Apparently Drake is feeling quite nostalgic these days, because he just took to Instagram with a throwback post on Sunday (December 10). Moreover, it features pictures of him from presumably over ten years ago, whether it’s with drinks, family at a meal, what looks like a record company or label office, or with his friends and partners. It’s always wild to look back at Drizzy’s earlier phases, as you can tell how much fashion has changed and you’re reminded that this wasn’t the biggest star in the world at one point. Recently, he also shared a clip of himself singing along to one of his old songs, so maybe he’s just in a reminiscent mood.
“I’m a nice guy but deep down a ice cold Toronto soul in a mink coat… but if you knew me back then you should already know,” Drake’s latest Instagram throwback post’s caption read. “ATF Precise Ent. Heartfelt Music Group Get Faded.” In addition to looking back on the past, the Toronto superstar is also making sure to spend some quality time with fans whenever he gets the chance. While on vacation, he bought some fans a round of shots, which they surely appreciated a lot.
Meanwhile, Drake recently appeared as a featured guest on “Needle,” one of many highlights off of the new album Pink Friday 2. Considering how important Young Money’s come-up was and how much they helped each other along the way, we love to see him and Nicki Minaj remain on good terms and supporting each other. We just wish that Aubrey Graham would’ve also included Queen Barb on his latest record, For All The Dogs, but alas, we were unlucky. Plenty of fans took this further and got straight-up mad, but you can’t always get what you want.

Sexyy Red is coming out with a deluxe version of her 2023 album Hood Hottest Princess very soon, and fans couldn’t be more ready. Moreover, this goes for both people that just love her music and people that actually might get a chance to work with her much more often in the future. For example, Nicki Minaj and Drake recently cosigned the St. Louis MC’s next career move, albeit in small but still meaningful ways. The Trinidadian rapper simply tweeted “SEXY!!!” in response to this announcement, whereas the Toronto native liked Red’s post on Instagram concerning the project’s expansion.
Furthermore, in her caption, Sexyy Red actually hinted at many other artists being on this deluxe version. With another collab on the way, this time with Nardo Wick, it’s very possible that she will stack this tracklist with plenty of big names and moments. Of course, given this subtle but nonetheless excited response from Nicki Minaj and Drake, those are probably the two biggest names tat they want to make an appearance here. After all, when it comes to sheer star power and elevating a song to another level, few are as good and consistent with that as these Young Money superstars.
Regardless, we’re sure that the “SkeeYee” hitmaker will be able to cook up bangers on her own with ease. In this new teaser for the Hood Hottest Princess deluxe, she raps about wanting to “f**k [her] baby dad,” an unmistakeable and NSFW way of addressing her pregnancy. That hasn’t stopped Sexyy Red from continuing her tour across the U.S., which is quite commendable since a baby is literally forming inside her. The question, then, is whether this extended edition will come out during or after this trek or if there will be new shows to celebrate.
Meanwhile, it seems like the 25-year-old is just as excited for Nicki’s upcoming album, Pink Friday 2. Fans hope that she will be on the project, especially after she hinted at grabbing one of Minaj’s scrapped tracks for herself. Drake is one of the most entertaining people around. As one of the biggest acts in music, it’s inevitable that people, whether fans or not, want to know his every move. He gives people what they want whenever he drops new music. He’s not the most active person on social media platforms except for Instagram. There, he provides fans with a glimpse into his otherwise private life, oftentimes with a bit of humor, too.
As of mid-April, Drake has 135 million Instagram followers. His posts continue to rack up millions of likes with his famous peers hitting the comments along the hundreds of other fans. Champagne Papi, as he’s known on the ‘Gram, launched his page around the Take Care era. Below, we’ve dived into some of his best posts.
In one of his first posts on Instagram, Drake shares a photo of his grandma. He has his laptop to her ear as she is listening to the song she is featured on, “Look What You’ve Done” off of his sophomore album, Take Care. In the song, Drake includes a voicemail he left for him. “Hearing Look What You’ve Done for the 1st time,” Champagne Papi captioned the post. Similar to his music, the Young Money artist doesn’t shy away from sharing moments from his personal life on social media. In this post, you can see that Drake is playing the song for her on YouTube.
The 2016 NBA All-Star weekend was special for a few reasons. This was the first time the All-Star game was held in Toronto. It was also the final All-Star game for NBA legend Kobe Bryant. With Drake being the ambassador for the Toronto Raptors and the self-proclaimed “6 God,” it was only right for him to be the coach of the NBA Celebrity All-Star game. At the All-Star game, Drizzy was front row to see Kobe’s 18th and final All-Star game. Before the game, he introduced the starters from both conferences. This is where we see his custom All-Star jacket with a photo of Kobe on the back. In this post, Drake is watching two greats go at it, Kobe and LeBron.
On the opening night of All-Star weekend, he led Team Canada to a victory over Coach Kevin Hart and Team USA. On Saturday night, Drake was front row to witness one of the greatest Slam Dunk contests of all time. He sat next to legendary Director Spike Lee as they watched Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon battle for the trophy. Zach Lavine even came out to Drake’s hit song, “Back to Back”.

What Drake and 21 Savage did with Her Loss is still being talked about. They still haven’t even gone on tour yet. The album received positive reception, but the promo run was just as entertaining as the music.
Honestly, they had all of us fooled as people hit the internet to search for the duo’s Tiny Desk concert, Howard Stern interview, Saturday Night Live performance, and COLORS performance. Unfortunately, this was just a brilliant marketing tool as none of these were real. Once again, Drake’s creativity flourished in one of the most exciting rollouts of the year.
In the fake Howard Stern interview, Drake dishes on the porn he is watching and his views on marriage. He even gets Michael B. Jordan to introduce him and 21 Savage on the fake SNL performance. As each of the promo videos racked up millions of views, it’s safe to say that people really wish these were authentic. A Drake and 21 Savage Tiny Desk concert might actually need to happen.
Many people wanted Drake and Rihanna to work out, Drake included. He has never been shy to show his love to the Barbados singer anywhere. Prior to this post, Drake presented Rihanna with the 2016 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Before giving her the award, the “Work” rapper praised her in a heartfelt speech that certainly hasn’t aged as well as he hoped. After accepting the award, Rihanna and Drizzy left the stage and hit the afterparty together. To caption this post, Drake continues to uplift the “Umbrella” singer in celebration of the VMA honor. Lately, there have been a debate surrounding where Scorpion stands in Drake’s discography. The Shots Taken Podcast named Scorpion his least impressive album. Shortly after, Champagne Papi stepped into the comments to debunk that statement. “Gods Plan, In My Feelings, Nice For What, Nonstop, Jaded, Is There More, Sandra’s Rose, That’s How You Feel, Emotionless….slapppppps on [Scorpio emoji].” He isn’t wrong and he even backed this up in a post in 2018. Drake shared the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 upon the release of Scorpion and he claimed seven out of the ten spots. There’s no way you can say that Scorpion is his worst album.
Drake never fails to show love to the people dear to his heart. Whether it be his grandma, his Toronto friends, his industry friends, or his dad, the 6 God makes a concerted effort to celebrate those that he loves. One person that you can see on his Instagram is his mother, Sandra Graham. In this photo, Drizzy is throwing up the 6 with his mother draped around him throwing up the Houston sign.
Social media influencer Olivia Song claimed that Drake is coming after her after she believes to have exposed him as part of the Illuminati. Such a bizarre claim shocked many on social media, not for her alleged exposure, but for the delusional prospect of it. Still, she shared a video on TikTok explaining how the Canadian superstar is “murderous” and will try to get her for it. In fact, she was responding to a suggestive comment from another user. “Drake is lowkey freaking out, they telling on themselves,” they wrote. “His subliminals on his [stories] the last few days have been directed to her. It’s wild.”
“I’m not dealing with a Certified Lover Boy,” she began. “I’m dealing with a certified narcissist, sociopathic, murderous, homosexual psychopath. I gotta go back to the drawing board on this, because I didn’t know he was capable of this [laughs]. Be careful what you wish for. Remember before all of this- if you followed me- I was like, ‘I wanna play games with the worst kind of men.’ Because I thought I was a sick enough b***h. Right now, I am in the middle of a game with the worst man. The worst man on the planet. Be careful what you wish for.”
Of course, Song is known to be in a pretty deep conspiracy hole much of the time, so some fans weren’t surprised. However, for those who previously didn’t know of Olivia Song, this might sound all the more ridiculous. Still, it’s not the only Drizzy conspiracy floating around the Internet. Recently, the XXXTENTACION murder trial garnered more media attention after defense attorneys tried to pin the blame on Drake. These accusations come after years of fan theories tying pictures, bars, statements, and social media posts together.
Rather than confirm these rumors, further investigation separated the “Headlines” MC from the case. While defense attorneys continued trying to get Drake for a deposition, the judge shut these connections down. After all, there’s little to no evidence legitimately connecting the threads. As one of the biggest artists on the planet, it’s no wonder conspiracies are linked to him from every corner. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news (weird or otherwise) on Drake.

Moreover, he posted it in classic Drake fashion: the fancy Instagram font, a black screen, and an oddly cryptic message. While people might assume they’re about his fame, artistry, relationships, or advice, Drizzy has… a different idea, apparently.

“Gonna start using 2023 to tell you my truths,” the “Nice For What” MC began. “I have seen more staff and private bathrooms than anybody ever… whenever you are waiting in line to use the bathroom just know there’s an amazing clean private room that they refuse to show you.”
Now, your guess is as good as mine as to what that could mean. Moreover, is he literally talking about the fancy private bathroom, or is he practicing his bars for an upcoming single? Is the fancy private bathroom all the success they don’t want you to have?
Jokes aside, Drake’s cryptic message was laughed at but also respected, even envied by some. “Is dis rich people problems ? cuz if so i want em,” one user wrote. “[Too] rich for me to understand” another wrote, with a particularly skeptical fan writing “This is not about bathrooms.”
Still, the 6 God does have a lot of “truths” to talk about, whether it’s his success or his controversies. Most recently, he debuted his “Jumbotron S**t Poppin” video with $3.3 millions worth of Pharrell’s jewelry. While his commercial success in hip-hop and pop is practically undefeated, his cultural impact and status shouldn’t be questioned either.
However, his recent collab album with 21 Savage, Her Loss, got him as many accolades as it did criticism. Subliminal bars aimed at Megan Thee Stallion shook the rap world for some time, dividing many fans. Since then, much of that discussion had died down. Still there’s no denying that Drake has his fair share of things to address. Of course, he doesn’t need to, but I guess it’s up to him to decide what he’ll say this year.
