Drake Shares A Supposed DM Exchange In Which He Accuses Rick Ross Of Being A ‘Worker’ And Exaggerating His Wealth

It seems like Drake and Rick Ross aren’t burying the hatchet anytime soon. Yesterday (April 16), Drake shared a few Instagram Stories featuring supposed exchanges between him and Ross.

He captioned one of the Stories, saying, “Look how I talk to this turkey. You shoulda just asked for another feature.”

In a DM to Ross featured in the Story, Drake accuses Ross of exaggerating his luxurious lifestyle.

“Your star island house on a sliver of cheesecake,” Drake said to Ross. “your lot 40000 square feet my crib 40000 square feet Leonard.”

“And you put a wrap on your timeshare jet. That sh*t coming off when it’s the other people turn to fly,” Drake said, alluding to Ross’ customized Gulfstream G550.

One of Ross’ earliest hits was 2006’s “Hustlin’,” which introduced his entrepreneurial spirit with the catchy “everyday I’m hustlin’” chorus. However, Drake suggested that Ross is no longer a self-starter, claiming he’s a “worker” for Brett Berrish, founder of Luc Belaire champagne, which Ross is often seen drinking.

“You Brett Berrish [sic] worker. How many cases you gotta move before you got a cheque finally,” Drake said. “You’re Brett son now you not Rozay anymore.”

The exchange comes after back-and-forth disses, including Drake’s “Push Ups” and Ross’ response, “Champagne Moments.”

Rick Ross recently added to the Drake drama after he claimed the Toronto rapper had a nose job on his Instagram story. Ross posted a side-by-side photo of Drake, complete with the caption: “The bridge of your nose somehow got smaller BBL Drizzy @champagnepapi.” He would also go on to include it as a diss on his “Champagne Moments” song.

Drake then responded by sharing a text conversation he had with his mom about the rumors. “I would have got us a 2-for-1 deal if I went ma,” he answered her when she asked if he actually had one done.

Since then, the two keep going back and forth about whether Drake had the procedure. Most recently, the Daily Mail featured some real-life plastic surgeons to get their outside opinions on whether they thought Drake had work done.

Dr. Elie Levine, a surgeon from NYC, shared, “It’s not like he has gone from looking like one person to a totally different person, but there is definitely more definition in the later photos. Light can always affect these things and can make a difference. But, if you really scrutinize it — there is a high likelihood that he did some nasal contouring.”

“There is a high likelihood he had a rhinoplasty because his tip looks smaller and his nasal bridge is narrower,” another surgeon, Dr. Raja Mohan from Texas, told the outlet.

However, this isn’t fully concrete evidence — and the debate about Drake’s nose job will likely continue for a while.

Rod Wave Updates An Older Track With “Numb”

Rod Wave has gone through a little bit of a rough patch in his life. Earlier this month, the Florida rapper and singer was arrested after weapons and/or ammo were found on his person. This arrest was escalated based on the fact that the multi-hyphenate was previously charged with felony battery charges, even though they were dropped. As a felon, you are not allowed to carry weapons. However, Rod was back in the clear after police did some extra digging. It turned out that it was “not accurate,” so he was released from his jail cell shortly after being put in handcuffs.

With that messy situation behind him, Rod Wave has been comfortable enough to get back into the recording booth. Case and point, this new single from him called “Numb.” This is Rod’s first piece of music since his acclaimed 2023 record Nostalgia. However, you are not going to find the song on streaming, as it is only on YouTube as of now.

Rick Ross Takes Aim At 1090 Jake Following Recent Threats Amid Drake Feud

Rick Ross is someone who is currently in the midst of various feuds. Of course, he is currently in a beef with the likes of Drake. This has led to some back-and-forth shots, particularly on social media. However, in songs, Drake dissed Ross on “Push Ups,” while Ross delivered a quick response with “Champagne Moments.” Needless to say, there is something in the air right now as it pertains to the rap world. This is especially true as fans await an official response from Kendrick Lamar, who threw the first shot on “Like That.”

Now, 1090 Jake is getting involved. The online media personality has been known to leak paperwork that showcases when an artist is snitching. Overall, this always leads to some sort of tit-for-tat or prolonged drama on Instagram. This time around, Jake decided to go after Ross for his time as a Correctional Officer. Ross stated that he was in training for four months and eventually quit. However, 1090 Jake claims he was a C.O. for much longer. He even threatened to leak footage of Ross as a C.O. Some footage has even leaked online, although its veracity is suspect, to say the least.

In the tweets above, you can see that Ross fired back at 1090 Jake numerous times. In these instances, he claimed that 1090 Jake was a rat. Furthermore, he kept calling him a white boy, much like he was doing to Drake. It was all in line with what Ross has been doing lately. He is in peak trolling mode right now, and he is showing no signs of actually slowing down. Only time will tell whether or not he makes nice with any of his new enemies.

For his part, West donned an all-white ensemble, and while he kept his feet warm, clean, and comfortable in a pair of shoes, all that his other half wore from beneath her thighs was bandages wrapped around her ankles and soles. The Kings ran away with the game, which was close throughout the first half despite struggles from Curry and teammate Klay Thompson. The Warriors will miss the playoffs after a tumultuous season full of injuries and suspensions for the likes of Draymond Green. Curry has carried Golden State all year, but the team overall wasn’t good enough to make the playoffs.

Steph Curry finished the game with 22 points and two assists, a poor showing considering his standard. The story of the night was misses from both Curry and Klay Thompson, who did not hit a shot all night. As the first half was winding down, Curry, known for hitting long-range buzzer beaters, heaved a shot from half-court. The shot was almost perfectly banked at the buzzer, causing an uproar on social media. Even Steph Curry’s misses are incredible, and this shot is proof of that.

Steph Curry’s miss is another reminder of how he is just built differently. You can’t really blame him for the loss either, as his teammate Klay Thompson went 0-10 from the field and 0-6 from three. The Warriors are the Steph Show now more than ever, as his teammates have declined. It is more than possible Steph, Draymond, and Klay shared the floor for the last time last night. Whatever the next iteration of the Warriors looks like, Steph is the only sure thing left of their dynasty.
