Akademiks Disses Yung Miami, Claims Her Only Talent Is “Pimping” Men: Video

Thanks to her work in the City Girls, on her Caresha Please podcast, and more recently, as a supporting actress, Yung Miami has amassed an impressive fanbase throughout her career so far. Today (May 30), DJ Akademiks reminded us that he’s not a member of the rap diva’s club of supporters. In fact, he said some hateful things about her during a live stream which is now making rounds online. In one clip reposted to @theneighborhoodtalk, the media personality discredits Miami’s entire resume, declaring that she’s a “one-trick pony,” and the only thing up her sleeve is “pimping men.”

“Yung Miami, who recently did an interview saying she was tired of sharing a man,” Ak began his rant. “You know, I keep telling you, Yung Miami is, to me, a clown… She is not talented to do anything else. The only acting talent is to be like, ‘Yo, I’m pimping these dudes out,’” he continued to slam the mother of two. Afterward, he accused Caresha of “crying” after talking about her love life in the media.

Akademiks Gets Some Thoughts About Yung Miami Off His Chest

Fans of the Florida native and/or the blogger may recall their last feud, which took place in late 2022. At the time, Akademiks labelled Miami a “side chick” for her role in Diddy’s life, which has notably diminished since he welcomed a new baby girl, Love Sean Combs, with Dana Tran. The New Yorker wound up sending Ak a direct message over his comments, which the former claims left the “Twerkulator” artist emotionally wounded.

In the comments of the live stream repost, one user pointed out that the embattled entertainer has a controversial history with some “one-trick ponies” himself. “Didn’t you YOURSELF, DJ AKADEMIKS, BUT CELINA POWELL A G-WAGON? 😒😒🤔🤔🤔🤔. DaniLeigh Arrested For DUI Hit & Run On Memorial Day Long Weekend

Earlier this month, DaniLeigh celebrated one of the biggest milestones in her career so far – working with Beyonce on choreography for the RENAISSANCE World Tour. Unfortunately, it appears the mother of one took her celebrating a bit too seriously, as she was arrested for a DUI hit and run early on Tuesday (May 30) morning. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Dani was driving near Miami Beach when multiple witnesses noticed her swerving in and out of lanes while speeding.

Amid her joyride, the “Tasty” singer struck another person riding on a motorized scooter. She proceeded to drag the moped for roughly a block while concerned residents flagged down a nearby officer and initiated a stop. While speaking with Dani, the policeman noticed that she smelled distinctly of alcohol. The field sobriety tests he conducted on her ultimately failed, and her breathalyzer test didn’t yield flattering results either. Dani first blew a 0.145, as well as a 0.148 afterward, which is nearly twice the legal limit.

DaniLeigh Ends Memorial Day Weekend with Three Felony Charges

The 28-year-old was cuffed and taken to jail, where she was promptly handed three felony charges. As per the outlet, Dani is not facing driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property. Her alleged victim is alive but did require treatment at a local hospital. According to police, he suffered a kidney laceration and a spinal fracture as a result of the accident.

TMZ reached out to the dancer’s team for comment but has yet to hear back. Aside from working with Beyonce, DaniLeigh was also making her presence felt this spring with her first new single in a minute, “Tasty.” The wildly salacious song received much better reviews online than another from her discography, “Yellow Bone,” which earned the artist plenty of backlash after dropping it. Miami said, ‘That’s a motherf*cking thong, b*tch!’” a friend recording behind the camera yells out. The City Girl nonchalantly walks past two people while showing off her goods, both of whom awkwardly stroll away as she proudly lets her star power shine.

The two figures have been trading shots on social media over the past few days, with things becoming increasingly personal. Earlier today, MMG artist Gunplay even posted a video of him and Envy on the phone, at which time The Breakfast Club host attempted to apologize to him for the slander, though the rapper didn’t want to hear it.

By now, the New Yorker is accustomed to the hate, so it was certainly nice to see a positive response from Gillie Da Kid on Sunday (May 28). DJ Envy & Gunplay Go Back-And-Forth During Heated Phone Call: Video

It’s been a busy few weeks for DJ Envy – and not in a good way. The Breakfast Club host has been preparing for his upcoming car show, which is a tribute to the late Young Dolph, in between feuding with guests on his show like Chloe Bailey and Eboni K. Williams. More recently, it’s been Rick Ross who the radio personality is bumping heads with. What started out as friendly banter between the two, who are both planning similar events, quickly turned into two grown men hurling insults at each other online. At one point, Envy even referred to the Biggest Boss as a “correctional officer,” only deepening their beef.

Several celebrities have decided to remain neutral in the feud, while others, such as Gunplay, are obviously on Ross’ side. On Monday (May 29) afternoon, a video of Envy speaking on the phone with the MMG Group artist surfaced online. While the former was ready to apologize for some of his past comments that Gunplay obviously took to heart, the latter didn’t want to hear it and continued to lash out at the producer while recording the phone laying in front of him. “Why you talking crazy man?” the reality star asked Envy. “Talk crazy about who?” he responded.

DJ Envy Apologizes to Gunplay

The self-proclaimed “godfather of mixing it up” also finds himself “naturally attracted to things that other people might find too obscure or too complicated.” Obviously, he’s referring to the hilarious shirt he sported during a recent trip to Japan, fully clad with miniature versions of him running through Paris in his Timbs.
