Chlöe Showed Off Her Body In A Joyous Vacation Video And Fans Are Showering Her With Appreciation

Even with fans making all kinds of out-of-pocket comments about her, Chlöe hasn’t been shy about showing off her body since starting her solo career with the unapologetic video for “Have Mercy.” Since then, she’s met every critical comment with another carefree moment reinforcing her self-love — and doubled down on displaying her assets, whether those commenters like it or not.

So it makes sense that after she had a booming busy season that included her controversial appearance in Swarm, the release of her first-ever solo album, and the tour for that album, she’s taking a vacation. She shared a compilation video from her time in paradise (it looks a lot like Hawaii) on social media, and once again bared nearly all with a series of skimpy bikinis that showed off her curves as she surfed, lounged, and soaked up the sun during her island getaway.

The difference is, it appears to be sinking in that she’s not going to let the trolls shake her confidence, so instead, the majority of the comments are praising her, congratulating her on taking some time for herself, and generally loving the look she gave behind the curtain of her rest and relaxation time.

A Recent Quavo And Chlöe Interview Has Re-Sparked Their Dating Rumors Despite Chlöe Already Denying Them

The internet is whispering that there’s a new hip-hop/R&B power couple brewing. According to social media users, The Little Mermaid star Halle isn’t the only Bailey sister with a rapper boyfriend.

Quavo and Chlöe might play stargazed love interests in their latest Peacock Original film Praise This, but fans believe there’s much more to their on-screen chemistry. Not only has the “Hotel Lobby” rapper been spotted partying with the singer following her In Pieces Tour stop in Atlanta, but after clips of the duo’s latest interview with Complex hit social media, users are riled up.

Although the “How Does It Feel” singer has denied that they were dating during her appearance on Latto’s Apple Music show 777 Radio, fans are calling bullsh*t. Quavo’s latest song, “Honey Bun,” may pay homage to Drake and 21 Savage, but some believe it’s an inside reference to Chlöe’s sweet tooth.

Users across Twitter have made up their minds, and the pair is the latest rumored romance to focus on. Check out a few responses below.

On the other hand, some aren’t sold on the idea of the two being romantically linked, claiming that they read their on-screen chemistry as sibling energy. This wouldn’t be the first time Chlöe supposedly dated a fellow musician and those rumors also turned out to be quite false.

Quavo And Chlöe Share Their “GOAT” Migos Songs

Quavo and Chlöe recently shared the screen in the Peacock original Praise This. The film sees Chlöe play Sam, a wannabe musician who moves from LA to Atlanta after a run-in with the law. She is then forced to join her cousin’s church’s praise team ahead of a national competition. Quavo stars as Ty, a popular rapper in Atlanta.

The film received a 50% critics rating and an 83% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It also fueled rumors that Quavo and Chlöe were dating. However, nearly a month after the film was released, we are still getting content from the two of them. The pair recently appeared on Complex‘s GOAT series to talk all things rap and Atlanta.

Quavo And Chlöe Have Different Favorite Migos Songs

Sitting down with Complex for an interview where the two co-stars interviewed each other, Quavo asked Chlöe what the “GOAT Migos song” was. Her answer was “Stir Fry” (2018). “When we were filming and we were at the trap house, we were like, cooking in the fake kitchen….So Angelica and I were like, we’re doing” before trailing off to sing “Stir Fry”. Quavo also interrupted the question to incredulously ask when, and why, Chlöe was a trap house. When she said it was the one they filmed at for Praise This, Quavo quipped “Oh, I thought you meant a different trap house.”

As for Quavo, his answer was short and sweet – “Bad And Boujee” (2016). He doesn’t give a reason why but they both agree it’s a good Migos song. It is Migos’ biggest and best-known hit. However, it’s something of an easy answer as well. The question was part of Complex‘s GOAT series. Quavo also said that his GOAT Atlanta restaurant was Magic City, a strip club, because of their “GOAT Atlanta wings. And you can go get some lemon pepper and see nice bodies.” He also said Nobu but that it “doesn’t count” because “that’s for all the bougie people”. When Chlöe called him out, saying that she thought he was “bad and boujee”, he responded “nope, just bad. I left the boujee at home.”

Chlöe Brought Out Halle Bailey On Her ‘In Pieces Tour’ For A Performance Of Songs From Their Album ‘Ungodly Hour’

Chlöe is celebrating the recent release of her debut solo album In Pieces with an exciting tour. It kicked off earlier this month in Chicago, where she didn’t hesitate to confront critics: “F*ck what the f*ck anybody wanna f*ckin’ say,” she said onstage.

In Atlanta on Sunday night (April 23), the audience was in for a special treat. To spice up her performance, the “How Does It Feel” singer brought out her sister and fellow Chloe X Halle member Halle Bailey, who’s been in the spotlight as well for her role in The Little Mermaid. The Bailey siblings performed their 2020 songs “Ungodly Hour” and “Do It” together, looking happier than ever.

Chlöe shared a grateful post to social media about the “magical” night.

“ATL love yall so much,” she wrote on Instagram. “I got to reunite with my best friend on stage and even have my own national day now (Chloe Day April 22nd) each night on tour has been so magical.”

Just last week, the two reunited on Jimmy Fallon’s That’s My Jam and sang a medley of breakup anthems, including Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor” and Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated.”

Chlöe Exposes ‘The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy For Not Knowing Her Songs

Chlöe is officially over internet trolls ruining her fun. As Charlamagne Tha God put it when she visited Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club show this morning, “digital dickheads” have been getting her down — but lately, she’s been fighting back. “Come at me bro,” she said.

Toward the end of the interview, though, after DJ Envy tried to shade Charlamagne for not downloading Chlöe’s debut album In Pieces, she had to drag him, too. “Did you download the album?” she questioned him. “I streamed it,” he said.

The interrogation didn’t stop there, though. “Okay, so what was your favorite song?” Chlöe wondered. This stopped Envy in his tracks. And while he tried to plead out by saying that he’s played “Have Mercy” in the club, she pointed out that “Have Mercy” wasn’t included on the album proper, and again questioned what song from the album he played. “Caught!” she snarked.

Obviously, this was more of a comedic moment between the host and guest, but Chlöe has been making it a point lately to call out the trolls who have so much to say about her, but aren’t real fans. Her In Pieces tour backdrop puts some of the more common criticisms on display, allowing her the platform to strike back, and her interviews have found her confronting those people head on.

Chloe X Halle Reunited On ‘That’s My Jam’ To Cover Some Iconic Breakup Anthems

Chlöe is keeping busy, as she’s still hot off the release of her solo debut album, In Pieces, and touring North America in support of the album. Equally busy is her sister, Halle Bailey, who is gearing up for the premiere of The Little Mermaid, in which she plays Ariel. But their tight schedules couldn’t stop them from reuniting last night (April 17) on Jimmy Fallon’s That’s My Jam.

During the episode’s “Mixtape Medley Showdown,” the two sang a musical montage of iconic break-up anthems. Chlöe kicked off the challenge with a smooth cover of Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor,” then, on Halle’s turn, she sang Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated.” The two went back and forth singing covers of songs by Kelly Rowland, Carrie Underwood, Fleetwood Mac, Olivia Rodrigo, and more.

Though the two are proving fruitful in their solo endeavors, nothing can break the bonds of sisterhood. Last month, in a campaign for ZyrTec, Halle said that the two are not finished making music together as Chloe X Halle.

“She’s my biggest supporter. I’m her biggest supporter. We’re just really excited to be able to be doing all of this together and for this all to be happening. I’m so proud of her,” said Halle.

Chlöe Reflected On Touring With Beyoncé Back In 2016 For The ‘Formation World Tour’

Chlöe may have asked her estranged lover “How Does It Feel” to lose out on her love in the single. But actress and television host Drew Barrymore is turning the question back on her regarding a very special lady in her life. While out promoting her debut solo album, In Pieces, the singer stopped by Barrymore’s namesake talk show.

With the “Body Do” singer currently on tour, Barrymore wanted to take a trip down memory lane when Chlöe and her sister, Halle Bailey, were featured as guest openers for their mentor Beyoncé’s Euporean leg of the Formation World Tour in 2016.

“Oh my God! I’m so excited,” declared the host as she held hands with the singer. Barrymore went on to talk about first becoming a fan of Chlöe which included the tour appearance. “What was that like,” the host asked.

To that, Chlöe replied, “It was really exciting! And all those people [in the audience]. I was like, ‘We get to perform in front of all those people that came here to see Beyoncé?’ That was pretty cool!”

Later on in the interview, Chlöe acknowledged that despite all that she’s accomplished professionally, at times, she is still harsh on herself. When asked what she does to shake out of those moments, she replied, “So I’ll cry it out first. I’m gonna be honest. I call my God mom, and I call Halle and my siblings and just cry and cry, and they’ll be like, ‘Boss up.’”

She added, “And I’m gonna be honest, when my album came out last week, I never thought the day would come, so when it actually happened, I was like trying to figure out every way in my head to make sure it wasn’t happening, or it was like imposter syndrome, so I keep reciting to myself, ‘I deserve it, I deserve it.’”

Chlöe Was ‘Screaming’ And ‘Crying’ When She Saw Her Sister Halle Bailey In ‘The Little Mermaid’ Trailer

Chlöe just unveiled her debut solo album In Pieces and is on an extensive tour to bring the new music to her fans. (She also recently delivered a terrific UPROXX Sessions performance and had her own UPROXX cover story last summer.) Meanwhile, her sister and collaborator Halle Bailey is thriving in the limelight in her role as Ariel in the new The Little Mermaid movie.

In her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Chlöe talked about how happy she was for Halle when she watched the trailer for the movie.

“I was screaming and I was crying,” Chlöe said. “I was just screaming because she is a real-life mermaid, a siren, graceful in all her beauty. And people get to see what I’ve always seen since we were little girls.”

Chlöe also recently said that fans who talk trash about her solo career were never fans in the first place.

“The thing is,” Chlöe began, “the same people who say that weren’t fans of Halle and [me] when we had our Ungodly Hour album out, The Kids Are Alright. So, it’s a bunch of people who are just putting in their two cents now just to really say things. Sis and I, we’ve been underground for a minute and the same people who talk weren’t around then or giving us our props then, and it’s like now they want to talk trash for some reason.”

Chlöe Puts Her Dynamic Range On Full Display To Perform ‘How Does It Feel’ On ‘UPROXX Sessions’

Fresh off the release of her debut solo album, In Pieces, buzzing pop-R&B vocalist Chlöe popped by Uproxx Studios to deliver a virtuoso performance of her album’s Usher-sampling second single “How Does It Feel.”

While the single’s controversial guest star, Chris Brown, doesn’t make a physical appearance, Chlöe opts to leave Brown’s vocals intact, keeping a melodic counterpoint to her own dazzling display of dynamic range.

Chlöe confronted the criticism about her collaboration with Chris Brown head-on recently, telling Big Tigger of her hometown radio station V-103 Atlanta, “I always just wanna let the music speak for itself, and to be honest, no matter what I do, people always find things to say about it, so I’m used to it. I just choose to ignore it. People have every right to their opinions, freedom of speech, and it’s up to me to choose what I give my attention and energy to.”

In a separate interview on another Atlanta radio station, Chlöe likewise brushed off some of the main criticisms of her new album, saying, “The same people who say that weren’t fans of Halle and [me] when we had our Ungodly Hour album out… So, it’s a bunch of people who are just putting in their two cents now just to really say things.”

And just to hammer the point home, during the opening of her tour for the album, she displayed some of the most common critiques, while telling haters, “They can kiss my Black ass.”

That’s how she feels, since everybody else gets a say.
