Beyoncé is allegedly talking with producers of the Oscars to perform during the show. According to Variety, organizers of the awards show want the pop queen to sing “Be Alive.”
It’s a track she co-wrote for the movie King Richard, which tells of the story of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams’ father.
The film currently boasts six nominations, including Best Picture.
Five songs are up for an Oscar award. Billie Eilish and her brother will sing their James Bond theme “No Time to Die.” Reba McEntire will perform a song from the movie Four Good Days while Sebastian Yatra will cover a hit from Encanto.
If the performance gets the green light, Beyoncé’s performance will be broadcast to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 27th.

Cardi B is allegedly dropping out of her lead role in Assisted Living just a week ahead of filming.
The “Press” rapper pulled out of the Paramount comedy due to being “overextended.”
According to reports, the film was set to star Cardi as a small-time criminal who goes into hiding at her grandmother’s nursing home after a heist gone wrong.
It remains to be seen if the last-minute decision will be followed by legal action.
The film would’ve been Cardi’s first lead role following small appearances in 2019’s Hustlers and 2021’s Fast & Furious 9.
Traci Braxton passed away Saturday morning after a private battle of esophageal cancer. Although her sister Toni Braxton issued a statement on behalf of the family shortly after her transition, It was the statement of her husband of 25 years and son that hit us the hardest. Her Son, Kevin Surratt Jr. also released a statement on Saturday on Instagram shortly after her passing saying-” When I heard the news about my mother being sick first thing she said was I’m going to fight and beat this. She fought to the end and today she’s at peace. I love my mother forever and this hurts so much but I’m at peace knowing she’s isn’t in pain anymore. NLE Choppa, real name Bryson Lashun Potts and his girlfriend, Marissa Da’Nae are mourning the loss of their child. On Saturday, the couple revealed in a touching YouTube video that Marissa suffered a miscarriage.
The couple were expecting a baby boy named Seven Da’Shun Potts.
She went on to thank everyone for supporting her and NLE Choppa through the loss. She also noted she was sharing her grief in an effort to help other women who have suffered the same thing.
In a heartfelt IG post Da’Nae captioned:
“Talking bout this is so hard. But with Bryson next to me and being my supporter, this has helped me more. Losing our Son is so hard for me, I couldn’t function. But he has has pulled me through and I’m thankful to have you by my side and with me along this journey. There’s a lot of women who suffer the things I suffer and go through the same things I go through. So this also help to open up and let other women know that they aren’t alone.”
Normani and Sam Smith are being sued for copyright infringement on their collaborative single “Dancing With A Stranger.”
Songwriters Jordan Vincent, Christopher Mirando, and Rosco Banlaoi say that the duo’s song has the “same” title, chorus and composition as a song they put out in 2017.
The plaintiffs also allege that Normani and Smith’s accompanying video is similar to their own.
“Dancing With A Stranger” hit platinum status in over ten countries and has been streamed over three-billion times.
This follows the announcement of the former Fifth Harmony star releasing a new single “Fair” on March 18th.
