Future Previews New Song “In My Truck” Ahead of Album Release

Future is the First Rapper to Have 10 Million Followers on SoundCloud

Since Future announced that he’s dropping a new album, the FBG President has been making headlines. He graced the cover of GQ magazine yesterday, and he previewed a new track via Instagram.

On the track, Future gives us typical turned-up vibes. Over the heavy trap production, GQ’s “best rapper alive” raps about his extravagant lifestyle, which includes money, cars, and clothes.

There isn’t a title for the album that drops on April 29, but he has confirmed a few features. Already he said Kanye West would be on the album, along with Babyface Ray, Drake, and Gunna.

In his interview with GQ, HENDRIX sat with veteran Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson. There, the Atlanta star shared his creative process, inspirations, and plans for the next era of music.

Future says he had to prove repeatedly that he’s a certified star. “I grew in the business and I made adjustments and I continued to build, continued to overcome any doubt,” he says. “If there was doubt, there’s no more doubt. I’m here to stay. I already proved that. Had a hundred hits in one year, they still like, ‘Hey, what are you going to do next?’ I had to prove it again that I can do it again. Came back and dropped one album [2017’s Future] and dropped another album the following week [Hndrxx]. I proved that I can have two number one albums in two weeks. I had to prove so many times throughout my career that I was here to stay.”

Elliott Wilson Dons Future the “Best Rapper Alive” in New Cover Story

FQt wJlVsAICXny

As Future gears up to drop his forthcoming album on April 29, the Atlanta rap superstar did an interview and cover shoot with GQ magazine. In the piece for GQ, legendary Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson said Pluto is currently the No.1 rapper in the game.

“When you survey the hip-hop landscape, no other artist has been as consistently excellent, or as influential, for as long as he has. He invented his own sound, which has since become the dominant style in rap. He has delivered hit after hit after hit. And he’s done it all on his own terms.I’ll say it again: Future is the best rapper alive,” said Wilson

Now while this may be a controversial statement? Are there any truths to this? You be the judge.

[WATCH] DJ Envy’s Wife Admits to Faking Orgasms During Shade Room Interview

Screen Shot 2022 04 20 at 5.59.04 AM

During an interview with The Shade Room, Power 105’s DJ Envy and his wife Gia Casey sat down to candidly discuss their “toxic” relationship, including Casey admitting that she’s faked orgasms for a decade during their intimacy.

Casey said, “We would be intimate and he would be putting his best foot forward like, he is in the business of satisfying just all around. He lives to make me happy, and he puts his best foot forward in that role.”  She then added, “So I would see him trying and really going to work, and I’m sure many women can relate, you want to reward that man for that work and the only reward that you have to offer is an orgasm. And even if I didn’t feel it, I would still be performative.”

The Breakfast Club host responded to Casey’s claims, saying,  “It hurt me because I thought I was pleasing my wife. You hear all these stories about women talking about their girlfriend ‘Oh girl he was so short, oh girl he ain’t doin’ nothin’, and I feel like they laughing, and now I feel like that’s what my wife is doing.”

The Museum Of Graffiti To Exhibit ‘GHOST: Bits and Pieces’

Screen Shot 2022 04 20 at 5.35.50 AM

The Museum of Graffiti is pleased to announce Bits and Pieces, a solo exhibition of new works by GHOST, the New York graffiti artist. The exhibition opens on May 19, 2022 and will be on view through mid-July 2022.

Bits and Pieces is Ghost’s first solo show at the Museum of Graffiti. The new works are an explosion of colors and imagery that melt into his rounded his unique graffiti letterforms. Ghost’s work contains hundreds of elements from his fantastic imagination where viewers are transported into a psychedelic world where letters come to life. “One of the highest compliments I get is that people say they feel like they took acid without taking acid. I like to take people on a trip. The more they look into the art, the more they discover my world,” states Ghost. His paintings are like eye candy to the artist who unlike many of the graffiti artists working in the streets wants his work to be accessible to the public. He adds, “I want people to get drawn in. Layers and depth are important for me to create a situation where people can spend time with my pieces. People want to walk into them and get into the art. To me that’s what makes my painting successful – when people want to walk into it. I don’t intend to do this but it just happens that way. For the most part it has been accidental discoveries during the process of painting and challenging myself.”

Screen Shot 2022 04 20 at 5.34.53 AM

The new paintings include works that are reminiscent of the 1980s when he was adorning New York City’s subway trains with his original and improvised style of graffiti lettering and characters. Ghost was one of the last kings of the New York City train graffiti era. Today, he approaches his paintings with the same zest and casual grace as he does his train work, with bold explosions of colors and wild cartoons.

Asian Doll Weighs in on Erica Banks’ Comments About Collaborations That Nicki Minaj Selects

Asian Doll

As a female emcee, there’s no doubt about a sense of happiness felt in getting the opportunity to collaborate with THEE Nicki Minaj. While almost all upcoming female rappers have shown love to the Queen’s native at some point, some female emcees have taken it a step further by shooting their shot for a feature at the Young Money lyricist.

Nicki Minaj has been very selective in who she jumps on a track with. The 39-year-old is no stranger to woman empowerment as she has hopped on tracks with female emcees, including Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, BIA, and Coi Leray.

While other rap gworls are in line, Erica Banks believes that Nicki Minaj collabs with female rappers who “can’t rap” in the game.  “I love Nicki, but I just felt like I been trying to reach out to her for a long time, but I felt like she kinda ignores me and she entertains girls who really can’t rap,” Banks stated.

She added, “I said I agree that Nicki kinda f*ck with the girls who can’t really rap when you got the girls over here who really do. Now some people might get mad at me for saying that, but it’s the truth. Everybody can’t rap. … I’m saying it because not everybody’s going to say it.”

Many begin to speculate that Asian Doll felt the same way as Erica Banks after a blog would post the two side by side with the caption, “These two girls couldn’t keep faking the love for Nicki Minaj because she didn’t give them the feature,” the post read. “According to them Nicki Minaj is obligated to give every fan who loves her a feature,” the post continued.

Asian Doll would step into the conversation to clear her name in the drama, stating that Erica is on her own on this one. “Ayo don’t speak on me including me & my name & everything I’ve built randomly involving me in the next b***h situation tf,” Asian said. “She sounded dumb asf**k we nun alike keep that s**t over there fr I don’t agree or respect s**t she said so the side by side pics ain’t giving at all bye.”

“Erica played HERSELF nun of the rap girls think like this except the person that sat her a** in that seat on that stage & said what she said so therefore she standing on that ALONE don’t drag us with this women with all RESPECT,” penned Asian Doll in response to a fan.

6IX9INE GINE Official Music Video 1 3 screenshot

Tekashi 6ix9ine could just be putting a face to the term “Flexing and Finessing,” as the rapper has admitted to posing with some fake cash in a video he posted on Instagram. Before the rainbow-haired rapper would release the music visual to his single, “Gine,” Tekashi would post a message on Instagram to his fellow rap counterparts.

“THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK IM BACK ASK THEM POST THERE HOUSE THEY CARS THEY BANK ACCOUNT. YOU DONT LIVE LIKE THIS I OWN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS LEASE I TOOK OFF RAP 2 YEARS I COULD DO THAT YALL CANT THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK,” he penned.

While the rapper did show off loads of his dough and multiple materialistic items, amen questioned how Tekashi could have such a bag following reports that stated Wack100 broke the rapper. Currently, Tekashi also owes $1 million in restitution fees to robbery victims in his federal court case.

In an interview with TMZ’s Harvey Levin on TMZ Live, the rapper was asked if he is worried that his money from the popular video could be seized. “I ain’t got it right now. I ain’t got it,” he responded. “That was prop money. I ain’t got it… Like I said, I’ma entertainer and obviously, we talkin’ about it so I did a pretty good job at entertaining people.”

“You know how you have a degree in law? I have a degree in entertainment. You know?” he added.

The 25-year-old rapper was then asked if rappers in the industry knew that his antics were all for entertainment.

“My plan was never to come at nobody, it was just to drop music, get back into the realm of my art and come out with positivity,” he stated. “I said the King of New York is back. I want to be very clear: I came out—I didn’t mention anybody. Fivio jumped out the window first. He coulda just stood quiet. I know a lot of people don’t want to hear it, but the moment 6ix9ine, the moment Tekashi responds, ‘Oh my God, he chasing clout!’”
