Buccaneers Star Shaq Barrett’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Drowns In Family Pool

Shaquil Barrett’s two-year-old daughter, Arrayah, drowned in the family’s swimming pool in Tampa, Florida on Sunday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed the heartbreaking news later in the day.

“Today’s tragic news is heartbreaking for all members of the Buccaneers family,” the team said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Shaq, Jordanna, and the entire Barrett family during this unimaginably difficult time. While no words can provide true comfort at a time such as this, we offer our support and love as they begin to process this very profound loss of their beloved Arrayah.”

The Tampa Police Department says officers arrived at the residence just before 9:30 AM, after receiving a call that a child had fallen into a pool. They transported Arrayah to a local hospital where they pronounced her dead. “It is not believed to be suspicious in nature at this time, but a purely accidental and tragic incident,” the Tampa PD said in a statement.

Arrayah and the rest of the Barrett family just celebrated her second birthday on April 19. The star linebacker had posted a tribute to her on Instagram writing, “Happy 2nd bday to my cutie girl. So sweet and cute. You made our family complete. I love you baby girl.” Arrayah was the youngest of four children in the family. Shaq and his wife Jordanna’s other kids are ages 11, 9, and 8.

Shaq is now entering his fifth season with the Buccaneers where he’s been named to the Pro Bowl twice. He also led the NFL with 19.5 sacks in 2019. He is coming off of a 2022 season in which he suffered a torn Achilles. Shaq recently signed a four-year, $72 million contract with $34 million guaranteed to remain with the team for the foreseeable future. Ralo shared a picture of his reunion with his daughter on Instagram, Sunday.

“I waited 5 long years just to be able to touch my daughter. As soon as I felt her little arms wrap around me in that visitation room it felt like my soul was released from my body,” he captioned a photo of their meet-up. “That shit felt so good that I’ll never forget that feeling. I never called myself a rapper due to the lame shit that goes on in the industry, but I can now honesty say I’m thankful for the rap game, because it helped me take care of my daughter and more my entire bid.

Diddy Posts Adorable Pictures With His Daughter Love

Diddy’s always one to shout out his family as his career develops, and he just posted some adorable pictures with his daughter Love. Moreover, it seems like they recently had a nice vacation, as he included some pictures of them in the water. Also, Love is wearing the finest style possible, with some round sunglasses and adorable bow. In the picture, the Bad Boy mogul smiles down on her in her arms, letting her at least dip her legs into the water. While he surely has some big industry moves on the way as always, the 53-year-old’s family matters are always an integral part of his social media presence these days.

Furthermore, he and his other kids recently filmed for a Hulu reality TV series, according to reports. This news comes from people spotting the clan filming around Miami and Los Angeles for a series that will reportedly profile all their endeavors. Given that the Kardashians moved their reality exploits to the streaming service, it would be understandable if the network piles up the famous family content.

Diddy Posts Adorable Snaps With Daughter Love

In other news, Diddy recently revealed that he’s might purchase BET, and explained why it’s important for the network to be Black-owned. “Media is the most powerful industry in the world but it’s the industry where we have the least amount of ownership, influence and control!” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s time for @BET to be Black-owned again so we have the power to tell our own stories, control our own narrative! This is not about me it’s about WE!!!!

“I’m building a team of leaders in the culture to pursue ownership in @BET together!” Diddy continued. “We have to unify our power and resources to create real change! #THETIMEISNOW.” With that big move, it seems the hip-hop legend is ready to create community wherever he goes, whether it’s in his business endeavors or by cultivating a strong family bond for the media. As long as he doesn’t let his ventures dampen his compassion and family-oriented mindset, he’ll continue to succeed in that department. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Diddy.

Tyler, The Creator Clears Up “Daughter” Line On New Single

Fans went absolutely ballistic on social media following Tyler, The Creator’s newest surprise single “DOGTOOTH,” particularly a line about him having a daughter. “If you don’t know my daughter name, then we ain’t really [dawgs],” the “IFHY” star raps near the end of the song. Of course, many took this as a straight-up revelation, and social media exploded with their takes on it. “Wait did Tyler just reveal he has a daughter #or is he just rappin?” one user wrote. Furthermore, it seems like he caught on to speculation quick, as he took to Twitter to respond to these fan theories and clear the air.

“I dont have kids and dont plan on it hahaha,” he wrote about a half hour after the song debuted. With that, it seems like T was just rapping and talking his smack over a gorgeous instrumental as he often does. Meanwhile, most of the discussion online unsurprisingly revolved around love for this new track and excitement for his upcoming CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale, which is an expanded version of his acclaimed 2021 Gangsta Grillz-style tape with DJ Drama with songs that didn’t make the final cut.

Tyler, The Creator Doesn’t Have A Daughter, Or Plans To Have Kids

In other Tyler-related news, both fans and fellow artists alike are huge fans of his style, creativity, and musical output. For example, Lil Yachty recently said that the 32-year-old was the one who inspired him to make his latest album Let’s Start Here. Not only that, but he also expressed a strong desire to make a collab album with him one day. Considering Yachty’s own skills in a breadth of musical styles and genres, both their artistic visions could mesh incredibly well.

Meanwhile, one of the greatest artists of our generation will appear in Hulu’s “RapCaviar Presents” series alongside the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Coi Leray, Polo G, and many more. In a trailer for the series, which premieres on March 30, he revealed some crucial advice that Pharrell gave him. “Make something undeniable and make it equally as infectious,” the Neptunes producer told him. “Why are you doing music? Is it because you just want to look cool? Because that will burn out. When it becomes purpose-oriented, it can be as cool as the flashy s**t, but it will be much more meaningful.” Then, Tyler thought, “Oh, f**k. No more being silly. Music first. At that moment, we went home, and I just wanted to change everything. I just wanted to switch. And the switch f***ing happened.” With that in mind, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates from Tyler, The Creator and his upcoming project.

Kevin Gates & Daughter Islah Practice Karate On IG

Kevin Gates just shared a wholesome clip of his daughter Islah teaching him karate on Instagram. While the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native is consistently busy with new music drops, he still took some time to learn. In fact, it seems like the learning experience that he gets with his daughter showing him the ropes of martial arts is exactly what he values the most about his relationships. Along with the short clip, Gates also penned a sweet message about learning from his children. Islah also seemed pretty excited to show her dad her moves… and defend him whenever necessary.

“On this Day #Islah was teaching her dad slash biggest student in the world Karate,” the “2 Phones” rapper wrote. “My children have been and are my greatest accomplishments and Teachers – Moments like this are priceless to me – Im beyond grateful I Love you All have a beautiful day full of Love and gratitude #Khaza #ImHim #Trying2Forgive.” Not only does Gates often show that love to his kids, but also the rest of his family. Most recently, his video and single “Breakfast” saw him rekindling a romance with his wife Dreka.

Kevin Gates’ Daughter Shows Him Karate

In other news, the 37-year-old recently gave his own take on the whole Melle Mel and Eminem debate. If you didn’t catch that, Mel said that Em is only considered a top five MC because he’s white, and had some other hot takes about Billboard‘s best rappers list. While speaking to TMZ, Gates said that such comments didn’t really change his perspective on Marshall Mathers’ greatness.

He in my top 5,” he expressed to the publication, disregarding the Furious Five member’s disparaging remarks. “He the truth. Who can make a song like ’Stan’? Listen, I don’t get in all of that. It’s only two types of people. It’s real people, and it’s fake people. Real people do real things, and fake people do fake things.” While he didn’t outwardly disrespect Mel for his take, it seems like he took a stance to defend the tangible success that Eminem’s had. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news, updates, and occasionally wholesome content from Kevin Gates.

Dwyane Wade’s Daughter Zaya Granted Legal Name & Gender Change

Zaya Wade, the transgender daughter of Dwyane Wade, was just granted a legal name and gender change, according to TMZ. Moreover, on Friday (February 25), they reported that a Los Angeles county judge approved the 15-year-old’s legal identity. Furthermore, this comes after her “proud” father Dwyane petitioned the court, which he first did in August of 2022. Now, in legal terms after coming out as trans in 2020, Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade is a female. While it might anger the most bigoted or close-minded of individuals, this is an important step in Zaya affirming her identity and being recognized as she wishes in the legal sense.

Dwyane had Zaya with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches back in 2007. While Zaya’s become an outspoken voice for trans rights and gender education, her parents had differing approaches to her identity. Moreover, the couple divorced in 2010 after eight years of marriage. The retired NBA star advocated for Zaya’s right to “live more comfortably and honestly in all aspects of her life.” However, Funches accused him of pressuring their daughter’s transition “in order to capitalize on financial opportunities.”

Still, the 41-year-old former basketball player called such claims “nonsensical” in a November 2022 filing. “While it certainly would have been preferable for Zaya’s mother to be supportive of this important part of Zaya’s journey, Zaya should not be forced to put her life on hold while she waits for Siohvaughn to acknowledge and accept her truth,” he stated. Also, he said that his daughter’s legal transition is in her “best interest. From simple introductions and food orders, to applying for a driver’s license and filling out college applications.”

Meanwhile, Funches- who used her daughter’s dead name “Zion”- said she wanted Zaya to wait until age 18 to transition. Afterwards, Wade once again expressed issue with this mentality. “I’m very disappointed that [Funches] continuously finds ways of centering herself and HER needs, without regard to her children,” he wrote on social media. Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Dwyane and Zaya Wade.

R. Kelly & Aaliyah’s Alleged Biological Daughter Sits Down For Interview

A woman who claimed to be R. Kelly and Aaliyah’s biological daughter a few weeks ago has now sat down for an interview with TLYoungBoss. Moreover, she shared a part of her story in a video testimony on TikTok, which many quickly dismissed. “Okay, y’all, my name is Love,” she said in the video. “My given name. I am the biological daughter of Aaliyah Haughton and Robert Kelly, R. Kelly. I just want to tell my truth and tell my mother’s truth because I feel like it’s time and it’s needed. I feel like I went through so many things as far as keeping this identity and deliberating with different family members. You know the energy, you guys know how it can get. I just want the world to know the best part of me. I am also accepting of my mother Aaliyah Haughton. I’ve been shook around…”

In this new interview, she acknowledged how crazy her story sounds from the outside, but still expressed determination. “What made you want to share this information with the world? ‘Cause sometimes some people will know these things and they’ll just take it to the grave.” Then, Love (or Lagena) responded modestly. “Even I, I sound like I’m crazy. It’s going to be hard to prove, but I know from my heart and the fact that they went so hard to try to dispel what I was saying.”

Woman Doubles Down On Being R. Kelly And Aaliyah’s Biological Daughter

“You don’t resemble R. Kelly and Aaliyah to a tee,” the interviewer remarked. “What would you say to that, as far as someone saying that, ‘Hey, you don’t look like your dad, you don’t look like your mother.’” Furthermore, Lagena’s answer was quite interesting. “Well, I have two words: DNA and biology. Everybody don’t look like their parents. Somebody look like their grandparents, somebody look like their great-great grandparents and great-aunties. That’s how life is.”

“They do all kinds of wild s**t, and then they f**k up, and then they wanna erase reality like it never happened,” another interviewer remarked. “There are so many of these children who are victims and casualties of their boss’s systemic sociopathic ways.” Check out the full interview here and check back in with HNHH for the latest on this story.

Lil Duval’s Old Tweets Resurface With Explicit Mentions Of His Daughter

Lil Duval’s old tweets recently resurfaced, and fans are outraged by his explicit comments about his daughter. Moreover, the comedian also wrote about sexual assault and alluded to incredibly concerning explicit content in the same breath as his child. As such, readers are advised to proceed with caution, as Duval’s expressions are quite disturbing. Furthermore, these revelations came seemingly out of the blue, as the last we heard from him was an apology to Nick Cannon and his son. While there’s not a lot of context for these old posts, fans can’t imagine what prompted him to act this way in the first place.

For example, one of his tweets concerns womens’ menstrual cycle. “Whenever my daughter period starts that’s when I’m gon be the first dude to dog her out,” he wrote back in 2012. In fact, many of these old tweets are from that time period, including some years before and after. In other surfaced tweets, he mentions sexual assault and wanting to have relations with his partners’ daughters when they grow up. Overall, it’s an avalanche of concerning and repugnant statements, and many pointed out his constant inappropriate behavior.

“I’m not even shocked that lil Duval is predator,” one Twitter user wrote. “He talks weirdly about women all the time and people laugh at this dude like he’s funny. There’s a reason most celebrities avoid him like the plague.” Also, another tweeter pointed out his proximity to other controversial figures. “Y’all surprised Lil Duval said he was gonna be the first dude to f**k his daughter,” they wrote. “As if he’s not best friends with Boosie and an R.Kelly apologist…BIRDS OF A DAMN FEATHER PEOPLE.”

Meanwhile, the 45-year-old is no stranger to controversy, although this is certainly a new low. For example, he faced backlash for criticizing a same-sex scene in the STARZ show P-Valley. “Yea p valley lost me,” he tweeted at the time. “They need a super gay advisory on movies like they got for everything else. Cuz That’s a lot to see if u not use to it,” he tweeted. Come back to HNHH for the latest on Lil Duval and the repercussions of his past and current actions.
