Micah Parsons Puts The Giants On Blast After 40-0 Loss

Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parson has put the New York Giants on blast after helping the Cowboys steamroll the Giants 40-0 this past weekend. “It’s called protecting your guy — something I thought the Giants should have done. I don’t think Daniel Jones should have been in that game in the fourth quarter. I thought they should have protected him and pulled him out. Barring injury, their season would be over without Daniel Jones,” Parsons said on his podcast.

The Cowboys got to Jones seven times during the game, with Parsons himself recording a sack and two QB hits. Despite talking a big game through the offseason about how the Giants had turned a corner last season, the team was completely buried in Week 1. “I do not agree with Daniel Jones staying out there until that last drive, I thought that was wrong. I thought that was deceiving. That’s your franchise quarterback, and he’s out there with a backup offensive line still getting sacked and hit. I just didn’t understand. Maybe it was a prove-it moment by the Giants — I have no idea — a learning lesson, who knows. But I thought Daniel Jones should have got pulled out,” Parsons added.

Giants’ Loss – Blip On The Radar Or Seasonal Foreshadowing?

The 40-0 loss was the worst season-opening loss in Giants history. However, was it just a blip on the radar? After all, a lot of teams struggled in week one. The Bills and Bengals lost despite being Super Bowl contenders. Meanwhile, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, despite the Eagles winning, lamented a sloppy performance and blamed his decision not to play starters more during the preseason. Sure, it was a very bad loss for the Giants. However, maybe it was just the Week 1 silly season playing out.

Or maybe it’s a sign of a rough season for the Giants. While they should get a reprieve against the Cardinals in Week 2, the Giants have one of the rougher starts to the season. The Niners, Seahawks, Dolphins, and Bills are all on the schedule. That’s not only a rough schedule, it’s also a great bellwether as to whether the Giants’ 2022 season was a fluke. Giants fans better pray that it wasn’t. After all, many of the team’s key figures are locked into long-term deals. Be sure to follow HotNewHipHop for all the latest sports news.

Sam Williams, Cowboys DE, Arrested On Drug And Weapon Charges

Sam Williams, a second-year defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, has been arrested on drug and weapon charges, according to police in Texas. Williams was arrested on August 20 but later released. He participated in team practice on August 22. The Cowboys have acknowledged they are aware of the situation but declined to comment further at this time.

Police have additionally confirmed that the drug charge, possession of a controlled substance, is not for marijuana possession and is a state jail felony. Other outlets have since reported the charge was for THC possession. Meanwhile, the weapon charge is a Class A misdemeanor for the unlawful carrying of a firearm. This is not Williams’ first run-in with the police. In December 2022, Williams was cited for reckless driving after totaling his car not far from the Cowboys’ practice facility. At the time, police said that Williams going nearly double the 55mph speed limit.

Williams began his football journey at Northeast Mississippi Community College before transferring after two years to Ole Miss. He had a solid career for the Rebels, recording 134 total tackles and 22.5 sacks. Playing in two bowl games, Williams won the Outback Bowl with the team in 2020. He was taken 56th overall in the 2022 draft, the 10th defensive end to be drafted. He appeared in 15 games for the Cowboys as a rookie. Additionally, he recorded 22 tackles and four sacks. He is currently listed as the backup to DeMarcus Lawerence on the team’s depth chart.

However, it’s unclear what will come as a result of this incident. Per the league’s personal conduct rules, the league could fine or suspend Williams. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if the police will be suing charges and punishment for Williams in this matter. This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when emerge.

Netflix Cashes In On Dallas Cowboys

Jones is arguably the most notable owner of any sports franchise in the entire United States. Undoubtedly the owner has managed to keep a more hands-on approach to his team than other owners in the NFL. However, that approach also comes with a lot of backlash. Many feel that ownership shouldn’t be as involved in the day-to-day operations of a team. However, nobody wants to be the one to break that news to Mr. Jones.

But the docuseries didn’t come cheap. The rights to this story were sold at a whopping $50 million. However, the money is more than likely no object to Jones. The longtime Cowboys owner would just like to hold that Lombardi Trophy one more time. Love them or hate them. The Cowboys and Jones have left a lasting impression on the entire sports community. Netflix will now get the chance to have fans see the story of the franchise from firsthand accounts. For the latest news in sports, keep it right here with HNHH.

Dak Prescott Reveals How He Feels About Ezekiel Elliott’s Release

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have been two of the most prominent players on the Dallas Cowboys over the past couple of years. However, Elliott has regressed a little bit as of late. In fact, Tony Pollard had overtaken him this past year as the starting running back. Consequently, the Cowboys made a business decision a few days ago and let Elliott go. Now, Elliott is a free agent who can sign with whichever team he desires.

Overall, this is a sad moment for the Dallas Cowboys, who are losing a very prominent voice in the locker room. Moreover, this is doubly devastating for Prescott, who is best friends with Elliott at this point. Now, Prescott will be feeling just a bit emptier whenever he is in the locker room. In fact, Prescott was recently asked about Elliott’s exit, and he seems pretty surprised and definitely upset. “I really can’t imagine taking the field without him,” Dak said. “It’s something that I don’t know if it’s completely hit me yet.”

Dak Prescott Reacts

Additionally, Prescott noted that he is definitely hurt by the decision. He acknowledged that Elliott probably is too and that no matter what, he will always support his friend. Needless to say, it must be nice for Elliott to know that he will always have a friend in Prescott. “I’m hurt,” Prescott explained. “I’m sure he is. But it’s more important for me to be able to support him. I know he’s got more opportunities coming his way. And I love that guy. Proud of him. No. 1 supporter for him no matter what.”

For the Cowboys, they are going through a bit of a transition. Their lack of playoff success over these past few years has been very frustrating for the fans. Moreover, Jerry Jones is trying to get one last title in his old age. Overall, it is not going to be easy, but the Cowboys need to start making all of these difficult decisions. Whether or not this will pay off for them, still remains to be seen. Let us know where you think Elliott should go next, in the comments down below.

SOURCE SPORTS: Ezekiel Elliott Released by Dallas Cowboys Clearing Salary Cap Space

a

Ezekiel Elliott’s time as a member of the Dallas Cowboys is over. The running back of America’s Team had a seven-year tenure and is now an unrestricted free agent.

According to Bleacher Report, Elliott will be a post-June 1 release, saving the Cowboys $10.9 million against the cap for the forthcoming season. Elliott amassed 968 total yards and 12 touchdowns last season. He only caught 17 passes for 92 yards.

Elliott was drafted by the Cowboys in 2016, leading to three Pro Bowls, an All-Pro nod, and the 2016 Rookie of the Year Award.

In a statement, Cowboys Jerry Jones addressed the release, praising Elliott’s time with the team.

“Zeke’s impact and influence is seared into the Cowboys franchise in a very special and indelible way,” Jones wrote. “He has been a consummate professional and leader that set a tone in our locker room, on the practice field and in the huddle. Zeke defined what a great teammate should be, and anyone that has every played a team sport would be lucky to have a teammate like Zeke and be much better for it.”

Jones added, “We have mutually agreed with Zeke that the best decision for everyone is that he will be able to experience free agency, and we can increase our flexibility and options as well.”

Jerry Jones Sexual Assault Lawsuit To Proceed Despite Previous Ruling

Jerry Jones is currently in the midst of a legal battle as a lawsuit was filed against him back in 2020. This lawsuit came from an anonymous woman who claims that he allegedly “kissed her on the mouth and forcibly grabbed her without her consent.” According to the victim’s account, this all happened on September 16, 2018 at the Dallas Cowboys’ home stadium. Subsequently, Jones denied any wrongdoing and immediately filed motions to have the lawsuit thrown out.

Overall, the Dallas County district court decided to throw out the case. This is because Jones and his lawyers argued that the victim could not go by “Jane Doe.” Otherwise, her lawsuit would be invalid. The court agreed with this ruling, and for a while, it seemed like Jones was in the clear. However, that is no longer the case as the victim’s lawyers challenged this ruling. The lawsuit was reviewed by a Texas appellate court, and now, it has been revealed by Radar Online that the case is back on.

Jerry Jones Loses Ruling

As the outlet reported, the court stated that Jane Doe “made a good faith attempt to amend her pleadings in response to the court’s special exceptions order.” Moreover, they believe that the lower court made an incorrect judgment call. Now, this entire lawsuit could very well go to trial. This could be devastating for Jones and the Cowboys organization as a whole. Having said that, it remains to be seen how all of this is going to go down.

At the time of writing this, the appellate court’s decision is the latest update in the case. Jones and his lawyers are still calling the alleged victim’s claims into question. However, it will be up to the trial to determine what truly happened here. Let us know what you think of this developing situation, in the comments below. CeeDee Lamb’s Massive Back Tattoo Includes Kobe Bryant

CeeDee Lamb has been having a great few years with the Dallas Cowboys. Overall, many can make the argument that he is the team’s number-one option. Quarterback Dak Prescott loves throwing to him, and at this point, they will be a dynamic duo for years to come. Although the team didn’t go as far as anyone would have liked, there is always next year. The Cowboys are building something solid, and Lamb will likely be part of it for a long time. At least Cowboys fans hope that this is the case.

Now, the offseason is here, and Lamb can finally relax for a little bit prior to training camp. For every player in the league, now is the time to do the things you otherwise wouldn’t be able to do during the season. One such activity is getting a tattoo. Although tattoos don’t affect your performance, getting them can be a very strenuous process. Firstly, there is a time commitment. Secondly, you have to heal from them. Getting a massive fresh tattoo can be impractical, especially if you have workouts just hours later. Having said that, Lamb has taken the time to get his entire back inked up.

CeeDee Lamb Back Tat

In the post above, Tattoo Artist Andres Ortega posted a masterpiece that he tattoed on Lamb’s back. Ortega works at Onder Ink in Phoenix, Arizona, and you can tell that he is a master of his domain. This tattoo has plenty of elements to it, including a spartan, a cross, Interstate 45, a huge tiger, and even Kobe Bryant. Every single moving piece of this tattoo looks amazing, and we’re sure Lamb loves his new ink. However, we also bet that was extremely painful. These kinds of tattoos take hours to complete and they have to be done over multiple sessions.

After the healing process, Lamb will be able to get back onto the field for some off-season workouts. We’re sure he is going to be extremely motivated, especially given everything the Cowboys have done over the last year. Let us know your thoughts on the tattoo, in the comments below. Micah Parsons Denies Throwing Shade At Dak Prescott

Micah Parsons had a fantastic season with the Dallas Cowboys. While the team didn’t exactly reach its goal of a Super Bowl, they certainly posted an incredible defensive effort. Overall, Parsons was one of the players to praise, as he was a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks.

Additionally, throughout the season, Parsons was very vocal on social media. He is someone that isn’t afraid to express what he is thinking, which has run him into some trouble. However, Parsons doesn’t shy away from the criticism as he understands that it is all part of the game.

Micah Parsons Speaks

Yesterday, Parsons went on Twitter and spoke about the trend that we are seeing from the four remaining teams in the NFL playoffs. Basically, Parsons is noting that when QBs don’t make a ton of money, their teams go far.

“Besides mahomes, every team in the final 4 Qb is on a rookie deal and surrounded by talent! Mhmm interesting take!” he wrote.

With Dak Prescott making huge dollars, some fans felt like Parsons was throwing a bit of shade. Subsequently, Parsons took to social media again where he defended himself. He meant no shade to his QB, and he wanted to make that crystal clear.

“Listen we not gonna sit here like I’m talking about Dak,” he wrote. “Shid when I get paid ima want a big contract too ! Come on stop reaching.”

Parsons is going to make a whole lot of money during his NFL career, and the Cowboys need to prepare for that. However, if he continues to play this well, maybe the defense can carry the team to a Super Bowl.

Jalen Rose Has Fans Thinking He Has Beef With Stephen A. Smith

Jalen Rose and Stephen A. Smith are two people who have been involved in rumors about one another. As many already know, Rose got a divorce from First Take moderator Molly Qerim recently. Subsequently, fans began to speculate about Stephen A. and whether or not he was sleeping with Qerim on the low.

Eventually, the rumors got out of hand and Rose had to put them to bed. However, the rumors have since been reignited after a series of tweets from Rose’s account on Monday night. These tweets were all related to those who hate the Cowboys on TV.

“So glad I didn’t make a career of content pretending to fake troll the Cowboys,” Rose wrote. “Praying on the audience being dumb/lazy and low hanging fruit. No @ needed. Damn near all shows selling clowns this like it’s quality content. You da fool.”

Jalen Rose Sparks Speculation

These tweets immediately had people thinking that he was talking about Stephen A. After all, Smith is one of the biggest Cowboys haters out there. He has always tried to slander the franchise, and it’s not a stretch to assume that is who Rose was talking about.

Consequently, there were plenty of tweets from fans who speculated about Molly and Stephen A. The consensus here is that Rose has some sort of vendetta against Smith. Of course, no one actually knows the nature of their relationship, although that did not stop people from unleashing their Twitter fingers.

To be fair to Rose, there are a plethora of broadcasters out there who have made a career off of trolling the Cowboys. Moreover, Smith is known for much more than just his Cowboys hate. Regardless, there is no denying that there was quite a bit of salt in whatever Rose was talking about.

Jerry Jones Reveals Mike McCarthy’s Fate After Cowboys Loss

Jerry Jones is one of the most vocal owners in all of professional sports. Having said that, he is usually very conservative when it comes to making big moves. Overall, he has a difficult time getting rid of head coaches. Furthermore, he doesn’t like moving on from franchise quarterbacks.

This has proven to be an issue for the franchise as they haven’t had much success in over 25 years. Their last Super Bowl was a long time ago, and since that time, things have drastically changed. Of course, it doesn’t help that the Cowboys lost yet another big game on Sunday, this time to the San Francisco 49ers.

Jerry Jones Reacts

Following yet another bad playoff loss, Jones was asked about the state of his team. Typically, Jones always gives his guys a vote of confidence. Consequently, this just leads to the same results, year after year. However, Jones still gets sell-out crowds, so it’s not an issue for him.

In the video clip down below, you can see that Jones has virtually no issues with his head coach, Mike McCarthy. He effectively noted that the man’s job is safe, even if the loss was “sickening.” Despite cooking up the worst final drive we’ve seen in a very long time, McCarthy will lead the team for another season.

If you are a Cowboys fan, this is probably the last thing you wanted to hear. After all, McCarthy hasn’t done much in the league since winning a title with Aaron Rodgers over a decade ago. Regardless, they will just have to put up with these playoff exits as Jones doesn’t see any need to change.

Let us know what you think about Jones’ remarks, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.
