Desiigner Exposes Himself On Plane, Enters Mental Facility

Desiigner is experiencing some serious mental health issues. This is not the first time that he has detailed struggles with mental health. Last year, the rapper explained why he parted ways with Kanye West’s label. “The reason why I left Ye is ’cause I was going through a little mental thing,” Desiigner said. “I was just coming up out of high school, my pops just went into a coma. While I was on tour, I was having a great time but I just knew something at home was happening with my mom and my pops health and shit.” Not long after that interview, Desiigner was caught up in a face off with the LAPD. When speaking on the incident, the rapper said that the the police were unnecessarily hostile in the situation. At the time he told them he was dealing with PTSD.

Desiigner originally hails from Brooklyn. He gained widespread recognition in 2016 after his debut single “Panda” became a chart-topping hit, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His unique style blends elements of trap music, hip hop, and rap, characterized by his rapid-fire delivery and distinctive ad-libs. Desiigner previously signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music label in 2016. He has since released several projects, including his debut studio album L.O.D. in 2018. Late last year, he released his single “Bigger And Bigger” after previously announcing the he was retiring. In an interview about the single, he said, “Music is my therapy. I lost a lot of bros this year. We all say things out of emotions but the truth is in me.”

Now, Desiigner has had another run in with police for a very different reason. On his international flight back from Asia, he apparently exposed himself. When he landed, the rapper was met by police. Apparently the rapper has not been feeling like himself for quite some time, and even had to be admitted to a hospital while he was out of the country. The specifics were not provided. However, Desiigner did make a statement to TMZ about the situation.

“For the past few months i have not been ok, and i have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on. While overseas for a concert i performed at, i had to be admitted in to a hospital, i was not thinking clearly,” said the rapper. “They gave me meds, and i had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the states, and am admitting my self in a facility to help me. I will be cancelling all shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If you’re not feeling like yourself please get help.” What do you think of Desiigner’s behavior? Is it good that he’s speaking out on mental health? Sound off in the comments!

Drake Bell’s Wife Files For Divorce

Drake Bell has had quite the week. A few days ago, he was reported missing. His brother said he could be suicidal over custody issues. In a statement, police described the car he may be driving. “He should be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9 PM,” they said. “He is considered missing and endangered.” Luckily, he was found completely fine, but that was not the end of his bad week.

Throughout the years, Bell has faced several legal troubles. In 2021, he was sentenced to a two-year probation period for endangering a minor due to his relationship with a 15-year-old girl whom he met during a concert in 2017. He later confessed to attempting to endanger a minor and distributing harmful content to juveniles. In addition, he was mandated to complete 200 hours of community service in California. During his 2021 sentencing, Bell admitted to his wrongdoing, expressed regret, and apologized to the victim and anyone else who may have been affected by his actions.

Bell’s Messy Relationship History

Today, Drake’s wife of four years filed for divorce. For those paying attention, this likely comes as no surprise. In 2020, Drake’s former fling accused him of abuse. She originally accused him in a number of TikTok videos. Then, she took to Instagram to explain further. “Everyone that really knows me and has been a friend of mine for the past 15 years, knows all too well of the abuse that Drake Bell put me through,” she wrote. “I have so many witnesses, I have photos, it was my life. If you don’t believe me, it is clear to me what kind of person you are, and I don’t need that on my side.”

Drake, of course, denied the accusations of abuse. He made a statement on the situation, as well. “As our relationship ended — more than a decade ago — we, unfortunately, both called each other terrible names, as often happens when couples are breaking up,” Bell says. “But that is it. Clearly, Melissa still felt close enough to me just last year that she was comfortable reaching out to ask me to provide her with financial support during a tough time (which I did).” What do you think of the latest drama in the Drake Bell situation?
