Drake Clowns Rick Ross In Leaked DM: “You Not Rozay Anymore”

It keeps getting uglier. Drake and Rick Ross were one of the most reliable duos in hip-hop for a decade, but now they’re sworn enemies. The two men swapped diss tracks in the last week, and Ross has kept the mockery going by posting IG Live videos and DMs between him and the 6 God. Ross sent Drake a message with the caption: “Look how I talk to this turkey. You shoulda just asked for another feature.” The MMG boss was not so quick to share Drake’s response, however.

DJ Akademiks posted a screenshot of the aforementioned Ross message with Drake’s response on his Instagram, and the response was brutal. The Toronto rapper dismantled the notion that Ross is a mogul, and proceeded to call his luxurious lifestyle a front. “Imagine you having 88 million to spend on a crib,” he wrote with laughing emoijis. “Your s**ts be steals like you got em from a police auction.” The rapper also claimed that Ross shares his “private jet” with others. “You put a wrap on your timeshare yet,” he said. “That s**t coming off when it’s the other people turn to fly.”

Drake has a considerably higher net worth than Rick Ross. The former has an estimated worth of $250 million, while Ross is believed to be worth $150 million. This wealth discrepancy is probably why Drake felt confident comparing Ross to Brett Berrish, an entrepreneur and CEO of Sovereign Brands. Drake basically said Ross has to resort to side hustles to generate cash because Ross’ music doesn’t sell as well as his. “You Brett now,” the “God’s Plan” rapper announced. “You not Rozay anymore.”

This is not the first time Drake has dissed Ross on the basis of wealth. During a recent episode of the New Rory And Mal Podcast, Mal shared Drake’s reaction to Ross’ diss, “Champagne Moments.” To no one’s surprise, the rapper was unimpressed with what he heard. “He said he was richer than me and I turned it off,” is what Drake allegedly told the podcast host. It’s safe to assume that whenever Drake throws more shots at Ross on wax, the man’s bank account is going to be the main focus.

Ice Spice, PinkPantheress, And Tyla Link Up And Have Fans Calling For A New Girl Group

Ice Spice has been busy recently. Over the weekend she made her debut at Coachella where she dazzled fans with some of the biggest hits from her breakout 2023. Just a few days later she found herself on the other side of the country making a surprise appearance during a PinkPantheress show in New York. The two collaborated on the song “Boys a liar pt. 2” last year which became a breakthrough hit for both of them. They performed the song together and then posed for a picture with yet another recent breakthrough star backstage.

That star is Tyla, whose song “Water” took hold on the charts late last year and soared to be one of the biggest hits of the last few months of 2023. The song is still holding on currently sitting at number 24. The three recently christened stars found the time to pose for a stunning photo together backstage. The picture made its way to the internet where fans couldn’t resist praising all three of them. Numerous fans left comments about them being the real “big 3” in popular music and some even compared them to TLC. Nicki discussed “users,” also known as people who consistently use others to get what they want. “They don’t stop being users. Because she was unspecific, fans ran to some wild places trying to find out who she may be talking about. Some think she’s talking about artists who collaborate with her and then turn around and take shots at her afterward. For instance, she has been embroiled in a feud with none other than Ice Spice. At this stage, it feels like Latto is ahead, but after Coachella, some pressure has been applied.

Yesterday, Latto didn’t seem to be too pressed about the Ice Spice performance. Instead, she was reflecting on her mom. In fact, she took to social media where she posted a couple of photos of her mom. In one of these photos, her mom was 15, the age at which she gave birth to the star. While these photos were meant to pay homage to her mom and her growth over the years, the internet couldn’t help itself. Numerous male fans started thirsting after Latto’s mom, and the comments wouldn’t stop, whether it be on Twitter or Instagram.

Red also celebrated her birthday in person with a pretty special gift. It’s unclear whether she got the gift for herself or it came from someone else, but she had a brand new Corvette for her big day. During a conversation with E! Young Thug Trial: YSL CO-Founder Confirms What “Thug” Stands For

As Young Thug’s YSL trial carries on, it’s been a turbulent few weeks for everyone in the courtroom. There’s been a myriad of viral moments where witnesses lash out, shut down completely, or straight up confess they aren’t in the right headspace to be testifying. That’s also come amongst questions about the behavior of various members of the district attorney’s office and a motion filed by Thug’s lawyers to have the lead prosecutor removed from the case.

Now the newest witness on the stand is DK, one of the co-founders of YSL. While being questioned by the defense, he was asked if he knew what “Thug” stood for. It’s been a point of contention in the trial as the prosecution tries to cite his rap name as evidence that the label is also a gang. DK gave credit to an argument the defense has been making since early in the trial, that “Thug” stands for “Truly Humble Under God.” He also claimed that it stands for “The Hate U Give” in different circumstances. Last month, Thug’s lawyers filed a motion to have some of the witnesses removed from the witness list. They projected that the trial could last until 2027 if everyone on the witness list was questioned at the same pace they had been so far. He was one of multiple rappers included on the list of potential witnesses but was the only one removed. Rich Homie Quan, YFN Lucci, and Birdman are all still on the list of potential witnesses in the case.

Drake Fans Are Blown Away By One Intricate Future Diss

Over the weekend, a Drake song leaked online that had rap fans buzzing. He was under fire from seemingly all directions after Future and Metro Boomin dropped two collaborative albums. Across the two records Drizzy was hit with multiple disses from a number of former collaborators. So when an alleged response track hit the internet fans broke down every single line. That also included a massive debate online as to whether or not the track was even real. Many pointed out that with the increased proficiency of artificial intelligence it would be easy to fake a song.

But most people now agree that the leak is legitimate and cite some of the specifically impressive bars from the song as evidence. In a recent Instagram post, DJ Akademiks unpacked one particular lyric that may have gone over some fans heads. He explained that the bar “Drizzy Chip n’ Dale, probably got your bitch Chanel” is referencing the fact that Chip & Dale constantly outsmart Pluto on their TV show. In the comments, fans are blown away by Drake’s writing. “this n*gga is incredible” one comment reads. “That’s a fire bar ngl” another agrees. Check out all the fan reactions to the bar below.

50 Cent was loving Kesha’s decision to diss Diddy at Coachella. He shared a clip of her performance on Instagram, Sunday, and joked that Diddy will theorize he told her to do so. While performing her iconic track, “TiK ToK,” with Reneé Rapp, she changed up the lyric: “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P Diddy.” Instead, she replaced the final words with, “f*ck P Diddy.”

“LOL she said [middle finger emoji] Fvck P DIDDY, HAHAAHAHA [eyeball emoji] PUFFY LIKE 50 TOLD HER TO SAY THAT!” 50 wrote on Instagram. Fans shared plenty of laughs in the comments section. “The devil works hard, but 50 works even harder,” one user wrote. Another commented: “Bc nobody wants to wake up in the morning feelin’ like P Diddy right now.”

It wasn’t the first time Kesha had changed the lyrics either. Following Cassie’s lawsuit back in November, which served as the tipping point for countless more suits in the time since, Kesha sang, “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me!” while performing on her Only Love Tour in Oakland. In addition to the lawsuits, Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex trafficking investigation, last month. Diddy has denied all of the claims against him and has yet to face any charges. His lawyer, Aaron Dyers, labeled the raids on his properties a “gross overuse of military-level force” in a statement at the time.

Rick Ross Targets Birdman For Drake Support Amid Viral Feud

Rick Ross switched targets to Birdman on social media, Sunday night, for the Cash Money Records co-founder siding with Drake in their ongoing feud. In doing so, he joked about Birdman living on a smaller island than him. “Aye, that’s where Birdman house was at, right over there,” Ross remarks in a video on social media. “Stunna, that’s where your house was at, right there. The little island over there.”

Birdman had announced his support for his longtime collaborator in a post earlier in the day. Sharing a throwback picture of the two of them, he wrote: “@champangepapai I’m riding with you 4L. I got ur bak surprise party CMRGYMCMGOVO @cashmoneyofficial.”

The beef between Drake and Ross picked up when Drake mentioned him on his diss track, “Push Ups.” While it also targeted Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, and more, Ross was the first to respond. Within hours he dropped a diss track of his own, “Champagne Moments.” On his song, he rapped: “You ain’t never wanna be a n***a anyway, n***a, that’s why you got operation to make ya’ nose smaller than ya’ father nose, n***a. I unfollowed you, n***a, ’cause you sent a motherf*ckin’ cease and desist to French Montana, n***a. You sent the police, n***a, hated on the dog project.” Drake shared a text exchange with his mother in response, accusing Ross of being “angry” and “racist.”
