eBay Announces Expansion of Authenticity Guarantee to Include Streetwear Brands

eBay Sneakers

eBay Authenticity Guarantee has announced its expansion to include streetwear. Starting today, the service is available for all new and used products priced at $200 or more from Aimé Leon Dore, Fear of God, KITH, Supreme, Off-White, Palace, and Stone Island. This adds a sixth category to eBay’s authentication service, which now includes trading cards, footwear, watches, jewelry, and handbags.

All eligible streetwear purchased and sold in the United States will be examined and authenticated by a team of expertly qualified authenticators from eBay employing a thorough physical inspection and cutting-edge technical equipment in the company’s brand-new, cutting-edge facility in New Jersey.

“eBay has pieces from nearly every notable streetwear drop that’s ever happened – whether in 1993 or 2023,” said Garry Thaniel, Global GM of Sneakers and Streetwear at eBay. “We’ve heard loud and clear from our enthusiast community that they want to be able to come to eBay to buy and sell apparel in the same seamless way that they can sneakers. With the launch of Authenticity Guarantee for streetwear, we’re delivering on that ask.”

Shoppers can explore and purchase a variety of thousands of new and used streetwear goods from top brands at eBay.com/streetwear. Each item is marked with an Authenticity Guarantee logo. The service will be expanded by the end of September to include streetwear from popular companies like adidas and Nike and designer labels like Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and others.

Chief Keef Fan Dumpster Dives To Sell His Used Double Cups On eBay

When it comes to hip-hop fanbases, few groups are as die-hard as Chief Keef’s. The Chicago rap pioneer’s influence is still omnipresent, and fans are always waiting for his next musical moves. However, others are more opportunistic and see dollar signs where the MC himself just sees some dirty cups. Moreover, a fan gathered a few of his used double styrofoam cups and put them up for sale on eBay. They must really “Love Sosa,” as many have joked, but the price is no laughing matter. The bid started at $425, and rose all the way to over $10K.

What’s more is that even a video was captured of the snatch, with the seller literally dumpster diving for TikTok (fortunately, there wasn’t a lot of trash in there). Interestingly, this is actually their second attempt at selling the cups on the platform, as eBay took the original listing down, which reached $15K bids. Presumably, the website did not appreciate the drug-related items appearing on their storefront. Still, the new listing states that they’re not related to substances at all. For those who saw the video of Chief Keef pulling up to a dumpster in his Scooby-Doo-themed Lamborghini, they can identify the cap.

Chief Keef Fan Goes The Extra Mile For His Double Cups

Regardless, this is just one of many examples of Sosa fans going hard for him in wild and bizarre contexts. For example, a recent video of a man getting arrested had a pretty funny Easter egg in there for Chief Keef fanatics. As policemen handcuffed him, he boasted about the fact that he had just gotten out of jail on bond, and will happily do it again. “‘But I’m bonding right out, I ain’t broke,’” he rapped during the incident, which are lyrics from his classic hit “Earned It.” “‘N***as ain’t getting no money, it ain’t a joke.’” On the other hand, even stars like Gervonta Davis give the “Racks Stuffed Inna Couch” MC his flowers.

Meanwhile, other more famous fans of the 27-year-old sometimes reach him, and other times fail to do so. Adin Ross recently tried to get him to play Minecraft with him to no avail. He’s more elusive than you’d think, hence why fans would dumpster dive for his belongings. For the latest news and updates on Chief Keef, come back to HNHH.

Latto’s Manager Jokes About Selling Her Panties On Tour

They tried to troll her over her underwear, but Latto almost turned it into a profitable venture. The internet doesn’t let entertainers breathe easy when it comes to posting to social media. Latto knows all too well about being the target of trolls who attempt to turn an innocent post into a viral moment. After someone recently tried to clown her for wearing the same pair of leopard print panties twice, the rapper decided to clap back.

“Oh no, it’s the panty police,” she tweeted. Later, Latto decided to auction off her panties on eBay. “Latto’s everyday cheetah print panties. Used. As seen on Latto multiple times,” the listing stated. The auction kicked off at 99 cents, and bids increased to almost $100K before the platform shut things down. According to eBay, the listing violated their hygiene policy.

However, the idea itself wasn’t lost on Latto’s manager, Cortez Bryant. A paparazzo caught up with Bryant as he made his way through an airport. Of course, they couldn’t help but ask him about Latto’s interrupted yet lucrative idea of selling her underwear. It’s something that Bryant laughed about considering for tour.

“Ay man, we got a song coming out called ‘Lottery,’ man,” said Bryant. “So, you hit the jackpot with something like that. I didn’t expect it to go to $95,000. We might have to put that, sell that as a piece of merchandise or something.”

Bryant doubled down that if people are so concerned about what the 777 hitmaker is wearing, then they can buy it for themselves as merchandise. “Panties at shows! First time ever in history of merchandise, ever,” he said. The manager did, however, make sure to say that this idea came from the cameraperson, not him.

It was noted that Latto made the listing for fun, and the intention wasn’t to actually make any money. According to Bryant, they never expected the eBay listing to blow up the way it did, and they were just as surprised by the feedback as the public was. Yet, you never know what kind of business opportunity lurks around the corner when someone offers to spend nearly $100K on your used underwear.

Latto’s Used Panties Listing Removed By eBay For Violating Their Policies

One thing about Latto, she will clap back if you try her.

A recent tweet went viral of a user posting side-by-side photos of Latto rocking the same cheetah print panties in different outlets. The caption read, “Can’t afford new panties?”

While the humor was there initially, Latto quoted the tweet by commenting, “Oh no, it’s the panty police.” The post has been retweeted nearly 8K times, with 139K likes.

The laughs continued as Latto decided to take it a step further. Sharing to her 9.8 million followers on Instagram, Latto posted a photo to Story with five different pairs of cheetah underwear, stating, “I’m gonna wear a pair today and sell em tomorrow.”

The next day, Latto did precisely that. The 24-year-old decided to sell the legendary cheetah panties online on eBay, beginning the auction at a mere 99 cents. Her caption reads, “Auction live on eBay since I can’t wear them twice,” as she directed her fans to the link in her bio.

Sadly, eBay came in hot to stop the party, stating that used and worn underwear directly violates their “used clothing policy,” deactivating Latto’s post altogether. The company uses AI technology and trained investigators to ensure their policies are upheld.

The eBay listing read: “Latto’s everyday cheetah print panties. Used. As seen on Latto multiple times.”

With Latto’s devout fanbase, it was no surprise when hundreds of thousands of dollars were put up. Within a few hours since Latto posted, the auction peaked at $95,650, with over 100 bids from her fans partaking in fun. Sadly, Latto won’t sell her panties on the platform soon.

eBay’s customer service page, @askeBay, responded to Lotto’s tweet of the auction stating, “Used underwear is not allowed on site, please report any listings you see in breach of policy.”

Before the listing, Latto even went as far as giving fans a peek into her underwear drawer. She states, “In light of my panty discrepancy yesterday, I’ve decided to give you guys an inside look on my panty drawer. These are all my Target panties that caused such a discrepancy yesterday. $5 at Target, here’s the cheetah stash.”

Either way, we’re sure Latto is getting kicked out of how much fans were willing to pay for her cheap panties!

Latto Violated Health & Hygiene Policies With Used Panties Listing, eBay Says

Latto nearly made $100K in a matter of hours before eBay discovered she violated health and hygiene policies.

After a troll commented on her choice of underwear, she clapped back by putting the panties for sale. In a matter of hours, the bids leaped to $95,650. However, before Latto could cash out on the opportunity, eBay removed the listing from its website.

According to TMZ, eBay took down Latto’s panties from the auction block due to health violations. Despite the clear demand on the market, eBay explained they aren’t in the business of selling used undergarments. They explained Latto’s listing breached their “used clothing” policy.

eBay explained they discovered the violation through AI technology, as well as health investigators. This is a common practice that allows them to uphold a high standard for used clothing.

The entire debacle began when the “Big Energy” rapper shared photos of herself, prompting someone on Twitter to point out that she’s apparently worn the same underwear in a previous photo. After ensuring fans that she has a stash of clean underwear on deck, she put the listing up for under a dollar.

Latto has yet to respond to eBay’s decision to pull her listing. However, it was a solid marketing plan ahead of her next single. Shortly after eBay pulled her panties from their platform, she took to Instagram to tease a brand new single.

Latto’s Used Panties Are Selling For Nearly $100,000

Over the weekend, Latto got called out for wearing similar cheetah-print panties in two separate photos. However, the 777 rapper spat this claim back at the Internet troll last night after selling a used pair on eBay.

“Can’t afford new panties?” a fan wrote with side-by-side photos of Latto. The rapper quickly hit back, sarcastically writing, “Oh no, it’s the panty police.”

The response went viral and Latto later gave fans a tour of her underwear drawer. However, she leveled up her response when she listed a used pair of panties on eBay at 99 cents. “Latto’s everyday cheetah print panties. Used. As seen on Latto multiple times,” the description read.

Immediately, the number began to skyrocket from 99 cents to nearly reaching $100,000. However, eBay later removed the listing since it violated their terms.

Despite eBay blocking the bag, fans immediately praised Latto for flipping the situation into a positive.

One fan wrote, “The way she flipped and reversed the whole scenario. I have no choice but to Stan.”

Besides her hilarious dispute with Internet trolls, Billboard will honor the Clay County rapper at the 2023 Billboard Women In Music Awards. She will receive the Powerhouse Award. Billboard previously honored this award to Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, and Doja Cat.

Ebay x Nike SB Dunk Low “Sandy” Release Date Revealed

One of the collaborations that fans have been waiting on this year is the Ebay x Nike SB Dunk Low. This is a shoe that is meant to pay homage to the old collaboration from 2003. Of course, this was an incredibly limited offering at the time, with some astronomical prices attached to it.

Although, it is important to note that this latest iteration of the collab is meant to pay homage to Sandy Bodecker. Bodecker is the person responsible for the Nike SB Dunk Low, and it only makes sense for Nike to honor them. Unfortunately, Bodecker passed away from cancer back in 2018.
