Hartbeat, Kevin Hart’s global entertainment company, has unveiled an all-new six-episode unscripted cooking series, What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’, starring comedians and rappers Justina Valentine and Conceited. Premiering Monday, November 25 on Peacock and Tubi, the series will later debut across LOL Network’s streaming channels on platforms such as Pluto, Roku, Samsung US, and more.
Produced by Hartbeat, What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’ takes viewers on a hilarious culinary adventure as Valentine and Conceited combine unexpected recipes with outrageous food challenges and lively banter. Special guests from the Tri-State area include Gorilla Nems, rappers Remy Ma, ScarLip, Uncle Vin, Grammy-nominated producer Havoc, and reality TV personality Renee Graziano.
Valentine, known for her quick wit on Wild ‘N Out and her VH1 holiday feature film Fuhgeddabout Christmas, brings her seasoned humor and charm. Conceited, a Brooklyn native and battle rapper with global acclaim, joins her with his own style and energy.
The series is the latest in Hartbeat’s mission to bring fresh comedy content to diverse audiences, expanding LOL Network’s already extensive reach.

Kevin Hart has had controversies throughout his career, but he remains as viable a brand as ever. He’s one of the most successful comedians in the world, and is known to rub shoulders with just about every other big name in Hollywood. When it came to one big name in particular, though, Kevin Hart decided not to separate himself. The comedian was approached by a Daily Mail reporter and asked whether he had any affiliation with Diddy. He immediately shut down this line of questioning.
Kevin Hart was out and about with his wife in West Hollywood. The reporter approached him on the street and asked him to weigh in on the Diddy situation. In particular, his involvement in Diddy’s infamous parties. Daily Mail asked Hart whether he recalled seeing baby oil bottles at any of the parties he went to. This, of course, being a reference to the fact that over 1,000 bottles of baby oil were found at Diddy’s home. There was also an implication that Hart hosted some of these parties, which is not something the comedian appreciated. “When I hosted for Diddy?,” he fired back. “You’re asking the wrong person the wrong question.”
The interaction didn’t stop there, though. The reporter asked whether Kevin Hart feared for Diddy’s life behind bars, and whether he felt the mogul was safe. Once again, the comedian avoided taking the bait. “Wrong person,” he asserted. “Wrong question.” He then walked away with his wife and his bodyguard in tow. The Daily Mail interaction takes place after footage of Hart seemingly partying with Diddy surfaced online. According to Radar Online, one video sees Kevin Hart hold a microphone and address the camera while a woman in a bikini is in the bathtub next to him.
The woman’s hair catches on fire after getting caught on a candle next to the bathtub, and Hart attempts to make light of the situation with a few jokes. Another video, which made the social media rounds earlier in the year, saw Kevin Hart interview Diddy and Usher in a bedroom. Diddy makes some suspect remarks about Usher, who was ten years old when he was taken under the mogul’s wing. Hart displays discomfort over the remarks and tries to gloss over them before changing the subject.
Usher’s Past Present Future tour has been a wild ride to witness, whether due to his own showmanship or based on crowd or celebrity participation. However, on that last note, sometimes their involvement can go a little bit too far, even if it’s a scripted skit. Moreover, Kevin Hart recently rushed the R&B star’s stage in Inglewood, California on Wednesday (September 25). The comedian tries to do his best impression of the singer with a mic stand in his hand, taking off his white vest in dramatic fashion. “This is the new me,” Hart said before covering “Nice & Slow.” “What the f**k are you doing?!” the real Usher eventually asked him.
Apparently, the concept of the skit is that the two misunderstood each other when they discussed whether Kevin Hart could do a song by himself. He eventually left Usher to his crowd, but not before belting out some more “Nice & Slow” notes. It wasn’t the only surprise that the Dallas native faced recently. He revealed that someone hacked his Twitter account amid rumors that the Diddy scandal prompted him to take the page down.
Elsewhere, Kevin Hart continues to cross over with the music world, incorporating his wider forays into pop culture and entertainment. For example, he tapped Lil Wayne and Ludacris to headline his Labor Day festival, and he’s had a lot of other notable moments with superstars as of late. All we can hope for is that the next crossover, whether it’s for a skit or not, goes over as well as this Usher antic. It was a pretty funny moment for the audience to witness amid a trek that makes headlines for plenty of reasons that don’t relate to the music or performance.
Speaking of musical performances, Usher recently gave Kendrick Lamar some advice for his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. “Everybody has this fifteen minutes of fame idea, but it’s really your fifteen minutes of fame,” he told Live With Kelly And Mark. “You have to play hits. You’ve got to get right to it. […] Let’s just say, it’s been a great experience to say that I could play the Super Bowl. I understand how much pressure comes with it and I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. But I would wish it on you if you’ve had the career.”
Comedian Kevin Hart is attempting to shift a legal battle with his former best friend, actor Jonathan “JT” Jackson, out of the public eye. Jackson, who is suing Hart over allegations of defamation and emotional distress, claims that the comedian falsely accused him of trying to extort him in relation to cheating allegations.
In a move to avoid a public trial, Hart’s company, Hartbeat LLC, has petitioned the court to transfer the case to arbitration. According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Hartbeat argued that Jackson’s lawsuit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, should be settled privately with a sealed outcome. If the case moves to arbitration, the proceedings would be heard by a private judge, with none of the filings made available to the public.
The legal dispute stems from a contract Jackson allegedly signed with Hartbeat LLC in July 2021. The agreement reportedly contained a provision stating that any disputes between the parties must be handled through arbitration, rather than in open court. Hart’s legal team contends that Jackson’s claims—ranging from breach of contract to defamation—fall under the scope of that contract, and should therefore be resolved outside the public domain.
The lawsuit comes after the fallout of cheating allegations against Hart, during which Jackson was accused of attempting to extort his former friend by threatening to release damaging information. Hart publicly stated that Jackson was behind the extortion attempt, a claim Jackson has vehemently denied. He now alleges that Hart’s statements have caused significant emotional distress and harmed his career.
As of now, Jackson has not yet responded to the latest filings.
Hip-hop sensation Ice Spice set the tone for New York City’s Fashion Week with an electrifying party at Harbor Nightclub. Organized by George Karavias’ Dream Hospitality Group, the event attracted a star-studded crowd, including rapper Cash Cobain, YG, and former NBA stars John Wall and Lance Stephenson.
The energy at the club reached new heights when Ice Spice climbed atop her VIP section and performed her hit track, “Think U The Shit (Fart).” The crowd went wild as DJ Nicky Rizz played her song “Deli” to hype up the atmosphere.
During Ice Spice’s performance, John Wall and Lance Stephenson were seen dancing and vibing, adding to the night’s excitement. The event marked a high-energy kickoff to Fashion Week, with Ice Spice proving again that she knows how to turn up and keep the crowd engaged.
Legal documents have revealed Kevin Hart ingested Molly during the weekend he cheated on his wife in 2017. The moment resulted in Hart issuing an apology online.
Page Six obtained a copy of the deposition logged in the Los Angeles Superior Court, included in a lawsuit from Jonathan “JT” Jackson against Hart. An unidentified friend revealed Hart initially denied the drug before telling, DAI Robin Letourneau, “F–k it, I said, and I put it in my drink.”
He added, “I had some water there. It was watered down. Because it’s in my drink, I’m fine. I’m fine with drinking. The night is good.”
Hart revealed he then went with the woman he cheated with, Montia Sabbag, and another woman named Morgan to his hotel room. The pair fell asleep. “I had sex with her the following morning. She woke me up,” Hart said.
He later realized Montia would attempt to lead him to the hidden camera where Hart was filmed in an alleged extortion attempt. Jackson would be arrested and charged with two felony counts of extortion that would be dropped.
Now, Jackson is seeking $12 million in damages.
In other Hart extortion news, the comedian filed a lawsuit against his former personal assistant, Miesha Shakes, and gossip vlogger Tasha K, accusing them of attempting to extort him. Now, Shakes is fighting back, seeking dismissal from the lawsuit.
In Touch reports that Miesha Shakes has asked a Los Angeles judge to remove her from the bombshell civil extortion case. According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Shakes denies all allegations of wrongdoing brought against her by Hart, 45.
Last year, Hart sued Shakes over an interview she did with YouTuber Tasha K. He claimed that Shakes made false statements and disclosed information she learned during her employment with him, which violated a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she signed after leaving her position. Shakes worked for Hart from 2017 to 2020.
Shakes’ legal team argued that Hart “failed to plead specifically which statements they contend are false and defamatory or which facts [he] contends are true and an invasion of privacy.” They also stated that Hart’s claims are barred “because the statements challenged as false and defamatory, to the extent they can be determined, are substantially true.”
Moreover, Shakes asserted that her statements were not defamatory and “constitute expressions of protection opinion.” She claimed she did not act with malice and did not cause Hart any damage.
Regarding the NDA, Shakes’ lawyer argued that the contract was “invalid/illegal and cannot be enforced based on mental or physical incapacity which prevented [Miesha] from having the legal capacity to enter into or understand the alleged contract(s).”
It’s been an eventful summer for the AMP Crew, who are only growing in popularity as the days pass. The crew moved out of the AMP house for the summer in Atlanta to relocate to New York, only to face a string of unfortunate events. Initially moving into a “trap house,” they eventually moved into their penthouse only to get booted out three days later. And if there’s any credence to Kai Cenat’s theory, the owner simply used AMP’s platform to move the $30M piece of real estate.
They’ve worked their way around these setbacks and still unleashed plenty of content online, even at their own expense. Take for example Kai’s Friday stream with Ice Spice and Lil Yachty, where they crammed themselves inside the back of a U-Haul truck. But beyond that, it’s clear that their summer domination continues, especially with their recent AMP Freshman Cypher. The 2023 edition found each member of AMP, Kai Cenat, Fanum, ChrisNxtDoor, Agent 00, Duke Dennis, and ImDavisss stepping up to the plate for a wildly entertaining cypher that also included a verse from Kevin Hart a.k.a Chocolate Droppa.
But we have to be honest – these guys are basically cosplaying as rappers anytime they release a cypher. However, in some cases, making music seems like a viable career path if the streaming wave ends up crashing. In any case, we’re ranking the AMP Cypher, from worst to best. Let us know if you agree in the comment section below.
It’s Kevin Hart. He’s not serious, nor are we going to take his rapping efforts as Chocolate Droppa seriously. However, we have to give credit where credit is due since he was the only one who freestyle his whole verse.
Duke Dennis
This one is a bit of a disappointment considering the hype around his 2023 AMP Freshman Cypher. Out of everyone in AMP, Duke Dennis — who recently caught flack for his choice of attire — is the only person who could actually pass for a rapper by looks alone. It’s too bad his freestyle was subpar and he looked just as bored in the video. That’s not to say he’s a horrible rapper, either — he just sounds like a knock-off version of Moneybagg Yo. It’s Duke’s aura that does the heavy lifting during his verse.
Agent 00
The whole meme rap thing is hit-or-miss but clearly, its influence continues to seep through the fabric of pop culture. In the AMP Freshman Freestyle, Agent 00 raps with the ferocity of an angsty teenager, largely due to the shock value. We have to admit, his humor did shine through, even if it sounded like an attempt to test the boundaries of cancel culture with potty humor.
Kai Cenat
There’s been an argument that streamers are the new rappers, and perhaps, there’s no better example of that than Kai Cenat. Though his freestyle felt underwhelming to close out the cypher, it felt like a moment where he could actually pop his sh*t without coming across as completely self-absorbed. Off the rip, he addresses the infamous Tyla moment before gliding through the rest of his track dishing out bars that speak to his come-up: his work ethic, sacrifices, and loyalty. It feels contrived at moments, and it’s hard to deny that Lil Yachty’s had some sort of influence on his pen and delivery. Overall, Kai held his own on this year’s AMP Freshman list and we got to salute his hustle.
Perhaps one of the most obscure members of AMP, ChrisNxtDoor has certainly shown out as one of the more musically inclined members of the crew. Though his wordplay is impressive, it’s really his nasally yet raspy vocals that perfectly complement the riveting and spacey production choice on this record. A short effort by comparison, Chris’ verse in the cypher left a strong impression.
ImDavisss
A few bars in, ImDavisss stops the beat and reflects on how his music career hasn’t really panned out over the past three years. However, the latest AMP Cypher might eventually lead to a record deal for the budding artist. Sure, his raps are just fine but the second he leaps into the harmonies, he starts sounding like Bryson Tiller. There’s a lot of potential to be tapped into it so hopefully, Davis keeps this momentum up and drops some actual heat in the near future.
Fanum
Fanum really showed out as the MVP of the AMP Freshman Cypher 2024. Taking on a laidback, boom-bap-esque inspired production, the New Yorkisms flowed out of him smoothly in a way that had faint remnants of the jovial energy of Pro Era’s early come-up. However, Fanum really pulled out with high-energy, slick wordplay and one of the better-beat selections that positioned him at the top of this list.
