Pusha T Delays European Tour…Again

Pusha T has been forced to yet again post the European leg of his It’s Almost Dry tour. Due to “production issues” fans will have to wait a bit longer to experience the tour. The My Name Is My Name rapper took to Instagram earlier today to apologize to his fans. Additionally, while giving his apology, he cited the same issue that prevented him from giving the full experience to his U.S. fans. “Apologies to my European family, but I have to shift my European tour dates due to production issues,” King Push wrote. “After the overwhelming demand and sellouts it breaks my heart,” Push continued. Furthermore, he explained that the show couldn’t go as envisioned with the original timeframe. However, Pusha T noted that his Euro fans deserve the full experience of It’s Almost Dry and provided later dates.

Moreover, you can purchase your tickets for the new dates now at Ticketmaster. In other news, Pusha T blessed the Novo during the U.S. leg of his tour last June. He brought out Pharrell as a surprise guest. Not only that, Pusha took the time to give Skateboard P his flowers while on stage. “Without Pharrell, there is no It’s Almost Dry,” Pusha T told the audience. He continued saying, “He brought a whole different dynamic to my album, man. I love you, bro, for everything, always.” Push detailed how the In My Mind artist brought him into the game and put him on to all sorts of things throughout his career.

Pusha T Has Bad News

Pharrell who produced It’s Almost Dry alongside Ye West replied in typical Skateboard P fashion. “Man, I am just so proud of my brother. He’s been doing this for over 20 years,” the cultural architect told the crowd. He added, “Number one album in the country. Everybody has been talking about it, y’all know this is the best one.”

While it’ll be a minute ’til Puha T is back on the road touring in Europe, at least we can still listen to It’s Almost Dry while we wait. How do you feel about Push pushing the tour back? Have you listened to It’s Almost Dry? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Snoop Dogg Cripwalks To Bagpipes In Scotland

Snoop Dogg busted some moves while a bagpipe player played for him when he landed in Glasgow, Scotland. He landed in the country for his European tour when he was given a proper Scottish welcome on the tarmac. They got somebody to play the bagpipes and do a rendition of “Still D.R.E.” in a kilt for the rapper. Snoop Dogg was all for it. After dancing to the song for a bit, gave the bagpipe player a thumbs-up before entering a van. Online reception to the song was just as positive as Snoop Dogg’s was.

According to Glasgow Live, the bagpiper, named Ross Ainsley, was only given a single day to prepare. He explained that he found “Still D.R.E.” to be a great pipe piece and called the experience “very cool”. Ainsley has been described as “one of the most fluid, naturally-gifted and exciting pipers of the 21st century.” He is originally from Bridge Of Earn in Perthshire. Earlier this week, he was in Grantown working on his next solo album. Next Friday, he will be in the village of Croy for the music event Croy Live.

Snoop Dogg Gets Down With Some Bagpipes

Snoop Dogg was in Scotland for his European tour that was originally supposed to go down in 2020. Then Covid happened and he rescheduled it to 2022. However, he had to cancel the tour at the last minute for “unforeseen scheduling conflicts including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects.” He had never explained what those unforeseen conflicts were. However, they were not too major since he was still able to do his American tour later that year. This current tour is to make up for the cancellation he had to do. Snoop Dogg is set to have a concert in Denmark tonight, before going to London’s O2 Arena on March 21, and Paris’s Accor arena on the 25th.

Snoop Dogg and Scotland have had a close relationship for years, ever since he became a fan of Glasgow’s Celtics soccer club. He has even admitted that Glasgow is one of his favorite cities in Europe. This love came in 2005 when he and his entourage were given free Celtic shirts by DJ Big Al. In exchange, Snoop recorded some lines for the DJ’s mixtape.

Westside Gunn Abruptly Cancels European Tour

While the post-pandemic concert scene is raking in big numbers for your favorite artists, not all shows are as lucky. Westside Gunn just abruptly canceled his European tour leg, with thousands of fans left in shock. Moreover, he planned to begin the tour last Friday (January 13th), but he canceled the whole run on Thursday. As one of the best rappers of the year in 2022, many were surely ecstatic to see the Flygod live.

Via Instagram in a since-deleted post, Gunn spoke to supporters and fans and explained the bad news.

“It was nothing more I wanted to do than to start seeing my supporters around the world. It’s def still a dream and I’m gonna work on it immed to still make it happen, unfortunately this time things weren’t handled right and that’s too far for me to be gone.”

Furthermore, the Buffalo rapper said he lost $50K on plane tickets. Also, he said that “something isn’t right and I’m somewhere I’ve never been,” which is vague but might refer to behind-the-scenes logistics. Unfortunately, he clarified that he’s also unable to provide ticket refunds himself, as he never took deposits. “Ppl out of $40 I’m out 50,000 I spent just on plane tickets!!!” he wrote.

“So I lost but GOD IS THE GREATEST and hopefully one day I’ll see everybody who’s reading this one day in life,” he continued. “I’m the number 1 guy for our lane who pushes the culture but if it’s not right we gotta make it right and unfortunately this situation doesn’t have the time to fix.”

Fortunately, some venues have already responded to Gunn’s cancellation with open arms and open minds, despite the frustration. Dublin venue The Sugar Club wrote a message to fans concerning the canceled show.

“We’re currently awaiting an official update from Westside Gunn’s agent on the status of the tour,” they stated. “But we will of course process refunds for all tickets purchased as soon as we have more information. We hope to resolve this by the end of the day.”

Meanwhile, the recently announced rap retiree continued his post with an apology to fans.

“I have somebody working on me coming out soon now and if u ever hear about me coming again from me it’s Valid!!!!” he wrote. “So get those tickets and I promise u I’ll make it up…

“But again to all my supporters I love y’all and if u spent that ticket price your blessings will come back 10fold,” he concluded. “Just know if u don’t get your money back I don’t have it. And again I REPEAT I can’t give u money back I NEVER got paid I’m down 50k of my own money.”
