Here Is The Main Ingredient In Drake’s Favorite Drink

Drake often alludes to liquor and spirit brands in his music. On his 2021 single “Girls Want Girls,” he parties in the club with Casamigos. He proudly carries Hennesy in his hand on his 2016 single, “One Dance.” But one particular beverage stands out as the rapper’s favorite.

In a recent interview shared to TikTok, Drake revealed that his favorite drink is Onda, a seltzer with a tequila base.

Drake is often seen in clubs and at parties with the drink in hand. While the drink comes in a can, Drake often pours it over ice, into a spherical glass.

“Everybody always sees me with this drink and they ask me what it is and they ask me for one,” said Drake in the TikTok clip. “It’s an Onda; a tequila spritz-esque cocktail, passion fruit flavor by the way.”

Onda Tequila Seltzer was founded in July of 2020 by Noah Gray, the Chief Executive Officer; Max Dworin, Chief Operating Officer; Kelli Adams, Chief Creative Officer; and Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell, Chief Brand Officer.

In the clip, Drake shouts out the fellow Canadian, and reiterates his love for the drink.

“Shout out to my brother Matt, shout out to Shay — of course, Shay Mitchell — who came up with this product,” said Drake. “And now I drink it every day. I’m probably on my millionth glass.”

Drake Receives Key To The City Of Memphis

“Wait, isn’t he from Canada,” fans exclaimed when they saw that Drake received the key to the city of Memphis. Specifically, he got the key to Shelby County, where Memphis is located in Tennessee, from Chairman Mickell Lowry. Of course, other people had more fond reactions to this news, expressing their happiness at the clip of the meeting which recently surfaced online. Regardless, those were flooded by others saying that the Toronto rapper doesn’t even deserve the honor despite how some of his extensive catalog represents the city’s impactful musical history. Even Lil Yachty chimed in with a comment on DJ Akademiks’ post on the matter, laughing at Drizzy’s shirt that reads “The Famous Cousin.”

On that note of music, maybe Drake will continue to honor Memphis on his next album, For All The Dogs. For those unaware (as hard as that is), he announced the new project as part of his new poetry book with Kenza Samir, Titles Ruin Everything. Furthermore, he teased this for a while up until the book’s release, but the album announcement came out of nowhere. Still, considering that he dropped two projects last year and drops project pretty much every year, it was only a matter of time before he revealed his next move.

In addition, there are a couple of new Drake tracks to enjoy on Young Thug’s latest album, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. Namely, these are the cuts “Parade on Cleveland” and “Oh U Went.” As such, there’s plenty to celebrate these days when it comes to the 6 God’s career, and this key to Memphis, however questionable, just keeps speaking to that influence. There was also his new single “Search & Rescue,” which ruffled some feathers but was nonetheless a hot topic of conversation and an addition to fans’ rotation.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old is also just as prone to look back on his storied success. Recently, he reposted the message he delivered Honestly, Nevermind with a year ago, honoring the late and great Virgil Abloh and speaking on critics and loyalty. Whether For All The Dogs goes into similar sonic and thematic territory is an exciting question for the weeks ahead. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, come back to HNHH.

Drake Has Hilarious Interaction With Someone’s Mom At Dinner

Drake just appeared in a hilarious Instagram video interacting with someone’s mom at a dinner table. Moreover, it wasn’t just one woman, but seemingly a group of them who ate together and then realized the 6 God was close by. In the clip, the Canadian superstar clearly knew that the table noticed him, and said “Wassup girl?” as he walked by. Then, he exclaimed as the table hyped him up right back, moving his hands and sticking his tongue out. Furthermore, the person who posted said video (and whose mom Drake addressed) captioned their IG Story post with, “Did Drake just say ‘wasss up girlie’ to my mom?” Also, it’s not the only fan interaction that he had this week, or the first to be caught on video.

Moreover, maybe a lot of people will clown the rapper for his attitude in the clip, but he could’ve acted like a lot of other celebrities and just ignored the people fawning over him. At the very least, it’s quite the comical interaction and might even become a meme format with how popular he is. After all, his calls of “21, can you do somethin’ for me?” on the song “Rich Flex” became a hilarious moment online, which he addressed shortly after Her Loss‘s release.

Drake Hilariously Greets An Instagrammer’s Mom During Dinner

“I understand after all these years that, I feel like I have a polarizing presence,” he remarked during a stream. “I’m almost a character in people’s movies and therefore, there’s a running dialogue. There’s jokes. You’re either the villain to some people or hero to some people. It just comes with the territory.

“But ultimately, I’ve just found a way,” the 36-year-old continued. “I’ve always been able to laugh at myself, but I really do feel now that I mentally am able to separate the two. So I just want to stay in that zone, that’s kinda my resolution. I feel really good right now.” With that in mind, hopefully the superstar can continue to take himself not too seriously and keep making the art he wants to make. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news, updates, and potentially meme-worthy moments from Drake.

Drake Links With 50 Cent In Miami

The rap realms of OVO and G-Unit may not have crossed over on a track yet, but at least its two leaders have a lot of respect for one another. Moreover, Drake and 50 Cent just linked up at a Miami club where the latter performed on Saturday night (March 25). Furthermore, this link-up comes after the 6 God recently previewed new music on his Instagram, which has fans ready for yet another drop soon. However, a lot of people aren’t actually very happy with this crossover at all. In fact, many are outraged because the Canadian superstar canceled his headlining performance at Lollapalooza Brazil in São Paulo on Sunday night (March 27), citing issues with production and sound.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Drake is without members of his sound and production team, essential to the realization of the Lollapalooza show in Sao Paulo,” a statement on the festival’s official Instagram post read. “Drake was excited to perform for his fans in Brazil,” the statement added. “Unfortunately, this is beyond his control. Apologies.” What’s more is that this isn’t the first time that Drake’s recent Lollapalooza appearances in Latin America caused an uproar. Fans expressed disappointment and anger over his Lolla Argentina set, which while amazing during its run, was also short, late, and canceled its livestream just minutes before starting.

50 Cent & Drake In Miami

Still, a lot of fans already let that go, and now hyper-focused on the prospect of new music from Drake. Similarly, 50 fans eagerly await his next album, as he spoke on working with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and more. Not only that, but the hip-hop world got even more excited when he revealed he’s guesting on Nas and Hit-Boy’s King’s Disease IV.

Meanwhile, maybe Drake will never address his set issues with various Lollapalooza festivals in Latin America. Regardless, he’s the kind of artist that draws eyes for anything and everything he does, whether negative or positive. With that in mind, class actions lawsuits against Ticketmaster for overpriced Drake tickets might paint that tour in a negative light for some time. Still, fans expect a great set of shows regardless. For the latest on Drake and 50 Cent, stick around on HNHH.

Drake Says Lil Wayne Thought His Email Address Was His Rap Name

If you’re a talented and respected enough MC, you can get way with having any rap name. However, few people (if any) have pulled off having an “@” symbol in there, but even the best rappers might respect it. Drake recently revealed that Lil Wayne originally thought his email address was his rap name, seeing as that was their only form of communication. Moreover, on their 2008 collaboration “Ransom,” the New Orleans legend referred to his Canadian protegé as “Drizzy Drake Rogers.” In fact, Rogers is the name of one of Canada’s top Internet providers, and Wayne thought that was Drizzy’s last name.

“And I just sold a lot of property to a buyer,” the “A Milli” spitter raps on the track. “And I think his name was kinda like “Drake Drizzy Rogers.” Furthermore, Drake revealed to Lil Yachty during their recent interview that he couldn’t bring himself to correct his idol at the time. After all, they just sent each other songs via email and they had no other form of communication at the time. Of course, Wayne’s mistake didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. They went on to produce more iconic collaborations and keep propelling each other’s careers.

Drake Speaks On Lil Wayne Repping His Email

For example, their mutual respect and inspiration is well-documented based on their own expressions. “It was easy for me,” Tunechi said of supporting Drake from the beginning. “It was obvious. I saw what he could be and would be. It was easy for me to keep motivating him and letting him know what it is. You have to see it to believe it. It was very simple. Doing a song with me. It was just that simple. Him knowing ‘I can go blow for blow with you on a joint’ — that was his motivation. That’s his chip.”

Meanwhile, the 6 God had some kind words for his mentor when he presented him with the Global Impact Award at a Recording Academy ceremony. “Lil Wayne…I love you so much,” he expressed. “I know I probably get annoying with saying how much you mean to me and my family, but I think I speak on behalf of everybody when I say that our careers, our cadences, our melodies, maybe our face tats or our outfits or our decisions in general would not have been the same without your natural gift to just be yourself.” Regardless of the name confusion, come back to HNHH for the latest on Lil Wayne and Drake.

NYPD Release Their Footage From Drake’s Apollo Concert

The New York Police Department (NYPD) just released footage they took of Drake’s shows at the Apollo Theater. Moreover, the footage centers of the security, organization, and general workflow behind the show. While hundreds were in awe of one of the 6 God’s first performances in a while, the efforts of hundreds behind-the-scenes can’t be forgotten.

Furthermore, the video opens with a shot of the Apollo Theater from the outside, panning out of a police officer’s shirt with “NYPD Community Affairs” on the back. Throughout the first few clips, you can hear fans screaming and clapping for the OVO kingpin. Also, they include a time-lapse of police arriving, setting up barricades, and welcoming concert-goers into the venue.

Then, the whole video reverses and the timeline rewinds to a couple of days before the two scheduled shows sponsored by SiriusXM. Later, the video shows a room full of police as an officer gives instructions on the events.

“All right, everybody, so you know what we got coming up,” the officer began. “We got two nights of Drake, one of the most well-known artists in the world. It’s going to bring out a lot of people and a lot of talents. The people are coming and going for this concert, and the artists expect to be safe. So, the byline is we’re going to do what we do best: we’re going to keep people safe.

“When you go out there, make sure you take your post,” he continued. “Make sure you be vigilant, but also be community-friendly and make sure people know how to get where they’re going safely and get out of there safely. This is our chance to shine as well as the artist, right? They in Harlem, they in the 28th Precinct, and this is what we do, right? So let’s have a good night, let’s have a safe night, and again, if anybody need anything, let me know.

“This is why people feel comfortable coming to New York City for major events,” the video concludes. “Because they have confidence in you. Now let’s get ready for the next one.”

Throughout the video, you can hear Marvin Gaye’s classic “Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler).” Also, the video shows clips of the show, people coming in, police officers assisting civilians, and generally keeping the peace.

Still, what did you think of the NYPD’s footage from Drake’s shows at the Apollo Theater? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments and check out the promotional piece for yourself down below. Drake Pens Message On Instagram About Telling Truths

Drake recently shared a message on his Instagram story about how 2023’s the year for his truths. Moreover, he posted it in classic Drake fashion: the fancy Instagram font, a black screen, and an oddly cryptic message. While people might assume they’re about his fame, artistry, relationships, or advice, Drizzy has… a different idea, apparently.

“Gonna start using 2023 to tell you my truths,” the “Nice For What” MC began. “I have seen more staff and private bathrooms than anybody ever… whenever you are waiting in line to use the bathroom just know there’s an amazing clean private room that they refuse to show you.”

Now, your guess is as good as mine as to what that could mean. Moreover, is he literally talking about the fancy private bathroom, or is he practicing his bars for an upcoming single? Is the fancy private bathroom all the success they don’t want you to have?

Jokes aside, Drake’s cryptic message was laughed at but also respected, even envied by some. “Is dis rich people problems ? cuz if so i want em,” one user wrote. “[Too] rich for me to understand” another wrote, with a particularly skeptical fan writing “This is not about bathrooms.”

Still, the 6 God does have a lot of “truths” to talk about, whether it’s his success or his controversies. Most recently, he debuted his “Jumbotron S**t Poppin” video with $3.3 millions worth of Pharrell’s jewelry. While his commercial success in hip-hop and pop is practically undefeated, his cultural impact and status shouldn’t be questioned either.

However, his recent collab album with 21 Savage, Her Loss, got him as many accolades as it did criticism. Subliminal bars aimed at Megan Thee Stallion shook the rap world for some time, dividing many fans. Since then, much of that discussion had died down. Still there’s no denying that Drake has his fair share of things to address. Of course, he doesn’t need to, but I guess it’s up to him to decide what he’ll say this year.

What do you think of Drake’s odd Instagram message and his commitments to his “truths”? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for the latest on the genre’s top dogs.
