Rappers love getting their bling on, especially when it comes in the form of diamonds. Unfortunately, Rich The Kid found out the hard way that not everything that glitters will get you praise from the ones that should be supporting your music. Or something like that.

Stunting for the ‘Gram as many rappers do time and time again, Rich thought he was doing something by dropping $90,000 per earring on a pair of very modest diamond stones. Once Akademiks re-posted the video on his IG, people had a field day based off the size and overall simplicity of the purchase. “Just brought the same pair from the hair store,” wrote one user that received over 1,600 likes on his comment. The roast session only started from there, with messages like “RENT THE KID” from one jokester and “Claire’s got the same ones for 10.99” from another in reference to the mall jewelry shop for teens and tweens.

Somehow even his rap peers got thrown into the mix, including Jay Critch (“Jay Critch ain’t never gettin out that deal”) and more frequently NBA YoungBoy (“youngboy would drop 2 mil on his ears”). Actually, the latter emcee got brought up more than once, although majority if not all of the comments definitely felt like they were all in good fun.

The funny thing about all this is, at the end of the day, Rich The Kid is getting roasted for dropping almost $200,000 on diamonds by people who wouldn’t even drop a c-note on the same thing. In short, live by your name and keep shining, Rich!

He shared his thoughts regarding the sexual assault allegations that currently plague him and his wife on his track “What It’s Come To,” and now T.I. seems to address his legal woes from the pulpit. A global audience has witnessed as the increasing allegations against T.I. and Tiny has given the music world pause. T.I. and Tiny are known as Atlanta royalty and social justice advocates, but it’s been reported that two dozen women have accused them of drugging, rape, sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct. The pair of artists have continued to deny the accusations and on “What It’s Come To,” T.I. rapped that he would exhaust all legal avenues to avenge his name.

A clip of the couple at a church has surfaced and it seems that Tiny was being honored by her congregation. As she addressed the crowd, Tiny noted that she’s not the best public speaker so her husband took over.

“More than knowing us as human beings, they know our hearts,” said T.I. while holding young Heiress. “And they know how much we are first on the frontlines to do for whoever needs to be done for and to sacrifice a part of ourselves to give to others. Because that’s how we were raised. We come from good stock, ya dig what I’m saying?”

“This started—it was seeds planted,” he continued. T.I. added that they “didn’t just roll out of bed” and become who they are. The congregation gave them applause and agreeance, letting the couple know that they’re supported. Meanwhile, an investigation into T.I. and Tiny in Las Vegas has been closed while another in Los Angeles has reportedly recently launched.

As multiple music festivals continue to make a return in 2021 — hello, Summer Smash Fest in Chicago! — one that many are quite excited to see come back is the Austin City Limits Fest. After taking last year off as a result of the global pandemic, the Texas-based music festival is back with an insane lineup of all-stars from past and present.

The headliners for ACL Festival this year make up a mashup of new faves, like Billie Eilish, DaBaby, Jack Harlow and Doja Cat amongst others, to legends in their own right like the incomparable Stevie Nicks, the alt-rocking Modest Mouse and goddess of Neo Soul herself Erykah Badu. Other notable acts hitting the stage include Miley Cyrus, Rufus Du Sol, Freddie Gibbs, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, Tierra Whack, Omar Apollo, Phoebe Bridgers, 070 Shake, St. Vincent, Toosii, Hinds, Polo G, Bleachers, Bia, Greta Van Fleet and a laundry list of others.

Much like Coachella, ACL 2021 goes down over the span of two weekends. The first is set for Oct. 1-3, followed by Weekend 2 going down between Oct. 8-10. True Texans know how much the city loves Zilker Metropolitan Park, making it the perfect location for all the festivities to go down. 

Tickets are selling out fast, with three-day passes starting at $275 for general access if you can still get them and $3,800 for all the big ballers looking to cop the “platinum package.” Some packages also have hotel options, making this one worth the trip if you’re willing to take it with a few homies.

All she wanted to do was find out if her man was sliding into someone else’s DMs, but Amber Rose found that her messages were shared with the world. Amber has been enjoying her family with her longtime beau, Alexander “AE” Edwards. The two expanded on their blended family back in 2019 when Amber gave birth to their son Slash, and there haven’t been any rumors regarding infidelity in their relationship. However, after looking through AE’s phone, Amber sent a message to a woman on Instagram and in turn, the woman shared the screenshots.

The Neighborhood Talk posted the awkward exchange as Amber realized that the woman had once sent her a message but it disappeared, so the model-mom assumed the woman deleted it. The woman wrote back and said she didn’t remember sending any message to Amber. “I know you talked to Alex before,” Amber wrote. “I’m not trippin babe. I didn’t recognize you by your profile picture until you opened up your page.”

“I was being nosy and looked through his blocked list on his phone. You came up,” Amber continued. “Then I found ur page and saw that you sent me a message. Didn’t know if you were trying to tell me something?” She later wrote, “I don’t understand why ur blocked. You can be honest.” The woman seemed a bit peeved at Amber’s inquiries. 

“If I had something to tell you, I would’ve told you before you sent me the 21 messages, followed and unfollowed me,” the woman replied. Amber let her know she only followed because she wasn’t sure if the woman could see or write back and asked why she was mad. The woman responded, “I’m not mad, I just feel like you’re doing the most when he’s irrelevant to me.”

Rose then said she wasn’t trying to be disrespectful, but she just wanted to know if the woman and AE were still in contact. The back and forth continued, a little attitude was thrown, and the woman finally told Amber that she and Edwards haven’t communicated while the couple has been together. Later, it looked as if Amber deleted her messages.

The stunts used to be the most controversial things surrounding the Jackass crew, but now it’s what has been happening behind the scenes. Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera, and their friends have reunited for yet another cringe-worthy film where they inflict harm upon themselves in the name of laughter. As Bam continues to rant about his former co-stars, Steve-O has revealed that he was able to get a certified physician to pull off a strange stunt.

In a video he shared to his YouTube channel, Steve-O claimed that Jackass 4 will hit theaters this October and shared a bit of what fans can expect. Trust and believe, they’re trying to top what they’ve done in the past.

“I might have actually talked a doctor into dressing up as a clown so that he could put a four-inch needle into my spine and inject me with a drug that would paralyze me from the waist down while I was sprinting and before all kinds of terrible sh*t happened to me,” said Steve-O. Just when you think it couldn’t get any more strange, he added, “I’m getting ready to do a world record highest belly flop ever performed into pure piss.”

“That’s why I have 190 gallons of piss in my front yard at home.” Steve-O even showed the large bottles of urine stocked in his yard and said that there were several people who contributed to the collection. By the look of it, a few of his contributors need more water in their diets. A joke on Instagram quickly went left when people didn’t “swipe” on Fabolous’s posts. The New York Rap icon wanted to bring his friends and followers a few chuckles over on the social media app when he made a post suggesting that he had signed up for OnlyFans. It wasn’t something that was *too* farfetched, considering plenty of entertainers from all backgrounds have earned a few coins on the site, but when people saw Fab’s post, they couldn’t believe that the “Can’t Deny It” hitmaker was doing something strange for a piece of change.

“Just started a ONLY FANS [shrug emoji],” Fabolous wrote in an image text upload to Instagram. “SWIPE LEFT to see a teaser of my 1st Post [purple devil emoji].”

For those nosy folks who thought they were about to see something scandalous, the second photo was a disappointment. Fab posted a photo of actual fans and in his comment section, thousands of people got a good laugh out of the joke, including many of his famous friends. However, there were a select few who were convinced that Fabolous was serious with his OnlyFans post, prompting the rapper to wholeheartedly deny that he would launch an account with the site.

“N*ggas really thought I went Only Fans on em’ [eyeballs emoji],” Fabolous wrote on his Instagram Story. “No disrespect to anyone who does have a OnlyFans.. I heard people are getting money wit it.. Just not my vibe.” Check out his posts below.

As his divorce from Kim Kardashian continues to move forward, Kanye West has been unsurprisingly absent from the spotlight. The Hip Hop mogul has been wheeling and dealing behind the scenes as a designer, producer, and artist, but his wife has remained front and center on social media, including sharing photos of their children. As gossip blogs continue to speculate about the end of their marriage, more rumors began to surface regarding Kim’s working relationship with Van Jones. 

Kim and Jones have both been on the frontlines of criminal justice reform efforts and some have theorized that behind the scenes, romance has brewed. Neither has confirmed or denied the reports, but Jones did speak on Kim’s journey to become a lawyer during his recent virtual interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen noted that Kim has been studied as an apprentice with Jone’s organization and wanted to know how the reality star has been doing with her studies. “She’s doing amazing,” he said. “She has used her platform to help people behind bars. Her dad was a lawyer and she always wanted to be a lawyer, and so she decided—once she got a taste of what she could do using her platform, using her brain, she hasn’t let up.”

Ever since they announced their split, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been doing their best at occupying their times. Lopez was immediately spotted with ex-fiancé Ben Affleck as they traveled together while A-Rod has been promoting his latest business venture, a men’s makeup line. It does seem that the romance between Lopez and Rodriguez has come to a final end without the possibility of reconciliation, and some are blaming it all on the recent scandal regarding Rodriguez allegedly sliding into the DMs of a reality star.

Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy allegedly told her Bravo co-stars that Rodriguez was a bit flirty in her direct messages while he was in a relationship with Lopez. The baseball great may have a thing for blonde-haired, blue-eyed women because Belinda Russell, the Australian host of Today Extra, shared that she, too, awoke to a DM from Rodriguez.

Belinda’s co-host brought up the DMs while on-air and they even shared a screenshot that showed Lopez’s ex telling her she has a “great feed!!” The co-host wanted to know if A-Rod was trying to flirt, but Belinda, who is happily married, didn’t think so. Rodriguez has been ridiculed for continuing to hit up those DMs even with a similar scandal on his heels, but many argue that he’s now a single man and can do what he wants.
