Coi Leray has always been vocal on her social media. The 24-year-old “No More Parties” rapper has previously opened up about her insecurities, relationship with her father, and aspirations in the game on social media. Hence, it’s no surprise when the singer lets fans in on her current relationship status.

The couple has been publicly dating since November of 2021, making red carpet appearances and being seen on social media platforms such as TikTok. While it seemed as though the couple was good together, they may have possibly called it quits after Coi Leray penned an interesting message to her Twitter this past Sunday.

“No More Relationships,” Leray penned before a fan responded to the message asking for the singer to make this her new song title.  “Make this a song Pls <3,” the comment read before Leray responded, “Done.”

Coi Leray is definitely assuring fans that new music is on the way as she gears up to release her new album. Just last year, Leray stated that her album would be the best amongst female rappers in the industry.

“Kind of been a rough year, even though I made millions, It came with a lot of depression,” she wrote on Twitter. “‘Medicine’ is the last song ima drop this year. This song is strictly for my fans. When I go in the booth and vent, just know I’m speaking from the heart and I meant every word in the song.”

“Hope everyone has a great holiday and gets everything they ever dreamed of, This new year is going to be one of the biggest years of my life. My album is going to be one of the biggest female artist albums in the world. I can promise you on that,” she continued.

There has yet to be a set date on the release of Coi Leray’s album, but one thing is for sure, fans are ready to hear the masterpiece.

Benzino Issues Apology to Coi Leray After Blasting Nicki Minaj Collab

Benzino issued a public apology to Coi Leray after blasting potential Nicki Minaj collab.

24-year-old Coi Leray gained her prominence in the music industry after the release of her viral single, “No More Parties” in 2021, and later adding Chicago’s very own, Lil Durk, onto the single and releasing the music video. The song reached over 76 million views on Youtube, making people want to know more about the trendy superstar.

Since then, Coi has continued to release music with hits such as TWINNEM, At the Top, BIG PURR featuring Pooh Shiesty and more. While Coi Leray is on a consistent run in her music career, the New Jersey native is gearing up to release her highly anticipated debut album.

While the album is still in the works, fans are trying to figure out which artist will be making a guest appearance on the new album. Following a series of events yesterday, fans may now have an idea after Benzino, father of Coi, may have spilled the beans.

“She got the song with Nicki Minaj that’s gonna be coming out that’s gonna be crazy,” Benzino stated in a room on clubhouse. When the media got wind of the collab so many were excited for the singer before Nicki Minaj addressed the rumor stating that she doesn’t have an upcoming collab with anyone. “I don’t have a collab coming with anyone. Onika mode. Love you,” Nicki penned on her Instagram story.

Clearly frustrated with her dad’s actions, Coi Leray took to social media to address his claims, stating that she advises that her father takes the backseat in her career and let her steer the wheel.  “When people was yappin’ they mouth on the Clubhouse he felt like he had to defend himself but I had to tell my dad, he’s an OG and he was super-super big back in the day and everybody knows my dad’s an OG. He gotta play the back, gracefully,” she began. “It’s my turn now. It’s my turn, daddy. I’ma need you to sit the f**k down, grab some popcorn, enjoy the show, and clap for me when it’s time to clap for me. Alright, daddy?”

Although the singer is airing out her frustration, it’s a good thing to see the two on good terms following their online feud at the start of the singer’s career. “He’s going to go hard for me every single time. He not going to let nobody talk crazy about me or nothing,” she added.  “I guess it was a situation where people was yapping their mouth on the Clubhouse and he felt like he had to defend himself.”

Could Nicki Minaj and Coi Leray really have a collab on the way?

Coi Leray Posts And Deletes A Message That Says She Doesn’t ‘Have It In Me To Keep Pushing’

Last year was a special year for Coi Leray. The musician had a viral moment with “No More Parties,” which was later remixed by Lil Durk. She also earned a spot on the 2021 XXL Freshman Class list. However, her highs have also come with lows. Leray has seen her body and rap skills often criticized and she may have reached a breaking point with a message she posted and deleted.

Leray’s message began with a tweet that read “Brain dead.” However, in a second post, which she later deleted, she went in-depth about her mental state. “To all my trendsetters, I’m sorry I let you down,” she wrote. “I don’t have it in me to keep pushing. I feel like I’m brain dead. I pray that everyone continues to keep setting trends and striving.” She added, “Don’t know when I’ll be back but I don’t even want to think about it. I love you for life. -coi.”

Her message comes a few months after she revealed that Lil Durk stopped her from quitting rap. “Almost gave up one day and he told me don’t ever stop,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Most artist show love from a distance on some weird sh*t, but this man right here believed in me, believe[d] in ‘No More Parties’ and been behind me ever since. He know a star when he see one, and I just wanna thank you for all your support. OTF FOREVER.”

Coi Leray Gets Tormented My A Mischievous Imp In Her ‘Anxiety’ Video

Coi Leray has yet to capitalize on her breakout 2021, although that could change in the near future thanks to her new song “Anxiety.” The single from her upcoming debut has helped her gain traction after her breakout 2021 singles “No More Parties” and “Twinnem” brought her quirky approach to a mainstream audience. Today, she dropped the single’s surreal music video, which could raise its profile and go a long way toward earning her some much-deserved respect.

In the video, Coi is terrorized by a mischievous personification of the feeling of anxiety, portrayed by a flexible dancer in a houndstooth-patterned, bodysuit, complete with horns and a penchant for causing destruction. In a series of related vignettes, the evil imp upends a meal, forces another young woman to drink a whole bottle of wine, and demolishes a third woman’s bedroom, echoing the disruptive effects anxiety can have and the extreme measures some folks take to self-medicate.

Coi’s addressed her mental health through music on other singles, including “Medicine,” while fending off critics for the past year who criticized everything from her body to her passing resemblance to Dej Loaf. Hopefully, she can find a little peace of mind amid the bustle of becoming a star because she may only get bigger from here.

Coi Leray Admits Her Trust Issues Are A Result Of Her ‘Anxiety’ On Her New Song

Coi Leray had a breakout year in 2021. She landed her first successful record with “No More Parties,” a song that entered the top-40 section of the Billboard Hot 100. It was also remixed by Lil Durk after gaining viral attention on TikTok. She later released “Big Purr (Prrdd)” with Pooh Shiesty, which also made its way onto the Billboard singles chart, in addition to making an appearance in the 2021 XXL Freshman class. All of that points to signs that Coi could be in for a big year in 2022 as she’s due for another project.

The New Jersey makes her return with “Anxiety,” her first song of 2022. The track is a bright record that takes a step into the pop lane as Coi speaks about the nature of anxiety and how it affects her from day-to-day. “I still got anxiety, that’s why I keep it on me / Sometimes I feel like, can’t trust no one around me,” she sings on the new track. “There’s another side of me but I don’t even show it / ‘Cause I got way too many people eating off me.”

Coi’s new song arrives after she concluded 2021 with “Medicine,” another record that touched on the topic of anxiety. She spoke about her struggles in a statement that she shared with the song. “Kind of been a rough year, even though I made millions, it came with a lot of depression,” she wrote before hinting at her plans for 2022 with a confident end to the statement. “This new year is going to be one of the biggest years of my life,” she wrote. “My album is going to be one of the biggest female artist albums in the world, I can promise you that.”
