Beyonce’s Version Of “BLACKBIIRD” Praised By Paul McCartney

Last month, Beyonce released her highly anticipated new album COWBOY CARTER. The record featured her indulging in the sounds of country music. But it also dabbled in numerous other sounds throughout the length of its bulky tracklist. The album features covers and interpolations from artists like Dolly Parton, The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, and even The Beatles. Now, a former Beatle has come out with praise of her version of their song. The Beatles’ song “Blackbird” appears on the legendary group’s 1968 White Album and was written and performed by Paul McCartney.

Part of the song was inspired by the civil rights movement and social unrest in the United States, so it made a lot of sense of Bey to try her hand at the song. Now McCartney has come out with some massive praise for her version. He shared a picture to Instagram with a caption elaborating on his feelings. “I am so happy with @beyonce’s version of my song ‘Blackbird’, I think she does a magnificent version of it and it reinforces the civil rights message that inspired me to write the song in the first place. I think Beyoncé has done a fab version and would urge anyone who has not heard it yet to check it out. You are going to love it!” check out his full post below.

Paul McCartney Praises Beyonce’s “Blackbird”

McCartney is hardly the only one praising Beyonce right now. Earlier this week she took home an innovator award during the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Michelle Obama also took to Twitter to post an entire thread of praise for COWBOY CARTER.

Not everybody has been completely in love with the record though. Pop singer Lily Allen expressed her issues with some elements of the record and its rollout on a recent episode of her podcast. She was born on January 1st, 2000, and this album is seemingly going to pay homage to that. The album is finished, and now, we are waiting patiently for some sort of announcement. Overall, it is his favorite thing to do in the world. Whether it is Young Buck or Ja Rule, he is always going to make jokes at your expense. As it turns out, he has been going extraordinarily hard at Diddy. After the raids on the music mogul’s home, Fif has been absolutely relentless on all of his platforms. At this point, it truly feels as though he is never going to let up.

Yesterday, a story broke that Diddy was on a bike ride in Miami with none other than Stevie J. It was all kind of bizarre and there were plenty of jokes being made about it on social media. Consequently, it should really not shock anyone that Fif decided to get in on some of the fun here. In the Instagram post below, you can see how he took aim at Diddy in pretty brutal fashion. “Smile b!tch, Smile b!tch,” he wrote. “Damn last seen on a bike, Diddy’s Popped!”

The legendary MC didn’t stop there, however, as he took to his own comments section and wrote “You know there ain’t no seat on that bike right!” Of course, the insinuation here is that Diddy is gay. Only time will tell when he will decide to relinquish his current obsession with the mogul.

Countless other fans are leaving their guesses in her comments section, and most are convinced this is the biggest hint she’s dropped yet. “Jack your set,” Cardi captioned the post. While it’s unconfirmed whether or not this is actually the album cover, supporters can agree that it means something big. Of course, critics are also out in full force comparing the hitmaker to other femcees, but she’s made it clear in recent weeks that she doesn’t plan to engage.

During a chat with fans on X Spaces at the end of last month, she declared that she’s over rap beef, and wants to be left out of any and all drama. “I’m so done with it,” she explained. “I’m done with b****es, I’m done with the arguing. Drake Puts His Middle Fingers Up At All His Haters In New Instagram Post

It’s been a turbulent week for the biggest rapper in the world. While he’s been hitting tour stops on his series of It’s All A Blur shows, he’s also found himself beefing with numerous frequent collaborators. It started when Future & Metro Boomin dropped their highly-anticipated collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU last week. The album featured the song “Like That” where Kendrick Lamar used his guest verse to take shots at both Drake and J. Cole.

The song became the most talked about rap moment of the year so far and the more people weighed in the more beefs it seemed to spark. One of the biggest was with Travis Scott. Video showed Scott backstage during Future and Metro Boomin’s Rolling Loud set encouraging them to play the Drake diss. Drizzy reacted by pretending to shoot at a prop of Scott’s head during a performance of their collaboration “Meltdown.” That came in addition to beef with Rick Ross that resulted in the two rappers unfollowing each other on Instagram. Drake’s Newest Instagram Post

Another beef he’s tangentially involved with relates to Sexyy Red and Joe Budden. Budden made some claims on his podcast last week about how Drake must be getting paid to hang out with Sexyy Red. He couldn’t see any way that Drizzy enjoys Red’s company like that, despite the fact that they keep crossing paths.

Red herself clapped back pretty quickly. Her first response was a simple one when she went on Twitter to call Budden “dumb” for the comments. A few days later she hit back again sharing an NSFW video of her twerking on Drake while the pair are on stage performing together as evidence of why he might enjoy being around her. Young Thug Trial: Lead Prosecutor Will Remain On The Case After Judge’s New Ruling

We’re already months into the Young Thug trial and it doesn’t appear to be close to reaching a resolution. In fact, some involved with the case have estimated that if the witness list isn’t shortened the trial could go on until 2027. Whether or not the bold prediction comes true remains to be seen but in the meantime the trial is continuing on despite one controversy after another throughout.

Most recently, Young Thug’s lawyers filed a new motion. They were attempting to have the lead prosecutor on the case, Adriane Love, removed from the trial. But after a newly announced ruling from the judge, she’s officially staying on the case. Video sharing the announcement features hundreds of comments about the judge’s bias. Fans following the trial have pointed out numerous times they felt like the judge was acting overtly biased in favor of the prosecution. “That judge want thug in jail I never seen a trial last this last long” and “Judge is bias common knowledge” two of the top comments on a post sharing the videos read. Messy stories about the YSL RICO trial seem to emerge almost every day. Earlier this week one of the witnesses in the case was being cross examined when she revealed some concerning details. She accused one of the investigators in Fulton County’s District Attorney’s office of sexually harassing her.

That came just a few days after a witness was allegedly forced to take the stand despite reporting suicidal thoughts. The witness was allegedly robbed in 2013 and the prosecution is attempting to prove Thug’s connection to it. 50 Cent is back on Instagram once again trying to spark a reaction from those involved in the Diddy situation. He’s been posting nearly every single day about the rap mogul dating back to the filing of Cassie’s lawsuit against him last year. In the past few weeks, his trolling has extended beyond just Diddy and outward to other people in the lawsuit. The two new targets he’s taken aim at are his ex Daphne Joy and one of Diddy’s producers Stevie J.

50 and Stevie have already gone back and forth quite a few times. After 50’s initial trolling, Stevie shared a response video where he threatened to fight the rapper. Despite the threat, 50 continued to post about Stevie. He shared a series of headlines implying that Stevie is gay and has been dodging gay rumors since even before the lawsuit. Stevie answered that by calling 50 an “uncle tom” during an interview with TMZ. That also hasn’t caused 50 to slow down as he took yet another shot at Stevie in an Instagram post today. “Diddy’s boy friend called me a sell out, He is correct I’m selling out BRANSON COGNAC LOL” his newest caption reads. Rick Ross Reveals He Has A New Project Featuring Primarily African Artists

Rick Ross hasn’t exactly been quiet in the past few years in terms of new projects, but he doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. His last solo album Richer Than I Ever Been dropped back in 2021 with a stacked lineup of collaborators. A year later in 2022 it got a deluxe edition that added three new tracks and even more features to the already stacked lineup. Last year he teamed up with Meek Mill for a full collaborative album called TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. The project features a full hour of material from the pair but netted underwhelming sales numbers.

But now Rick Ross has already pivoted to teasing his next project. During a recent livestream, he was asked what he’s working on and he had an answer ready. He revealed that he’s working on an album with “African vibes” and revealed that he worked with some of the best African artists around to pull it off. It’s true that Afrobeats have been having a moment in recent years. Ross didn’t confirm how soon fans will get the opportunity to hear the shift in style on his next album. Offset Sends Birthday Shoutout To Quavo, Puts Feud Rumors To Rest

Offset posted a tribute for Quavo on his birthday, earlier this week. In doing so, he shared a photo of the two of them with their late Migos partner, Takeoff, from many years ago. He captioned the post: “Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L [for life].” It comes despite longstanding rumors of anonymity between the two.

The rappers previously linked up to honor Takeoff at the 2023 Grammy Awards, although that didn’t seem to resolve the differences entirely. Rumors later surfaced that they got into a fight backstage. Months later, they reunited again for a performance at the BET Awards.

Flavor Flav Denies Involvement In “Flavor Of Love” Reboot: “That Is A Complete Lie”

Flavor Flav says he isn’t working on the reboot of the reality series, Flavor of Love, despite Julie Pizzi, the President of Bunim/Murray Productions and 51 Minds Entertainment telling Deadline as much. The Public Enemy rapper clarified the situation in a statement on Instagram, on Tuesday.

Pizzi had told the outlet: “We’re in the process of working with Flavor Flav to reimagine what Flavor of Love can feel like in this in this decade, which is very different. The project is really fun, a comedy in the dating space. Flav will not, however, be doing the dating this time around but will be part of the process.”
