Corey Holcomb Faces Accusations Of Punching A Female Comedian Over Months-Long Feud

Corey Holcomb has been accused of punching a female comedian named Cristina Payne outside of the Hollywood Improv club earlier this month. Moreover, according to law enforcement sources that reportedly spoke to TMZ, witnesses allegedly saw him approach Payne while he screamed at her and her friends. Apparently, the red flag spotter threatened to punch her in the face, and when a man got in between them, Holcomb allegedly went over him and punched her in the face. Sources also claim that Holcomb and witnesses tackled the man in between him and Payne, that Holcomb ran away, and that police on the scene filed a battery report.

Furthermore, according to reports, paramedics evaluated Cristina Payne and the other man after Corey Holcomb’s alleged attack, although they did not go to the hospital. According to TMZ‘s alleged sources, this stems from a months-long feud, as Holcomb allegedly told folks that he would “super sock” Payne. “Somebody come get this b***h before I f**k her up,” he allegedly expressed. The occasional homophobe is allegedly using his podcast to dismiss these accusations, per alleged sources close to Payne, but they claim that plenty of witnesses could testify against him if an arrest and charge occurs.

At press time, no arrests have emerged and the case is still open. Corey Holcomb has had his fair share of issues with other comics, such as a viral shouting match with Donnell Rawlings over Holcomb dissing him and Dave Chappelle. “I catch you up in all these rooms in f***ing Brooklyn and you ain’t ever f***ed with [unintelligible]… You wanna talk about it?” Rawlings yelled at Holcomb. “You saying I’m mild, you saying I ain’t come through the streets or the gutters is straight bulls**t.”

Meanwhile, we’re sure that this won’t stop Corey Holcomb from getting his jokes off about Shannon Sharpe, Dave Chappelle, Cristina Payne, or anyone else. But hopefully both sides here can clear this situation up, as there’s a hatchet to bury here in an already combative and divisive year for the comic community. Sometimes words can’t solve every problem, but violence only creates them.

Andrew Tate Won’t Be Going To Trial In His Trafficking Case…But There’s A Catch

Andrew Tate faced a slew of criminal allegations over the past few years, but this piece of good news for him might not actually help him get over those. For those unaware, authorities arrested him and his brother Tristan, along with two women, about two years ago for allegedly running a sexually exploitative gang in the United Kingdom and Romania. They face charges of alleged human trafficking, whereas Andrew has an additional alleged sexual assault charge. The social media influencer and his colleagues did get a win, though, as a Romanian court ruled on Thursday (December 19) that their case will not go to trial… yet.

The judge ruled that prosecutors committed various legal and procedural mistakes in their filing against Andrew Tate and company, but this does not mean that their case closed immediately. After all, there’s an additional legal matter in Romania against the brothers. But for this situation specifically, the court returned the sex trafficking case to the prosecutors and outlined two options: they can submit new evidence to sustain their charges, or amend them in favor of a different approach.

“The review revealed significant procedural flaws and raised serious concerns about the integrity of the investigative process, further undermining the credibility of the prosecution’s case,” Andrew Tate’s spokesperson Mateea Petrescu stated. She added that this review – which they requested from the appeals court – “confirms the lack of credible evidence or consistency in the accusations” on behalf of their opposing attorneys. This follows a formal indictment last year and the cohort’s denial of any allegations against them. Back in November, the court removed evidence such as witness statements from two alleged victims and statements from the Tate brothers.

In addition, the court also explained that prosecutors did not explain the charges against Andrew Tate to an alleged female victim in the case, and that they failed to properly present the charges against the two women. Another point of contention they pointed out was the lack of specification when it comes to the assets authorities confiscated. However, the Tate brothers also face legal trouble in the United Kingdom, so they are not out of the woods.

Jamie Foxx Calls His Health Scare A “Near-Death Experience” In New Netflix Special

Jamie Foxx will make his grand statement on his health scare last year via his new Netflix comedy special What Had Happened Was, which premieres on the streaming platform next Tuesday (December 10). While it’s not out yet, some new quotes from it inform previous rumblings about its content, with him labeling his struggles as a “near-death experience” according to TMZ. The actor and singer recorded this show back in October, and some allegations sprouted forth about what he said during it. He allegedly made a joke about Diddy and even roped him into his hospitalization, something that Sean Combs’ team issued a statement on.

In an email Diddy’s team reportedly sent to AllHipHop, they called all this speculation around Jamie Foxx “outlandish, ridiculous and baseless.” In fact, they even alleged that Foxx’s team also denied that he ever spoke on the Bad Boy mogul in any serious way, which lines up with other reports that he allegedly just joked about the situation and didn’t make any other allegations. It’s all still pretty confusing, but on Tuesday, What Had Happened Was will show us what everyone’s really making this fuss about.

Elsewhere, Jamie Foxx received some due flowers amid his Netflix special’s rollout, particularly from Jennifer Lopez. “If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have made it through that season,” she told Entertainment Weekly about her In Living Color costar. “That was when I first got to L.A…. I used to [go back to New York] every weekend ’cause I was so lonely — I hated it, I missed my family. Jamie and I, we became really good friends, and we’re still friends to this day, honestly. With that in mind, we have no idea why he would choose to reveal via his Instagram Story that he almost forgot their son Leodis’ birthday. “Took Leodis to his doctor’s appointment back in September & barely knew his date of birth..” Jackson wrote. “His mom was on speed dial & the nanny also helped answer the other questions. But we got it done! Which is all that matters.” It was back in September, Darius; why do you do this to yourself?!

Jokes aside, people took this a lot more seriously than they probably should, thanks to the context of Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson’s relationship. “It got so out of control,” the former told PEOPLE of their extinguished bond. “The only way I knew how to bring order was through the court. […] Not just with my romantic relationships, but with family and friends, [my fame has] always become a burden. Too many voices get in. It can make everybody else not trust you. In fact, it seems like the two want to commit to a healthy and cooperative coparenting relationship when it comes to their baby boy Leodis, as they went out for a zoo trip earlier this year after their public falling-out. Of course, fans continue to debate whether these signs of goodwill owe themselves to a genuine desire to heal or to their wishes to clean up their act on social media.

But frankly, that’s an irrelevant conversation that’s none of our business. Moreover, Dwyane Wade’s longtime partner spoke on folks’ rumors that she got plastic surgery. “A high pony for a lady of a certain age is like a facelift,” she remarked. “As much as what happens or doesn’t happen with my face is speculated, if you can’t be missing for six months to get a facelift — which I’ve never been missing for six months, get it right — the high pony is going to snatch you here.

“A pony here is going to snatch you here,” Gabrielle Union added, gesturing towards the middle of her head. “And a low [pony], here [points to back of neck].” So it looks like she did not have any work done at all, and even if she had, that doesn’t make her any less stunning or worthy of loving herself. Union’s been having a pretty great 2024 all things considered, even stopping by Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla’s tour earlier this year to have an awesome time.

However, this was also a relatively spicy year for Gabrielle Union in the headlines, given what many fans assumed about her relationship with her peers. If you didn’t hear, fans saw that she liked a tweet that seemed to shade Vivica A. Fox in response to her comments about Taraji P. Henson. In particular, Henson complained about unfair play in Hollywood concerning issues of gender and race.

That whole situation never really cleared up, so we can probably assume that everyone involved resolved their issues privately or it was never an issue to begin with. Regardless, none of that probably bothered Gabrielle Union in the first place. Not even these plastic surgery rumors can inspire that much ire, as she has plenty of experience in clapping back at trolls who criticize her looks. Orlando Brown often goes viral for all the wrong reasons, and his most recent antic might just take the cake. Moreover, the actor recently appeared on Deshae Frost’s livestream and made everyone that was with him uncomfortable by issuing out yet another ridiculously inappropriate claim. “‘We listen and we don’t judge,’” he read something on Frost’s screen. “I had sex with my mama and my daddy. ‘We listen and we don’t judge!’ I got a baby with my mama and my daddy. ‘We listen and we don’t judge!’ And I’m telling you the motherf***ing truth! […] Thank you for giving me some p***y. I love my mom for that, you know? She taught me how to f**k like a man. My own mother did.”

Of course, this is beyond bizarre, and it’s entirely likely that Orlando Brown is just trolling here and taking things about as far as he can push them. Whether or not that desensitizes the comments themselves or makes them any less creepy or uncomfortable is up to your own personal view. But it certainly lines up with all the other absurdities that he’s spouted over the years.

Either way, we’re sure more developments will be just as controversial in the future.

Wendy Williams’ Guardian Accused Of Mishandling $400K For Controversial Documentary

Wendy Williams’ court-appointed legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, is reportedly in a legal battle with the production companies behind the Where Is Wendy Williams? documentary, according to a Tuesday (November 26) report from The Sun. For those unaware, the TV host was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in May of 2023, about a year after a guardianship started to manage her health and finances. While the February 2024 documentary – which Lifetime, A&E, and others produced – intended to portray a comeback through a podcast, it revealed a lot of controversies around her mental state and who was really looking out for her.

Furthermore, Sabrina Morrissey sued Lifetime, A&E Television Networks, Entertainment One, and Creature Films for this “blatant exploitation” of Wendy Williams’ struggles, per court documents reportedly obtained by The Hollywood Reporter. Morrissey’s legal team alleged that Williams’ “permanent incapacitation” means that she could not consent to the series. In addition, they accused producers of tricking her into thinking this would be a celebratory and flattering depiction. “She thought we were focusing on the comeback of her career,” Williams’ longtime publicist Shawn Zanotti told NBC News. “Wendy would be mortified if she saw how she was portrayed.”

Per The U.S. Sun‘s report, the networks claim Sabrina Morrissey attempts to eliminate critical views of her “controversial and failed administration.” As for why, they alleged that Morrissey feels embarrassed by what the documentary says about her guardianship. In addition, the networks defended their “honest and unfiltered window” into her life and said that they paid her team much more than what Morrissey claimed.

Not only that, but the networks also pointed to Wendy Williams’ family, indicating that they approved the documentary and also participated in promo interviews for it. An appellate judge denied Sabrina Morrissey the chance to block the doc’s release, and the defendants accused her of focusing on her own reputation. Both sides seek damages and attorney’s fees. At the moment, no one knows how this legal dispute could resolve, or what it would cost Wendy.

Bishop TD Jakes Is Stable Following Health Scare During Sermon

Folks recently shared their well-wishes and shocked sympathies for Bishop TD Jakes, who recently suffered a medical emergency at his church in Dallas, Texas on Sunday (November 24) during a sermon. Now, the church in question, The Potter’s House, has issued a statement on the matter that should hopefully assuage fans’ worries. “During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour-long message. Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. the entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community. Thank you for your understanding and continued prayers.”

Hopefully Bishop T.D. Jakes continues to recover well and is able to return to his calling sooner rather than later. While he’s always been a notable pop culture figure, he really rose in the headlines and Internet gossip circles last year when folks alleged a connection to the Diddy scandal. Apparently, Jakes had been to some parties and indulged in the alleged “freaky” activity that took place at them. It didn’t take long before a response emerged.

Jonathan Majors will seemingly close a very huge and turbulent chapter of his life, as his ex girlfriend Grace Jabbari dropped the federal defamation and assault lawsuit against him on Thursday (November 21), according to AllHipHop. For those unaware, she sued him three months after a New York court found him guilty of assaulting and harassing her in March of 2023. The actor received a domestic violence counseling sentence a month after his former partner filed another lawsuit alleging defamation. She specifically accused him of portraying her as an outright liar and not a survivor, characterizing his claims of innocence after the guilty verdict as purely defamatory.

Furthermore, Grace Jabbari accused Jonathan Majors of defamation given that he “participated in an exclusive interview with ABC News wherein he doubled down on his public attack of Grace, claiming that she is lying about the entire pattern of abuse she has described, as he has ‘never laid [his] hands on a woman,’” per legal documents. Now, however, attorneys on both sides filed a joint notice in the court this past Thursday to announce that they “dismissed” the legal battle “with prejudice.”

This is another piece of good news for Jonathan Majors, as he and Meagan Good also recently announced their engagement. The two proved to be quite the controversial couple not just because of his legal scandal, but also because there were frequent rumors about trouble in paradise. Of course, you can say the same about plenty of celebrity relationships, but this one particularly threw fans for a loop. Nevertheless, it seems like they are happier than ever these days, and we’re sure that this dropped lawsuit should also cause plenty of celebration.

Of course, they talked about their careers and their experiences a lot, as she mentioned a film she worked on in which she played a younger female character involved with an older man. “You like them older, huh?” Sharpe joked, which led to cackles from them both before Keke hit him with the ultimate clap-back: “That’s what Michelle said!” The interviewer and his colleagues started going ballistic, and she seemed quite proud of herself for the quip.

For those unaware, Keke Palmer referred to Shannon Sharpe’s viral and now infamous sex tape scandal that happened on Instagram Live. There are a few different possible interpretations of this, but basically, he accidentally went Live on the social media platform while he was having intimate relations with a woman he referred to as Michelle. They didn’t actually show up on the screen, but you could hear them in the livestream. Some thought it was fake, others thought he was being honest, but pretty much everyone found the Internet discussion that it provoked at least a little funny.

It was a pretty heartening discussion, especially considering how things look right now. During a recent People interview, she spoke on her relationship with Darius Jackson and how things got out of control with social media gossip and allegations in court. Fortunately, they seem like they’re at least in a better place right now, especially regarding their son.
