Chance The Rapper & Kirsten Corley Divorce News Comes “After A Period Of Separation”

Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley tied the knot on March 9, 2019. Though they make a beautiful couple, their union has been called into question on more than one occasion. In late 2022, the couple was in the headlines as social media sleuths uncovered an NSFW video involving a transgender person in the “Cocoa Butter Kisses” hitmaker’s likes. Corley clapped back at trolls in wake of that drama, and around the same time the recording artist confirmed that he had to put in serious work to keep his marriage strong during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite all the praise the Rapper has given his other half in his music through the years, his actions in real-time have sometimes suggested he still likes to be free and have fun. While at Carnival in 2023, a video of the 30-year-old being twerked on by a bodacious woman while his wife was nowhere to be seen went viral. This caused tensions to rise between them, and people began speculating that trouble was afoot in paradise. It seems they might’ve been right, as Corley confirmed her split from Chance on Wednesday (April 3) via Instagram.

Thank you,” Corley’s statement concluded.

It seems Chance the Rapper’s life is all about change lately, and the themes are even coming through in his music. In the clip, he brags that his fighting skills are still “sharp” and joked that Stevie would have a tough time getting past security. “N****s talking about they wanna fight me,” he said. “My sh*t is sharp. Get out of here with that bullsh*t! I hope you get past security.”

When TheHipHopWolf shared the clip on Instagram, many users picked 50 in the possible showdown. “If people did their research on 50 he actually a Golden Gloves Boxer,” one user wrote. Another added: “Y’all mad at 50 for what? A boss doesn’t gotta fight when he has his people he came a long way.”

As for Stevie’s offer, it came after 50 had been trolling him on social media for his affiliation with Diddy. “Curtis what’s good, man?” he said in a video posted online. “You in your feelings about Daphne [Joy] because she with the gang now? Beyonce Thanks Jack White For Inspiring “Cowboy Carter” With A Floral Gift

Beyonce’s new album COWBOY CARTER is a divergence into country music. Many fans were surprised she found inspiration in the genre, but the resulting album has received positive reviews from fans and critics alike. While she’s cited a variety of influences, some of whom even appear on the album, we got another reveal earlier this week. That came when one of her more surprising points of inspiration shared a gift she sent on Instagram.

That post came from Jack White, who has decades of influence in rock music with his bands The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and his own solo material. White and Beyonce have actually worked together before. The pair teamed up for the beloved Lemonade deep cut “Don’t Hurt Yourself.” While he doesn’t appear to have directly worked on COWBOY CARTER, he was clearly an influence. He took to Instagram to show off a floral arrangement Bey sent him. “Jack, I hope you are well. I just wanted you to know how much you inspired me on this record,” a hand-written note attached to the flowers reads. Check out the present White received below.

For fans of Jack White it isn’t actually that much of a surprise that he inspired the record. White has long been a fan of country music, signing and reissuing country artists with his Nashville based Third Man Records. His band The White Stripes also played a cover of Dolly Parton’s classic tune “JOLENE” which also appears on COWBOY CARTER. He also served as producer on country singer Loretta Lynn’s 2004 comeback album Van Lear Rose.

Unsurprisingly, early projections for COWBOY CARTER claim the album is due to shoot directly to the top of the charts. It’s expected to hit number one on the Billboard 200. 50 Cent Keeps Trolling His Ex Daphne Joy Over Diddy Lawsuit Allegations

In the wake of months of allegations against Diddy, 50 Cent has become the biggest troll on the internet. Even before the feds raided two of his properties last week, 50 was hard at work. He took to Instagram nearly every single day for months sharing any kind of anti-Diddy content he can get his hands on. That has also extended to anybody else who is pulled into the rap mogul’s orbit. 50 has repeatedly posted about Stevie J, even as he’s received threats of violence and a challenge to a fight from Stevie in response.

Unsurprisingly, Diddy also used the opportunity to go after his ex and the mother of his son Sire, Daphne Joy. Last month, producer Lil Rod filed a lawsuit against Diddy that made some of the most viral claims to date against the rap mogul. In repeated amendments to the lawsuit he’s called out more and more famous people for their alleged involvement with Diddy. That included Daphne Joy, who he described as one of the rap mogul’s “sex workers.” Consequently that’s exactly what 50 has been hung up on with his recent posts about joy. “It’s lunch time people here’s a little LSW theme music. Let’s stay positive and productive today” he captioned a recent Instagram post. “LSW” stands to little sex worker, which he’s repeatedly called Joy ever since the allegations first dropped. Later this week, 50 Cent will perform at the J. Cole-curated Dreamville Festival. The North Carolina fest was originally slated to feature a performance from Chris Brown. But after the singer ultimately had to pull out for unspecified reasons, he was replaced with 50.

Diddy Raids: Misa Hylton Shares Security Cam Footage Calls Out Feds Excessive Use Of Force

Last week the hip-hop world was stunned by the news that two of Diddy’s properties were raided by feds. They revealed that it was in connection with an investigation into sex trafficking allegations against the rap mogul. They also intercepted his private jet at the airport in Miami where they arrested one of his associates. The focus of the investigation going forward appears to be directed at his private jet flight logs.

While footage of the properties after the raid made the rounds online quickly now footage of the actual raid itself is being unveiled. The most recent taste came from Misa Hylton, the mother of two of Diddy’s sons Justin and Christian. She shared the video to criticize the use of force deployed by the feds during the raid. “The over zealous and overtly militarized force used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable. If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression. The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!” her post begins. In the week since the raid news has been slowly leaking out regarding the details of the raids. That includes allegations that multiple guns were found during the home search. That came a few days after it was revealed that the feds targeted electronics like phones and laptops during the raid.

Lizzo Clarifies She’s Not Quitting Music, Calls It “The Joy Of My Life”

Lizzo has clarified that she’s not quitting music despite her recent headline-grabbing post on Instagram. Instead, she intended to imply that she’s done giving negative comments about her on the internet any attention. In the post, she had been venting about dealing with bullying on social media and exclaimed “I QUIT” at the end in all caps.

“When I say I quit, I mean quit giving any negative energy attention,” she explained. “What I’m not gonna quit is the joy of my life, which is making music, which is connecting the people… In no way, shape, or form am I the only person who is experiencing that negative voice that seems to be louder than the positive. If I can just send one person the inspiration or motivation to stand up for themselves and say they quit letting negative people win, negative comments win, then I’ve done even more than I could have hoped for.”

Beyonce’s new album, Cowboy Carter, has earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The pop icon has truly outdone herself with a body of work that blurs the lines between genre and form. Several huge names have taken to social media to praise Cowboy Carter, but one of the most effusive responses to the album came from an unexpected source: Magic Johnson. The NBA legend is officially a part of the Beyhive.

Magic hopped on Instagram the day Cowboy Carter dropped and penned a rave review of both the album and Beyonce’s impact on popular culture as a whole. The former Los Angeles Laker dubbed Beyonce a “living icon” and a “multifaceted force” in the music industry. He also went on to cite the numerous accolades the singer has accrued over the years, including 32 Grammys and 160 million albums sold. If the accolades and album co-sign weren’t effusive enough, Magic Johnson went a step further and declared Beyonce the “greatest female entertainer of all time.” He drew parallels between the singer and Michael Jackson, whom he considers the greatest male entertainer, and praised her for using her voice to uplift others. “I’m looking forward to seeing how you bring more representation into the country genre,” he wrote on IG. “Continue to use your platform to uplift and amplify the Black voice.”

The post was accompanied by a photograph of Magic standing next to Beyonce. The pairing of Magic and Beyonce might seem strange on paper, but the two have a public history. The NBA legend took the Grammys to task when Beyonce clinched her record-breaking 32nd win, claiming they should have done more to celebrate her achievement. “I don’t know if something can be done but to me, it was extremely disrespectful to Beyoncé and all of her work as an artist,” he tweeted. It’s safe to assume that Cowboy Carter will get the pop star back into the Grammy conversation.

After the Toronto rapper shared a cryptic picture of a Vybz Kartel shirt in the studio, his fans got to theorizing what he could mean.

“Just some context on the Drake studio picture,” one user on Twitter wrote. “Vybz Kartel made a song called ‘A Wah Do Dem’ which was an Alliance diss. He basically went against the entire field. So what I’m getting from the Drake picture is that his response will be against the whole field.”

This week Sexyy Red has been involved in a bit of a public beef with Joe Budden. While everyone came out to criticize the rap mogul following the recent Lil Rod lawsuit and federal government raids, 50 has been at it for months. Dating all the way back to Cassie’s first lawsuit against the rap mogul last year, he’s been living rent free in 50’s head. Almost every day he takes to Instagram to post any kind of seemingly incriminating Diddy content he can find.

That was no different this week where he’s already posted about the rapper multiple times. He’s also made posts about Diddy’ associate Stevie J despite Stevie threatening to fight 50 over his repeated trolling. One of the videos 50 posted today is a clip of Diddy where he asks everyone who stands with him to make it known. The clip is also conveniently cut off at a deceptive moment specifically so 50 can make a joke.
