Future Teases New Management Company As He Preps Metro Boomin Collab Album

Future is easily one of the biggest influences on today’s generation. Overall, he has classic mixtapes and albums that will stand the test of time. Furthermore, he continues to make music at a high level. His project I Never Liked You was a massive success back in 2022, and it continues to get a significant amount of streams. Moving forward, the artist is going to be dropping even more great albums. For instance, he is currently working on a new project with Metro Boomin.

This is an album that the fans have been waiting on for a long time at this point. Overall, it is one that is very much needed. Metro has three albums coming out this year, and Metro Pluto is going to be one of them. However, it seems like Future has a lot more on his mind than just creating some albums. While taking to Twitter last night, the artist revealed that he is starting his own management company. “New year – New ventures. Starting my new management company 2024,” he wrote.

Future Is Going Hard This Year

In a separate tweet, he followed this up by saying, “Very grateful for everyone who played some type of role in my career up to this point…more to come.” Needless to say, the artist is feeling inspired heading into this new year. He already has the Freebandz label, so perhaps this new venture will be an extension of that. Either way, Future has a lot of connections and he knows the ins and outs of the business. By extension, his management company already has some tools for success.

Hopefully, we get more details on these ventures very soon. As it pertains to Metro Pluto, we would love to get that album sooner rather than later. Scooter Braun: Sources Say Music Exec Is “Imploding,” Unsavoury Revelations Expected To Come

The headlines surrounding Scooter Braun’s name over the past few days have been nothing short of confusing. It was initially reported that he and longtime client Justin Bieber will be parting ways, leaving many music lovers shocked. However, shortly after that gossip hit the internet, sources confirmed that the pair plan to resume working together in the future. While that provided a sigh of relief to some, Variety dropped a report on Tuesday (August 22) with sources claiming that Braun will be walking away from the world of artist management.

Aside from the Bieber rumour, Demi Lovato has also amicably parted ways with SB Projects, and word has it that Ariana Grande is looking elsewhere too. This would mark the second time that she and Braun have gone their separate ways, though sources close to the industry exec are strenuously denying that update. It’s become increasingly hard to get any straight answers regarding the situation, though Variety‘s insiders are saying that Scooter will be focusing more on his role as the CEO of HYBE America, and less on the day-to-day management of artists.

Is Scooter Braun’s Career as We Know It Over?

“People are spreading rumours based on what they know, but they are off. Scooter’s team at SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like,” one person told the outlet. However, there are still some insisting that this is the end of an era for Braun. “He’s imploding,” another source stated. “It’s a different world since the pandemic. You just can’t be an asshole like that anymore.”

While word of Scooter Braun’s alleged implosion continues to circulate through the headlines, it’s worth noting that it was only a few months ago that he struck up a $300M deal with Quality Control heads Coach K, and P. At the time, the executive seemed confident in the future of HYBE, as well as his other endeavours. Justin Bieber & Scooter Braun Management Deal Will Continue, Sources Confirm

In the music industry today, it’s rare to see artists find managers that they’re able to work with as they evolve for more than a few years. Of course, there are exceptions like Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun. They’ve been together since the Canadian was just a young boy from Stratford, Ontario sharing singing videos in his living room. Due to his many health struggles, Bieber has taken some time out of the spotlight as of late. On Friday (August 18), reports began circulating via Puck that he and Braun haven’t spoken in several months.

According to the original gossip tip, the “Baby” hitmaker has been shopping around for new management options. Rumour has it that lawyers are even involved. However, just hours after that news hit the net, Entertainment Tonight shared an exclusive report stating that Braun and his client have no bad blood between them. “Justin and Scooter are still working together. Justin is not taking meetings to look for new management. The two recently worked on something together,” multiple people have told the outlet.

Justin Bieber Not Seeking Out New Manager

It’s unclear exactly what they’re cooking up, but the last time we heard from the vocalist was early on in 2023. At the time, he joined Future to bring back everyone’s favourite R&Bieber vibes on Don Toliver’s Love Sick album. Their joint effort is called “Private Landing,” and has left fans hoping we’ll hear the 29-year-old revisit his Journals era. Months before that, he and the Cactus Jack artist connected on another hit single, “Honest.”

While there have been questions raised about the status of his relationship with one of his longest-standing clients, Scooter Braun’s talent roster definitely isn’t hurting. Apart from having both The Kid LAROI and Ariana Grande under his wing, the industry executive also recently signed rising rap diva Kaliii. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more music/pop culture news updates.

Normani Inks Deal With New Management Team

Normani has parted ways with her with longtime management company S10 Entertainment, according to new reports. Per Rolling Stone, the “Wild Side” singer has signed with the same management team as other heavy hitters like Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, and Coco Jones. Normani reportedly separated from S10 Entertainment’s Brandon Silverstein back in May. The decision comes after rumors that the singer is working on new music.

The team consists of Brandon Creed and Lydia Asrat, both well-known figures in the industry. Asat worked with Doja Cat from 2017 until March 2022 and landed herself a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list last year. In a statement to Rolling Stone, the singer expressed her good wishes to her former manager. “With new music on the horizon, and Asrat and Creed now at the helm of her musical career, she and the rest of her team are extremely excited to embark on this new chapter and partnership,” a rep for the singer said.

Normani’s Next Chapter

In 2018, Normani embarked on her solo career after it was revealed that Fifth Harmony’s hiatus would be indefinite. Despite not yet releasing her own debut album, she kept her fans fed by releasing singles sporadically over the last several years. Tracks like 2019’s “Motivation, 2021’s “Wild Side” with Cardi B, and 2022’s “New To You,” in which she appeared alongside Tinashe and Calvin Harris. However, it may not be enough to calm fans’ incessant requests for new music from the singer. Overall, the direction of her career is often a hot topic across social media, with fans wondering what’s next for Normani.

Recently, in a new advertisement with Bose, Normani gave fans a taste of what they could expect regarding her next project. In June, while debuting her latest single, “Candy Paint,” she told Billboard that while the wait has been “extensive,” it’s definitely going to be worth the wait. “In terms of my career and my music, I know the wait has been extensive, but it’s definitely going to be worth it,” she said. Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates from the music world. Additionally, let us know what you think of this move, down below.

Moneybagg Yo Says He Doesn’t Have Management

Moneybagg Yo is quickly becoming one of the most popular rappers in the game. Thanks to his hard-hitting sound and several hit songs, he continues to put on for the South’s booming scene.

During a recent brief interview, however, he surprisingly reveals that he doesn’t even have a management team.

During the Rap Snacks Disrupt Event, hip-hop media personality Supa Cindy asked the 31-year-old how he chooses what to participate in on the business side of his career.

“At this moment, I really don’t have management, you know what I’m sayin’? I feel like my team, CMG, Ellis and Bread Gang, all of us align together and we make things happen. And we make it look good, look at where we’re at now, you know what I’m sayin’? So at this point in time, unfortunately I don’t, but you know, it is what it is,” reveals the “Time Today” rapper.

Regardless, the 31-year-old has certainly been seeing plenty of success lately. Yo Gotti signed Moneybagg to his label, Collective Music Group (CMG) in 2016. Just last year, the team dropped their first compilation mixtape, Gangsta Art. Moneybagg makes several appearances on the 27-track project. This includes two of the most popular songs, “Steppers” and his solo track, “See Wat I’m Sayin.”

Of course, the Memphis native is still fresh off the release of his newest single, “On Wat U On.” Featuring GloRilla, the track finds the two CMG signees going back and forth in the format of a couple arguing.

Additionally, it seems as though the “Wockesha” rapper is gearing up to drop another project. Last Sunday (January 8), he took to his social media accounts to begin teasing a new 22-track tape. His last album, A Gangsta’s Pain, arrived in 2021. “My Album Is A Heartless Edition Hope Y’all Ready,” he writes in his tweet.

Nicki Minaj In Talks To Sign New Management Deal

Nicki Minaj is shopping for a new management team, according to Billboard.

The “Super Freaky Girl” star reportedly met with Melissa Ruderman of Range Media Partners, though there are conflicting reports about whether she inked a deal or not. Some sources claim she inked the deal months ago but reps for Nicki and Ruderman denied this to be true.

“Nicki is currently in discussions with management companies and has not yet partnered with anyone,” Minaj’s rep said in a statement. Ruderman added that she hasn’t partnered with Nicki Minaj.

Nicki’s basically self-managed her career since spring of 2022. She previously worked with Wassim “Sal” Slaiby of SALXCO, the management team behind The Weeknd and Doja Cat. She announced their partnership in 2021. Prior to that, Nicki worked with Irving Azoff of Full Stop Management from 2019 to 2021. Before then, Gee Roberson and Cortez Bryant managed Nicki’s career.

Ruderman has a history of working with superstars, stemming back to 2005 during a partnership with Mariah Carey. Range Media Partners also has a wide-range of high-profile clients in film, music and other entertainment sectors.

For Nicki to seek new management appears to be a promising sign that new music is on the way. Last year, the Queen MC released a slew of singles in anticipation of her forthcoming effort including “Do We Have A Problem?” and “We Go Up” ft. Fivio Foreign. However, she dominated the summer with “Super Freaky Girl,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100.

Her last album, Queen, dropped in August 2018.

We’ll keep you posted on any more updates surrounding Nicki Minaj’s upcoming album.
