Daz Dillinger Laughs Off Snoop Dogg & The Game Meet-Up

Daz Dillinger had a laugh in response to The Game sharing a video of himself hanging out with Snoop Dogg on Instagram, Monday. Benny The Butcher, Hit-Boy, Big Hit, and Jay Worthy were all also present in the clip as well. In the comments section, Dillinger wrote: “LOL,” prompting fans to theorize he was throwing shade.

“U can’t be this jealous lol,” one fan replied to Dillinger. Another wrote: “Snoop comments on his posts just the same. They need to patch things.” The two cousins have feuded numerous times over the years.

The comment comes after Dillinger addressed his feud with Snoop in a post on his Instagram Story, last month. “Me and Snoop been feuding for a little bit because the older cousin trying to punk the little cousin, but I’m not going for that sh*t ’cause I beat n****s up for you. You don’t beat n****s up for me, cuz,” he said at the time. As for Snoop, he opened up about moving on from Dillinger in an interview with Noisey back in 2013. “I had to cut out family members,” he admitted. “Me and my cousin Daz fell out before. When me and him fell out it was like, I taught you everything you know. I put you in the game. And you go against me? But that’s what the laws of the game do. It puts you in a position to where sometimes you have to have these types of situations to see who really ‘posed to be there. This sh*t ain’t made for everybody. You know what I’m saying? It’s like everybody ain’t gonna be a f*cking star.”

Jadakiss has given love to 50 Cent after showing “nothing but love” to Kiss’ mother and aunt at a recent appearance. “Momma love and aunt Bea popped up on @50cent and he showed them nothing but love,” Kiss wrote on Instagram. The kind words come after Kiss urged fans to choose Fif over other touring acts earlier in the year.

“For the music that we do, to see n-ggas up in that kind of caliber, from our cloth of music to have that kind of production and see my n-ggas up there, that sh-t is incredible. I encourage n-ggas to see this. Beyoncé, you better catch that Final Lap Tour. Drake and 21, the Final Lap. Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, catch it. Who else I say? For hardcore Hip Hop lovers and you could only cop one [ticket]?” Kiss said of Fif’s “Final Lap” Tour in September.

However, Fif isn’t the only person who has been getting love from Jadakiss. During a recent appearance on 7am in Brooklyn, Carmelo Anthony found a way to wow Kiss. As Kiss gave Usher his flowers for his recently-ended Vegas residency, he also mentioned that he still fondly remembered his time working with Usher. A moment later, Anthony was dropping a perfect cover of Kiss’ verse from that collaboration, “Throwback”. “He killed it!” Jadakiss exclaimed once Anthony had powered through the verse. Kiss and Melo have been friends for most of the latter’s professional basketball career. After Melo retired in May, Kiss was sure to honor his close friend. As Jadakiss began his performance at an Air Jordan event in July, he played audio from the 2003 NBA Draft, specifically the announcement of Melo going third overall to the Nuggets. Melo was in the crowd and was evidentially touched by the unorthodox shoutout. Kiss has also referred to Anthony as his “little brother” on numerous occasions during their friendship. Furthermore, Kiss’ son previously called his dad the “Melo of the [music] industry”, drawing yet another parallel between the pair.

In a sweet new clip, the seven-year-old is seen confidently strutting across the stage, performing Rihanna’s portion of her father’s 2008 hit, “Live Your Life.”

“Heiress Harris everybody,” T.I. announced before adorably ushering her offstage. Clearly, the crowd was feeling her performance, as she was met with tremendous applause. Social media users are loving it too, based on The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. Commenters are coming through with plenty of support for the up-and-coming icon. “She is literally a BORN STAR,” one fan writes. “I wish great things for this baby,” another user also adds.

This is far from the only time T.I. highlighted his daughter’s impressive list of accomplishments, however. Earlier this month, he took to social media to celebrate her radio debut, sharing a clip of the exciting moment on Instagram. Her song, “What Does Christmas Mean To You?” is heard playing in the car as the MC and his son listen excitedly. “Hey that was your little sister on the radio!” he shouted, later asking, “How you feel big brother?”

“Proud!” he responded with a smile. Despite the hitmaker showing public appreciation for his children, his family life has been under fire in recent months, following an altercation with his son King in November. The 19-year-old and his father got into it at a Hawks game, sparking speculation surrounding their relationship as a result. It’s unclear if the fashionista hopes to get pregnant again so soon after having Riot, like she did with RZA, or if she’ll be taking time to focus on releasing the music she’s been promising fans for some time now, and heading out on a subsequent tour.

Earlier this week, cameras caught all three Mayers boys and their matriarch, with Rocky stealing the show in his disco ball-inspired pants. The Testing rapper paired the bold piece with a brown and white fur coat over a grey hoodie, notably carrying both of their little boys, who were also dapperly dressed. Rih looked far more casual than ASAP in her mom jeans and shacket. Still, she and the New Yorker did cutely coordinate by rocking the same shoes.

In a recent chat with Vlad, Boosie Badazz shared thoughts on how it’s tricky for kids of famous folks, especially in hip-hop. The main idea was about growing up famous, with a focus on King Harris, T.I.’s son. Vlad, who made it big as a DJ with immigrant parents, praised how having famous folks can help you out. He pointed to Ice Cube and Denzel Washington’s kids in acting. Saying it’s smart to use your famous family to succeed. But without getting into the tough stuff they might rap or act about.

Boosie agreed but added a twist. How it’s hard for a rapper’s kid to be taken seriously if they haven’t lived the tough life their lyrics talk about. Boosie said it’s tough to be seen as real in a music scene that really values street life stories. While he liked the idea of famous parents helping out, he said it’s crucial to be careful not to look fake. He continued by saying, “My son would have to kill nine people to be a ‘gangster.’” Essentially, he is pushing the importance of the message of really being “about that life,” if that’s what is being portrayed through music. He used the parallel of actors relating to their life experiences in order to be considered good.

Boosie also got real about the dangers of pretending to live a violent life. He straight-up said that trying to be a “gangster” without real experience is not just fake but also risky. Boosie wants his own kids and others to follow in their famous parents’ footsteps in music or acting. But not to copy the potentially harmful lifestyles they might talk about in their songs or act out on screen. Outside of his Vlad interviews, Boosie has been making headlines for other things. As of late, a music video featuring a man who looks a lot like Boosie Badazz has been making its rounds online. Effectively being called his doppelgänger, the Boosie lookalike starred in a hilarious music video. He’s also been dubbed as a “Fake Boosie.”

Moreover, this talk between Boosie and Vlad gives a glimpse into the tricky path that celebrity kids have to navigate. It’s like walking a tightrope between using the perks of having famous parents to get ahead. But also, avoiding the problems that might come from looking like you’re not being true to yourself. The rapper has been dropping some new songs over the course of the last couple of weeks. He dropped off “UR THE MOON” and followed that up with “2024.” Subsequently, on Tuesday night, he came through with the track “H00DBYAIR.” This song is garnering universal praise right now, and as it turns out, the song comes with a revelation. “I was 24 when I had lil’ Onyx (then I had a daughter, I got a daughter too)/ 27 when I had Eve/ Now I can finally sleep,” he spits. Simply put, Carti just had a second child.

It was also reported that he had tried to pull her out of a car, and was unhinged during the alleged incident. This took place in December of 2022 when the alleged victim was 14 weeks pregnant.

Hit-Boy shared an emotionally candid post on Instagram, Saturday, celebrating the release of his collaborative project with his father, Big Hit, titled, The Truth is in My Eyes. In doing so, he reflected on growing up with the dream of being a musician.

“Being in elementary school telling people me and my dad were gonna make music together one day when he’s back out on the streets,” he captioned an Instagram post. “Over the years we have had points where he touched down for a second maybe a few months MAX and we started recording and making some progress. Then he’d let the streets win and he’d end up right back in the cell for years at a time.”

As it turns out, they aren’t the only two stars who’ve found out about sharing a bloodline in recent years. During an appearance on the Connect The Dots podcast, comedian Tracy Morgan shared that he’s got family ties with one of our favourite New York spitters – Nas.

“I turn the last page, and guess who’s sitting there? Nas. Me and Nas is third cousins on my mom’s side,” he said of his experience filming an upcoming episode of Finding Your Roots. “Me and Esco was always tight before that. I did a show years ago on Comedy Central called One Mic that was for Nas’ mom that just passed away, so me and Esco always been tight,” he further explained. Apparently, the revelation made Morgan emotional, and he and Nas shed some tears together when the former had the opportunity to share the news.
