Pusha T Labels Pharrell & Chad Hugo’s Neptunes Dispute “Stupidity”

Pusha T has spoken out on the legal dispute between Neptunes members Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. Taking to his Instagram Story on Monday, he claimed that Hugo’s lawyer is just looking for a paycheck and labeled the situation “stupidity.” Hugo’s lawyer previously complained about Pharrell “fraudulently” filing to trademark the Neptunes’ name.

“There’s not a dollar involved in this stupidity. Just a lawyer looking to drain Chad’s pockets. Unreal,” he wrote. When a fan brought up Ralph Tresvant buying the trademark to New Edition, Pusha responded: “Smh… nothing more, nothing less.”

Hugo’s attorney, Kenneth D. Freundlich, wrote in a legal filing: “Throughout their over thirty year history, [Hugo] and Williams agreed to, and in fact, have divided all assets. By ignoring and excluding [Hugo] from the any and all applications filed by applicant for the mark ‘The Neptunes,’ applicant has committed fraud in securing the trademarks and acted in bad faith.” Check out Pusha’s response to the drama below.

A representative for Pharrell also responded to the situation in a statement to Billboard on Monday. They argued he only filed a trademark for the name to protect them from third parties. “Pharrell is surprised by this,” they wrote. “We have reached out on multiple occasions to share in the ownership and administration of the trademark and will continue to make that offer. As things get increasingly turbulent for Diddy, one person is taking an extended victory lap. 50 Cent has spent months blasting the rap mogul on social media sharing any kind of negative stories he can find about Diddy. He’s been posting about Diddy nearly every day dating all the way back to the original Cassie lawsuit that broke last year. That has also extended to some of the other people who have been pulled into the rap veteran’s orbit in the wake of new allegations, like Stevie J.

Stevie J was hit with accusations that he was gay from one particular lawsuit filed against Diddy by producer Lil Rod. The allegations also aimed at Meek Mill, and neither took them particularly well. Stevie J hasn’t been shy about how the allegations make him feel. He even publicly refuted them and threatening to fight 50 for spreading them. But that didn’t stop 50. He just made a new post to Instagram today featuring the names of various videos and headlines of stories about Stevie. Machine Gun Kelly Takes Fans Behind The Scenes Of His Blackout Tattoo

Back in February, Machine Gun Kelly briefly broke the internet when he revealed hit new tattoo. Rather than any particularly evocative piece of ink, he instead revealed that he had gotten a massive blackout of almost his entire arms and torso, covering up many of the tats that were already there. He got the chance to show it off in person just a few days later. That came when Drake invited MGK out to join him on stage during a show in the rapper’s native Cleveland.

Now he’s taking fans behind the scenes of the exhaustive process that resulted in his blackout tat. In the video he shows how many sessions he had to go through to get all of the ink on himself. Included in that is clips of the scaring and bleeding that resulted. It also features MGK describing it as the worst pain he’s ever felt. He also reveals he used a hyperbolic oxygen chamber in an attempt to help the tattoo heal faster. In the comments though, fans still aren’t enjoying the blackout. “Your old tattoos were iconic” one of the top comments on the post reads. Over the weekend, MGK unveiled his new collaborative project with Trippie Redd. They teamed up for a 10-track, 30-minute EP called genre: sadboy. Since both artists have their fair share of haters, critics were taking shots at the project before it was even released.

50 Cent is continuing to troll Diddy on social media amid the ongoing investigation into sex trafficking allegations he’s facing. Sharing a picture of Denzel Washington, 50 joked about Diddy recording people at the parties he’s hosted over the years. “When them boys show up at puffy crib again, he gone be like, so let me tell you about them people on those tapes. LOL,” he wrote.

In the comments section, many joined in on deriding Diddy. “First of all do not bring even the likeness of Denzel Washington into this filth. That man is a beacon of light and shouldn’t be even referenced in this foolishness,” one fan remarked. Others defended Diddy by claiming 50 is obsessed with the situation. “Poor fif. It’s OK to say your feelings are hurt! This crazy obsession you have with Puff is getting out of hand,” one user wrote. Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami, last week. Afterward, his attorney, Aaron Dyer, described the move as a “gross overuse of military-level force.” He also clarified in a statement: “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.” Regardless, 50 Cent hasn’t shied away from using the incident to troll Diddy on social media in recent days. He previously compared him to Jeffrey Epstein.

The post, which has the comments disabled, comes after Homeland Security agents raided his properties in Los Angeles and Miami as a part of an investigation into sex trafficking allegations. The music industry veteran is also facing several civil lawsuits related to accusations of misconduct.

LOL Wait till I get the tapes.” The post features an edited photo blending Diddy and Epstein’s faces together. The American financier was infamously arrested on a litany of sex trafficking changes and died in his jail cell.
