Doja Cat’s New Single ‘Attention’ Is Supposedly Slated To Drop This Week, According To A Leaked Pre-Save Announcement

First, SZA’s unreleased “Calling My Phone” verse was leaked to social media. Then, a provocative scrapped guest verse from Lil Durk was posted online. Now Doja Cat has also been impacted by a music leak.

As the “Vegas” musician works out the final touches on her forthcoming album, fans were excited at news that her new single, titled “Attention,” would be uploaded to streaming platforms on Friday. In the marketing campaign, listeners were urged to pre-save the track on either Spotify or Apple Music to be notified when the song went live.

However, that announcement was accidentally released prematurely. Shortly after the link went live, the webpage began to gain traction. The link was quickly deactivated. When the URL is entered into any internet browser, an error message appears on the screen: “We’re sorry, but this page no longer exists.”

Doja Cat has shared numerous updates regarding the upcoming album’s direction, including the title, the sound, the tracklist, and more. But over time, she has walked back a lot of her public comments. At one point, the project was tentatively titled Hellmouth. Doja Cat herself has even leaked parts of the album via snippets of different tracks during a live stream.

Is Doja Cat Dating J.Cyrus?

Doja Cat’s upcoming album might’ve been titled Hellmouth, but social media is wishing hellfire and brimstone on her rumored new relationship with J.Cyrus. Earlier today (June 9), TMZ shared photos of the “Say So” rapper’s Los Cabos, Mexico vacation. In the sun-kissed images, the entertainer is seen kissing the former Vine star. So, is Doja Cat dating J.Cyrus?

Neither Doja Cat nor J.Cyrus has shared a direct statement regarding the rumors. The comedian may have subtly addressed the internet’s uproar, though: Cyrus took to his Instagram Story to upload a photo of a clown with the caption, “The Internet isn’t real,” between vacation photos.

Instead of addressing the rumors, the musician uploaded a video to her Instagram profile, seemingly promoting her forthcoming album.

Fans of Doja Cat are urging her to cut her losses now and walk away from the relationship due to J.Cyrus’ past controversy.

In the past, Doja Cat has spoken candidly about her battles with depression due to the stresses she has faced as a public figure. The pushback from this rumored romance could cause the singer to spiral if fans continue to criticize her online. Supporters of the Grammy Award winner hope this doesn’t become another romantic saga similar to Taylor Swift and Matty Healy.

Who Is J.Cyrus? Meet Doja Cat’s Rumored New Boo

Doja Cat has been having fun leaking parts of her forthcoming album with fans online. But she couldn’t have been prepared for paparazzi exposing her supposed relationship with J.Cyrus (real name Jeffrey Cyrus) online. Welp, it’s too late for that now that the cat is out of the bag. Images of the “Vegas” rapper and Cyrus enjoying a lover’s dip on vacation inadvertently dug up things from her rumored boo’s past.

So, who is J.Cyrus, exactly? The New Orleans, Louisiana native first found success on the now-defunct social media app Vine. Occasionally, he will upload different comedic skits on his official YouTube channel and across his Instagram page.

Since then, he’s dappled in several different sectors of the entertainment business, including music. His most popular songs are the 2018 track “Slowly Falling” and the 2015 single “Sank Ship” featuring The Classmatez. After battling addiction, Cyrus sought treatment and used his music to encourage others to do the same.

As a creative person with a unique sense of humor, it seems that Doja Cat has found the perfect partner. However, J.Cyrus’ past racially insensitive tweets resurfaced. Now fans of the rapper are urging her to call things off before things get too serious. View his past tweets and fans’ reactions to their alleged coupling below.

Doja Cat Rocks Bright, Barely There Bikini For PDA-Filled Yacht Date With J. Cyrus

Regarding her love life, Doja Cat is one of few celebrities who have managed to keep the juicy details private. Her only public-ish romance was with Johnny Utah, though she eventually confirmed in an Instagram Live session that they went their separate ways a few years ago. Following that, she was linked to Bree Runway after flirtatious posts from both singers got the internet talking. However, that all seems to have been in good fun. She was linked to another artist, Joji, in early 2022. At the time, fans speculated that he appeared in another Live from the rap diva. Regardless, the pair never confirmed anything, and we haven’t seen them together since.

As Pure Wow notes, Doja told Ebro Darden in a past interview that she has no intentions of sharing her relationships with the world until she’s married. Unfortunately for the Californian, her latest date was caught on camera by the paparazzi, and they saw the “Woman” songstress seriously enjoying herself on a yacht with up-and-coming artist, J. Cyrus. After going under the knife earlier this year, Doja was looking more confident than ever in her “new” body. As previously revealed on Twitter, she underwent a breast augmentation and liposuction.

Nicki Minaj Passes Doja Cat For Most Spotify Listeners Among Female Rappers

Nicki Minaj has had a busy year so far popping up on a number of songs and remixes. Her prolific output has resulted in her reclaiming a title she’s held at various points in her career before. Of course, we’re talking about the female rapper with the most monthly listeners on Spotify. Fans were quick to notice when Minaj reached 51 million monthly listeners, passing Doja Cat who’s also held the title extensively. Doja has had a pretty quiet year so far musically, joining SZA for a remix of her hit song “Kill Bill” as her only official release so far.

Nicki Minaj on the other hand has been far more active. She lead off the year with her own song “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” It has wrapped up over 65 million plays since its March release and recently got an accompanying music video. She’s joined a trio of singles as a featured artist including “Alone” with Kim Petras. Moreover, she had “WTF” with Youngboy Never Broke Again. Not to mention, just this week “Pound Town 2” alongside Sexyy Red and Tay Keith. However, Nicki’s biggest moment of the year so far came when she joined Ice Spice on the remix of “Princess Diana” in April.

Nicki Minaj Reclaims Her Throne

That remix of “Princess Diana” was in the news again recently when superstar DJ Skrillex debuted a remix of the track during a live performance. Fans gave mixed reactions to his take on the song. But in a post to her Instagram Nicki herself cosigned the remix, saying “#PrincessDiana being remixed by @skrillex is crazyyyyy.”

Both “Alone” and “Princess Diana” have come with a number of remixes. They also got alternate versions that have helped the songs generate more streams and attention. As a result Nicki Minaj currently ranks as the #39th most streamed artist in the world on Spotify. While Nicki hasn’t confirmed any more forthcoming music yet, if she keeps up her current pace it won’t be long before fans hear new songs from her again. Central Cee & Dave’s Highly Anticipated Single “Sprinter” Is Here

With June finally here, we’re receiving a number of excellent records to soundtrack summer 2023. Last year, Central Cee dominated the year with the release of his viral single, “Doja.” Although a project hasn’t arrived since, the leaks and singles he’s unveiled since then have indicated that he has something up his sleeve. Fortunately, he’s back with new heat this summer and tapping Dave for the ride. Together, the rappers slid through with the release of “Sprinter.”

When two young artists develop wealth after years of grinding, it comes with much celebration and stress. However, on “Sprinter,” Dave and Central Cee tackle a soft string-laden production that boasts a calmingly luxe feeling. However, the drill-centric percussion brings out a grimey feel that contrasts their clean flows. Dave, under his moniker SantaN, has co-production credits on the song, along with TR, Jo Caleb, Jim Legxacy, Jonny Leslie and Kyle Evans.

Central Cee & Dave Team Up

Dave and Central Cee remark on their rags-to-riches tale and the problems that come along with it. Cee kicks things off as he reflects on his new wealth. “We ain’t got generational wealth/ It’s only a year that I’ve had these millions,” he raps. “I went from the Toyota Yaris to Urus, they had their chance but blew it.” Cee and Dave trade bars on the hook and subsequent verses, showcasing their impeccable chemistry with one another. It’s a hit record that’s bound to have summer 2023 on lock.

The two rappers built anticipation for the record back in March when Central Cee shared a snippet on Instagram. However, in recent days, the two began to tease fans when they were spotted filming the music video in Monaco and later, attending the 2023 F1 Monaco Grand Prix together. “Sprinter” marks the second time they appeared together on the same track following AJ Tracey’s “Spirit Bomb” remix in 2016. However, Dave boasted production credits on Central Cee’s “End Of The Beginning,” the outro to 23. Check out their new collab above.

Doja Cat Blames Her ADHD For Constantly Changing Her Album Title: ‘I’m Good At Doing Things Last Minute’

Doja Cat has said her new record will be influenced by rave music, then that it’d be R&B, then predominantly rap. Similarly, she’s continued to backpedal on album titles. It started with Hellmouth, then became Moist Holes, and then First Of All.

At the Patrón El Cielo launch party in New York City, the “Woman” singer discussed her new album more. Insider asked her how she picks an album title, and she predictably answered, “Good God. I don’t know.”

She elaborated, “I put my ADHD kind of on display — by accident, I guess,” she said. “I thought that Hellmouth was the name of the album, but then it wasn’t. But I’m good at doing things last minute. So I’ve been firing off random stuff and reading comments and seeing how people receive it and then, you know, saying ‘no’ a lot. ‘Just kidding.’”

“I do think that I finally have a title,” she said, “It’s not First Of All.”

Later in the interview she explained her aesthetic. “It fluctuates. I can’t really define what it is,” she said. “But musically, I’ve been trying to go back and sort of pull from things that were huge influences to me as a kid. You know, like jazz influences and stuff like that. So that’s been a big inspiration for me lately and sort of a defining characteristic of my music.”

A Silly Twitter Joke From Doja Cat Somehow Morphed Into Her Calling Fans ‘Dumb’ And Them Getting Upset About It

It’s not easy to predict what Doja Cat is going to say or do next, largely because she’s often delivering straight-faced jokes and it can be hard to believe what she really means. That’s sort of situation is exactly what appears to have been happening over on Doja’s Twitter account in recent days.

It started with a May 11 tweet that read, “My stage name is no longer doja cat its Emcee Flapchunks the 3rd and youll address me as such.” The next day, she added, “i just got jumped by emcee flap chunks the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. im changing my name back to doja cat.”

A Twitter user shared the latter tweet and wrote, “everyday she constantly reminds us that she isn’t funny.” Doja responded, “im one of the funniest people on this planet and its sad to know that youll never recognize that.” She added in another tweet, “I’m extremely funny and I will remind you all every day that I am if I have to.”

A few minutes later, Doja started a Twitter poll, which read, “yall mad cuz.” The possible answers were “im rich,” “u eatin c*m rn,” and “both.” One user replied to the poll, “Everyone is mad because you are calling your fans dumb.” Doja answered, “………are they not?” Somebody else tweeted, “What are you then ? If we are dumb,” and Doja replied, “pretty???”

Given Doja’s sarcastic nature, it’s super possible that she’s not upset about anything, and neither are some of her fans participating in the dialogue, and that this whole situation is just some people not getting the joke.

Doja Cat Calls Fans “Dumb,” Gets Called Out

Doja Cat is once again under fire for insulting her own fans. The singer is back in full force on her Twitter. Interestingly, barely any time has passed since she promised she’d be gone for a month. Doja’s social media activity has become more cryptic as the release of her next album, First Of All, approaches. The artist has been playfully discussing changing her stage name and the title of her upcoming project. She has been confusing fans in the process. However, Doja has recently been trolling fans in an even more insulting way than usual. It all started when she shared a message stating, “I’m low-key handsome, it’s crazy.” In response, someone informed Doja that she would never be funny.

Of course, Doja Cat took this as an opportunity to troll further. The user that told her she would “never be funny” seemed to be advertising a debut single on their Twitter. So, Doja responded, “How’s that debut single going?” This set off a long string of hilarious back and forth tweets. Doja and her fans traded insults, and much of it seemed to be in good fun. However, some took issue with a comment she made near the beginning of the troll fest. One person tweeted at Doja to say, “Everyone is mad because you are calling your fans dumb.” Without wasting a moment, Doja responded, “…….are they not?”

Doja Gets Put In Her Place By Fans

Doja Cat’s statement about her fans’ lack of intelligence has some people putting her in her place. As evidenced in the post about by The Neighborhood Talk, fans were quick to check her after the comment. “You was in dem chatrooms showing feet and we forgave you,” one fan said. “Don’t act dizzy now…” Doja Cat’s previous internet chatroom activity sparked quite a bit of controversy when it came to light. Another fan read Doja, as well, but their comment was far more serious in tone. “Your behavior is not doing what you think it’s doing,” they said.

Doja Cat has always been pretty controversial on social media, but lately the situation has gone off the rails a bit. The singer has been sharing snippets and small pieces of information about her upcoming album. However, in the process, she has also managed to insult fans, downplay her previous work, and make herself extremely unlikeable. The artist came online to announce the name of her new album, but she had some choice words for her two most recent albums. Doja stated that both Hot Pink and Planet HER were simply “cash grabs,” implying they were not her best work. She expressed that she could now disappear to an island and enjoy nature since she made her money. In the meantime, she said, her fans can mourn the loss of what she considers average pop music. Interestingly enough, she won the BMI Songwriter of the Year award after these comments. What do you think of Doja’s latest comment? Let us know below!

Doja Cat Beefs With Twitter Users Who Say She’ll “Never Be Funny”

As the arrival of her follow-up to 2021’s Planet Her nears closer, Doja Cat’s social media posts have become increasingly difficult to decipher. We’ve seen the Californian joke about changing her stage name, as well as the title of her upcoming project. Now, she’s also been feuding with internet trolls non-stop this afternoon. It all began when she sent out a message reading, “I’m lowkey handsome, it’s crazy,” to which someone let Doja know that “[she] will never be funny.”

“How’s that debut single going?” the fashionista asked in response, earning nearly 15K likes in the past few hours. Aside from that shady tweet, she also rejected a thirsty follower begging to “eat the box,” writing them back, “Find God.” This led to an all-out unserious war between Doja and her haters, in which she was told to find talent, a man, and hair. To all of these, the lyricist clapped back, “Find a toothbrush,” “Find a job,” and “Find some clippers,” respectively.

Doja Cat Spends Her Sunday on Twitter

Of all the quips aimed at the “Woman” singer today (May 15), it appears the one that hurt most was, “Find ya dad.” All Doja could respond to this was “Damn.” Elsewhere, she name-dropped Ice Spice when someone suggested that she “find a coochie to munch on,” and admitted that she had been “gathered” after being told to “Find music that is pleasing to listen to and not a huge amount of trash sounds together.”

Finally, someone else begged the multi-talent to “find [her] way back to becoming the old Doja [they] loved,” to which she had the perfect response. “Choose your words wisely,” Doja wrote, sharing a throwback photo from the earlier days of her career, complete with an obvious, vibrant blue wig and cat ears adorning her head.
