Numerous People Were Reportedly Shot During French Montana’s Music Video Shoot In Miami Gardens

News has broken about an alleged shooting during French Montana’s music video shoot. According to Miami 7 News, the video and incident took place at The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens. The local police and fire rescue reportedly responded to a call around 8 p.m.

So far, Miami Gardens Police have not confirmed the exact number of those affected, although it has been rumored to be ten so far. The news outlet has also reported that four victims were airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center.

“We’re still working [the scene]. Yeah, there’s multiple shots, there’s multiple cases,” MGPD detective Diana Gorgue said, per Miami 7. “We’re still working. We can’t confirm any numbers at this moment, because everything is still fresh, and they’re still investigating.”

“We had a total of 10 [victims]. Four brought themselves to the hospital, and we’ve treated six transported,” a first responder allegedly said.

In addition, Miami 7 reportedly spoke to witnesses on the scene, including a man named Ced Mogul, who was watching Montana film the video.

“I took off running, and I was looking back, but I was like, ‘You know what? Let me just duck first, and then people started asking me, you know, ‘Can you help me?’” Mogul told them. “When I realized people were asking for help, there was nothing you could do about it when you got shot.”

Currently, the outlet has reported no fatalities and that French Montana was not among those injured.

French Montana Shares “Coke Boys 6” Tracklist Ft. A$AP Rocky, Nav & More

French Montana is less than 12 hours away from the release of Coke Boys 6. The project was initially set to drop in December but it ended up getting pushed back. So, when he shared a new release date, it was a surprise to find out that it would be a Gangsta Grillz tape.

This morning, French finally unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming effort, alongside the rest of the Coke Boys team. The sixth installment in the Coke Boys series will include 29 songs in total. As usual, the project will boast a slew of appearances from major acts, many that French developed a rapport with over the years.

Some of the names attached to the tracklist include A$AP Rocky, Vory, Rob49, Jeremiah, Benny The Butcher, EST Gee, Nav, King Combs and Kodak Black. However, the album is packed with guest appearances beyond French. The incarcerated Max B has two appearances on the tracklist. Meanwhile, the late Chinx will also have a moment to shine on Coke Boys 6. Obviously, the Bronx-bred rapper wants to use this opportunity to highlight his roster of artists.

Following the album’s release, French Montana will host signings in several cities across America, beginning in Miami on Jan. 6th. From there, he’ll head to Waterbury, CT, Philadelphia, PA, and Washington, DC.

Coke Boys 6 will be French Montana’s follow-up to 2022’s Montega, a joint effort with Harry Fraud. The short project felt like a return to form for French, especially with Fraud holding down the production side.

The last installment in the Coke Boys mixtape series arrived in 2020. On Coke Boys 5, French, once again, pulled the stars out including Lil Durk, NBA Youngboy, A$AP Rocky, and even a posthumous appearance from Pop Smoke.

We’ll see how Coke Boys 6 ends up panning out for French. Check out the full tracklist below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

French Montana Will Ring In The New Year With His ‘Coke Boys 6’ Gangsta Grillz Mixtape With DJ Drama

French Montana is back. The Bad Boy rapper will drop the sixth installation of his Coke Boy mixtape series later this week. The project will be in collaboration with DJ Drama and released as a Gansta Grillz mixtape. Coke Boy 6 is expected to drop on Friday, January 6. The DJ and record executive announced the forthcoming project on Instagram yesterday (January 2), writing, “2023‼ New Year… Same Hustle‼” in the caption.

The mixtape was initially slated for a December release date, but it was pushed back for unforeseen reasons. Coke Boys 6 will serve as French’s first full-length project since 2022’s Montega LP, which dropped back in June 2022.

Outside of music, the “No Shopping” rapper has been focused on his philanthropic side, raising over $200 million for the Ugandan healthcare system. French Montana was bestowed with the “Innovator Award” while attending the annual Pencils Of Promise Gala at the Museum Of The Moving Image in New York City this past October.

“MAKING MORE HISTORY FOR MY PEOPLE!” he wrote on Instagram back in October. “Thank you, @pencilsofpromise, for honoring me with the Innovator Award at last night’s gala. Healthcare and education is a fundamental part of our human rights and should be accessible across the globe.”

French Montana Announces “Coke Boys 6” As Gangsta Grillz Mixtape

French Montana is giving fans exactly what they’re looking for — a new Coke Boys tape.

Over the past few months, French Montana’s indicated that he has a new mixtape on the way, though he didn’t provide much of an update. However, it appears that he’s preparing for the release of Coke Boys 6 this month.

DJ Drama hit Instagram today where he revealed that French’s sixth installment in the mixtape series will drop as a Gangsta Grillz mixtape. “2023 New Year…Same Hustle Droppin 1/6,” he wrote. “@frenchmontana ‘Coke Boys 6…Money Heist Edition’ Gangsta Grillz…I Gave Yall A Chance To Catch Up…What Happened.”

“WAVE GODS !!! From st barts back to the block free max b ! COKE BOYS 6 gangsta grillz edition @djdrama THIS FRIDAY,” French captioned his post.

French initially announced that the project would be dropping on Dec. 9th, 2022, but that didn’t end up happening. In a short trailer shared to his Instagram page, he revealed that Coke Boys 6 includes appearances from Max B, D Thang, Cheese, Kenzo B, Stove God, T Dot, Ayoub, Chinese Kitty and the late Chinx. French hasn’t unveiled any other details surrounding the project but we’re sure it’ll come in the next few days.

The Bronx rapper’s upcoming project follows the release of 2022 Montega with Harry Fraud.

DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz tape became even more popular in the past two years. In addition to Coke Boys 6, Drama has a few other Gangsta Grillz tapes in the works including Juelz Santana’s We In Motion and an apparent mixtape with Pusha T. Last year, Drama teamed up with Dreamville, Symba, and more for their own installments in the Gangsta Grillz series.

We’ll keep you posted on these projects. For now, check out the trailer for French Montana’s Coke Boys 6. Sound off in the comments with the artists you’d like to see on French’s upcoming mixtape.

French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly & More Trend From “Rappers We Need To Leave In 2022” Viral Tweet

Even if some artists are better than others, some social media users are a bit too eager to point that out. French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly, and other rappers trended on social media this week for their inclusion in a viral tweet of “Rappers We Need To Leave In 2022.” As if Megan Fox wanting a girlfriend wasn’t enough, MGK received his fair share of both criticism and defense in the comments. Moreover, Stans and haters argued over whether these rappers deserved a placement.

Also included in the list are Yeat and Jack Harlow, which many people might say is a tad less contested. Still, the list came from tweeter @kiracantmizz and sparked a hefty conversation in the reply threads.

Meanwhile, some fans were incredulous at these placements, because all four artists had notable years. French released his Harry Fraud collab project Montega with a deluxe to boot. Also, his smash hit “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee reached Diamond status this year with 10 million copies sold.

Moreover, Jack Harlow dropped Come Home, The Kids Miss You, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. In addition, he had one of the biggest songs of the year in “First Class” and is rumored to be dating Dua Lipa.

However, MGK already has his mate in wife Megan Fox, and he released his mainstream sellout album back in March. Finally, Yeat had an incredible blowout year with his albums 2 Alivë and Lyfë. Also, he released “Rich Minion” for the Minions: The Rise of Gru film, which became a viral sensation, and had a wildly successful tour.

With all this in mind, many users wondered whether they were really all that bad. Nevertheless, it’s fair to say that these artists have unfortunately gotten more hate than others. Some of that hate has been for reasons beyond the music, but when it comes to their art, to each their own.

What do you think of French Montana, Yeat, Machine Gun Kelly, and Jack Harlow being left in 2022? Moreover, are you excited for new music from them in 2023? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments and check out some more reactions down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for more debates around the genre’s biggest artists.

NBA Youngboy Names Young Thug and French Montana In His Top 5 Rappers List

youngboy Never Broke Again

NBA Youngboy has stepped into the lane of talk radio with his new, Never Broke Again Radio show on Amazon. During last week’s episode, The “Kacey Talk” rapper listed his top 5 favorite rappers.

“My top five rappers I’ll say, Yeat, I’ll say [Young] Thug, I’ll say French Montana…Glizzy, I will say Shy Glizzy, yeah, the last one Soulja Slim,” said NBA Youngboy.

The Louisiana rapper has collaborated with three of the five rappers on his list. Back in 2020, Youngboy and French linked up for “So Real” from his CB5mixtape. Shy Glizzy appeared on YB’s 3800 Degreez mixtape on the track “Hard.” He worked with Yeat recently on the “I Don’t Text Back” from Youngboy’s Hey Ma’ I Got A Family album. He has yet to collaborate with Young Thug or his fellow New Orleans native Soulja Slim. From YB’s track record, it is only a matter of time before the latter collab comes to fruition.

As you can see, NBA Youngboy has no problem giving credit to his fellow rap peers. His new Amazon radio show launched earlier this month shows off his versatility.

“Justin Credible Presents: R-Mean” Is Here With Features From Jay Critch, B-Real, French Montana, & More

During his recent appearance on Power 106 Los Angeles’ LA Leakers, California-born rapper R-Mean made it known that he and Justin Credible have a joint album on the way. Thankfully, fans didn’t have to wait long between his undeniably impressive freestyle and the release date, as the 11-track effort landed on Friday (December 16).

Previously released titles from the project include “God Flows” with B-Real and a solo title from the rapper called “The Gemini Effect.” Additionally, his “Yalla Habibi” collab with French Montana and “Enemies” with BlocBoy JB and S4G4 made it on his new arrival.

New songs from R-Mean include “Mind of a Maniac” as well as “Play This At My Funeral” with Jay Critch. Later on the tracklist, we hear him shine on “Angel with One Wing” and “Rooting For Me.”

As we mentioned earlier, the “Kings” hitmaker didn’t hold back during his LA Leakers freestyle. Marking his first appearance on the beloved series since 2017, this time around he rapped over two Scott Storch instrumentals.

Firstly, he annihilated The Game’s “Westside Story,” and later, he went on to take down Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “Lean Back” beat.

“Teaching’ ‘em lessons, came here to give the Leakers the business, and he ‘finna witness / Word to Nipsey, preach independence / A beacon of hope to my people, this sh*t deeper than lyrics,” are among the bars he crafted on the spot.

Finally, stream Justin Credible Presents: R-Mean on Spotify or Apple Music below. Afterward, let us know what titles are your favourite in the comments.
