Kanye West Sued By Man He Allegedly Hired To Investigate Bianca Censori & The Kardashians

Kanye West has faced no shortage of legal issues in the past, and now, he’s been hit with yet another lawsuit. This time, an anonymous man claiming to be his former “Director of Intelligence” is suing him for allegedly failing to pay him and allegedly inflicting emotional distress. The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, alleges that the man was initially hired to be Ye’s campaign manager for his presidential run. Eventually, however, his role allegedly changed.

He alleges that he was responsible for handling NDAs, and even investigating his wife Bianca Censori and the Kardashians. Allegedly, he’d have the man “tail” Censori without her knowledge during solo trips. This allegedly included the times she’d visit her family in Australia. The man did not specify why he was allegedly ordered to follow Censori.

As for Ye’s former in-laws, however, he had a pretty shocking reason for allegedly having them investigated. The man accuses Ye of having him look into the Kardashians’ alleged “criminal links,” and of believing they took part in alleged “sex trafficking.” He claims their relationship took a turn for the worse when he shared alleged complaints from a former Donda Academy staff member. According to him, the staff member had alleged that students were being abused at the school.

Allegedly, when he shared this with Ye, he was yelled at, cursed at, and threatened with “great bodily harm.” After the alleged confrontation, the man even accused members of Ye’s team of sending him threats. Allegedly, this triggered PTSD he has from serving in the military. The man is reportedly seeking unspecified damages, and Ye has yet to respond to the suit. What do you think of Kanye West getting hit with a new lawsuit from his former Director of Intelligence? What about the man accusing Ye of having him investigate Bianca Censori and the Kardashians? Jodeci’s DeVante Swing Named Co-Defendant In Diddy Assault Lawsuit

DeVante Swing was arguably the most important member of Jodeci. He was the writer and producer behind the group’s biggest hits in the 90s. He was also an in-house producer for Uptown Records, the label Diddy worked for prior to founding Bad Boy. Diddy is credited with helping to refine Jodeci’s image as the rebelliousness alternative to Boyz II Men. Unfortunately, the mogul’s association has now landed DeVante Swing in hot water, legally speaking. He has been named as a new co-defendant in a lawsuit involving Diddy and fellow artist Aaron Hall.

Liza Gardner filed a lawsuit against Diddy and Aaron Hall back in November 2023. She alleged that she was sexually assaulted by both men in 1990, when she was only 16 years old. She claimed that they took advantage of her after providing her with alcohol at Hall’s house. Now, Gardner is adding DeVante Swing to the list of defendants. She alleges that Swing was not only at the residence where the alleged assault took place, but alleges that the Jodeci star was in the room with Diddy and Hall while it took place. The revised lawsuit was obtained by Rolling Stone, who provided crucial quotes.

DeVante Swing Allegedly Witnessed A Diddy Assault

“Unbeknownst to Ms. Gardner at the time,” the court documents read. “Defendant Swing was in the room when this assault took place and did not take any steps to prevent this abuse from occurring.” Another woman who claims to have been present for the alleged assault weighed in. She claimed the Jodeci singer was “leaning against the wall or furniture or something, watching whatever Puffy was doing to Liza.” The allegations become even more damning. Gardner claims that the artist was the person who brought her to Hall’s home in the first place.

She identified DeVante Swing as her “co-guardian” at the time, as she was a teenager and he was 21. She also claimed that the singer “had a duty to protect the child as her parents entrusted him with her safety.” The amended lawsuit further castigated DeVante Swing for “providing a child with alcohol, and marijuana and prostituting the child to his A&R Combs.” Swing has not responded to these allegations. The artist is currently on a European tour with Jodeci.

Dr Dre Sued For $10 Million After Allegedly Harassing Divorce Counselor

Dr. Dre divorced his wife Nicole Young in 2021. The divorce process was lengthy, and the producer would up settling for a staggering $100 million. Several years have passed since the divorce was finalized, but it seems as though Dre may have to pay even more. Dr. Charles J. Sophy, a divorce counselor who worked with Dr. Dre and Young, alleges that he suffered harassment at the hands of the producer. He claims that he was subjected to an “ongoing barrage of threats,” and is suing Dre for $10 million. Billboard broke the news on October 9, which is the same day Sophy’s suit was filed in Los Angeles County Court.

Dr. Sophy alleged that Dr. Dre saw him as a punching bag during the divorce process. “Rather than treating the mediation process as an opportunity for healing,” the suit read. “[Dre] decided to take his frustrations about the mediation out on Dr. Sophy.” The counselor claimed that the harassment lasted over a year, and included threats of physical violence. “[His] frustrations that manifested themselves in the form of a nearly year-long sustained campaign,” the suit continued. “[There were] late-night texts, threats of intimidation and violence, and homophobic rhetoric.”

Dr. Sophy claims that his interactions with Dr. Dre and his wife started in 2018. After a prolonged period of no contact, however, Dre allegedly reached out via text. The producer and former N.W.A. member then reportedly questioned Dr. Sophy about confidentiality. “I’m not going anywhere,” he allegedly said. “Until you explain to me why you tried to talk [an unnamed person] into saying negative things about me to the media.” Sophy denied these accusations outright. Furthermore, the counselor deemed them “baseless” and “far-fetched.”

Dr. Sophy and his lawyer, Christopher Frost, are seeking damages. They want $10 million in addition to a restraining order, as a means of ensuring Dr. Sophy’s safety. The latter is of the utmost importance to Dr. Sophy, as he cited Dr. Dre’s history of alleged violence towards others. Dre has been accused of beating up multiple women over the years, including journalist Dee Barnes and his ex-wife. The rap producer has publicly apologized for the Barnes incident. He has, however, remained steadfast that he did not engage in abuse towards his former spouse.

FBG Duck’s Mother Sues Lil Durk, King Von’s Estate, & Several Record Labels Over Son’s 2020 Killing

FBG Duck’s mother, LaSheena Weekly, and two surviving bystanders of the 2020 attack on the late rapper have filed a lawsuit against Lil Durk, Only The Family Entertainment (OTF), several other record labels, and even the City of Chicago. They reference allegations of wrongful death, civil conspiracy, negligence, and failure to render aid.

In a press release put out by The Dinizulu Law Group, they accuse Lil Durk, King Von, and their associates of allegedly engaging in a conspiracy to murder Duck and placing a $100,000 bounty on his life. “Lil Durk…engag[ed] in, plann[ed], approv[ed] the bounty on FBG Duck’s life and condon[ed] the acts of violence King Von engaged when he knew or should have known of the violent conduct, and violent histories of King Von and other known gang members he affiliated [with],” the filing alleges, as caught by HipHopDX. “Lil Durk knew long before 2020 that King Von had a vendetta against FBG Duck, sought to rob and kill in the music industry, and consistently sought to build a brand of violence and reality rap based on committing real acts of violence on FBG Duck and the public at large.”

The lawsuit also targets several record labels including Alamo Records, Sony Music Entertainment Inc., Universal Music Group Recordings Inc. (Interscope Records), and Empire Distribution Inc, alleging that they knowingly signed, promoted, and profited from artists with gang affiliations and promoted “diss tracks” between them. The complaint accuses them of contributing to an environment that allegedly incited and monetized the violent behavior that led to FBG Duck’s death. It also alleges that OTF is “a hub for the O-Block criminal enterprise and street gang,” and “the media outpost of the O-Block criminal organization.”

As for the City of Chicago, The Dinizulu Law Group’s filing alleges police and emergency services failed to promptly aid FBG Duck after the shooting. They allege he lay alive for over 17 minutes on the sidewalk outside of the Dolce & Gabbana store where he was shot before receiving medical treatment. This is a developing story and we will continue to keep you informed with updates on HotNewHipHop.

Chrisean Rock Responds To Alleged Assault Victim’s Lawsuit With New Legal Filing

Chrisean Rock may be on a new path of purity, but that doesn’t mean she won’t have to pay for the bad behavior she allegedly exhibited in the past. In November of last year, for example, the Baddies star allegedly had an unfortunate run-in with one of Tamar Braxton’s backup singers, James Wright Chanel. Reportedly, Chrisean had attended Braxton’s concert and was under the impression that she’d get onstage to perform at some point. This didn’t work out, however, allegedly leaving her angry.

When Chanel tried to speak with her, she allegedly punched him in the face multiple times and damaged his teeth. Chanel went on to sue her, but now, she’s firing back. According to In Touch Weekly, she’s denied all of the allegations Wright makes against her in the lawsuit. This includes allegedly causing him physical harm, emotional distress, and more.

“As a result of [James’] conduct and actions, [James] is estopped, in whole, or in part, from asserting any of their claims against [Chrisean],” her legal filing reads. Reportedly, the filing also states that Chanel is “barred” from “recovering any damages against her” due to his own “conduct, actions and/or omissions.”

Outside of Chrisean’s legal issues, the mother of one has been spending time with her son Chrisean Jesus, leaning into her faith, and more. Last week, for example, she took to Instagram Live during bible study with some friends. She got emotional, even breaking down in tears as one friend thanked god for bringing them all together. What do you think of Chrisean Rock firing back at James Wright Chanel’s lawsuit with a legal filing of her own? The Game’s Calabasas Home Closer Than Ever To Being Sold After He Fails To Appear In Court

Almost two months ago, AllHipHop exclusively reported that The Game was going to appear in court to keep his Calabasas home. The hearing was scheduled for yesterday, October 7 in Los Angeles and it was going to allow for him to share why he feels the property should not be sold off. The reason why it’s been in jeopardy of being taken is because Priscilla Rainey, a contestant on his She’s Got Game VH1 reality show, filed a lawsuit against him for sexual battery.

She’s been seeking $7,000,000 worth in damages for several years after the judgement was awarded to her. It’s been a real struggle for Rainey, with The Game being steadfast throughout this whole ordeal. “Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines. Cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin s***! Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her. [They] kicked [her] off the show,” he said in 2016.

Well, even though he was needing to present himself in the courtroom, he did not show. AllHipHop gathered from a minutes entry, “The court notes that the judgment debtor failed to appear or alert the court of the non-appearance. The court will issue an order to show cause re: sanctions this week.” Because of this, this is now the closest The Game is to losing his asset. With a new update coming later in the week, what should/will he do?

What are your thoughts on The Game not showing up to court regarding his Calabasas home? Do you it will eventually be sold off to satisfy Priscilla Rainey? Swizz Beatz Sued For $7.3M Allegedly Gifted To Him By International Fugitive

swizz beatz

Several reports have confirmed that super producer Swizz Beatz is being accused of receiving embezzled money from a “notorious international fugitive” in a lawsuit filed last week.

The suit claims that the Ruff Ryders in-house producer received the funds from Jho Low and Eric Tan between September 2012 and September 2014. Low and Tan were both involved in the same 1Malaysia Development Berhad corruption scandal that got Pras convicted of crimes in federal court earlier this year.

“As the 1MDB Fraud was underway, Jho Low became a well-known figure in the Hollywood scene and developed a reputation as a businessman with deep pockets and a penchant for hosting lavish, star-studded parties and group vacations,” the lawsuit states. “Throughout the early 2010s, Low befriended many U.S. celebrities including Dean and his wife Alicia Keys.”

The plaintiffs are unsure if Swizz knew that the funds were embezzled, however, they are still valiant in recovering the stolen money.

Chris Brown Accuser Seeks $16 Million After Singer Allegedly Ignores Lawsuit

Chris Brown is caught up in another legal conflict. The pop star has been called out by a former assault accuser over an incident dating back to February 2023. The accuser, Abe Diaw, alleges that Chris Brown smashed a bottle of liquor over his head during a confrontation at a nightclub. Diaw filed a lawsuit due to the injuries he suffered, but allegedly heard nothing in return. The Blast reports that Diaw is now seeking a $16 million default judgement. This is due to the fact that Breezy has allegedly ignored the lawsuit. The accuser goes as far as to claim he served the singer at his residence twice, in February and April.

Abe Diaw’s motion lays out the specifics of the Chris Brown situation as he sees it. “[Brown] has failed to file any response,” the document reads. “To the complaint or the first amended complaint, exceeding the statutory time limit for doing so.” He goes on to accuse Brown of being “non-compliant,” and cites the number of days since he was allegedly served. “As of October 1, 2024,” he adds. “It has been 141 days since the defendant was served with the first amended complaint.”

Chris Brown Was Allegedly Served Back In February

Abe Diaw claims to have suffered a number of serious injuries from Chris Brown’s alleged attack. In the court documents, he claims that he was knocked unconscious by the broken bottle. He also claims that the singer stomped on his body following the initial strike. Diaw went on cite doctor’s reports regarding his physical condition. In particular, the torn ligaments and head injuries he allegedly suffered as a result. The lawsuit was initially filed in October 2023. As of October 2024, however, the accuser is seeking $16 million in damages for “injuries and losses suffered.”

Chris Brown’s public image is not squeaky clean at the moment. While the singer has a laundry list of allegations and lawsuits scattered over the last decade, the impending release of a documentary has really shined a light on his complicated personal life. The doc is titled Chris Brown: A History of Violence. It will premiere on the ID channel on October 27. It will also include interviews with several of the people who have accused Brown of crimes over the years.

Chrisean Rock Calls Cap On Tamar Braxton’s Friend’s Assault Lawsuit

James Wright Chanel, a friend of Tamar Braxton’s, accused Chrisean Rock of allegedly attacking him. This allegedly went down backstage at Braxton’s concert in Los Angeles in November of last year. She received a 30-day prison sentence for this and a 12-month probation period. But it looks like things aren’t done. Moreover, according to alleged court documents reportedly obtained by In Touch Weekly, Rock dismissed the claims against her in the assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress lawsuit that alleges she caused “numerous physical injuries.” She doubts that Wright “suffered extreme mental anguish and severe emotional distress, as well physical pain and suffering.” Also, the reality TV star said his “conduct and actions” mean that she will not pay for damages.

“Defendant was crying and visibly upset because she stated everyone was lying about her not being where she was supposed to be for her part of the performance,” the lawsuit against Chrisean Rock reads. “Plaintiff believes […] and alleges that defendant was misinformed about her role that evening. She was only supposed to participate in the ending of the concert performance. […] Plaintiff tried to console defendant and confirmed to defendant that she was not in the designated area as everyone else said because he would have seen her.”

Furthermore Tamar Braxton claims that Wright “got hit in the face for being nice to a guest.” He claims that Chrisean Rock called him a homophobic slur. “Defendant became upset with plaintiff and stated that if he again said she was not where she was supposed to be she was going to hit him,” the lawsuit reads.

“Plaintiff politely told defendant, ‘I promise you, you were not on the side of the stage,’” the lawsuit against Chrisean Rock continued. “Defendant immediately, using the hand she was wearing large, champion-style rings, struck plaintiff several times in the face. Following the assault, defendant was being removed from the dressing room. [Defendant] continued to shout foul, obscene and insulting language toward plaintiff. [This includes] ‘F***ot-a** n***a’ and ‘I’ll hit that motherf***er again.’ A number of other people were in the dressing room who witness[ed] the assault against plaintiff.”
