Introducing ONYX ICE COLE CANNON… Once again Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine! God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth. I vow to protect, provide, guide and love this child to the best of my abilities. In this moment of celebration and jubilee, I wish to mute any low vibrational frequencies and only rejoice with the Highest Class of Civilization who are truly aligned with our purpose here in this dimension. We all learn so much from these Angels we call children. I am learning that it is not the limited amount of time we have on this planet but it’s the limited amount of love that is the issue. And I promise to love this little girl with all my heart, regardless what anyone says…I’ve given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I’m doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite Being God ordained me to be. Hopefully I can teach Onyx the same, to not let others shame or ridicule her with their outside opinions, because when they do they are only projecting their own harsh experiences, pain and social programming onto her unblemished beauty. As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength. So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children. @MissLanishaCole is one of the most guileless, peaceful and nonconfrontational kind souls I’ve ever witnessed, and only deserves to revel in this moment of blissful joy of motherhood. Please give her that. She is so loving and pure hearted. As for me, if you are truly concerned during this time of Spiritual Warfare, my inner struggles with self, mental wellness and physical health concerns… Just continue to pray for me and my entire family that God will grant us Peace that surpasses all Understanding. 🙏🏾❤

Cardi B Returns To Bronx Middle School Donates $100K for Arts Program

Cardi B returned to her old middle school in the Bronx on Tuesday to cheers from students. The Grammy award-winning raptress talked to her alma mater about her experience in the public school system and the importance of an education. 

While visiting I.S. 232 in the Bronx the “Up” creator also announced a donation of $100,000. 

The money will go towards implementing activities like dance programs, tutoring, music and more. 

After surprising the students and faculty, Cardi B answered questions and took photos with the excited middle schoolers.

The school, which has more than 300 students, said “We are thrilled to welcome Cardi B back home to I.S. 232 in the Bronx, and we are so grateful for her generous contribution to her alma mater.” 

“Cardi B’s commitment of $100,000 for the arts will help the school’s kids soar to their highest heights. Thank you, Cardi,” continued, New York City Schools Chancellor David Banks.

R. Kelly Trial Closing Arguments Set for Today

Closing arguments are scheduled Monday for R. Kelly and two co-defendants in the R&B singer’s trial on federal charges of trial-fixing, child pornography and enticing minors for sex, with jury deliberations to follow.

This trial has showcased heart wrenching testimonies, revealing payoffs and unthinkable decisions from all parties involved.

Minutes before the defense rested late Friday, Kelly co-defendant and ex-business manager Derrell McDavid ended three days on the stand. He testified for nearly two days that he had believed Kelly when he denied abusing minors — then said he started having doubts about Kelly’s believability during the trial that started last month.

Kelly and McDavid are charged with fixing Kelly’s 2008 state child pornography trial, which Kelly was acquitted, by threatening witnesses and concealing video evidence. Both also face child pornography charges. A third co-defendant, Kelly associate Milton Brown, is accused of receiving child pornography.

Prosecutors normally get a chance to call witnesses in a rebuttal of the defense case. But when they told Judge Harry Leinenweber that they needed time to prepare, he said there would be no rebuttal and the case would go straight to closing arguments Monday morning.

McDavid was the only one of the three defendants to testify on his own behalf.

Disney Releases First Look Teaser of Live-Action ‘The Little Mermaid’ Starring Halle Bailey

Disney Pictures has released its first look at the live-action The Little Mermaid.  A teaser trailer for the remake was unveiled at Disney’s D23 Expo on Friday. 

It featured beautiful underwater shots of Halle Bailey starring as Ariel, singing some of the iconic song, ”Part of Your World.”  

Bailey said Friday was the first time she had seen footage of the film.

“Being a little girl swimming in the pool, imagining I was a mermaid, I never imagined that would come to life, she gushed on stage. “The three days filming “Part of Your World” was the most beautiful experience of my life.” Bailey continued, “..Feeling all the feelings she feels, her passion, discomfort, and everything she’s experiencing. It was so exciting for me to play those emotions and to have Rob directing me and being such a moving force on this film was really an honor.”

Director Rob Marshall said it was important they honored the original film while still reimagining other parts to bring more depth to the story, which includes the musical numbers.  

Alan Menken, who worked on the original Little Mermaid soundtrack, is teaming up with Lin-Manuel Miranda to create four new songs for the movie as well.

Coi Leray & Saucy Santana To Perform At NYFW 2022

Billboard-charting raptress Coi Leray as well as Saucy Santana are set to perform during this year’s New York Fashion Week (NYFW). The Model Experience (TME) announced in a statement on Tuesday, the fashion-forward event curated by Shaun Ross is set to take place  on Sunday, September 11.

“New York is the Mecca when it comes to Fashion in the US. We’ll be featuring everything from streetwear, to gowns, and custom corsets, with over 800 models taking the stage. Most of them are unsigned, and this is a big break moment for a lot of them,” shared TME founder Ashley Covarrubias.

No one alive will ever forget where they were when one of the deadliest attacks on America took place.
On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defined the presidency of George W. Bush.
Judy Castro was an NYPD officer, Nina Pineda was a local reporter and Regina Wilson was one of the few women firefighters in New York City. Marilyn Wills was working at the Pentagon.

Tiffany Haddish Breaks Silence Surrounding ‘Explicit’ Sketch Amid Molestation Allegations

Tiffany Haddish Weighs In On Wearing Bonnets In Public Controversy

Tiffany Haddish is speaking out about an explicit sketch she was featured in that is now at the center of a sexual misconduct lawsuit. 

In an Instagram post on Monday, the actress said she “deeply regrets” agreeing to act in the comedy sketch six years ago alongside comedian Aries Spears. The Girls Trip actress added she wanted to shed more light on the matter but couldn’t due to the ongoing legal case.  

“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you,” Haddish says in her statement. “Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”

Haddish continues, “But, clearly, while the sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all — and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”

This acknowledgement comes after a lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week, alleging the two comedians groomed and coerced two siblings, aged 7 and 14 at the time, to take part in sexually explicit skits on two separate occasions.  According to the lawsuit, the seven-year-old appeared in a sketch titled “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes,” as reported by The Daily Beast.

Attorneys for Haddish and Spears, have dismissed the explicit lawsuit as a shakedown. This story is still developing.
