This news arrived just days before the release of Lifetime‘s controversial docuseries Where Is Wendy Williams? Since then, there have been various concerning reports about the beloved former talk show host’s condition. The latest arrived last month. In a court filing obtained by the New York Post, her guardian Sabrina Morrissey said she “has become cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and incapacitated.”

This left her supporters concerned, but recently, Williams was spotted out at her son’s college graduation ceremony. There were only a few brief clips and photos captured of the personality at the event, but she appeared to be in good spirits as she supported Kevin Hunter Jr. This isn’t the first time this month fans have seen her out and about, however.

Last week, she was spotted picking up some food from Sho’nuff Oysters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She sat in the back of an SUV, smiling as a fan greeted her. These sightings have come as a relief to Williams’ fans, who are glad to see her looking happy and healthy. Sabrina Morrissey’s legal filing came amid her legal battle with Lifetime over their aforementioned docuseries about Williams.

She alleges that doc producers “cruelly took advantage of [Williams’] cognitive and physical decline by creating and publishing a documentary at a time when [Williams] was highly vulnerable and clearly incapable of consenting to be filmed.” Late last month, The Sun reported that Lifetime and its co-defendants accused Morrissey of misusing her authority to try to block the release of the documentary. They alleged that she was doing so in an attempt to protect herself from scrutiny.

Jay Leno’s Gruesome Injuries Have Social Media Users Speculating He Owes Someone Money

Recently, Jay Leno popped out with some gruesome-looking injuries, leaving social media users suspicious. The comedian is currently sporting an eye patch, a badly bruised face, a broken wrist, and more. According to him, he fell down a 60-foot hill near a Hampton Inn in Pennsylvania after underestimating how steep it was. Obviously, things took a turn for the worse, and the 74-year-old went barreling to the ground.

“To get to it (the restaurant), I didn’t have a car, so you had to walk about a mile and a half around,” he told TMZ of the incident. “I said, ‘Well, the hill doesn’t look that steep. … Let me see if I can go down the hill’ […] I fell down. Boom, boom, boom. rolled down the hill, hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye.” Leno proceeded to downplay his injuries, calling them “not that big a deal.”

“The great thing about this age, you don’t learn by your mistakes. You just keep doing the same stupid thing,” he also joked. While Leno’s supporters are hoping he has a speedy recovery, not all of them are buying his story about falling down a hill. In fact, several social media users speculate that he allegedly owes someone money, and got roughed up because of it.

Solange Details Her Experience With Several “Overwhelming” Autoimmune Disorders

Solange recently reflected on dealing with her own autoimmune disorder struggles in response to a post from Shaun Ross, who had written on Instagram about his experience with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) caused by long COVID. Solange says she’s been dealing with POTS, as well as Sjögren’s syndrome and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) since 2018.

“Sending you so much love and strength Shaun and to everyone in the comments dealing with the overwhelming, confusing, and isolating nature of POTS!” Knowles wrote in the comments. “I was diagnosed with POTS, Sjogren’s and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) back in 2018. I completely understand what it’s like to not want your health circumstances to define you.” She also gave a shoutout to the non-profit organization, Dysautonomia International. According to its website, the group “seeks to improve the lives of individuals living with autonomic nervous system disorders through research, physician education, public awareness and patient empowerment programs.”

Today, Childish Gambino took to Twitter/X to announce that the remainder of his North American, European, and UK tour dates have been canceled. The performer explained to his followers that he’s been dealing with an unspecified health issue, which he sought a professional opinion on in Houston earlier this week. Unfortunately, he learned that the issue was serious enough that he had to cancel that night’s show. Upon further analysis, he realized he wouldn’t be able to complete the rest of the tour.

“After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure of an ailment that had become apparent,” he wrote. “After being assesed, it became clear i would not perform that night, and after more tests, i could not perform the rest of the US tour in the time asked. As of now I have surgery scheduled and need time out to heal.“

We used to see Wendy Williams on a daily basis. She was the host of The Wendy Williams Show from 2008 to 2021. In the years since the show ended, however, the celebrity has been increasing harder to spot. She has removed herself from the spotlight. So much so, in fact, that a sighting of her is now big enough news to make headlines. The sighting occurred on August 19. Wendy Williams visited a store in New Jersey and posed for a photo with the owner, Victor Bowman. Page Six reported that the former TV host was “sharp, upbeat and aware,” in addition to being “very bubbly.”

An employee told the outlet that Wendy Williams was looking for various holistic products. “She talked about circulation improvement,” they recalled. “But didn’t want to get into too much detail on their first meeting and plans to come back in the near future.” The employee also said Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter, Jr., was explaining some of the products to her. “[She] was engaging but wasn’t as familiar with what we do her,” they added. Wendy Williams’ decision to keep a low public profile has coincided with her health struggles. She was diagnosed with progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in 2023, according to Today. The former validated her talents as a musician, and the latter her star power. Unfortunately, health concerns have plagued the rapper over the last 15 years. Missy Elliott was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease in 2008, which led to severe weight loss and dizzy spells. She’s not going to let her diagnosis slow her down, however.

The rapper told People Magazine that she plans to carry out her tour dates without the assistance of medication. She told the outlet that the first three years after her diagnosis were extremely difficult, but she’s learned to overcome it without having to rely on external treatment. “Every day I wake, I’m blessed to be here and in good health,” she conceded. “I’m feeling so much better now. That was a run. Every now and then you get a little ache in the leg or the knee, but outside of that, I feel good.” Missy Elliott divulged the secrets for her medication-less treatment, and they were simpler than one might think.

According to the rapper, a healthy lifestyle changed everything. “Under my doctor s supervision, I’ve been off medication,” she noted. “I’m completely managing the condition thru diet and exercise.” It’s comforting to know that Missy Elliott will be able to fulfill her tour, given how excited she was to do it back in April. “Fans have been asking me to tour forever,” she wrote in a press release. “But I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right. “Because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big. Missy Elliott is not letting Graves’ Disease slow her performing. She’s also continuing to make music at an impressive rate. She hasn’t put out an album since The Cookbook in 2005, but she told Variety that she’s sitting on six albums worth of material. “I probably have at least six albums worth of music at this point,” the rapper revealed. “I believe that it’ll be a day that everybody’s going on about their way and then you just look online and see an album date from me. So yeah, I think that’ll happen sooner than later.” It doesn’t sound like the Missy renaissance is ending anytime soon.

Victoria Monet has revealed that he’s dropping out of several festival appearances this summer due to health issues she’s been dealing with. In a statement on social media, she announced that she’ll no longer perform at Roots Picnic on June 1, Governors Ball on June 9, or the Blavity House Party Music Festival on June 15.

“I am gutted to share that I will no longer be able to perform at Governors Ball (NYC), Roots Picnic (Philadelphia) or Blavity (Nashville) this June,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Candidly I have been dealing with some ongoing health issues that have to be addressed right now, but I will be back out there soon, that’s a promise! Please know it wasn’t an easy call but it’s definitely for the best. All other shows are still moving forward as planned.”
