Swizz Beatz Sued For Allegedly Receiving Millions In Stolen Funds

Swizz Beatz now finds himself in the middle of one of the world’s largest current corruption scandals. Moreover, according to court documents reportedly obtained by AllHipHop, authorities filed a lawsuit in New York on Wednesday (October 2) accusing him of receiving $7.3 million of stolen funds from Jho Low and his associates amid the 1MDB scheme. For those unaware, according to officials, this refers to the theft of billions of dollars from the Malaysian state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) by business fugitive Jho Low and others, including associate Eric Tan. It’s important to note that the Ruff Ryder producer’s connection is still an alleged one at press time, and that Low denies any involvement.

Furthermore, liquidators sued Swizz Beatz for both intentional and constructive fraudulent conveyance, as well as unjust enrichment. But he wasn’t the only hip-hop star that came up in this case. Authorities convicted Fugees member Pras last year for attempting to stop the United States’ investigations into Jho Low. Back to Swizz, though, real name Kasseem Dean: “As the 1MDB Fraud was underway, Jho Low became a well-known figure in the Hollywood scene and developed a reputation as a businessman with deep pockets and a penchant for hosting lavish, star-studded parties and group vacations,” the lawsuit against him reads. Throughout the early 2010s, Low befriended many U.S. celebrities including Dean and his wife Alicia Keys.”

Liquidators want to recoup the cash stolen from the 1MDB-linked Affinity Equity International Partners Limited and Alsen Chance Holdings Limited, which were in liquidation processes in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). “Between September 21, 2012 and September 4, 2014, Jho Low and/or Eric Tan caused the debtors to transfer $7,300,000 to defendants and, during that same time period, the debtors did not receive any money back from the defendants or any other consideration from the defendants in exchange for the fraudulent transfers,” the suit continued. “Consequently, a net amount of $7,300,000 was conveyed from the debtors to the defendants.” Alsen Chance reportedly handed $1.5 million to the Verzuz creative’s company in September of 2012. Two payments of $1 million and $800K followed in October.

On the other hand, Affinity reportedly paid Swizz Beatz’s Monza Studios $800K in November 2013, with $1 million more arriving in December. The Elon Musk partner also received $500K in June 2014, $300K in July, $1.4 million in September, per the court documents’ allegations. Through incorporation under the BVI Companies Act, the BVI Court appointed liquidators to Alsen Chance and Affinity to contribute to “global asset recovery efforts for the benefit of the debtors’ creditors, being 1MDB and SRC International, and therefore ultimately the people of Malaysia.” Liquidators seek $3.3 million in damages from Swizz Beatz Productions, $1.8 million from Monza Studios, and $2.2 million from Swizz himself, as well as other legal fees.

Diddy Accuser Unveils Shocking List Of Mogul’s Alleged Party Guests

One of the several individuals taking legal action against Diddy, Adria Sheri English, recently sat down with DailyMail to discuss her alleged experiences with the mogul. She alleges that she was made to participate in his alleged freak offs after she was hired to be a go-go dancer at his parties. English alleges that the freak offs would take place in secluded areas of Diddy’s home away from the main party. Based on this description, not all party guests would have been aware of what was allegedly going on.

She also recalled various high-profile celebrities allegedly attending Diddy’s parties. She did not accuse them specifically of participating in or knowing about the alleged freak offs. “I saw Busta Rhymes there, I saw Ja Rule there, I saw Diana Ross there with her son, Evan, who was underage,” she alleged of the Bad Boy founder’s infamous events.

Adria Sheri English Details Diddy Parties In New Interview

“I saw Paris Hilton and Reverend Al Sharpton. I still wonder why Reverend Al Sharpton was there,” she also alleged. English claims that she agreed to dance at Diddy’s parties with no idea that she’d ever allegedly be expected to do anything more. “I agreed to do it because, heck yeah, I’m at an exclusive thing where Jay-Z was there, and Beyoncé – Diddy, all the big names… I didn’t know it was going to turn into anything sexual,” she alleged.

According to her, her first paid event seemed “legitimate.” Allegedly, it “had no sinister intent or requirements for physical sexual contact.” What do you think of one of the women suing Diddy recalling the celebrities she allegedly saw at his parties? Floyd Mayweather Gets Sued For Allegedly Slapping Exotic Dancer During Dispute

An exotic dancer has come forward with some upsetting accusations against Floyd Mayweather, whose Las Vegas gentleman’s club she allegedly used to work at. According to TMZ, Jasmine Woodward filed a lawsuit against the boxer earlier this week. She alleges that the two of them got into an argument at the venue back in April and that things allegedly turned physical.

In the suit, Woodward states that after she finished one of her shifts, she approached Mayweather to ask about the club’s alleged “failure to pay her for the shifts that she worked earlier in the weekend.” She claims that this upset him. Allegedly, he “slapped her in the face in front of other dancers and customers on the floor of the club.”

Woodward says she then broke down in tears and headed toward the club’s locker room area. She alleges that Mayweather followed her and that the two of them ended up having a discussion. Woodward claims to have told him that she “had a problem” with how he allegedly slapped her. At this point, she alleges that he told her “she could not ‘take a joke.’” Ultimately, Woodward alleges that she was fired from the club.

Another woman named Brittany Strauss has also joined Woodward a plaintiff in the lawsuit. On top of the alleged assault, the two of them allege that the club failed to pay them minimum wages and withheld some of their tips. They’re suing Mayweather and his sister Deltricia Howard, seeking backpay and unspecified damages. A rep for Mayweather, Felton Newell, told The Athletic this week that he “vehemently denies the allegations.” What do you think of Floyd Mayweather getting sued for allegedly slapping an exotic dancer in the face? Lil Pump Sued By Man Who Alleges The Rapper Assaulted Him On Stream

Do you remember the last big Lil Pump song? Neither do we. The rapper has become a lightning rod for controversy. So much so, in fact, that it’s overshadowed the reason he became famous in the first place. The only time we seem to hear about the Harverd Graduate, it’s because he said something outrageous or made a bold political statement. This latest headline, however, is because Lil Pump was accused of doing something outrageous. A man named Edwin Valenzuela is suing the rapper for allegedly beating him up during a live stream.

Lil Pump is being sued by Valenzuela over a live stream that took place on August 12, 2024. The latter is an Uber driver, according to In Touch Weekly. He transported Pump and YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy to a location to shoot an episode of Catching Predators. The premise of the streaming show, as outlined in the suit, is to catch pedophiles and then subject them to pranks and abuse as a result. “Public pranks that push the boundaries of comfort and legality,” the suit added. Valenzuela claimed Lil Pump and Vitaly proceeded to corner him. They allegedly read fake messages in which the Plaintiff “talked” to minors.

Lil Pump Is Being Sued For Civil Conspiracy Assault

Despite Valenzuela’s protests, he alleges Lil Pump and Vitaly started to beat him up. He alleges that Lil Pump punched him in the head and proceeded to kick him in the stomach once he fell to the ground. It gets worse. Valenzuela alleges that Pump and Vitaly urged him to eat a used condom by putting it on his ear. Furthermore, the suit claims that the rapper threatened to feed the Uber driver to gators. “Plaintiff was bombarded by verbal abuse, including racial slurs,” the suit claimed. “Defendants screaming in his face. All while being urged by an attorney to sign a release for a ‘gameshow.’”

Valenzuela is suing Lil Pump for civil conspiracy assault, false imprisonment, civil theft and battery. He is reportedly seeking unspecified damages. This is not the first time the Catching Predators stream has led to legal action. SportSkeeda reported that Vitaly was sued by a man who claims he was wrongfully called a predator during a June live stream. Conversely, the controversial YouTube star threatened to sue Offset when the rapper failed to show up to a Catching Predators shoot in August.

SOURCE SPORTS: Michael Jordan Sues NASCAR And Its CEO Jim France

Reports have confirmed that basketball legend Michael Jordan is suing NASCAR and it’s CEO Jim France, calling them “monopolistic bullies.”

Jordan’s 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports filed a lawsuit in a federal court in North Carolina yesterday(October 2) after the two teams say they refused to sign updated pacts with NASCAR over “unfair terms.”

Both teams demanded more when it came to extending their charter agreements beyond 2024, but neither MASCAR or France was willing to negotiate their share of the revenue. Both teams claim the org. pressured them into agreeing to a “take-it-or-leave-it” offer that if they did not agree to, they could risk losing their charters in the future.

Both teams filed a suit and an injunction that would allow them to compete in the 2025 season without releasing their antitrust claims by putting pen to France’s paper.

Both teams said that they wanted to stifle France’s and NASCAR’s “unlawful monopoly power.”

“I love the sport of racing and the passion of our fans,” Jordan said of the lawsuit in a statement, “but the way NASCAR is run today is unfair to teams, drivers, sponsors, and fans. Today’s action shows I’m willing to fight for a competitive market where everyone wins.”

Jordan’s 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin said, “When I look around, I see that the best and most competitive sports in the world understand that when teams thrive, fans benefit, and that everyone who invests in making the sport a success should share fairly in that success. With the right changes, we can certainly make that a reality in racing.”

Lil Rod Accuses Stevie J Of Allegedly Carrying Guns For Diddy & Recruiting Sex Workers

Diddy has been hit with numerous disturbing allegations in the last few months from former collaborators, exes, and more. Now, Stevie J is facing some accusations of his own in a lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. According to AllHipHop, the former Bad Boy producer is accused of being part of “Combs Enterprise.” This is described by the outlet as an alleged criminal organization accused of various illegal activities.

The activities alleged sex trafficking, alleged drug-related offenses, and more. Lil Rod and his lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, accuse Stevie J of allegedly carrying guns for Diddy and also allegedly recruiting women for prostitution. These allegations come to light after Blackburn contested Diddy’s motion to dismiss Lil Rod’s lawsuit earlier this week.

At the time, Lil Rod also threatened to expose Diddy’s alleged co-conspirators if the lawsuit wasn’t settled. “Plaintiff has opted not to name these individuals in this opposition to the motion to dismiss,” Blackburn wrote. “If, in their reply, the defendants decide to foolishly ‘look a gift horse in the mouth,’ then plaintiff will gladly supplement this opposition memo. And provide the court with the identities of the individuals.”

As for Stevie J, he defended Diddy shortly after the mogul’s mansions were raided by Homeland Security earlier this year. “Whatever someone does in their bedroom, that’s what they do,” he told TMZ. “I don’t got nothing to do with that, I’m just here to say that I’ve never seen my man doing anything foul like they talking about.” What do you think of Lil Rod hitting Stevie J with various allegations? Lauryn Hill Calls Out Pras For “Baseless Attacks” In Fugees Lawsuit

The Fugees may have always had musical harmony, but the group has rarely been harmonious offstage. They are one of the most troubled acts in hip hop, and this reputation continued to gain traction on the first of October. Pras decided to file a lawsuit against band member Lauryn Hill after Fugees tour dates were canceled. According to Variety, Pras is suing Hill over fraud and breach of contract due to the fact that the singer keeps delaying shows. Hill responded hours later, and made it clear that she is going to tolerate these accusations.

Lauryn Hill issued a lengthy response on her Instagram. The singer claimed that Pras has been under duress as of late, and she felt that said duress may be affecting his judgement. From there, Hill goes on a detailed breakdown of the accusations leveled at her. She dismisses Pras’ lawsuit for being filled with “false claims” and “baseless attacks.” She also claims that she gave Pras a sizable advance ahead of their 2023 tour dates, which he has yet to pay back. Lauryn Hill noted that the strength of her name is what led to the tour in the first place. Without her involvement, she posits, a Fugees reunion would not have garnered nearly as many ticket sales.

“[Pras’] failure to show appreciation,” the statement read. “For the financial help Ms. Hill has afforded him in his time of need is disappointing.” Lauryn Hill also noted that the tour dates listed in the lawsuit were being planned regardless. They would have occurred with or without Pras’ involvement. To make Hill’s claims even more damning, she revealed that she and fellow member Wyclef Jean deferred their advances to ensure Pras would have financial compensation. Hill made additional allusions to the bad decisions Pras has made since the group originally split.

“I was not in Pras’ life,” Lauryn Hill concluded. “When he decided to make the unfortunate decisions that led to his current legal troubles.” The singer claimed she initially wanted to stay quiet in an effort to avoid drama. Now that a lawsuit has been filed, however, the gloves are off. “[I] am in no way responsible for his decision,” the singer noted. “And its consequences.” Hopefully the Fugees members comes to a peaceful resolution.

Kanye West Sued By Security Guard Who Claims He Was Never Paid

Kanye West does not sound like the best employer. He’s been hit with dozens of lawsuits over the last few years. Many of them from disgruntled former employees. One claims that he has yet to be paid for the work he did in 2021. According to TMZ, an ex-security guard is seeking unpaid wages, in addition to interest and punitive damages. A specific dollar amount hasn’t yet been reported, but it’s safe to assume it’s sizable.

Jonathan Monroe was hired by Kanye West in August 2021. He claims he was brought on as a guard to protect the rapper’s sprawling Malibu estate at $30 an hour. The hours reportedly varied depending on the week, but Monroe asserted that he worked between 36-50 hours until he was fired in October of the same year. Upon being let go, however, the security guard was not given a dime. The catch-22 is that he believes he was fired due to complaints over not being paid. Monroe hoped that he would be able to get what he was owed in due time, but three years have passed and he still hasn’t gotten his money.

Kanye West Allegedly Fired The Guard For Complaining

The timing of Jonathan Monroe’s lawsuit is ironic, given that Kanye West recently sold the Malibu estate he was hired to protect. The space was renovated over and over again, but never completed. Kanye West is currently being sued by a project manager who worked on the renovation. The manager, Tony Saxon, claims that the rapper refused to comply with safety protocols and turn off the electricity. West allegedly told Saxon to “get the hell out” when he voiced opposition, and said he’d be “considered an enemy if he did not comply.”

Kanye West’s allegedly tyrannical behavior did not prove beneficial in the long run. The rapper was forced to mark down the price of his Malibu estate when he put it up for sale. When it finally did sell, he took a staggering $36 million loss. West has not had the smoothest couple of years, both on record and off. The rapper is reportedly locking into “studio art mode” on his new album, however. Maybe he will be able to regain some of the focus that made him so beloved to begin with.

Diddy Breaks Silence After Allegations Of Sexually Abusing 25 Minors

Diddy’s legal team has put out a statement on his behalf, denying the latest wave of allegations that he sexually abused 120 individuals, including 25 minors. Attorney Tony Buzbee announced that he’s representing the massive group in a press conference on Tuesday, revealing people who were as young as nine years old, 14 years old, and more at the time of the incidents.

In a statement to Rolling Stone, one of Diddy’s lawyers, Erica Wolff, said of the claims: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Pras Michel Accuses Lauryn Hill Of Fraud In New Lawsuit

If the relationship between the members of the Fugees wasn’t already inconsistent enough, things just got a whole lot more complicated. According to a new report from Billboard (Via Uproxx), Pras Michel is filing a lawsuit against the de-facto leader of the New Jersey outfit, Ms. Lauryn Hill, for a “devious” fraud scheme. His lawyers sent the legal documents to a federal court in Manhattan Tuesday. Essentially, Pras and his legal team are saying Hill convinced her bandmate to come on the 2023 reunion tour ultimately for mostly her benefit. It also brings 2024 trek into the picture, the one that was subject to “gross mismanagement”, according to Pras’ lawyers.

The documents say that she lied about how she was going to make. Instead of splitting it equally into thirds, she was going to rake in 40 percent of the gross. Additionally, Pras alleges that the payment was much less than expected due to “bloated” production costs and because of the tour ending sooner. Furthermore, he says that Hill told Live Nation, himself, and Wyclef Jean that they agreed to extend the tour to make an extra $1 million. But she supposedly kept all of that to herself. Finally, he says she turned down $5 million from Coachella to avoid letting Pras pay off his debt.

Pras Is Taking Things To Court With Lauryn Hill

OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA – NOVEMBER 07: (C) Pras Michel, (R) Lauryn Hill and (L) Wyclef Jean perform at Oakland Arena on November 07, 2023 in Oakland, California. (Photo by Steve Jennings/Getty Images)

That stems from his massive number of federal charges back in 2019. Back then, he was charged with 10 counts including conspiracy, witness tampering and failing to register as a foreign agent. This was all in relation to getting money from a Malaysian financier to aid in Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign. Overall, his lawyers are not holding anything back against Hill, as they say, “While the contractual advance paid to Pras enabled him to retain his new criminal lawyers, the 2023 tour agreement was a wolf in sheep’s clothing”.

What are your thoughts on Pras Michel suing Lauryn Hill for fraud? Are you surprised that he’s going after her in this fashion, why or why not? Do you think this could lead to the end of the Fugees for good? How do you see this playing out? How will this affect them touring together? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Pras Michel, Lauryn Hill, and the Fugees.
