Fat Joe Praises Diddy, Doesn’t Think He Can “Recreate” His 1990s Energy

His sitdown with Drink Champs has been much talked about, especially after he called DJ Khaled the “Quincy Jones of Hip Hop.” Fat Joe is not only an applauded artist but his commentary on Rap and Hip Hop culture has been known to spark a discussion or two. Another takeaway moment from his Drink Champs appearance had to do with Diddy and whether or not the Bad Boy mogul has the chops to take over the scene in the same way that he and his artists did back in the 1990s.

“He could never recreate that same energy,” said Fat Joe.

“He can make…will Puff Daddy make a masterpiece? It’s all R&B, he is. Is it gonna be incredible, is it gonna be fly and all that? Yes. But you can never recreate, you know…” Joe said before he rapped the late Craig Mack‘s classic 1994 single “Flava in Ya Ear.” Fans are expecting Diddy to tap into Puff Daddy bag again one day, but it seems that Sean Love Combs is all about a different route.

Still, Diddy remains one of the most celebrated producers, label heads, and A&Rs in Hip Hop history, regardless of the controversies about contracts and business dealings stemming from complaints by former artists. Do you think Diddy can dominate once again or do you agree with Fat Joe?

City Girls & Clermont Twins Beef Over Photoshoot Pose: “Fake Fashion B*tches”

In the entertainment industry, it’s easy to find a style copied or repeated. However, not all those moments turn into social media arguments like that between the City Girls and the Clermont twins. City Girls recently announced that they have a special surprise coming and with the revelation, the ladies shared a behind-the-scenes look at their photoshoot.

In the clip, there was a moment when the rappers posed together with Yung Miami on all fours and JT on her back in a similar position, just in the opposite direction. It’s a pose that the Clermont Twins have previously done in a photoshoot, so the sisters took to social media to call out City Girls for copying their move without giving them credit.

Shannon Clermont stated that she and her sister must have been the “moodboard” for the rappers, and after fans told her she was being shady, she tweeted, “I love Caresha.” However, she also wrote in separate tweets, “They hate…then they copy” and “It’s the moodboard for meeee.” Yung Miami responded, “It wasn’t on our mood board but I DID tell JT let’s try the post I thought it was cute! What’s the problem?”

The rapper added that she loves the Clermont twins and supports them. “Nobody discrediting y’all I’m not with the shady sh*t let’s not go there!” Shannon was about that life and replied, “Its love over here too but Lol let’s not go there? Cause what?” Yung Maimi said, “You let me know I addressed the room it’s whatever. I’m Mad cause I like them fr!”

Meanwhile, JT added her two cents after Shannon tweeted that she’s “tired of these fake fashion b*tches.” JT stated, “These magazines & brands not! Y’all be scared to see other women grow & learn. It’s enough clothes for everybody! Talking about fake fashion b*tch you no Naomi [Campbell] I see your ass on holiday flyers like everybody else! So lazy of you to be tired about a POSE!!!!”

50 Cent Files Docs To Seize Teairra Mari’s Assests: Report

The trolling between 50 Cent and Teairra Mari has dissipated since the last time they were at war on social media, but that doesn’t mean the Power mogul is finished with their legal battle. Years ago, Teairra took Fif to court over revenge porn allegations involving her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad, and instead, she found herself hit with a judgment. A judge decided in 2019 that the singer should be held responsible for 50 Cent’s legal fees to the tune of $30K, but she took to the internet to jokingly share that she didn’t have the money.

50 Cent has previously threatened to go after any and every check that Teairra Mari would receive, and Radar Online reports that court documents show the singer still hasn’t made good on her debt. So, Fif has reignited their court feud.

According to reported court documents, Teairra owes the Rap mogul $37,733, a total that includes an additional $4,492 because Teairra was “sanctioned in the case” as well as $2,597.80 in interest. Radar Online stated that Fif filed new documents about the debt including a writ of execution. It seems that 50 Cent is hoping that soon, Teairra’s assets can be seized in order to pay off the debt. He has continuously petitioned to gain access to Teairra Mari’s financial records.

Meanwhile, the singer has been making appearances on social media and it looks as if she’s enjoying her new romance. She’s been subtly posting about her good life and 50 Cent wants his cash. Check out Teairra boasting about her new man below.

YFN Lucci Surrenders To Authorities In Connection To Racketeering Case: Report

YFN Lucci has been dealing with a heavy amount of legal trouble since the beginning of the year. A warrant was issued for the rapper’s arrest earlier this year after he was charged in connection to a murder in Atlanta. The rapper later turned himself in to authorities before posting bond. He’s remained out of the public eye since as there were strict conditions with his release. Unfortunately, further legal issues came down on him which has now resulted in the rapper returning to jail.

Earlier this month, it was reported that YFN Lucci was named alongside 12 others in a 105-count gang and racketeering indictment connected to the Bloods gang in Georgia. The rapper has since surrendered himself to police and is currently behind bars at Fulton County Jail in Georgia where he’s reportedly being held in the maximum-security area, per WSB TV.

Following news of the indictment, Lucci’s attorney Drew Findling declared his client’s innocence. “He’s not a gang member. What he is is an internationally recognized musical artist that is a triple platinum winner, that has performed all over the United States and all over the world,” said Findling in a statement at the time.

No public statement has been issued on YFN Lucci’s behalf since the news broke. We will keep you posted on any more available updates on the case.
