Nicki Minaj Says She Didn’t Mean To Embarrass Cuban Doll

You really never know when Nicki Minaj will pop out but when she does, there’s a statement to be made. For example, she pulled out the pink Crocs and matching iced out Richard Mille watch just to let fans know that she has new music on the way. It turned the Internet upside down and apparently, crashing the Crocs site from an influx of demand.

Unfortunately for Cuban Doll, she received a message from Nicki Minaj herself in the comment section of her photo which led to the utmost embarrassment. Cuban shared a thirst trap where she misquoted Nicki Minaj’s lyrics from “Crocodile Teeth (Remix).” Nicki slid in the comments and simply typed out the actual lyrics to the song, humiliating Cuban Doll in the process.

“I’m so embarrassed,” admitted Cuban Doll in her IG Story after the exchange.

While everyone had their laughs, Nicki clarified that she has a lot of love for Cuban Doll and that she had no intention to embarrass her.

“I hope y’all know I love Cuban. I was havin fun w her. I don’t try 2 embarrass ppl I fuk wit. That’s corny,” Nicki wrote on her IG Story. “I’ll never correct a lyric ever again chile. Boom.”

Clearly, it’s all love but does this mean Cuban Doll will be securing a verse from Nicki down the line? Peep Nicki’s comments below.

Killer Mike Rips Atlanta Restaurant For Mistreating Dominique Wilkins

Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins accused an Atlanta restaurant called Le Bilboquet of racism recently after they apparently wouldn’t let him dine due to what he was wearing. The restaurant claims they have a strict dress code and that Wilkins didn’t fit their standard. As Wilkins made abundantly clear, he was wearing designer pants and a shirt, which should have been more than enough to get into the establishment.

In my many years in the world, I’ve eaten at some of the greatest restaurants in the world, but never have I felt prejudice or been turned away because of the color of my skin, until today in #atlanta,” Wilkins wrote on Twitter.

Now, Wilkins is getting some back up from the likes of Killer Mike, who took to Instagram with a message for Le Bilboquet.

@lebilboquetatlanta ya’ll better make this lame shit right. How ya’ll mistreat “NIQUE” @dominiquewilkins21! Ya’ll lame AF for that shawty!” he wrote.

The restaurant has come out and apologized for the confusion although they did reiterate that they were operating based on their longstanding policy. In their response, they also said that they would consider revising the dress code to fit more contemporary standards of “business casual.”

Regardless, public opinion is not on their side, and rightfully so when you consider how an Atlanta legend is at the center of it all.

Rick Santorum Let Go By CNN After Native American Culture Comments

Former Republican politician Rick Santorum has been working for CNN over the last few years where he has brought a conservative point of view to the network. During the election, Santorum was a huge part of the network’s coverage, especially when it came to former President Donald Trump and some of the criticisms conservatives had for the President.

Santorum was a controversial member of the CNN staff and recently, he was officially let go. According to Reuters, Santorum was dropped from the network following his controversial comments regarding Native American culture. Santorum claimed that the United States was built from nothing and that the Native Americans did not contribute to American culture. Following the news of his departure, Santorum took to Twitter where he thanked the network for giving him a platform.

“We birthed a nation from nothing. I mean, there was nothing here. I mean, yes, we have Native Americans, but candidly there isn’t much Native American culture in American culture,” Santorum said originally. He eventually went on CNN the following month and clarified his statements, noting that America’s treatment of indigenous people has been abhorrent and that it goes against his values.

It remains to be seen what Santorum’s next move will be, however, there are plenty of conservative outlets out there, so we’re sure it won’t take him long to find a new home.

Sinead Harnett & Lucky Daye Deal With Fading Love On “Anymore”

Sinead Harnett blessed the world with her latest album Ready Is Always Too Latewhich features a handful of dope features. One of such is “Anymore” alongside the talented crooner Lucky Date. The single is somber and emotional, but touches on an aspect of love we don’t hear about too often.

Many songs touch on being in love, falling in love, and staying in love. However, “Anymore” focuses on what happens when the love is lost. Two lovers admit to missing the feelings of deep connection, and opining about the future of their relationship. If you’re in that place, this is a good song to recoil into. Check out “Anymore,” and the rest of Harnett’s latest album, and let us know what you think below.

Quotable Lyrics
‘Cause we don’t love like that
It never gets old when we’re out on the road
Somehow we fell off track
We can go over mountains, under valleys
But we can’t get back
‘Cause we don’t love like that anymore

Mach-Hommy & Westside Gunn Team Up On “Murder Czn”

It seemed like it wouldn’t have happened but Mach-Hommy and Westside Gunn finally squashed their feud last year. Over the past several years, the relationship between the two rappers suffered a rift but they’ve resolved their interests and proceeded with the release of Pray For Haiti. The latest album from Mach Hommy arrived under the Griselda imprint with features from Keisha Plum, Tha God Fahim, and of course, FlyGod, himself.

The two connect over Camouflage Monk’s jazzy production on “Murder Czn” which opens up with Mach Hommy debating whether he’d reveal Hov’s words of wisdom that he shared with him. Westside Gunn’s pronounce, more direct flow is complemented by Mach-Hommy’s soulful melodies that he sprinkles on the hook.

Along with their congratulations, each one of them shared some fond memories of Drake’s rise in the industry. “Seems like just yesterday that you would come back to set after a weekend or the off season and tell us about all of these incredible stories of the artists who you worked with, like Pharrell and Dr. Dre and Beyonce and Lil Wayne,” Kippel recalled. “And we would all say, ‘Amazing.’ But no one believed you, because it seemed too good to be true. Well, you have laughed last, my friend.”

Kippel also recounted a moment when Drake was in a bathroom writing, ‘Buy Drake’s CDs’ on a chalkboard while next to Travis Barker. “Travis Barker, who happened to be urinating next to you, said, ‘Who’s Drake?’ And you turned to him and you said, ‘I’m Drake,'” Kippel added.
