’m not offended. THIS CASE IS THROWN OUT OF MY COURT.”

The man named Emilio Garcia filed a lawsuit today stating that the Houston rapper trapped him inside a moving vehicle while they were overseas in a foreign country. Filed to Los Angeles County Superior Court, the details of the lawsuit include harassment and a hostile work environment, in which he recalls her telling him: “don’t ever discuss what you saw.” Garcia claims the “harassment was so severe or pervasive” that made his “working conditions intolerable.” He also claims she went on to criticize and fat shame him.

Garcia began working for Megan Thee Stallion in 2018, quitting the year after to work with Megan full-time. This working relationship continued until June 2023.

According to Page Six, Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, states: “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”

The incident Garcia refers to occurred during one of her tour stops in Ibiza, Spain.

“I felt uncomfortable,” Garcia told NBC News. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me.”

Not only was Garcia traumatized from the incident, but he claims he’s been dealing with several mental health issues as a result, including “mounting anxiety, depression and physical distress stemming.”

After the incident, Garcia says Megan lowered his monthly rate of $4,000 to a “pay-per-task” system.

Garcia also sues Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc., Hot Girl Touring, LLC, and Roc Nation for harassment and other labor code violations.

The man behind the lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion is Emilio Garcia. He served as her cameraman from 2018 to 2023. To sum it up, he is alleging harassment and the establishment of a hostile work environment. One startling claim in the lawsuit, however, alleges that Megan subjected him to watch her engage in sexual activity during a trip to Ibiza, Spain. This reportedly happened inside an SUV after a night out in June 2022. Megan allegedly told Garcia to “never discuss” what he saw.

Garcia’s Other Claims

Garcia also claims that he was body-shamed and fat-shamed by the “HISS” rapper. He accused Megan of allegedly saying things like “Spit your food out,” “Fat bitch,” and “You don’t need to be eating.” In an interview with NBC News, Garcia expressed his feelings about the ordeal. “To hear someone who advocates about loving your body tell me these things, felt degrading,” he said. Garcia also outlined in the lawsuit that his compensation arrangement underwent a notable alteration.

Previously receiving a $4,000 monthly rate, he found himself transitioning to a pay-per-task model. He was subsequently required to submit invoices for each assignment. Despite this shift, Garcia claims he was still required to deliver the same level of service. However, he alleged disparate treatment following his work on her Ibiza tour in 2022. Specifically, he stated that there was a decrease in the number of bookings Megan Thee Stallion subsequently offered him.

Garcia also alleges that he experienced various damages, stemming from what he purportedly endured. These include significant financial losses amounting to over six figures in unpaid wages, employment benefits, medical expenses, injuries, emotional distress, and other related costs. The lawsuit also claims that Megan Thee Stallion created a toxic work environment for Garcia. He claims that her alleged actions not only violated professional boundaries but also caused emotional distress. Additionally, the lawsuit aims to recover unpaid wages, along with accrued interest, overdue overtime pay, and any other entitled employee benefits. These have all been calculated at the legal rate. Finally, the plaintiff seeks statutory penalties and wage penalties per California labor regulations, as well as punitive damages based on evidence provided, and reimbursement for incurred expenses, including legal fees.

In response to the lawsuit, Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer Alex Spiro has vehemently denied the allegations. Speaking to Page Six, Spiro asserted: “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed, and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.” Spiro is a well-known celebrity attorney who has worked with a host of notable names, including Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Elon Musk, and several others. He also issued statements on Megan’s behalf during Tory Lanez’s trial. The rapper herself has yet to publicly address the controversy, leaving many to speculate about her next steps and how she plans to handle this situation.

Megan Thee Stallion Sued by Personal Cameraman for Creating a ‘Hostile Work Environment’ and Harassment

megan thee Stallion 9

So Megan Thee Stallion is being sued by a personal cameraman who worked for the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper from 2018 to 2023. In a report in Rolling Stone, the camera man, Emilio Garcia, claims Megan Thee Stallion subjected him to a hostile work environment. Now, get this: the details include allegations of sexual harassment and violations of labor codes.

Garcia’s lawsuit filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles, which was obtained by Rolling Stone, also claims he was fired in retaliation for complaining about his pay and working hour issues.

Here’s where the claim gets dicey. Garcia alleges back in 2022 while traveling with Megan Thee Stallion in Ibiza, Spain, he said she “suddenly” began a sexual encounter with another woman “right beside” while their vehicle was driving. “Plaintiff was embarrassed, mortified and offended throughout the whole ordeal,” the lawsuit reads.

Garcia also alleges Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, criticized him with disparaging remarks about his weight and even contacted him “at all hours” to think about social media videos and to edit content. Garcia contends he was fired just before a scheduled project after confiding in Pete’s makeup artist that he felt he was being treated poorly.

Pete’s reps did not respond to requests for comments from Rolling Stone. The lawsuit also named her personal and touring companies and Roc Nation as defendants.

“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat shaming conduct,” in a statement from plaintiff’s attorney Ron Zambrano, a partner at West Coast Employment Lawyers in Los Angeles. “Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. ‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behavior to employees is definitely illegal.

Garcia recently gave an interview to NBC News. He said he felt “uncomfortable” during the alleged incident in Spain. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just be the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me,”

Megan Thee Stallion may have some explaining to do on this one.

Megan Thee Stallion Has Reportedly Denied The ‘Salacious Allegations’ Made By Her Former Videographer

Megan Thee Stallion has responded to allegations about her made by her former cameraman Emilio Garcia. Garcia reportedly filed a lawsuit against Meg in Los Angeles, claiming she had forced Garcia to watch her have sex with another woman in a moving vehicle. The alleged incident reportedly took plance during a June 2022 tour stop in Ibiza. Garcia claimed he was unable to escape the moving vehicle and was traumatized by what he saw.

He also claimed Meg berated him and demanded he remain silent about the matter. And, as a result of the allegations, Garcia said he had been experiencing “mounting anxiety, depression and physical distress stemming.”

Today (April 23), Page Six issued a statement from Meg’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, denying the allegations, and also denying that Garcia had filed a sexual harrasment lawsuit.

“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” Spiro said. “We will deal with this in court.”

This summer, Meg is expected to embark on the Hot Girl Summer Tour with rapper GloRilla, with whom, she recently collaborated on the track “Wanna Be.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawyer Calls Harassment Case A “Salacious” Money Grab

Megan Thee Stallion’s legal troubles persist. The rapper endured a multi-year case in which Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting her, and now she finds herself the accused. Emilio Garcia, a photographer who worked for Megan between 2019 and 2023, claimed he witnessed the rapper having sex while in a moving car. Garcia was reportedly told not to “discuss” what he saw, which led to what he described as a “hostile work environment.” The photographer is seeking financial compensation for his experiences, but Megan’s lawyer is not concerned.

Alex Spiro issued a statement to Page Six shortly after Garcia’s case were announced. The lawyer, who represented Megan Thee Stallion during the Lanez case, claimed that the photographer’s claims had no weight to them. Furthermore, he criticized Garcia’s comments for being “salacious” attempts to slander the name of his client. “This is an employment claim for money,” Spiro publicly stated. “With no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her.” The lawyer then stated that Megan Thee Stallion plans to disprove these accusations “in court.”

Garcia is seeking several different forms of compensation. He’s seeking unpaid overtime, unpaid wages plus interest, and employee benefits on top of punitive damages. The photographer cited the incident in the car as one of many in which he was made to feel “uncomfortable.” He also claimed Megan and her camp would repeatedly make jokes about his weight and appearance. “I felt uncomfortable,” he recalled. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked.” Garcia was fired shortly after the car incident, which prompted him to seek legal representation. He has not, however, filed an official sexual harassment claim.

Megan Thee Stallion has never been more popular. The rapper bounced back from the Tory Lanez drama to drop the number one single “Hiss” in January. The single was Megan’s third to go number one, making her the first lead female rapper to debut atop the chart. A month later, Megan signed a deal with Warner Music Group that allowed her to maintain her status as an independent artist. Her net worth currently sits at $12 million. The rapper has not directly responded to Garcia’s accusations.

Megan Thee Stallion Is Being Sued for Allegedly Forcing a Cameraman to Watch Her Have Sex in A Moving Car

Megan Thee Stallion is the latest female star to be hit with a lawsuit for workplace harassment after a camera operator she employed filed a suit claiming she forced him to watch her have sex in a moving car. According to NBC News Emilio Garcia filed his lawsuit today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming Thee Stallion bullied him into silence over the incident.

Garcia claims that while in Ibiza, Spain with Megan in June 2022, he accompanied the Houston rapper in an SUV with three other women. He said that she had sex with one of them in the moving vehicle, and that later, Megan questioned him about it, ordering, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.” Garcia also asserts that during the trip, the rapper fat-shamed him, calling him a “fat bitch” and telling him to “spit your food out.”

He says after the trip, his compensation structure was changed from a monthly flat rate to work-for-hire, requiring him to submit an invoice after each job; the change was followed by a reduction in assignments. Garcia wants more than six figures for “unpaid wages, unpaid overtime wages and other employee benefits,” as he quit his job in 2019 to work for Meg full-time, but was classified as an independent contractor.

In August 2023, singer Lizzo was also sued for workplace harassment by former dancers who claimed she forced them into a team-building night at a strip club. She has since requested to have the case dismissed.

Drake And Oddly Enough His Mother Responded To Rick Ross’ Claim That The Rapper ‘Got A Nose Job’

Drake’s ongoing war of words with nearly half of rap has reached a new level of petty. Some would even consider it a full-on family affair.

Yesterday (April 13), Rick Ross released his recorded response to his past collaborator’s subtle jabs. At the end of “Champagne Moments,” Ross claimed Drake underwent a cosmetic procedure. This isn’t the first time Drake has been accused of going under the knife (hi, Megan Thee Stallion). Instead of abdominal etching or liposuction, Ross alleged that Drake “got his nose done” or rhinoplasty on the track.

So, Drake took to his Instagram stories to clap back at Ross with the help of his mother, Sandi. In a text message exchange with Mommy dearest, the pair laughed at the suggestion. When asked by his mother if there was any validation to the rumor, Drake replied: “It’s coming from the guy I did songs with. He’s gone loopy off the Mounjaro. He hasn’t eaten in days, and it’s turned him angry and racist.”

To ensure Ross saw the thread, Drake tagged him in the post. “You’re one nosey goof,” he wrote.

Given that Ross also mentioned Drake’s father, Dennis, a fiery message from Pop should be coming.

GloRilla “Ehhthang Ehhthang” Review

GloRilla’s latest mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, carries a multifaceted message that resonates with the pulse of contemporary Hip Hop culture. Expectedly, the Memphis gem leans into her thick Southerness all through. As a result, the mixtape is a blunt journey through the sweltering streets and the unfiltered narratives of the South. Ehhthang Ehhthang is a nod to authenticity and a reminder that staying true to oneself is an art form.

Glorilla Keeps It A Buck

Straightaway, on “Yeah Glo!,” GloRilla flexes her lyrical muscles. She proclaims superiority over haters, flaunts her luxurious lifestyle, and delivers a hook that sticks like glue. Its unapologetic swagger becomes an invitation to join her in the spotlight. A definitive album opener, it sets the scene for the bold rap star. Moreover, GloRilla is also comfortable with her badassery. Take “Opp Sh*t” for example, a song about having to navigate love in hostile territory. Aggressive rap meets a hard-as-concrete beat, creating a concoction stronger than a four-horsemen drink. But the real gem? Her vivid storytelling keeps you on the edge, waiting for the next twist. It’s an in-your-face ode to heartbreak, convention, and probably even familial loyalty. The former choir girl is keeping things 100, asserting her gospel truth.

Balancing Tradition And Innovation

Tracks like “All Dere” also pay homage to the golden era of Hip Hop. GloRilla’s flow rides the beats like a seasoned surfer catching the perfect wave but she doesn’t stop there. She sprinkles her lyrics with modern references — Instagram flexing, crypto investments, and late-night Uber rides. It’s both a wink to the past and a nod to the present.

Furthermore, it’s important to think of the mixtape as a time machine that transports listeners to sweaty dance floors, neon-lit alleys, and the raw energy of underground parties from the late 90s and early 2000s. The beats evoke memories of boomboxes, breakdancing, and boom-bap. But this isn’t a mere throwback; it’s a reinvention. On Ehhthang Ehhthang, GloRilla takes the familiar and injects it with her own swag. By adding trap snares, distorted synths, and unexpected samples, the production boosts the album’s diverse sound. However, there’s a flip side. Some beats lack cohesion. They stumble, unsure of their identity. It’s as if they’re caught between two worlds — a nostalgic era and the trap-infused present. GloRilla, like a tightrope walker, navigates this balancing act as best she can though. She teeters on the edge, occasionally slipping into mediocrity but when she finds her footing, magic happens.

Collaboration And Chemistry

Collaborations play a pivotal role in the mixtape. Whether it’s the undeniable chemistry with MoneyBagg Yo on “All Dere,” or the fierce energy alongside Megan Thee Stallion on “Wanna Be,” GloRilla thrives in partnership. These features were nearly magical, becoming a testament to the power of collective creativity. Unfortunately, though, not all of GloRilla’s guests shine this way on Ehhthang Ehhthang.

The mixtape includes a few other artists whose verses sometimes feel like obligatory pit stops rather than memorable collaborations. It’s nothing much to worry about, however; GloRilla herself remains the undisputed star. Her lyrical prowess is a beacon: sharp, unapologetic, and dripping with Southern charm. She can rap circles around most, and she knows it. Her verses are a masterclass in assertiveness, she’s definitely not one to play second fiddle.

On Ehhthang Ehhthang, GloRilla Touches All Bases

Throughout the album, GloRilla exudes energy. It’s infectious, like a fever spreading through a packed club. The beats pulse, urging listeners to move — whether they’re in a dimly lit room or nodding along during their morning commute.  But here’s the paradox: while the overall experience is enjoyable, some individual songs fall into the “okay” category. They’re like snapshots — moments frozen in time, capturing the adrenaline rush but lacking depth.

Nonetheless, the club anthems to the introspective tracks, GloRilla paints a vivid picture of life’s highs and lows. She doesn’t shy away from the darker corners — the love for drugs, the tangled relationships, and the late-night escapades. It’s a raw exploration of human experiences, set against a backdrop of bass-heavy beats.

In the grand scheme, GloRilla’s trajectory is more than promising. If she hones her production choices, curates features that match her intensity, and continues to elevate her craft, her full-length debut could catapult her to the next level. She’s already among the best on CMG (Collective Music Group), and her star continues to rise. Ehhthang Ehhthang seems to be a mega-sized stepping stone, and it’s evidently just a glimpse of what’s to come for GloRilla. So keep your eyes on the horizon, because this Memphis native is seeking to rewrite the playbook.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Social Media Boundaries Include Keeping Instagram Off Her Phone, Hot Girl Prefers Pinterest

Megan Thee Stallion spoke in her recent Women’s Health cover issue about how being a dark-skinned Black woman has been extra difficult over the past few years. “I feel like everybody was always used to me being the fun and happy party girl. I watched people build me up, tear me down, and be confused about their expectations of me,” she told the outlet. “As a Black woman, as a darker Black woman, I also feel like people expect me to take the punches, take the beating, take the lashings, and handle it with grace. But I’m human,” Meg reflected. Many readers resonated with her sentiment and were happy to hear the black-haired beauty discuss her relationship with social media at an ADWeek event.

“You know what I really like? Pinterest,” Thee Stallion shared, praising the mood-boarding platform that has minimal interaction with others. While she loves the app, the 29-year-old isn’t ready to give out her handle to the hotties. Still, she did fill us in on what kinds of things she’s been saving to her various boards. “I deleted Instagram and Twitter off my phone. I have TikTok and I have Pinterest,” Megan said. “Pinterest is, like, the best app in my opinion right now because I can curate what I want to see.”

“I can literally get on there and see what I want to see. Like, if I want to see puppies all day, that’s what I see. My Pinterest is makeup, puppies, breakfast [laughs], workout videos, booty shorts [laughs]. I see all the content I like to see,” Thee Stalli added.

Megan Thee Stallion might not keep Instagram on her phone regularly, but the Hot Girl Coach still makes sure to connect with her fans by going Live and chatting with them occasionally. Earlier this week she and some friends stepped out for a tipsy sushi dinner, at which time Meg addressed rumours of a nose job and had plenty to say about her “only best friend” not introducing her to the guy she’s been seeing.
