Gillie Screams At Crowd To “Get The F**k Out” Of His Boxing Event After Alleged Police Shooting

Gille Da Kid recently hosted a boxing event that apparently ended in nasty fashion, as he ranted in livid fashion against a crowd after patrons allegedly shot at police outside of the venue. It’s unclear exactly what happened and what the context behind this scathing reaction is, but given his past remarks and philosophies, he was absolutely livid. “Please, turn that music off,” Gillie began. “Me and Wallo put on for the city, and this how you b***hes treat us? Y’all outside, f***ing ripped the door out, shot at the f***ing police and all that dumba** s**t. Get the f**k out! All of y’all, get the f**k out! That’s what type of f***ing respect you give us, all the s**t we do? Get the f**k up out this joint.”

Furthermore, Gillie probably feels particularly strongly about this type of alleged incident due to how he lost his son to gun violence. “Long Live Cheese [crying emoji]. Miss u kid #WeGotChase,” he captioned a post showing off a video billboard that he and his family put up in New York City to honor the one-year anniversary of YNG Cheese’s tragic loss.

Gillie Pops Off On Boxing Event Crowd After Alleged Police Shooting

We’ll see if Gillie Da Kid and Wallo address this boxing event altercation at any point in the near future, although the former certainly made his point and thoughts clear. But not every headline around him is as combative or as angry, as he recently traded jokes with Cam’ron via Instagram about an edited meme picture of him and R. Kelly. “[laughing emoji] Dam homie don’t do that I told u I was playing,” Gillie responded to Killa Cam. Also, Wallo had his own jokes to make about the situation in the comments section of the Dipset rapper’s original post.

Meanwhile, Gillie drew divisive reactions earlier this year thanks to his hot battle takes about Kendrick Lamar and Drake, so he’s used to addressing conflict and backlash. However, this boxing event situation seems like an entirely different beast, and we hope that no one got hurt if something really did go down. Still, maybe we will receive more clarification on it in the coming weeks.

Gillie & Wallo Offer Kodak Black Some Touching Words Of Encouragement Amid Scandals

Kodak Black has been through a lot in his life, seeing all the highs and lows of fame along with a string of personal issues and run-ins with the law. While many might solely attribute this to his own choices, there are a lot of folks within the hip-hop community and outside of it with genuine concern for his well-being and a desire for him to get better. For example, Gillie and Wallo recently sat down to talk to Yak, and the latter gave an impassioned speech to him about his purpose, his special nature, his commitments, and his potential.

“Look at me, man,” Wallo said as he stretched his hand out to Kodak Black. “Listen. You special. Don’t ever doubt yourself. You got them babies counting on you. Now, it’s gon’ be times when you gon’ doubt yourself. You gon’ be in pain. But them babies counting on you. You got to be here. And I’m telling you that because a lot of people get around you and they see your success. A lot of people need you, and they’re yes men. I ain’t here to ‘Yes, man.’ You know me, every time we connect. You know I got love for you. Not because I need you. I got love for you ’cause you a young cat, and I was young, Gil’ was young. Live. Live!

Gillie & Wallo’s Impassioned Words For Kodak Black

Elsewhere, Wallo remarked on how Kodak Black lights up when he hears about his children and how people show love whenever they see him. He also told the Florida rapper to not focus on the Internet mobs laughing, mocking, or criticizing at his expense, as neither they nor Wallo truly know his pain. But Kodak has people counting on him, and also a lot of special talent that many similarly talented folks in his position didn’t get the chance to fully benefit from. In addition, the podcaster told the artist to help change the narrative around the community and foster a more positive outlook and example for their peers.

Don’t hurt yourself, brother, and that’s why we come down here,” Wallo told Kodak Black. “It’s about what you feel inside of yourself.” At the end, they stood up and embraced in a show of love and support, which we hope to see more of down the line.

Gillie Da King Honors His Son with Billboard on First Anniversary of His Death

gillie da kid

Gillie Da King is remembering his son Cheese on the first anniversary of his death by taking over a billboard. The digital display reads “1998-2023 Crushed us forever” and has various images of Gillie’s son at all ages.

Sharing the billboard on Instagram, Gillie writes, “Long Live Cheese Miss u kid. #WeGotChase.”

Last year, Gillie Da King and Wallo267 hosted Gillie Fest for their Million Dollaz Worth of Game brand. The event follows the untimely passing of Gillie’s son, Cheese, who was killed in a shooting in Philadelphia.

During Gillie’s time on stage, Gillie shared a message to the fans and loved ones in attendance.

Philadelphia’s rap royalty united to support Gillie Da King as he mourned the loss of his son. Wallo shared an image where Freeway, Meek Mill, and more pulled up on Gillie to offer their support in a trying time.

“Thank you everyone who came through these few days to show big cuzz love,” Wallo wrote. “The hugs, laughs, support means everything!”

Gillie’s son, 25-year-old Devin Spady, known as YNG Cheese, was killed in a triple shooting. Spady was shot in the back in the 5800 block of Mascher Street in the Olney neighborhood.

CJ Stroud Checks Gillie Da King Over Alleged Bias Against Kendrick Lamar

CJ Stroud checked Gillie Da King over his support for Drake and alleged bias against Kendrick Lamar during an appearance on the latest episode of Million Dollaz Worth Of Game. The star Houston Texans quarterback appeared on the show alongside his teammate Tank Dell. When the topic of Drake and Lamar’s feud came up, Stroud didn’t let Gillie’s past takes slide.

“When Kendrick beat Drake, you said that last diss wasn’t better. You!” Stroud said. “I’m gonna check you right now, Unc. You’re tripping. We know you want the [Drake] interview.” Gillie fired back: “This is a misconception. Bro, whether we interview somebody or not, our checks still the same.” From there, he recalled praising Lamar’s “Not Like Us” but Stroud clarified, “But after it came out, you said [Drake] won.”

Kendrick Lamar kicked off the viral feud with Drake by dissing him on Metro Boomin and Future’s song, “Like That,” earlier this year. In the following months, each dropped several diss tracks aimed at the other. The situation reached a climax during the weekend of May 4, when Lamar dropped “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” within 24 hours. Conversely, Drake dropped “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6.”

Elsewhere in Stroud’s conversation with on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, he named his top 5 QBs from last season. He went with Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, himself, and controversially to the hosts, Dak Prescott. “Dak’s that boy,” Stroud said. “Ya’ll not gonna say that because he ain’t won the big one yet.”  Be on the lookout for further updates on CJ Stroud as well as Kendrick Lamar on HotNewHipHop.

Gillie Crowns Drake As The Winner In Kendrick Lamar Rap Beef

After the release of Drake’s “The Heart Part 6,” in which he seemingly bows out of the Kendrick Lamar beef claiming victory, the hip-hop world is debating whether or not that’s true. Some think his diss was hard but that K.Dot is still up, others think he lost the battle, and others agree with his sentiment. One of these OVO sympathizers (at least, right now in terms of the rap beef) is Gillie, who took to Instagram on Sunday (May 5) to share his thoughts. Regardless of his final decision, it’s clear that he’s impressed with just how low both stooped to be disrespectful, which is one of his key rubric points in a hip-hop battle.

“It’s over with!” Gillie said of the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef. “Light-skinned n***as won. They took that s**t, man. That s**t over with, man. Kendrick can’t come back. When he came back again [with ‘Not Like Us’], I said, ‘Oh, he barbecue baked, honey-dipped, glazed, basted, seasoned the light-skinned n***as’ and then Drake just… [laughs]. It’s over with. The light-skinned n***as won.” Many in the comments section of the post below disagreed with this take, others were celebrating victory too, and some think it’s still an ongoing race.

For what it’s worth, Gillie gave both praise and criticism to Kendrick Lamar’s previous diss output, although it’s been all praise for Drake. He called “euphoria” “corn on the cob” but then gave flowers to “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us.” “That’s the type of s**t I’m talking about,” the Philly MC and entertainment icon remarked in an Instagram video. “You supposed to get disrespectful.” As such, calling him merely an OVO bot is pretty unfair, especially when there are actual bots on both sides.

Meanwhile, other veteran spitters like Cam’ron and Mase also chimed in after “The Heart Part 6.” Given everything alleged and all the controversy, it’s fair to say that this is a narrative battle right now until there’s some actual proof on the table. Maybe there’s no winner by the end of this. The only ones who have fully benefitted from all this are the labels and the culture that they intend to exploit.

Offset, Gillie & Wallo Take Philly Kids On Shopping Spree Before “SET IT OFF” Tour

Offset is setting off his SET IT OFF tour in Philadelphia tonight (Sunday, March 10), and wants to give the youth a warm welcome to his trek. Moreover, he teamed up with Million Dollaz Worth Of Game leaders Gillie and Wallo to host a shopping spree for kids in the area. From what a brief clip of the event shows, it seems like a very intimate, casual, grounded, wholesome, and pleasant experience for everyone involved. Sometimes, initiatives like these can become chaotic quick, but it’s clear that everyone here is very appreciative of the opportunity and of the significance of giving back to one’s supporters.

What’s more is that the former Migo recently spoke on how the youth’s creativity, hard work, and talent inspires him, using his tween son Jordan as an example. “That’s the main role,” Offset said of fatherhood. This was during a candid appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, on which he discussed a lot of personal topics and heartfelt reflections. “It’s my thoughts when I’m walking, and when I’m doing everything. I’m always thinking about it. Because I represent them, I don’t just represent me no more.

“My father, I love him,” the Without Warning spitter continued. “Ain’t no hate towards him. But unfortunately, he couldn’t be there. So, I made sure I gave a promise to myself, when I was a kid, before I even had kids, that no matter any circumstance, I’m always going to be there for my children, and it shows.” Then, Offset shared how surprised he was upon finding out that he passed his musical talent to Jordan.

“He surprised me,” he shared. “Like, last Christmas, he pulled out his computer. And Fruity Loops is a program, where you produce, and he’s like, ‘Daddy, can I play you a beat?’ So he plays me a beat, but then he makes it in front of me. I’m like, ‘You 12, man, how you know how to do that?’ And he’s like, ‘I just been practicing.’ And it sounded good.” For more news and the latest updates on Offset, stay logged into HNHH.

Gillie Da King Posts Young Thug Pic, Slams An Unnamed “Day One” Snitch

Gillie Da Kid recently uploaded a picture of him, Wallo, and Young Thug that left many fans feeling confused. “It’s Cr*zy when ur Day 1 tell on u [facepalm emoji] Free [spider emoji] @thuggerthugger1,” he wrote as the post’s caption, suggesting that he knows of someone who’s been around for a while who snitched on Thug. Of course, there are plenty of names that the rapper and media personality could be referring to with this, but people were confused given how much the duo advocates for folks to stay off the streets. Why, then, would they want him freed without knowing the extent of the crimes he committed?

Furthermore, that’s what many fans questioned in the post’s comments, especially given the recent tragic loss of Gillie’s son. Regardless, this always is a much more nuanced and gray conversation than what the Internet suggests, so there’s probably a lot of compromise and balance here. Systemic factors are just as influential in these situations as personal choices, and it makes it hard for folks to focus on the big picture. But it’s fair to say that there is certainly more the court or incarceration authorities could do to improve Young Thug’s quality of life while behind bars awaiting a verdict.

Gillie Calls Out One Of Young Thug’s “Day Ones”

However, even though we can’t hear much of the Atlanta trap pioneer these days, Gillie’s post reminds us that he’s still around and will have a lot to handle and answer for when this eventually resolves… whenever that is. Still, perhaps he either hinted at it already, predicted his legal trouble, or has the opportunity to record in jail. For example, Young Thug appeared to reference his RICO case with YSL via his feature on Kid Cudi’s INSANO on the track “RAGER BOYZ.” “Ayy, I told the judge, ‘I’m prolly biggest off,’ I told the b***h she can’t be chargin’ me for Saint Laurent. Yeah, I told my baby not to break the law, I told my baby mama, careful not to get involved,” he raps on the cut.

Meanwhile, who do you think the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game co-host is talking about here? Where do you think the YSL RICO trial will go next? However, you may feel, drop your thoughts on these topics down in the comments section below. Also, as always, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Gillie Da King and Young Thug.

Joe Budden Won’t Return To Gillie & Wallo’s “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” Podcast

There are fewer feuds within the rap podcasting world than within the genre itself, but there are still some scuffles here and there. However, one of its most prominent– that of Joe Budden and Gille and Wallo of Million Dollaz Worth Of Game– became water under the bridge this year. On this program, the three individuals squashed their issues with each other earlier in 2023, and came together for quite the engaging and compelling conversation. That’s why many folks thought something went wrong when the Slaughterhouse MC told the Need to Know Podcast that he’ll never appear on Gille and Wallo’s show again.

“I’m never doing that show again,” Joe Budden told the show’s host, SaVon. “If they call me, I’m there for them. Just not on their show. But anything that Gillie and Wallo need from me, I’m there. Love them, f**k with what they’re doing. I just don’t need to be on the show again. But they have my support.” Of course, this could be for many different reasons. Maybe they don’t want to recycle content just yet, maybe they don’t want to compete as directly with each other, or they simply don’t feel a strong enough urge to do it again.

Joe Budden Speaks On Other Content Creators: Watch

For those unaware, tensions between these groups grew back in 2020 when The Joe Budden Podcast discussed a producer’s departure from Million Dollaz Worth Of Game following a pricey Barstool Sports deal. “Why was y’all n***as talking about us on your podcast?” Gillie retorted on social media. “We don’t talk about other podcasts on our podcast. It must be dead fred over that motherf***er, huh? Stop speaking on business that you n***as don’t have no f***ing clue what y’all talking about. Because I will catch you n***as in traffic, and then what’s gonna happen?”

There were some more shots and jabs here and there, but things cooled down until their podcast appearance. Even though it’s something that’s apparently not happening again, it was great for the culture to see. Now, with 2024 right around the corner, we look forward to seeing what these gentlemen can bring to the new year and hip-hop. For more on Joe Budden, Gillie, and Wallo, keep checking in with HNHH.

Kai Cenat Defends The Bronx Against Gillie & Wallo After They Call It Dirty

Philly duo Gillie and Wallo are hip-hop staples at this point, both through their work in the underground and their acclaimed Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast. However, their latest episode brought in someone that is rap-adjacent: Kai Cenat, who was quite the the refreshing perspective to hear from. Moreover, they chopped it up about a lot of topics, including his controversial seven-day prison stream. But there was one discussion that had the streamer feeling a bit heated: the podcasting duo’s hate towards his home of The Bronx as the dirtiest part of New York City. In his defense, he explained how there are certain misconceptions that give the community a bad reputation.

“Damn, you came up in the dirtiest part of New York,” Gillie incited during their talk. “Bro, shut the f**k up, bro!” Kai Cenat retorted. “The f**k you mean it’s the dirtiest part? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, let’s shut that down now. The Bronx is not the dirtiest part, [it’s] Manhattan, b***h! No the f**k it’s not [where it’s nice at]! Bro, Manhattan got the dirtiest s**t, bro. It’s the most… it’s where everybody go!

“Look, The Bronx just look cr*zy because it’s the hood, bro,” Kai Cenat continued. “Hell yeah, a lot of f***ing rats down there [in Times Square], bro. Actually, the whole New York looks dirty. But it’s cool, though. You know why? ‘Cause it’s the aesthetic of New York, bro. It’s okay to go down the street, get a bacon egg and cheese, walk back home, and see a big-a** rat run across. You feel me? That’s just New York!” Considering his proximity to other NYC artists, it’s no wonder to see the Twitch giant defend his neighborhood.

Meanwhile, as he gets more into the hip-hop game every month, we’re sure that we’ll see him more often on platforms like these. After all, the 21-year-old seems to be one of the few people that has plenty of MCs on call to do pretty much anything fun. Hopefully those rappers haven’t tested his love for his hometown.
