Bizzy Banks Drops Off New Single “My Sh*t”

Brooklyn drill has gone viral, as Fivio Foreign would say. The budding sound has undoubtedly had an influence on the sound of music right now. It’s largely due to the commercial success of Pop Smoke but the authenticity and the grittiness remain in the streets of Brooklyn. Bizzy Banks have been red hot this year with each of his releases proving better than the last. He raps with a sense of urgency that emboldens his rawness and aggression.

Fresh off of the Pop Smoke-assisted remix of “30” that landed on Faith, Bizzy Banks continues to make strides ahead of the release of his upcoming project, Same Energy. This week, he shared his new single, “My Sh*t,” a glossy drill banger co-produced by Flossy Draco, Benz Musik, and BS BEATS.

Peep the new single below.

Quotable Lyrics
I tell ’em my pain just to win
Better watch how you flexin’
N***a, this is not a gym

Deion Sanders Walks Out Of Interview After Reporter Continued To Call Him By First Name

When it comes to resect, Deion Sanders is not playing around. The NFL legend boasts several successes throughout his career including multiple awards and honors, as well as Super Bowl and Pro Bowl wins, but Jackson State University‘s head coach is going viral and it isn’t because of his accomplishments. An exchange at the SWAC Media Day in Birmingham was the epicenter of an awkward moment when Sanders checked a reporter for referring to him by his first name only.

A reporter for the Clarion-Ledger named Nick Suss was speaking to Sanders but the football icon didn’t appreciate his first name being used. “You don’t call Nick Saban, ‘Nick,’” Sanders said of the University of Alabama’s coach. “Don’t call me Deion.”

“If you call Nick, ‘Nick,’ you’ll get cussed out on the spot, so don’t do that to me. Treat me like Nick.” Suss ignored Sanders and called him “Deion” once again, and that was when the JSU coach reportedly walked out of the interview. Later, Suss defended his actions and explained why he didn’t heed Sanders’s warning.

“When I interview people, I call them by their first name,” Suss revealed. “Whether it’s someone I’ve been working with for years or someone I’m talking to for the first time. This is true of the coaches and players on the Ole Miss beat, the coaches and players at Mississippi State and Southern Miss when I help out covering their teams and, as recently as January, even Sanders, too.”

Do you think Deion Sanders should have walked out?

Khloé Kardashian Explains Why She Talks To Daughter True About Race

As the parent of a biracial child, Khloé Kardashian believes it is important for her to speak about controversial issues pertaining to race. The reality star mogul and on-again-off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson share three-year-old daughter True, and with all that has been occurring politically in the U.S., Khloé explained why she takes the time to talk with her child about topics pertaining gto race and ethnicity.

The Kardashian sister recently appeared on the Leomie Anderson Role Model podcast where she said, “I know some people get uncomfortable with talking to their kids about race, or they think, ‘Oh, we live in a bubble. We never have to address that my child is Black.'”

“I mean, of course you do!” Khloé continued. “You’re only setting them up, I think, for failure if you don’t talk about race and probably the things that they’re going to endure once they’re in, quote, the ‘real world.’… I don’t want her living in a bubble thinking, you know, because we do have this very privileged life and I want her to know all types of life and all types of living and be very aware of that.”

Khloe’s other sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are also the mothers of biracial children, with Kanye West and Travis Scott respectively, so she is able to speak with them about any challenges or topics to discuss with True.

“The beauty of having some of my sisters in the same situation is we get to have those conversations probably together,” Kardashian stated. “I will be always learning and trying to do the best I can do as being her mom, but I’m obviously not a woman of color.” Listen to the full episode below.

Big30 Addresses Constant Comparisons To Pooh Shiesty

Memphis got it right now. The talent that’s coming out of the city is certainly making noise, not just in the South but across the globe. Yo Gotti deserves tons of credit for putting on for his city, as does Young Dolph, despite their differences. They’ve helped introduce plenty of artists to the fold including Moneybagg Yo who earned his first #1 album of the year with A Gangsta’s Pain.

Of course, you have to mention Pooh Shiesty on this list of young rappers who are representing Memphis to the fullest. Despite his incarceration, he was recently included on the XXL Freshman List. He and Big30 have been making noise alongside each other over the past several months. As with most collaborators, they’ve found themselves getting compared to each other quite frequently.

30 took to Instagram where he firmly stated that the comparisons are getting out of hand. “It got to be spoken on quick. Stop comparin’ me to my n***a. Where they do that at? When that shit start? The goal is not to be better than my n***a. Why y’all in my comments [saying], ‘Told y’all he better than Shiesty’ or ‘He sound like Shiesty,’ ‘Shiesty better than 30, ’30 better than Shiesty.’ That shit weak,” he said.

Ultimately, he explained that he and Shiesty are teammates in it for the long haul. “We ain’t competin’ against each other. We don’t do that on this side,” he continued.

Drakeo The Ruler Says Soulja Boy Is Biting His Flow

Drakeo The Ruler has been poppin’ his shit ever since he came home. The rapper’s prison stint left him with a small but loyal, dedicated following who kept up with his case and championed his name across the board. However, from behind bars, he was able to watch others in the game jack his style and run with it.

Today, he addressed fans who’ve claimed that Soulja Boy has been jacking Drakeo’s style. Now, they’ve had their friction from earlier this year but Drakeo didn’t hold back in claiming that he’s caught Big Draco biting his flow on several occasions. The California rapper hit the ‘Gram where he made the allegations about Soulja Boy, though he seemingly brushed it off as a regular occurrence in the rap game in general. “Ofcourse I see Soulja Boy rapping like me ain’t no different from these other n***as who rap like me,” he wrote on Instagram with the hashtag #ThisMyCity.

It’s unclear what song Drakeo’s referencing where Soulja Boy bites his style but it’s quite possible that it might be “Rick N Morty.” The song has an eerie, West Coast vibe that is similar to Drakeo, along with a flow that’s also comparable to the South Central rapper.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Drakeo and Soulja Boy have found themselves engulfed in tension. Drakeo and Soulja Boy previously had a back and forth over who the real Big Draco is. Clearly, there are still some unresolved matters between the two of them.

Watch Trippie Redd And Lil Uzi Vert Take Over An Arcade In The ‘Holy Smokes’ Video

Trippie Redd is getting back in album gear, and today he’s dropped a video for “Holy Smokes,” the second new song off his forthcoming record, Trip At Knight (get it?). On the track, he’s teaming up with Lil Uzi Vert, who has been in hot water lately due to a violent altercation with his ex-girlfriend, who later accused him of abuse and stalking. The rappers are focused on other issues during this clip, though, namely getting their racks up, though the lyrics admit stacking cash isn’t everything — “but I still can’t buy love,” they croon.

“Holy Smokes” follows up the first Trip At Knight single, “Miss The Rage,” which featured Playboi Carti. With two massive features on his first two singles, looks like Redd will be hitting up plenty of guests to appear on this new project. Redd also recentl guested on Uproxx’s own sessions showcase, performing “V12” off his 2020 Pegasus album. Considering Trippie just released that project a few months ago, it’s impressive and ambitious that he’s already readying another new project. But that’s the cadence that has become the norm for this new generation of hip-hop stars. Check out the “Holy Smokes” video above and look for more info on Trip At Knight coming soon.

Bhad Bhabie told the magazine, “Since I was young, I’ve been called names and told that I’m doing this and that. I thought, ‘You know what, I might as well make money from it.’ I’m not gonna lie, I did definitely expect for it to be the biggest shit ever for the website. I figured I was one of the biggest people to do it and it was going to do amazing. But even after I made one, [the success still] shocked me.”
