Boosie Badazz Hip-Hop 50 Grammys Performance Has Him Feeling Grateful

A lot has changed for Boosie Badazz since his return home from prison in 2014. While the “Wipe Me Down” hitmaker is certainly happy to have his freedom reinstated, there’s been a longing in his heart to return to the stage. Of course, Boosie has given plenty of “regular” performances, but what he’s actually been craving is a slot during one of the music industry’s many annual award shows. As hip-hop celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, the embattled star was able to make his dreams come true thanks to the Grammys.

As AllHipHop reports, on Sunday (December 10), CBS aired their two-hour “A GRAMMY Salute To 50 Years Of Hip-Hop” celebration, which was previously filmed in November. Boosie was just one of many entertainers who graced the stage with his presence, and now that the world has finally seen his performance, he can’t stop gushing about it on social media. “THANKS TO THE GRAMMYS FOR FINALLY GIVING ME A CHANCE TO PERFORM AT AWARDS SHOW SINCE I BEEN HOME FROM PRISON!! #imgrateful,” he tweeted yesterday.

Other legends who were a part of the Questlove-organized show include Big Daddy Kane, Bun B, Common, Nelly, Queen Latifah, and Rakim. As for newcomers, names like Coi Leray, Gunna, Roddy Ricch, and Latto were all on deck to prove they can keep up with their predecessors. Boosie may not have won a trophy from the Grammys yet, but he’s still grateful to see rap getting the recognition it deserves from the public.

Despite the chaos following him for the past few months, Boosie Badazz seems to be in good spirits as 2023 comes to a close. Not only has he made a solid impression on hip-hop heads with his Hip-Hop 50 Grammys performance, but we’ve also seen the Louisana native making big strides in the dating world. Boosie Badazz Flames A Girl For Comparing Herself To Chloe Bailey: Watch

Boosie Badazz has never been afraid to speak his mind about anyone or anything. Throughout his long-lasting musical career, he has been interviewed countless times and involved with quite a few beefs. Every time, he is going to leave no stone unturned and get his point across one way or another. Just look back to his recent back-and-forth with singer and rapper, Rod Wave. Even with offering up money for using his music, supposedly without permission, Boosie was going to take him to court.

It goes beyond that situation even. Boosie is unapologetically himself and that authenticity continues to go a long way for him. Indeed, he is one of the most unintentionally funny people in the rap game. He was recently in a YouTube video titled, “20 WOMEN VS 1 RAPPER: BOOSIE BADAZZ.” It is an ongoing series that Ryanwitdasauce has on his page. 20 women present themselves to one man to see if they are compatible with the special guest.

One of the girls in the video was making her pitch to Boosie. She seemed to be making headway with him stating that she loves being a true feminine woman. She loves to cook, clean, and all of the above. Then, she started to talk about how she likes to sing and that she has some similar qualities to Chloe Bailey. That is when Boosie had to interject and say, “You can’t f*** with [her].” He took a step further saying he saw a sex tape with her in it. “She was getting hit from the back I just saw that. F****d me up.” It made everyone on the set laugh so hard. But, again you have to respect the honesty at the end of the day.

What are your initial thoughts on Boosie Badazz going after the girl in the YouTube video for saying she is similar to Chloe Bailey? Do you think he was being a bit too harsh, or was there nothing wrong with his honest answer? Is Boosie the funniest rapper out of everyone in the industry? Boosie Badazz Cheating Comments Cause Backlash, He’s Not Here For It: “DON’T PLAY WITH ME”

Boosie Badazz is often known for being controversial, but this week, he took things to new levels when talking about his daughter’s relationship. The Louisana native made it known that the man in his child’s life may be able to commit infidelity, but he won’t see the light of day after laying hands on Boosie’s daughter, should he ever make that mistake. When footage of the awkward moment hit various blogs, backlash instantly came flooding in from those who misunderstood the true meaning behind the “Wipe Me Down” rapper’s message.

The hate got Boosie in his feelings, as he hopped on Instagram to address his critics in a video rant. “BEFORE [YOU] QUESTION MY PARENTING AS A DADDY, ASK YOURSELF, IS YOUR DADDY A BETTER PARENT THAN ME😊?” the 41-year-old inquired in the post’s caption. “WHAT RAPPER [YOU] KNOW GOT MULTIPLE BABY MOMMAS N THEY KIDS ALL GREW UP LOVING EACH OTHER, TRAVELING WITH EACH OTHER. [WHO ELSE] HAS ALWAYS BEEN N THEY LIVES AS A DADDY N PROVIDED FOR THEM ALL. GTFOH, DONT PLAY WITH ME WITH THIS DADDY S**T. I GET IN MY FEELINGS” he went off, making it clear that family isn’t up for discussion.

Boosie Badazz Knows He Can’t Keep His Daughters Safe From Heartbreak

When speaking with the camera directly, the controversial figure provided more clarity on his original statement. “I’m not the type of daddy that get in my daughter’s relationships ‘bout no cheating or nothing like that,” Boosie began. “But if you beat on her then that’s a different thing. That’s my problem … Me and my daughter, me and Pretty Black is thick as thieves. I talk to her about anything. She talk to me about anything,” the passionate father added, making it clear there’s no bad blood in their home.

As per usual, family drama isn’t the only thing weighing heavily on Boosie Badazz’s shoulders at this time. Recent weeks have seen him and Rod Wave taking shots at each other online, with the former finally following through with filing a lawsuit against the younger lyricist over a sample he allegedly wasn’t paid for. Boosie Badazz Thinks That The Florida District Attorney Kept YNW Melly In Jail To Allow New Death Penalty Law To Pass

Boosie Badazz loves to give his opinions on things, as we all know. Sometimes, they may come across as outlandish, but he might have a point here. The Louisiana rapper continues to do a lot of interviews with VladTV and he recently sat down with him again. In the past, the two have discussed the YNW Melly murder trial and how rocky it has been. After the first go-around resulted in a mistrial, they are looking to go through the process again.

It has been mercilessly pushed back. Originally, it was going to happen in October, but now it looks like February 5 is the day. Boosie Badazz talked about how bad feels for Melly and his family. He has a sneaking suspicion that when the court wants you, they will do anything they can to have you locked up. Boosie truly feels that Melly was kept in jail for so long that the new 8-4 law could pass.

Boosie Badazz Feels They Have It Out For YNW Melly

According to the Death Penalty Information Center, Florida passed a law where only eight votes are required for someone to receive the death penalty. Before, it had to be a unanimous vote, but the goalpost is now closer. Boosie feels it is messed up. He said, “After that law passed, they took him straight to f******g trial, bro. Eight-four is f*****g crazy.” But, in the latest clip above, he has a feeling that the court is going to do all they can. “When they want you, they want you.”

What are your initial thoughts on Boosie Badazz’s latest comments about the YNW Melly trial? Do you think he has a valid point when he said, “When they want you, they want you?” How do you see the rest of this court case playing out when a new trial begins in February? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. How Many Kids Does Boosie Badazz Have? 41-Year-Old Still Desires To Expand His Huge Family

Because Boosie Badazz willingly shares so much of himself with the world on social media and in his music, it’s not surprising that family drama also becomes our problem more often than not. Not only does the 41-year-old have a large group of children to care for, but he also has strained relationships with some of their mothers, resulting in mounting tension. In a recent VladTV interview, Boosie called his daughter Tori’s mom “evil” after she decided to press harassment charges against him. Besides that tough situation, the “Wipe Me Down” hitmaker also has seven other young ones to worry about.

Even with such a big family, Boosie said in another chat with Vlad that he’s not ready to stop having kids yet. Instead of getting seriously involved with another woman, or spinning the block with an ex, the embattled star shared earlier in 2023 that he’s seeking out a surrogate to have his ninth baby. “Well, at one point, my lil baby, my boo, she ain’t wanna have a baby for me,” Badazz told the journalist.

“A lot of stuff was going down. I mean, she was at a point when she was taking off with her career, so she didn’t wanna be pregnant,” he continued. At this point, Vlad chimed in with a quip about Sexyy Red expecting another child as she reaches new heights of superstardom, leading both men to laugh. “I had to start looking for a surrogate, man, and I done had a few meetings with some of them, but, I don’t want to put a baby in just anyone,” Boosie added, on a more serious note.

So far through their working relationship, there’s little that we haven’t heard Boosie Badazz speak with DJ Vlad about. Earlier this fall, the Louisana native alleged that he makes $500K annually for his interviews with the journalist, causing the latter to launch a GoFundMe in hopes of securing help with Boosie’s fee for 2024. Rod Wave Denies Stealing Boosie Badazz Sample: “Find You A Hobby F**k Ni**a”

When Rod Wave first caught wind of the hate Boosie Badazz was spreading about him online, the 25-year-old took things in stride. He offered to have a discussion with the Louisana native so they can agree to an amount of money to squash the situation, but instead, Boosie is hinting at filing a lawsuit and dropping a diss track about Rod. At this point, the “Great Gatsby” artist has had enough of the drama and has taken to platforms like Twitter and Instagram to get some things off his chest.

“Jus ‘cuz you know ’bout da original song [doesn’t] mean I stole it? [You] d*mb b**ch,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “I ain’t never stole s**t, five platinum albums. Find [you] a hobby f**k ni**a. [You] b**ches don’t even [f**k with me], speaking on me. Mind yo bidness b**ch,” his rant continued. While that likely helped air out some of his feelings, it wasn’t enough for Wave to call it a night. Instead, he hopped on his IG Story with more to say.

Rod Wave Grows Weary of Boosie Badazz’s Allegations

“It was okay for me to be a f**king teenager listening to they music,” the Florida native vented to his followers on Tuesday (November 21). “Supporting them and s**t, f**king with them… How they finna be bringing up all these lyrics like I stole some s**t? It’s public record. I ain’t stole no s**t. Tryna come up with some s**t like I stole they s**t.”

Among others who are weighing in on the validity of Boosie Badazz’s bitterness is Fat Joe. The Terror Squad member can name at least 20 instances that would give him grounds to claim his music was “stolen” by other artists but doesn’t seem too bothered about bringing the potential legal battles to court. Rod Wave Seemingly Quits Music In Latest Social Media Rants Amid Beef With Boosie Badazz

The beef between Rod Wave and Boosie Badazz continues to get spicier and spicier by the hour it seems now. This all began a couple of days ago when the Louisiana rapper called out the Florida R&B and rap star for biting off of one of his older tracks. In fact, it landed on Boosie’s 2010 record Incarcerated, and was called “Long Journey.” Rod has the same name on his latest commercially successful record, Nostalgia.

Boosie has been furious about all of this saying a lawsuit is in order. On top of that, he has also been in the studio cooking up a diss track for him, including anyone else who has borrowed from him. He is sick and tired of getting love but no compensation for his work. Rod Wave has replied to him saying he does not need to be getting lawyers involved and he would pay him as long as it is nothing too outrageous. However, it seems the soulful singer has had enough of the criticism.

In a Twitter (X) rant, he apparently has quit music. Now, this could be real, but more than likely, it is a byproduct of tensions being really high between the two artists. Nonetheless, here is what he had to say about all of the sample stealing. The tweets go in the order. They seem to be deleted, but they read, “I ain’t never stole s*** 5 platinum albums find u a hobby f*** n****.” The next one says, “F*** y’all I did wat I came ta do I ain’t dropping s*** else.” Finally, Rod goes, “Jus cuz youn know bout da original song mean I stole it? U dumb b****.” A lot of fans are already joking about it, with one saying he will be singing about this on his next album.

What are your initial thoughts on Rod Wave saying he is quitting music and nothing else is coming out? Do you believe him, or is he really upset with the situation around Boosie Badazz? If Rod never made music again, how much would that affect the rap game? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Boosie Badazz Teases New Supposed Diss Track Toward Rod Wave

Boosie Badazz is growing more and more tired by the day with rappers and other artists biting from his catalog. It seems Rod Wave is the straw that is breaking this camel’s back. Apparently, he is the latest to do so and the Louisiana rapper is gearing up to drop a track that is consequently taking shots at the Florida native for borrowing from him without compensation. The news broke about Boosie looking to sue the soulful singer and rapper a couple of days ago, on November 19. The song that was being contested was “Long Journey” which also appeared on Boosie’s 2010 record, Incarcerated.

His first outburst included this commentary. “Can’t let you just take my sh*t and I’m not getting nothing. I just want my split, you know, my cut… I ain’t mad, I love when they do that sh*t.” Rod came across the wrath of Boosie and responded. “On my momma Boosie. Big bra I fw ya tell me a real number. Yeen even gotta do all dat tell me a number ima pull [up] and bring it to you!!” However, it might be too little too late.

Boosie Badazz Gives Fans A Sneak Peek

According to XXL, Boosie is cooking up something in the studio for him and everyone else for that matter. There are no namedrops in the lyrics, but they are pretty telling. “For years I let you n****s slide, hoping that I get that phone call like n**** you can’t get 25%, but I never got it / Not keeping it real so let’s keep it real.” There is no word on when it will drop, but there is a good chance it could be within the next couple of days.

What are your initial thoughts on Boosie Badazz’s new song that is assumedly a diss toward Rod Wave? How does the track sound to you so far? Will Boosie accept Rod’s latest peace offering? Boosie Badazz Speaks On Why Collaboration Album With T.I. Never Came To Be: “I Just F****d It Up”

About a month ago, legendary Atlanta rapper and trap pioneer, T.I. announced his retirement from music. He did so on the We In Miami podcast and it shook the music world. He revealed why he felt it was the right time to move on. Mostly, it was to explore other avenues. In addition, T.I. also said that he would be closing out his career with a double album with a unique feature from NBA Youngboy. However, maybe the most interesting subheader is that his collab record with Boosie Badazz may never come out.

“The time that we had allotted for it we kinda passed by it.” However, he did not totally shut the door. He said, “Not saying that the window can’t present itself again. We have a very healthy relationship.” That is good to hear especially after some of their recent disagreements and harsh words for each other. We were not too sure what T.I. meant by that he and Boosie passed by it, but now we do.

Boosie Badazz Takes Blame For His Collab With T.I. Not Dropping

According to HipHopDX, Boosie went on The Breakfast Club recently and they asked him about the duo tape. The Louisiana rapper had a similar answer to his friend, but he took the fall for it not coming to fruition. “I called him about a month ago and asked him what’s up with it. I think it’s just, like, on the back-burner right now, but it’s damn near done, bro.” He heartbreakingly goes on, “I think I’m more excited on driving it than Tip. Y’know, Tip locked in with these movies, but man, me and Tip made a hell of a[n] album. I just f****d it up.”

What are your initial thoughts on Boosie Badazz revealing that he was to blame for him and T.I.’s album not dropping? Do you think this is a massive mistake for Boosie’s career? Sexyy Red Called Herself The “Modern Day Boosie”

Sexyy Red has experienced a meteoric rise to fame in 2023. Earlier this year she released her debut album Hood Hottest Princess which came on the heels of her breakthrough hit “Pound Town 2.” The album went on to find even more success with songs like “SkeeYee” and “Hellcats SRTs.” That doesn’t even touch on some of the artists she’s collaborated with along the way. Nicki Minaj and DaBaby were some of her earliest team-ups and since then she’s worked with massive artists like Drake, SZA, and Lil Durk.

While Sexyy Red’s breakout year has seen her compared to many other rappers, she has one particular comparison in mind. Yesterday she tweeted “modern day boosie” making it clear that her biggest point of comparison is Boosie Badazz. As is often the case when Red does anything online, fans started hating on her quickly. “NO WAY. NO ALBUMS, NO CLASSICS, NO LYRICS, NOTHING,” and “This disrespectful to boosie,” two of the top comments read. Despite that general sentiment there are those who show up in the comments in defense of red. Check out the tweet itself and various fan reactions below.

Sexyy Red Makes Boosie Comparison

One rapper that Sexyy Red finds herself compared to more than any other is Young Thug. But the comparisons don’t have much of anything to do with either artists music or style, it’s just that fans think they look alike. Red made the mistake of making it publicly known that she dislikes the comparison, which only led to fans making it even more. Thankfully, she seems to have gotten much more comfortable with it since then.

Sexyy Red has yet another high-profile collaboration on the way this year. Last week, Kevin Gates took to social media to tease an upcoming song he did with Red. While it doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet fans are already hyped to get their hands on the raunchy banger. What do you think of Sexyy Red declaring herself the modern day Boosie Badazz? Let us know in the comment section below.
